Battlefield 5 Update 1.21 Patch Notes, File Size Info – Here’s Everything in the BF5 Update Today

As expected from DICE’s previous announcement, the new Battlefield 5 update today has been rolled out, and it’s full of fixes rather than new content. Clocking in at X on PC, 2.4GB on PS4, the Battlefield 5 update 1.21 patch notes can be read below, and is also referred as Battlefield 5 update 4.2 by DICE.

Battlefield 5 update 1.21 patch notes:

What’s New?

  • We have reduced the recoil, and increased the muzzle velocity for the P08 Carbine in a bid to improve its effectiveness
  • Kills in Firestorm are now awarded if the enemy player disconnects during the downed state

What’s Changed?

  • Fixes targeted at removing extreme instances of Invisible Soldiers
  • Specializations are now able to be reset on the P08 Carbine
  • The game will no longer stutter when killing enemies with tanks
  • Removed an unintended suppression effect that was applying to infantry soldiers when a tank fires it’s main cannon
  • The screen will no longer turn black when firing stationary cannons
  • The Arras sights on the Lewis gun now displays correctly when using extended mags
  • Rate Of Fire for the MKVI Revolver has also been reduced to 180RPM, from 200RPM
  • The correct crosshair now shows for the Mosquito FB MKVI on all load-outs
  • The Company will now display the correct amount of bombs for the JU-88
  • Players trying to spawn into airplanes should no longer get stuck on the deploy screen

Don’t forget, a much smaller update is due to hit next week, and will most likely include a bunch of fixes, and will enable the Marita map for all players!

The next major Battlefield 5 update is scheduled to hit near the end of August, and will bring the increase in the level cap and much more, which you can read about here.

Once we hear more news regarding next week’s update, or if this update brings in a bunch of new info that can be datamined, we’ll let our readers know ASAP.

Call of Duty: WWII DLC Weapons Permanently Unlocked by Sledgehammer Games in Latest Update

Remember Call of Duty: WWII? The latest Call of Duty game from Sledgehammer Games? While most COD players have been busy playing Black Ops 4, and looking forward to this year’s Modern Warfare, Sledgehammer Games has steadily been improving their latest version of COD, and just yesterday, they made it a whole lot better.

In a new post, Sledgehammer announced how it’s permanently unlocking almost all of the COD WWW2 DLC weapons! Here are the new weapons available in drops:

• M36 [SNIPER]

• Wimmersperg Spz [AR]

• Austen [SMG]

• M267 [SMG]

• Chatelerault [LMG]

• GDB-79 [AR]

• Bechowiec [SMG]

While Sledgehammer originally was planning on opening collections temporarily, they’ve decided to make it permanent.

We know we said that we’d be opening collections temporarily, but the more we thought about it, temporary sucks, permanent is way cooler – therefore, we’re opening collections for WWII permanently and removing that pesky “Limited Time” UI with the update today. It’s not lost on us how meaningful the relationship has become between our team and this wonderful community during the lifecycle of Call of Duty: WWII. Blammo, permanent.

The studio has also listed the list of Contracts for the previous batch of weapons and when players can earn them again:

• Erma EMP – 7/23

• Blyskawica – 7/30

• Fire Axe – 8/6

• Baseball Bat – 8/13

• Push Dagger – 8/20

Sledgehammer adds that they’ll follow up on this on Tuesday, August 27, with  a proper Contract calendar for the newest weapons, so players can properly schedule for ’em.

Given how brazenly predatory Treyarch’s microtransactions have been so far in Black Ops 4, this is a refreshing change of pace for a Call of Duty developer, no? Let’s hope Infinity Ward follows suit and doesn’t make Modern Warfare’s weapon drops hard to obtain without spending real world money.

Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019 Info Officially Revealed by Bungie

After the recent datamine that showed a massive number of details about Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019 was released earlier this week, Bungie have now revealed even more details about the upcoming event. Many of the datamined details have yet to be confirmed, because they discuss Ghost quotes and Bounties, but Bungie have revealed details that this datamine didn’t cover. Read on for the known Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019 info.

Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019 will run from July 30 2019 until August 27 2019. There’s a brand new trailer that shows some of the new content that players can earn, check it out below and read on for more details.

Eva Levante

As with last year’s Solstice of Heroes, Eva Levante will be returning to the Tower. She will act as the vendor for the event, guiding players through the festivities.

Elemental Orbs

Also returning with Destiny Solstice of Heroes 2019 are Elemental Orbs. Each day will specify a different element as the most powerful one, and making kills with this element will award Elemental Orbs. These can then be used to upgrade the Solstice Armor that players acquire as part of the event.

The daily elemental buffs will also provide a benefit to players if they equip a Subclass with that element and collect the Elemental Orbs. On Solar days players will emit a burning wave of energy that damages enemies around them. On Void days players can crouch to gain invisibility and Truesight, as well as enhanced ability regeneration. Finally, on Arc days players will deal greater melee and sword damage, and move much faster.

European Aerial Zone

This is a new matchmade, three player activity that can be launched from the Tower and Director. In this activity players will take on Hive, Cabal, or Fallen, with the goal being to kill as many minibosses as possible before the activity ends. Once the activity is complete, with the boss defeated, players venture out to find treasure chests with their rewards. The more bosses they defeat, the more treasure awaits them.

The rewards are Solstice Packages, which need Solstice Key Fragments in order to be opened. These Solstice Key Fragments are earned from completing any activities during Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019. Inside the packages players can receive rare and legendary gear, Enhancement Cores, and Materials.

Once players have earned their Legendary Solstice Armor they will earn additional armor from Solstice Packages. This gives players access to the EV-37 Voidstreak Sparrow.

Sparrow

Upgrading Armor

As with Solstice of Heroes last year, players will need to upgrade their Solstice Armor from its Drained state, which is Common, to the Renewed state, which is rare. Completing the upgrade process from here will award the Majestic Armor set, which is legendary. Each armor piece will have an objective to complete in order to upgrade it, with a final set of objectives for Masterworking the whole armor set.

Solstice_Gear

As a little incentive to push, and really grind to earn the Legendary armor sets for this event, Bungie have said that this will be the first armor set that you can pick up from the Gunsmith to use as part of Armor 2.0 when Shadowkeep launches. This is very big news for Destiny 2 players, but if someone doesn’t reach the legendary armor set, then they’ll miss out on having this armor moving forward in the game.

Eververse

Additional items will also be available during Solstice of Heores 2019 from the premium store, Eververse. Instead of event Engrams, like with every other event, Solstice of Heroes 2019 will just have all premium items available for direct purchase for either Bright Dust, or Silver. In addition to these items, players can purchase Armor Glows, which will provide the effect in the following image for as long as the player wears the armor.

Solstice_Gear_Glow

Solstice of Heroes 2019 looks to be the best version of the event yet. However, the grind for armor could prove to be too much for casual players.

Buying all GTA Online Casino Items Will Cost $800 of Real World Money

One modder has uncovered the real world cost of buying all the Grand Theft Auto Online casino items from the game’s latest update, $800. This is the total cost for purchasing everything in the latest update, Grand Theft Auto Online The Diamond Casino and Resort.

The most recent update to GTA Online added a host of new features to the game, and finally made use of the Vinewood Casino location after six years of it being empty and surrounded by rumors. The casino offers many different items to players, from memberships, to chips, and even an apartment.

The cost of a basic casino membership is $500 in in-game money, while the VIP membership costs $50,000. Both of these items could be purchased with a Red Shark Card, an add-on for GTA Online that costs $2.99 in real world cash. While these seem fairly reasonable, the total cost of buying all the new items is substantially more.

A GTA Online modder, UnknownModder, posted their findings of how much all of the new GTA Online casino items would cost in in-game cash, bringing the total to $63,548,081. This total cost is made up of six categories, which are as follows:

  • Casino and Styles etc – $8,884,500
  • Clothes – $14,427,759
  • Decorations – $7,279,490
  • Tattoos – $1,598,820
  • Vehicles – $28,030,250
  • Vehicle mods – $3,326,762

This totals around $63.5 million, which equates to $800 at the best in-game money value purchases available. This is based on the cost of in-game Shark Cash Cards, and the best way to purchase the $64 million required for buying all the GTA Online casino items is with Megalodon Cash Cards, which give you $8 million in-game cash. Buying enough of these would cost you $799.92 in real world cash, which has then been rounded up to $800.

A caveat to these figures is that while it’s possible to purchase all of the items in GTA Online’s new casino update, you can’t actually have multiple Casino Styles at once, and you probably wouldn’t be buying every item of clothing for men and women because your character can only be either male or female.

It’s possible for players to gamble their way to this level of in-game cash of course, though in certain countries the minigames in the casino have been banned due to gambling.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Team Bonuses List for Every Character

While most guides for the game will simply tell you to wing it with team bonuses and figure them out on your own, we’ve got the best Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 team bonuses list for you right here. The list details the combinations of every hero, all available teams, and the best combinations for particular stats.

Over on the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order Subreddit, one player, Nebulous_Journeyman, has created the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 team bonuses list for the game out of sheer frustration. In their words, “one does simply not wing it.” Nebulous_Journeyman found it impossible to get a good idea of what different team combinations offered in terms of bonuses for players in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, so they made their own program to work it all out using math.

Mercifully we have a link to the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 bonuses list Google Sheet that Nebulous_Journeyman has made. We’ve also made the document in its current state available to you here: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3_ Team bonus analysis. However, we would suggest using the Google Sheet link first, and only look at our static version of the document if it has been made unavailable for some reason. We ask this because Nebulous_Journeyman is going to continue updating the Google Sheet as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 sees new characters and updates in the future. While the static version of the document we have here may be accurate in some ways forever, it won’t be completely accurate forever.

The Google Sheet has two tabs that offer different information. The first tab, Just the Best!, contains team combinations for particular stats, or total stats. Each combination’s stat can be identified by the bold stat in the columns following it. This tab is great if you’re looking to create the team that deals the most bonus damage, or just a team that’s geared towards Strength or Vitality.

The second tab in the Google Sheet, All Unique Teams, is simply a list of all the possible team combinations in the game. As you can imagine, with a roster as big as the one in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, this is a hefty tab to run. This tab is good just for seeing what a team combination would look like in terms of stats, for when you’re sat around thinking about the game even though you’re not playing it. The best part about this being a Google Sheet is that it almost looks like work, so you can view it in basically any situation without being questioned.

A couple of updates have been made to the Google Sheet since it was made, and these are active now. The first is that Thanos is included in there. The second is that Loki and Magneto are also now in there, because all three weren’t originally due to an error with the document.

Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019 Datamine Reveals Quests and More

Over on Reddit one user, JpDeathBlade, has posted a list of datamined information for Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019. The event is scheduled to begin on July 30 2019, but this datamine reveals almost all of the content for it a week before it’s even begun.

During Solstice of Heroes players take part in revamped versions of missions from Destiny 2 in order to celebrate their victories for Humanity. These missions also allow players to upgrade some new armour for the event, which is usually slightly above the current Power Level limit.

Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019 will take place between July 30 and August 27 2019, and more information on it isn’t due out until tomorrow. JpDeathBlade emphasises that this data could be subject to change, and may even be planted by Bungie in an effort to get one over on dataminers, but for now the following is all of the information found on Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019 datamined info.

Quests

Opener:

The event begins with Eva Levante in the Tower. She will be in her usual spot next to Ikora. She will give you the drained armor set:

  • Eva is glad to see you. She congratulates your contributions to the defense of the City, then tells you that this year’s Solstice is special—Ikora, along with a small group of Warlocks, have come up with an unusual surprise… but she’s not spilling the secret. You’ll have to go see for yourself.
  • As you finish your exploration of the Aerial Zone, Ghost receives a message from Eva herself. She’d like to speak to you at your earliest convenience.
  • “Isn’t it a marvelous idea!” Eva exclaims as you approach. “An island in the sky. My goodness. When I was a little girl, I read stories about such things, but you Guardians can actually make them real.”

This will take you to the European Aerial Zone to run through the event for your first time:

  • Ghost receives coordinates to a literal floating island somewhere off the coast of the Winding Cove in the European Dead Zone. It’s been cheekily dubbed “The European Aerial Zone,” and apparently it’s an excellent place to perform combat drills and meditate.

Afterwards you will return to Eva and she will reward you with the Drained Armor Set and ask you to Meditate:

  • She sighs, sobering as she offers you a gift: a set of ruined armor from the Red War. “But of course, the Solstice is more than just floating islands. Take this armor to the Statue of Heroes, dear. Try to think about everyone who came before you, everyone who made it possible to stand here in this Tower today”
  • Eva has suggested you take the drained armor she’s given you and meditate with it at the Statue of Heroes in the Tower courtyard.
  • Meditating at the statue has infused your new armor with the Light but its connection to the Traveler could be made stronger.
  • You tell Eva about your meditation. She nods. “The greatest thing we can do to honor those we’ve lost is to live well and be our best selves. Take that armor. Go out into the world. Reforge it. Make it into a symbol of something strong and proud and beautiful.”

Upgrading Armor

Each armor set has a slew of objectives that you need to complete in order to upgrade the armor set. I’ve listed them below. Here are the quest steps:

  • ngthen your Drained Solstice armor set’s connection to the Light by completing armor objectives.
  • With your completed Drained Solstice armor set equipped, return to the Statue of Heroes to meditate.
  • Strengthen your Renewned Solstice armor set’s connection to the Light by completing armor objectives.
  • With your completed Renewed Solstice armor set equipped, return to the Statue of Heroes to meditate.

There’s also a line that calls the Statue of Heroes the “Statue of Triumph”. A misspelling probably, like Renewed is in the line above.

Finding Your Voice

There’s a few quests that involve our Guardians talking, or at least, there’s text that says that we talk. I’ve only recently started keeping a database of all the subtitles/audio files in the game so I can’t see if anything new has been added but I’ll have more info when the next patch goes live.

  • Your voice moves as a whisper, murmuring inside larger winds. Only the trusted few can absorb what is necessary.
  • Wise and sly and perfect, your instructions drop, leaving nothing but the hard sweet rime of enlightenment.
  • The best voices, voices that truly matter, never allow themselves be heard. This lesson is worth learning again and again. Forever.
  • Your voice is unleashed.

The quest names seem to make a sentence: From the Ashes… A New Flame… Kindles to Life… And Lights the Way… Into the Future.

The last one gives a reward from Eva Levante. It’s a consumable that all the Solstice Bounties also give which I’ll talk about below.

UPDATE: Looks like these text strings have been in Destiny before in the Grimoire Card Ghost Fragment: Moon.

Ghost Quotes

  • “I’m glad I didn’t lose you.” – Ghost
  • “There’s got to be a joke here. How many Warlocks does it take to make an island float?” – Ghost
  • “The Red War feels like yesterday, sometimes. I wonder whose armor this was.” – Ghost
  • “I’m hearing a lot of comms chatter about some kind of floating island in the European Dead Zone. Wonder if it has anything to do with the Solstice.” – Ghost
  • “She sounds really excited. I think it’s nice that she gets so excited.” – Ghost

Empowerment

Defeat enemies with a Super or elemental weapon attack to create Elemental Orbs. Collecting Elemental Orbs that match the element of the day grants you Empowerment.

European Aerial Zone

The Vanguard is dispatching Guardians to the EAZ for combat drills and meditation. Join them.

We got our first glimpse at the EAZ in the Season of Opulence Trailer posted May 28th, 2019. In the trailer, at around 20 seconds, we can see 5 Guardians fighting Cabal in a new area. This seems like the activity will be a six player matchmade event.

The EAZ is made up of 7 different zones:

  • Meditation Grounds
  • Ruin
  • Town
  • Factory
  • Mall
  • Garage
  • Courtyard

Each day a different energy will fill the air and allow you to become Empowered:

  • Solar energies blast through the EAZ, filling the air with the smell of sunbaked earth
  • Arc energies crackle through the EAZ, filling the air with the smell of ozone
  • Void energies pulse through the EAZ, filling the air with the smell of potential

While these are active, you can run similar energies to generate orbs:

  • Equip your Solar subclass and weapons to generate Solar orbs, then collect them to become Solar Empowered. While empowered, Guardians emit a burning wave of energy
  • Equip your Arc subclass and weapons to generate Arc orbs, then collect them to become Arc Empowered. While empowered, Guardians emit an electrifying wave of energy
  • Equip your Void subclass and weapons to generate Void orbs, then collect them to become Void Empowered. While empowered, Guardians emit a searing wave of energy

The event strings make it seem like it will be almost like a solo Gambit match. With multiple bosses/waves for the player to kill within a time limit:

  • Time remaining
  • Target neutralized
  • Progress
  • Eliminate minibosses
  • Defeat all bosses

Each wave is filled with Cabal, and they get get reinforcements:

  • An Engineer arrives to support the Cabal
  • A Mosquito arrives to support the Cabal

There seems to also be a High Value Target, called a Prismatic Taken, that spawns as well:

  • Hunt for Prismatic Taken
  • A Prismatic Taken is roaming nearby
  • The Prismatic Taken has escaped
  • Defeat Prismatic Taken hiding near the [ZONE NAME].
  • Prismatic Taken Centurion
  • Prismatic Taken Knight
  • Prismatic Taken Captain

And possibly waves that aren’t about killing bosses, but opening hidden chests:

  • Hidden chests
  • Chests looted
  • Hidden chests will appear throughout the area when the timer runs out. Get ready to look for them
  • Search for hidden chests as time allows
  • Something secret is hidden nearby

Enemies

I’ve got a list of enemy names you can view here. I’m not sure which ones are from which event, but they are all new to the game. All the boss names for EAZ should be in here, if anyone wants to dig through that. My best guess is the Uprooted enemyes and some Unbowed Legion fellas. And who is “Ir Abassin, Broodlost”?

Solstice Packages

Solstice Packages are sealed packages containing untold treasures from the European Aerial Zone. To open them you need to combine them with Solstice Key Fragments. There is a consumable that is rewarded by Eva and the Solstice Bounties which will aid in this called a Fragment Magnet. This consumable item attracts Solstice Key Fragments at an alarming rate. Use at your own risk. It looks like this might be mixed in with a questline as well with “Key to Power” and “The Treasure Hunt”

UPDATE: Thanks to /u/Ginsor for reaching out. This item is a “Solstice Key Fragment”. Looks like you can get some from Tess as well.

The remaining two Triumphs for the Solstice Seal are:

  • Obtain the complete Majestic Solstice of Heroes 2019 armor set
  • Masterwork any piece of Majestic Solstice armor

Solar Week

There are a few lines about Solar Week that I mentioned in my last post but I want to hit on them again here:

…has swept the system, imbuing all Guardians with enhanced Solar energy. In response, Lord Saladin has declared a week of celebration.

  • Many Solar subclass paths have been refreshed and improved. Visit bungie.net for more details.
  • Many Tower vendors are offering bounties to Solar-wielders. Complete them in style by participating in Solar Singe activities.
  • New Solar-themed emotes are now available at the Eververse store.

I’ve been keeping track of different events in the game and Iron Banner seems to run just about every FOUR weeks. With Iron Banner starting tomorrow, this would suggest that Solar Week will run along side the last Iron Banner of the Season. If my guessing is correct that should be August 20th, the last week of Solstice of Heroes.

Go now, relive your glory. And friend? Have a happy Solstice!

I want to say a huge thank you to the people who put all of this together, as a hardcore Destiny 2 player this is super interesting. We already knew a little about Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019 because we’ve played it before. Last year we had armor that needed to be upgraded by playing revamped versions of old missions, wearing said armor. The armor starts out at a really low Power Level, making these missions even harder, but as each piece is upgraded they get better and more viable to use in the game.

The steps to upgrade the armor look like they’re similar to last year, but what stands out to me is the Majestic Armor. I’ve seen this mentioned as part of Moments of Triumph 2019 for Destiny 2, but I don’t know what it is. Here it’s theorised that it’s a reward, but for what? Maybe once you’ve Masterworked every bit of the armor for Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2019, you get this unique armor to signify how well you performed. With Armor 2.0 coming to Destiny 2 with Shadowkeep, we’ll be able to use the armor as an ornament, and keep the look of it to show off to all players in the future. I personally think that’s where we’re going with this, but maybe there’s something more.

Report: GTA Online New Content Banned in Certain Countries Due to Gambling

In case you didn’t know, Grand Theft Auto 5 got a big update today that introduces a lot of new content in GTA Online, including a casino that actually allows players to gamble real world money in return for in-game currency.     While a lot of you might already be enjoying the in-game casino and whatever entertainment it brings, it seems not everyone is able to experience the GTA Online new content — and it’s not by choice.

Over on the Grand Theft Auto Online subreddit, user SlapshotTommy has compiled a list of the countries that are known to be anti-gambling, and as such, they won’t be able to experience the new content. Important to note: the players that are playing the banned countries list can see the casino and such, but they cannot interact at all based on the feedback players have posted so far.

Here’s the list of known countries and how their anti-gambling bans work. Some don’t allow online and land-based gambling, while others are OK with online gambling, and so on.

  • Afghanistan
  • Algeria
  • American Samoa
  • Argentina
  • Azerbaijan
  • Bahamas
  • Bhutan
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Belarus
  • Cambodia – gambling is illegal for natives, but land-based gambling is legal for foreign visitors
  • Cayman Islands – land-based gambling is illegal, and online local casinos are banned, whereas foreign slots are not
  • China
  • Cuba
  • Cyprus – online sports betting ok with a license
  • Czech Republic – majority of online gambling is illegal (except online lottery and online sports betting)
  • Greece – some online gambling is illegal
  • Iceland – online casino gambling and online poker illegal – offline gambling is legal
  • Indonesia
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Israel
  • Jordan
  • Kuwait
  • Lebanon
  • Libya
  • Luxembourg – illegal online other than sports betting and online lottery
  • Maldives
  • Mali – only legal for foreign visitors
  • Mauritania
  • Malta
  • Malaysia
  • North Korea
  • Oman
  • Pakistan
  • Peru
  • Poland – everything but online sports betting is illegal
  • Portugal
  • Qatar
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Singapore
  • Somalia
  • South Africa – online gambling is illegal
  • South Korea
  • Sudan
  • Syria
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand – everything but Horse Racing and the Government Lotto
  • Turkey – everything but online sports betting and online lottery is illegal
  • Tuvalu
  • United Arab Emirates
  • United States – Some, See below
  • Vietnam
  • Venezuela

States in the USA were the DLC may not work:

  • Hawaii – full gambling ban – needs confirmed

The same post mentions that there is a chance that this depends on the lobby host, stating, “One thing to consider potentially, it might depend on the lobby host. Since the game works Peer to Peer if you are connected to someone with banned gambling laws it may appear to not work for you. Hence, I’ve been asking some users in countries to try in solo / invite only sessions.”

Unsurprisingly, some ingenious players have resorted to using VPNs ( Virtual private network )  to bypass this restriction to play the new content. So far multiple PC players have confirmed that this does grant access to all the gambling activities in this update. Console players should be able to change their internet settings from their console so it can connect to a VPN, but of course you’ll need a PC to be able to achieve that. This method though has yet to be confirmed as working by anyone on console, and of course, as other users have mentioned, this VPN trick might result in bans or legal consequences from Rockstar or even your own country’s government, so proceed with caution if and when you’re doing this, alright?

Second Ghost Recon Breakpoint Technical Test Info Detailed by Ubisoft

Ubisoft revealed official details today about its second Ghost Recon Breakpoint technical test, and mentions it’s taking place this weekend from July 25 to July 29. The test takes place across all platforms for a random number of people who register for the beta on the official site, and it includes a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

The news states that the purpose of the test is to, ” test online functions and live operations within Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint gathering valuable feedback from players that will ensure the best and smoothest experience at launch.” Only a portion of the game will be made available, and the publisher warned that it is not representative of the final product.

Our primary focus is to polish our online and connection services with this build, not the content. There will be bugs and visual elements that are work-in-progress in this Online Technical Test.

The official beta, available to all who pre-order the game, begins on Sept. 5, 2019. For a list of details on the NDA, read the full page here.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint launches on Oct.4, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and will include a competitive PvP mode when the  game releases. The game also includes endgame raids, seasonal updates, new events, and gear.

Battlefield 5 Next Update Hitting for This Thursday, Another One Scheduled for Next Week

It seems DICE’s plans to release the Battlefield 5 next update this week is indeed coming true. DICE posted an update on the update (wha?), and announced that the Battlefield 4.2 update (yes, this is officially what they’re calling it), will be out this Thursday, and it will be both a client and server update, which means downtime on the servers are happening.

The full patch notes for the next Battlefield 5 update hitting Thursday will be shared tomorrow, though that’s not the only news regarding upcoming patches for the game. DICE has also shared that yet another, much smaller, Battlefield 5 upcoming update will be released next week, with the sole purpose of enabling the Marita map. If you’re worried that Marita imght become another Al Sundan situation, don’t. DICE has already shared that there will be a focused playlist for Marita that will rotate between the Conquest, and Breakthrough game modes (two rounds, one as Attacker, and one as Defender).

Finally, also part of the announcement today, DICE has also shared that they will be extending Rush through to the start of the Marita playlist!

For those looking for any Al Sundan Conquest news, bad luck! There’s still no word on when we’ll actually be able to play Conquest on the map, and it has all to do with that artifacting issue DICE has yet to fix.

Once the full patch notes are released tomorrow, we’ll let our readers know.

Anthem Store Update July 23 2019 – Prospero Items List

Today’s Anthem store update brings a host of different wraps, vinyls, and materials with which to decorate your Javelins, all available from Prospero. When the store refreshes it gives Anthem players the opportunity to customise their Javelins to a degree that they may never achieve without a little help from BioWare’s own wraps. Todays Anthem store update can be seen below, read on for more information on what is available.

featured-items-in-anthem-store-refresh-for-july-23-2019

Wraps

The Brotherhood: 40,000 Coin or 650 Shards – This Wrap’s default look makes it appear like a Red Arrow jet, but the customisation options look as deep as any other. The decoration on the Ranger faceplate looks particularly cool.

Tiger’s Eye: 61,000 Coin or 850 Shards – This Wrap needs very little explanation, except for the fact that it’s colour scheme is neon. I really like the design, and I don’t think it’s possible to create anything remotely Tiger-like without a Wrap such as Tiger’s Eye, so it’s well worth a purchase.

Materials

Rubber: Scales | 5,000 Coins or 175 Shards – This Material is uncommon, so there’s a very good chance that you’ve already earned it. However, the Rubber Scales are really useful when trying to recreate a very specific look on your Javelin, such as superheroes like Thor or Black Panther. If you’re into creating those designs then this is worth buying.

Fabric: Tactical Camo 1 | 12,000 Coin or 300 Shards – Tactical Camo is always cool, and this fabric is no exception. You need this if you’re at all considering some sort of Javelin customisation, trust me.

Arrival

Failed Flip (Interceptor): 18,000 Coin or 400 Shards – This Arrival is one of those classics that are just hilarious. You might remember it from early BioWare streams of the game. I suggest picking it up.

Decal

Spike Horror: 6,000 Coin or 200 Shards – It’s hard to judge a Decal before you’ve seen it on your Javelin, I understand that. However, this one looks pretty incredible, with a Game of Thrones feel that only Daenerys could get away with.

That’s all the refreshed items in Prospero’s store this week. Make sure you pick something up so you can dive into the Anthem pre-Cataclysm content looking your best. For more on Anthem stick with MP1ST.

Fortnite Update 2.29 Patch Notes and File Sizes Now Live

Epic Games has released a surprise patch for Fortnite, and it’s Fortnite v9.41! The Fornite update 2.29 patch notes and file size are now live (it’s tagged as 2.29 on PS4). Clocking in at 2.4GB on PS4 (some have reported theirs to only be at 700+MB), there should be no downtime for this small download.

Fortnite update 2.29 patch notes:

According to Epic, this Fortnite update is to fix issues in Creative and on iOS. For now, no further details have been shared. Once they do, we’ll update the post. We are expecting the introduction of a new weapon in Battle Royale mode, and that’s the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle.

The big issue here is, this Fortnite update might cause an issue with replays, so players are encouraged backing up their cool plays and moves before downloading and installing it. We said “might” as Epic has said that ALL v9.40 replays are once again watchable.

Stay tuned for more Fortnite news here on MP1st! Check out the Fortnite tag page to see all the new updates and stories we post.
