PUBG vs Fortnite? NFL Star JJ Watt Provokes Battle Royale War

While both games do the whole battle royale thing pretty differently — PUBG is more hardcore and realistic, while Fortnite is cartoony and has building mechanics — both titles are insanely popular, and have built large communities of dedicated fans. And so it’s easy to see why arguments would break out over which game is better, even among grown adults.

One of the most grown adults out there is NFL star JJ Watt, who has provoked a little Twitter war with a poll asking “PUBG vs Fortnite?”

At the time of writing, Fortnite is leading with 75 percent, with PUBG struggling at just 25. There’s been 38,000 votes so far, with eight hours left to vote.

Do you think Fortnite deserves to win so decisively? Or does PUBG deserve a comeback? Let us know.

In other Fortnite news, Epic Games is slowing down the development of Paragon to focus on Fortnite, here’s the latest community stats showcase, and the 1.43 update has now rolled out with patch notes ready for you to view.

In an interview with Metro UK, the Call of Duty movie director, Stefano Sollima, revealed that his top picks for leads in the upcoming film are Tom Hardy and Chris Pine.

Regarding Tom Hardy, Stefano said, “I mean, I like almost everything [he’s been in]. I’m waiting for his Venom. Even in Mad Max, he was great.”

As for Chris Pine, Stefano thinks, “He’s tough, but he’s smart and he can have a sense of humour but he can [also] be in such a dramatic role,’ the director explained. ‘I like when you feel that an actor can play with different nuances and tone because this means they’re a good actor.”

Would you want to see Tom Hardy and Chris Pine taking lead roles in the upcoming Call of Duty movie? Let us know.

Battlefront II 1.2 Update Patch Notes Released, Big Gameplay Changes & More

It’s looking like it’s going to be a glorious Monday for Star Wars Battlefront 2 fans! The new Battlefront 2 1.2 update is now live, across all platforms, bringing huge changes to the game.

In addition to the improvements listed below, there are now three new Hero appearances available for a limited time. These are the Hoth outfits for Luke, Leia, and Han.

Here’s the full list of Battlefront 2 1.2 update patch notes:

Heroes and Villains Balancing:

Boba Fett

We’ve made a substantial change to the way Boba Fett’s jet pack feels when flying. We think you’re going to love the increased maneuverability! Furthermore, we improved his efficiency at distance with the EE-3. Previously, it could be frustrating to try to shoot with the EE-3’s high dispersion, especially while flying. As a result, we improved the EE-3 in a few areas and we hope this will combine with the jetpack changes to make Boba Fett even more fun to use on the battlefront.

  • Jet Pack – Jet Pack controllability improved
  • EE-3 – Reduced the minimum dispersion angle from 0.6 to 0.4
  • EE-3 – Reduced the maximum dispersion angle from 1.2 to 0.8
  • EE-3 – Increased End Damage from 20 to 25
  • Increased damage drop-off start distance from 15 to 20 meters

Iden Versio

We’ve heard your feedback that Iden’s Droid Stun was very difficult to predict. We’ve made it much snappier and feel this should be a significant improvement to Iden, even though the droid’s damage has been slightly reduced.

  • Fixed an issue where Iden’s Droid Stun didn’t give damage on the first attack
  • Droid Stun – Reduced the time between the ability activation and shock
  • Reduced the damage from 40 to 50

Bossk

Bossk’s Relby V-10 had a somewhat awkwardly high recoil. We reduced it a bit while adjusting the animation to make it feel more responsive. We also reduced the damage output of the Explosive Traps as we felt it was a bit too high. The Multi-Trap Star Card values were incorrect and the Epic Star Card could increase the radius of the damage past what was listed on the card. This unintentionally lead to Bossk having very high AoE damage.

  • Relby V-10 – Reduced recoil from 5 to 2.2
  • Explosive Traps – Reduced damage from 80 to 76 per trap
  • Multi-Trap – Fixed the Blast Damage Radius to fit the star cards numbers

Rey

Rey’s signature Ability Insight had an incredible range and could go as far as 75 meters when paired with certain Star Cards. This was a bit too much and we’ve decided to reduce it drastically. We’ll monitor how this change affects Rey’s performance.

  • Mind Control – Reduced Mind Control radius from 20 to 18 meters
  • Insight – Reduced Insight radius from 50 to 30
  • Far Sight – Reduced bonus by 10% (now 10, 20, 30, 40%)

Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren had two of his Abilities on a 25 second timer, effectively making him less efficient and fun to play than other characters. As such, we reduced the cooldown for Pull and Freeze. We also felt he needed some damage absorption while being close to his targets, so we gave him some while Frenzy is active.

  • Pull – Reducing Pull recharge time from 25 to 20 seconds
  • Freeze – Reducing Freeze recharge time from 25 to 24 seconds
  • Frenzy – Kylo Ren now has 40% damage absorption while Frenzy is active

Luke Skywalker

We heard your wishes to have Luke traverse faster so we increased his sprint speed as much as possible without breaking the animation. Related to that update, we decided to push Luke more towards a “Hit & Run” game style. He’ll quickly jump into a skirmish and then bounce out to regain health before heading off for the next battle.

  • Increased Luke’s sprint speed by .6 meters/second
  • Increased Luke Health from 700 to 750
  • Increased Health Regeneration rate from 50 to 110
  • Decreased Regeneration delay from 5 to 2.7
  • Decreased Max Regeneration amount from 250 to 200

Emperor Palpatine

Emperor Palpatine now requires line of sight on his target to trigger damage with his Dark Aura and default Lightning ability. Both abilities will no longer go through obstacles and walls. While we loved the fantasy fulfillment there, the frustration of not knowing what was damaging you was too high for us not to act on.

  • Lightning – Increased reach of the ability from 12 to 14 meters to compensate for the tighter collision check

Chewbacca

Chewbacca had one of the longest stun duration abilities in the game and it made him quite powerful. However, we wanted the stun to be a bit more tactical, so we reduced the duration.

  • Stun Grenade – Reduced the shock time from 1.6 to 1 second
  • Reduced Bowcaster side projectiles explosive damage from 25 to 21
  • Reduced furious Bowcaster side projectiles explosive damage from 12 to 10

Yoda

Yoda’s lightsaber attacks were very weak compared to all other lightsaber wielders, so we have increased his attack damage significantly to bring him on par with the others. Additionally, in an effort to make Yoda feel more true to character, we’ve made a change to his Barrier ability. It now will break immobilizing effects upon activation.

  • Lightsaber – Increased damage from 80 to 115
  • Barrier – Added the functionality to break out of immobilizing effects on activation
  • Unleash – Increased energy holding time from 0.7 to 0.9 seconds
  • Unleash – Increased angle from 40 to 45 degrees.
  • Unleash – Increased first tier damage from 100 to 110, second tier damage from 125 to 130, third tier damage from 150 to 160, and fourth tier damage from 175 to 190

Lando Calrissian

We felt that Lando needed a boost to increase his effectiveness against lightsaber users. The best tool he had against them had a 25-second cooldown. To combat this, we significantly reduced the cooldown of Disruptor and of Smoke Grenade.

  • Disruptor – Reduced recharge time of disruptor from 25 to 19 seconds
  • Smoke Grenade – Reduced recharge time from 15 to 14 seconds

Darth Vader

We changed how Choke works in order to simplify comprehension for the player that is Darth Vader and for their target. In an effort to also make Darth Vader more “tanky” we granted him a health bonus when activating Focused Rage.

  • Focused Rage – Vader now receives 200 temporary bonus health when activating the Focused Rage ability
  • Reduced max health from 900 to 800

Captain Phasma

We took notice of your feedback regarding the utility of Captain Phasma’s staff. We are improving it so that it feels faster and more fluid when used.

  • Staff Strikes – Increased the animation speed of the ability
  • Staff Strikes – Increased the transition speed between each strike
  • Increased how quickly Captain Phasma can use her blaster after performing a Staff Strike

Heroes and Villains Bug Fixes:

  • Lightsaber closers are deactivated while blinded
  • Fixed an issue where you would be in a “stun” state forever.
  • The maximum stun duration is now 5 seconds
  • Boba Fett – Fixed an issue that prevented Boba Fett from using his Jetpack ability when “For the Hunt” was activated while his Jetpack fuel was depleted
  • Luke Skywalker – Epicenter – The ability will now deal the proper amount of damaged when used
  • Yoda – Feel the Force – Edited the description of this ability to make it clear that all friendlies will receive a health bonus when used
  • Yoda – Enduring the Force – This ability will now apply the proper amount of bonus time
  • Yoda – Master of the Force – This ability will no longer damage players inconsistently and only when released at maximum power
  • Finn – Deadeye – The targeting crosshair should be properly removed after the ability has been used

Classes, Special Units, & Infantry Combat:

The Dodge ability has been proven to be too powerful, which was not our initial intent. Dodging granted far too many benefits like damage reduction, the inability to transition into a hit animation, ignoring lightsaber damage, and the inability to be targeted by lightsaber closers.

In order to handle this, we added an “unstaggerable” window during a set period of time when you dodge. You will still receive the same benefits during that window, but now you have a narrow time in which to gain those benefits. Now you’ll need to time your rolls better and predict attacks. While testing these changes, we feel good with the results so far and we really hope that you do too. This is a change that we will monitor closely.

  • All Classes – Fixed an issue on Blaster Rifles and the S-5, weapons that can be toggled with a high zoom level through Dual Zoom, where the scope glint would always appear when zooming. It now only appears when the dual zoom scope is equipped and toggled to its highest magnification level.
  • All Troopers have now received two default emotes.
  • Reduced the time it takes until you can shoot after executing a melee attack
  • Assault – Vanguard Shotgun – Lowered start damage per bullet from 14 to 12
  • Assault – CR2 – Fixed an issue with inconsistent Super Success triggers compared to other blasters
  • Heavy – Supercharged Sentry – Reverted the heat per bullet tweak made for 1.1 patch, from 0.17 to 0.15
  • Officer – Blurrg-1120 – Lowered start damage from 37 to 35 and end damage from 20 to 16

Milestones:

Milestones are now claimed automatically upon completion! Furthermore, we changed how Milestones and Challenges are sorted. Now, all completed items are on the bottom of the Career tab and we sort the active items by the amount left until completion.

  • “Making an Impression” – Changed criteria from 25 to 10 kills
  • “Starting Heavy Training” – Changed criteria from 10,000 to 2,500 score
  • “Stay True” – Changed criteria from 40 to 20 kills
  • “Starting Assault Training” – Criteria changed from “Get 5000 Assist Score with Scan Dart” to “50 Targets Scanned”

Location Design Balance Changes:

  • Kamino – Phase 1 and 3 in Galactic Assault has been made easier for attackers
  • Tatooine – In Phase 1 of Galactic Assault we adjusted spawn points, added cover, and tweaked the out of bounds area to make this phase easier for attackers
  • Hoth – In Phase 2 of Galactic Assault we adjusted spawn points to prevent players from being targeted by the AT-AT
  • Naboo – Phase 2 of Galactic Assault has had balance tweaks
  • Endor – Galactic Assault has extended the fallback timer from 30 to 45 seconds before the attackers’ spawn points are moved forward

Location Design Bug Fixes:

  • Jakku – Fixed an issue in Galactic Assault where the out of bounds warning message would not trigger correctly under certain conditions
  • Jakku – Tweaked the combat area on Jakku in Galactic Assault in order to prevent an exploit where players could circle around the map with the AT-ST
  • Jakku – Fixed several collision issues
  • Endor – Fixed a bug in Galactic Assault that caused the Endor AT-AT Orbital Strike to break
  • Endor – Fixed a bug in Strike where players could spawn outside the combat area
  • Crait – Added delay before attacker spawns are moved forward in Galactic Assault
  • Crait – Fixed several collision issues
  • Takodana – Fixed a bug in Galactic Assault that prevented the First Order AT-ST from being available in Phase 1
  • Hoth – Fixed a bug in Galactic Assault that prevented players from passing through doors when retreating during the last Phase
  • Kashyyyk – Fixed an issue where players could get stuck between containers
  • Kamino – Mobility improvements on platform ledges
  • Yavin 4 – Fixed an issue where Boba Fett could reach restricted areas
  • Fixed an issue where grenades could fall through the floor on Naboo and Kashyyyk
  • Fixed various collision issues across all locations
  • Fixed issues where players could get outside the intended play areas of various locations
  • Fixed an issue where AI units would move through objects in Arcade
  • Fixed an issue where environmental fire damage would not cause high enough damage to players standing in it

General Improvements and Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where players would not receive credits for duplicate star cards – Players who encountered this issue previously will retroactively be awarded with the proper amounts of credits over time.
  • Increased Credit payout for duplicate items
    – Common – From 200 to 300
    – Uncommon – From 400 to 600
    – Rare – From 800 to 900
    – Epic – From 1200 to 3600
  • Increased the glow of blaster bolts to make them look more vibrant
  • Increased the dismemberment probability of the B1 Battle Droids from 20% to 40%
  • Reduced the stretched bloom effect for a clearer image
  • Improved the glow, thickness, and lighting of lightsabers
  • U-Wing – when firing from the gunner position, the gun, muzzle flash, and blaster bolt are now shown properly
  • Fixed an issue where the camera would enter a bad state when being the target of Darth Vader’s Choke
  • End of Round – Fixed an issue where the map would sometimes overlap with the intro video in Starfighter Assault
  • Fixed an issue where the wrong loading screen would be seen when loading a level
  • Fixed an issue where some menu options would disappear under certain conditions
  • Fixed an issue where the camera would stutter when spawning in with a Hero in Custom Arcade
  • Fixed an issue where the AT-RT Repair ability did not work correctly
  • Fixed an issue where players would not get the “Heroic Sacrifice” scoring event when defeated by a Hero
  • Fixed an issue where Darth Vader would not take any damage from Luke Skywalker’s Push ability if standing near a wall
  • Fixed an issue where the AAT would take too much damage when colliding with surrounding objects
  • Fixed an issue where Turrets and Grenades could inflict damage after the round ended
  • Fixed an issue where players would not receive Score for grenade kills made after their character had died
  • Fixed an issue where a friendly First Order AT-ST showed up as an enemy on radar
  • Fixed an issue where players could survive when knocked down from a platform in Heroes vs Villains
  • Fixed an issue where players could equip class specific Star Cards to other classes
  • Tweaked the color-blind settings to make Squad members easier to distinguish on the minimap
  • Fixed an issue where Brawler boost card didn’t refresh some ability cards.
  • Fixed an issue where players could force respawn during the Heroes vs Villains intro sequence and respawn in a new location
  • Reduced the amount of Battle Points you received when attacking the objective on Crait with a Ski Speeder
  • Fixed an issue where the character would disappear on the client after combat rolls
  • Fixed an issue in the Campaign where the weapon HUD wouldn’t indicate when aiming at an enemy
  • Fixed an issue where AI troopers in Arcade would constantly melee attack each other
  • Fixed an issue where Assault troopers in Arcade would attempt to use the Scan Dart ability as a regular weapon
  • Various bug fixes in Arcade
  • Several performance and stability improvements
  • Fixed several localization issues
  • Various UI improvements and bug fixes

Known Issues:

  • Yoda does not break out of several immobilizing abilities when using Presence
  • Darth Vader’s Punishing Grip Star Card effect is not applied when Choke is used
  • Finn’s targeting marker from Dead Eye will sometimes persist after the ability effect has ended
  • Emperor Palpatine’s first basic and secondary attack deal no damage
  • Yoda’s Feel the Force Star Card description is incorrect
  • Yoda’s Master of the Force Star Card does not work as intended
  • Rey’s Mind Trick ability can affect players further than intended
  • Rey’s Far Sight Star Card is increasing Insight ability range more than specified in the Star Card
  • EL-16HFE scope glint does not appear with dual zoom equipped and is toggled to the highest magnification
  • If you open a crate that grants a duplicate item and it shows the old value for credits rewarded, you need to restart your game client. You did in fact get the new reward amount, but the client will show the old values in the UI until you restart the game.

Ubisoft: Rainbow Six Siege Sequel Not Planned, Here to Stay for 10 Years & More Future Details Shared

No Rainbow Six Siege sequel due to a 10-year plan.

Here’s something new: while most games these days have sequels being cooked even before the first entry is released, it seems Ubisoft’s super successful first-person shooter, Rainbow Six Siege, won’t be going the same route.

During the Six Invitational Finals panel earlier today, a lot of details were shared regarding the future of the franchise, and chief among the details shared was for fans to not expect a Rainbow Six Siege sequel! Here’s the summary of the four-hour video embedded below.

No sequel planned for Rainbow Six Siege. Active player-base still growing.
byu/URZ_ inGames

Notable things mentioned during the stream:

  • No sequel is planned. They literally said they were there to stay for 10 years, tho i’m not sure how literally that should be taken.
  • The active player-count is still growing, 27 million total players. (Might include people who played during free weekends)
  • 8 new operators are coming in Year 3. Goal is still hitting a 100 operators eventually.
  • Changes coming to the standard edition. You will now start with all 20 legacy (original) operators unlocked.
  • In the future all weapon attachments will be free and unlocked from the go.
  • The problem child that is starter edition will go from 4 free operators to 6.
  • They are adding new Data-centers in South Africa and South Europe.
  • Pick and Ban is coming for operators in Pro-league. Each side gets to ban 1 attacker and 1 defender for the whole map.
  • Pro-league will be 1 team attacking 5 times followed by the other team attacking 5 times.
  • They will be working hard on improving the Pro-league in general. They are first of all reworking the observation tool.
  • Some maps will be renovated and rebalanced. Bomb-mode will be the focus for map design. (Extremely good in my opinion.)
  • The map “Yacht” is coming back to casual.
  • The Map “Hereford” will be the first map to be reworked.
  • Every season (at least that is the goal. Changes will ship when ready) a map will receive a buff. Small changes that should help improve the meta on the map, mostly through improving specific objectives to make more bomb-sights viable.
  • First map to receive a buff is “Clubhouse”. Bar-room and Top floor will both be buffed. They are aiming for season 2 as the goal for completion.
  • Esports is there to stay.
  • Lan-competitions will happen. Dreamhack got name dropped but didn’t catch the context.

In other Rainbow Six Siege news, don’t forget to check out the latest video released by Ubisoft where we see the abilities of the new Operators in action.

Do you believe Ubisoft that no sequel is planned? Or is this a technically true since it won’t be called Rainbow Six Siege 2? Or maybe the game is still raking in a lot of dough that Ubisoft doesn’t even need to release one?

Report: Warcraft 3 Players Being Invited to an “Offline Event,” Announcement Said to Come “Soon”

Warcraft 4? Or maybe a Warcraft 3 remaster?

Warcraft players, something might be cooking at Blizzard Entertainment related to the franchise! According to Russian site GoodGame (via Wowhead), a bunch of Russian Warcraft 3 players are applying for US Visas for a “secret” Blizzard event!

Russian pro players Happy and HawK were reportedly in Serbia for the last couple of days trying to get a US Visa. Ukranian Warcraft 3 player Foggy was also said to be seen at the US Consulate in Kiev recently according to German forum Readmore, which adds credence to the recent happenings.

Here’s what Foggy has said to GoodGame regarding the upcoming event said to happen later this month:

The following information came from General Headquarters of “Emperor” Happy:

A little about the “surprise”.

While I can not disclose the details, I was allowed to hint. At the end of this month, there will be a certain offline event – what will be there is still a secret. Because this event will take place in the US – I will need to make a visa.

/…/

I can not reveal the big details yet. But I was told announcement soon.

– Happy

Is this for Warcraft 4? Maybe a Warcraft 3 remaster? A new spinoff? Given that pro players are going to lengths of obtaining a US Visa, then this could be big. Don’t forget though, no official word from Blizzard has made its way online, so take this with a grain of salt for now.

What would you want to see from Blizzard in terms of the Warcraft franchise?

New Rainbow Six Siege Operators Gameplay and Tips Revealed

New Rainbow Six Siege Operators get some love!

Just the other day, we mentioned that new details regarding the new Rainbow Six Siege Operators  — Finka and Lion — would be revealed soon along with gameplay. Well, “soon” is now, as Ubisoft has released a new trailer showcasing the abilities of the two Operators, and even some gameplay tips on how to use them.

We see Finka’s Adrenal Surge used to great effect. It can be used twice per round, the Adrenal Surge gives an additional health boost and can even revive downed (but not out) allies anywhere in the map! Too overpowered? You’ll see the drawbacks for the ability as well.

As for Lion, the dude has an indestructible aerial drone called the “EE1D” that can scan the entire map, and tag enemies wherever they are! This ability can be used three times per match, but gamers can avoid being tagged by not moving their feet. You can crouch in place, stand in place, and wait for the on-screen timer to be over.

Watch the abilities in action below.

Don’t forget, Rainbow Six Siege has a free trial going on right now for all platforms. Check out Finka and Lion’s loadouts here as well.

Which new Operator will you be trying out? Are the new abilities too much? Share your thoughts in the comments.

First Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC to Include Broly and Bardock

With Dragon Ball FighterZ now out into the wild, some players might be wondering which fighters are making the cut as Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC. Well, we have the answer for you now!

According to the latest issue of V-Jump, the first Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC will see the arrival of Broly and Bardock! Those not familiar with both, we’ve provided brief descriptions of each below.

Character descriptions via Dragonball Wikia.

Bardock (バーダック Bādakku) is a low-class Saiyan warrior, the husband of Gine, and the father of Raditz and Goku. He makes his debut as the main protagonist of the 1990 TV specialDragon Ball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku. Bardock’s childhood until his early years in adulthood is unknown, but he is shown to lead his own squad into battle, and they are very successful in accomplishing their assignments. He is an adept fighter and a devoted Saiyan Army soldier under Frieza’s Force, until he realizes that Frieza plans the annihilation of the Saiyan race.

Broly (ブロリー Burorī) is the main antagonist in Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan and Dragon Ball Z: Broly – Second Coming. He appears to be the latest of the Legendary Super Saiyans who appear every thousand years.[7] His father was Paragus.

Bear in mind that Bandai Namco has not made any official announcements, but given we usually find out stuff about these from Japanese-developed games from Famitsu and V-Jump, the chances of this news being legit is quite high.

Are you happy with the first Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC drop or should we have gotten different characters first?

CD Projekt Red Believes Loot Box Backlash Is “Good for the Industry”

Following The Witcher 3‘s success, CD Projekt Red has become recognized as a sort of “god-tier” developer. The studio delivered an incredible game, without implementing any nasty microtransactions. There was still paid-for expansions, but there were also free, smaller content drops. It was a system that gamers grew to love, and the game succeeded, at least in part, because of it.

In an interview with PC Gamer, CD Projekt Red’s co-founder, Marcin Iwinski, commented on the current controversies surrounding loot boxes and aggressive microtransactions:

The moment they feel you are reaching out for their wallet in any unfair way, they will be vocal about it. And—frankly speaking—I think it’s good for the industry … Things often look great from a spreadsheet perspective, but decision makers often aren’t asking themselves the question of ‘How would gamers feel, or is this offer a fair one?’. Gamers are striking back, and I really hope this will change our industry for the better.

Here’s hoping the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 follows the same anti-loot box and microtransactions strategy!

The Last of Us Part II Will Likely Feature Dogs

Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has tweeted a photo showing a dog outfitted with a motion capture suit. The tweet is captioned with “#YearOfTheDog”. With Druckmann now working on The Last of Us Part II, it’s hard not to take the photo as confirmation that the upcoming game will feature lovable canines… or infected, zombie beasties!

Of course, it’s possible that Druckmann is just hanging out with a random dog, that happens to be wearing a motion capture suit. Or, perhaps this is a shot taken in an entirely different studio. Either way, we’ll soon know more about the game, as E3 is fast approaching!

In other The Last of Us Part II news, gameplay will be shown during E3 2018, a new trailer asks more questions than it answers, and the game’s composer offers hints of a release date.

Monster Hunter World Tempered Quests How to Get Them and Here’s the Tempered Threat List

If you’re at the very end-game part of Monster Hunter World, chances are you’re farming for tempered monsters for the very best stuff. Unfortunately, once you’ve hit HR50, the game just throws you into the deep end of the Monster Hunter World tempered monsters pool without any direction on what to do next, where to go, and so on.

Fortunately for you, MP1st is here. Below are two videos that give players ways to snatch up some tempered Elder Dragon quests! First up is from YouTuber Mtashed who cites a Reddit user’s advice on not completing the HR49 quest in slaying a tempered Kirin. Instead of slaying that damn horse, it’s recommended that you farm the foosteps, electric fur, etc. first until you get new Investigations.

If you managed to finish the HR49 quest, or want something more natural, then YouTuber DuncanKneeDeep has you covered as well. Check out the video below where he gives a tour on where to farm tempered footprints and more in the Wildspire Waste.

Once you’ve gotten those, it’s now time to hunt! The Monster Hunter World tempered threat list below (via Raybunny)  lists which monsters fall into what threat level. Needless to say, the higher threat level the monster level is, the better the rewards. You want to slay the higher threat level ones but it’s easier said than done.

Get Titanfall 2 New for Less Than $5

If you still haven’t played Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2, then this is the perfect chance to try it! Newegg is selling the game at a super discounted price, and inputting the code “EMCPREU37” will drop the overall price of it to $4.50 brand new!

Best to hurry though, since the sale is on for only five more days, or until stocks last. Also of note, it seems this is only for the PS4 version of the game. For those wondering, yes, the PS4 version’s player base is still active so you shouldn’t have any issues finding matches for the main modes.

On Metacritic, Titanfall 2 is sitting at a super impressive 89 average for the PS4 version. Based on my personal experience, and having reached max regeneration (the game’s version of Prestige), I can vouch that the gameplay is top notch for both single-player, and the fast-paced multiplayer.

Go pick up, multiplayer fans! You won’t regret it. It also will give you a good grasp of the game’s universe and gameplay once Titanfall 3 drops.

PUBG Sales Now at Over 30 Million Units, But Player Numbers Continue to Drop

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has reached yet another new sales milestone as the game has now sold over 30 million copies to date! However, not everything is going well with the hit battle royale game.

For the second straight time, the PUBG concurrent player numbers have once again dipped. According to Steam Charts, the game has steadily been declining after hitting an all-time high of over three million concurrent players.

Mind, even with the massive drop, the PUBG concurrent player count dwarfs everything in comparison. Heck, compile the other games’ concurrent player total, and PUBG would still win.

Is this a case of PUBG hitting is cap in terms of players? Is the popularity of the game waning? What do you make of it?

In other PUBG news, Bluehole has mentioned that the early PUBG roadmap of 2018 will be revealed “soon.” And for those curious, the Xbox One version is still getting a ton of players, so yeah, the game won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Stardew Valley Multiplayer Beta Coming This Spring, Developer Hopes

In a blog post over on StardewValley.net, creator Eric Barone has confirmed that work on the Stardew Valley multiplayer features is now complete. Next on his to-do list is bug fixing, and then preparations for the Stardew Valley multiplayer beta can begin.

The Stardew Valley multiplayer beta has a target release date of spring, which Barone is hoping he can still hit.

Here’s the full update, in addition to a brand new screenshot:

Hi everyone,

Just want to give you a quick fill-in on the status of the new update.

As you may know, I’ve always worked solo on Stardew Valley. However, for this multiplayer update I’ve had the help of Tom Coxon (of Chucklefish). He’s done all the network coding to turn Stardew Valley into a multiplayer game… truly an impressive feat, and one that would not be possible without his talent. He deserves a lot of credit for this — Thank you Tom!

NOW, HERE’S WHERE WE’RE AT:

Work on the new features is done, and we’ve sent all the new text off to be translated into the different languages. Meanwhile, we are working on bug fixes. Once we’ve received the translated text and integrated it back into the game, we’ll begin a serious QA phase involving thorough testing of all new features in both multiplayer and single player contexts. When that is finished, the update should be ready for a public beta. I am still shooting for a spring release for the beta.

When the beta gets closer to launch, I’ll fill you guys in on more specifics as to how multiplayer will work, as well as a more complete list of the new features in the update.

I’ll also be sure to let you guys know as soon as we’ve determined a more concrete timetable for release.

For now, here’s a screenshot of the new signs in action:

Thanks so much everyone for your patience while we get this update ready. It’s really going to be a “game changer” for Stardew Valley!

Are you looking forward to finally being able to play Stardew Valley with other (real) people? Let us know!

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Complete Version to Cost $70 With All Characters, Full Price Breakdown Revealed

Just last month, we reported that Arc System Works’ (Dragon Ball FighterZ) upcoming fighting game BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle has half its roster tucked away as DLC, which you need to pay for to access.

Well, we now know how much the complete game would cost! According to Arc System Works, this is the pricing scheme for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle if you want to buy just the base game, how much each DLC pack costs, and how much the complete version would be.

  • Retail price for physical and digital: $49.99
  • Individual DLC packs (there are six): $4.99
  • Complete DLC bundle: $19.99
  • Deluxe Digital Edition (the game with all the DLC): $69.99
  • The first DLC pack, which includes Platinum, Orie, and Kanji, is free for everyone at launch.
  • Per earlier confirmation, Blake Belladona and Yang Xiao Long will be free to download

If you want to buy the game with all characters, it’ll net you $70, which is $10 higher than the usual AAA game price. Will gamers bite or see this as a new way of nickel and diming? Your guess is as good as mine.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will kick out this June 5 for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
