  • Unique decor: “Raven’s eye” (2 pcs.);
  • Unique hologram: “Soaring soul”;
  • A set of stickers;
  • Access to new structural parts;
  • Maximum number of parts increased to 55.

The Arbiter’s daughter has been drawn to the otherworldly since she was a child, but her father taught her only to drive and shoot, with the hope of making Alva his own bodyguard in the future. The Firestarters offered a compromise: they recognized the girl’s potential and took her with them, continuing not only to nurture her cruelty but also providing her with occult knowledge. However, the shamans soon cast the young witch out for her different view of their ideology: while fire was the most important element for them, Alva drew her strength from death. She believed that by killing a man in a fair fight, one could take away the power of the defeated.
For years Alva wandered through the woods, communicating with spirits and searching for her destiny, until eventually she stumbled upon an abandoned armoured car in a cave in the swamp. The young woman decided that the vehicle was inhabited by an ancient raven spirit named Kutkh, who needed to absorb souls in order to live. The witch was able to start the car and returned to her father, who immediately offered Alva to become his bodyguard. Such cooperation was beneficial for everyone: the attempts on Petrolium’s life happened quite often, and Alva with her armoured vehicle were eager to kill.

Attention! The pack will be available from June 3, 00:00 GMT, until July 3, 23:59 GMT!

Eater of souls

  • Unique armoured car: “Valley doctor”;
  • New weapon of epic rarity: “Varun”;
  • New frontal wheel: “Sabbath” (4 pcs.);
  • Unique character portrait: “Alva”;
  • Unique paint can;
  • 1500 in-game coins.

Additionally, the player receives:

  • Access to new structural parts;
  • Maximum number of parts increased to 55.

Attention! The pack will be available from June 3, 00:00 GMT!

Eater of souls (Lite edition)

  • Unique armoured car: “Nestling”;
  • New weapon of epic rarity: “Varun”;
  • New frontal wheel: “Sabbath” (4 pcs.);
  • A paint can;
  • Access to new structural parts;
  • Maximum number of parts increased to 35.

Maps

New Garage: “Copperhead” stadium

  • The garage is awarded to all players who have purchased the deluxe edition of the “Eater of souls” pack.
  • In addition to the standard car vehicle testing and range building areas, the range has a full-fledged race track and target shooting range.

Other

  • The amount of places where a player’s car could potentially get stuck in the environment objects on the “Wrath of Khan” map has been reduced.
  • Improved collision models for rocket systems in the “Old town” map. Now projectiles will correctly fly through those places that don’t have any visual obstacles for them.

Interface

Improved a number of in-game icons, buttons and windows.

Sound

  • Now all holograms have a sound that is played when they are shut down.
  • Added 2 new music tracks specially for the Festival brawls:

Miscellaneous

  • Reworked the physical and visual models of the machine gun “LM-54 Chord”. Attention! The change can lead to an error in the assembled armoured vehicles if the models of the machine gun and adjacent parts overlap each other. In this case, it’s necessary to mount the machine gun differently.
  • Improved display of stickers in the storage.
  • Improved the physical model of the cabin “Cockpit”. New welding points were also added to the cabin.
  • Improved the physical model of the “Fukigayeshi” decor.
  • Improved activation and deactivation animations for built-in scopes and scope modules.
  • Now the hologram “Sword of Damocles” is activated only if the animation from the previous activation ended 5 or more seconds ago.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the “Sword of Damocles” hologram would activate after destroying enemy wheel drones.
  • Fixed a bug where the area damage from the “Yokai” projectile didn’t affect the mines of the “Kapkan”.
  • Fixed a bug where falling into water in certain areas of the Syndicate garage would not lead to the destruction of the vehicle.
  • Changed the logic of the leviathans when shooting plasma emitters. Incorrect firing led to a decrease in the amount of damage dealt.
  • Fixed and optimized the calculation of physical parameters of an armoured car during part destruction, which led, among other, to a strong decrease in the flight altitude and mobility of hovers.
  • Now the weapon scopes ignore destructible objects.
  • Fixed a bug where charging the “Astraeus” weapon caused damage to vehicle parts, even if the shot was not fired.
  • Fixed a bug where flamethrower firing sounds could be cut off when pressing the fire key was pressed quickly in sequence in areas where there was an echo effect.
  • Improved the physical models of the “BC-17 Tsunami” and “CC-18 Typhoon” cannons. Now, in case they are mounted symmetrically, there are no issues with different rotation angles.
  • Fixed a number of text strings.

That’s it for the patch notes. Crossout is out now and free-to-play for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and Xbox One.

ITEM SPAWN BALANCE

We have received reports that heal items were difficult to find in Erangel and Miramar Normal Matches since the item spawn balance in Update 16.2. After reviewing internal data, we noticed the spawn rate of heal items decreased slightly in Erangel’s Normal Matches – this was mainly due to the increase in weapon and attachment spawn rates (with no adjustment to the overall spawn amount).

Meanwhile, in Miramar Normal Matches, the number of heal items did not decrease as we also boosted the overall amount of spawned items – however, a comparatively aggressive change to gameplay dynamics was detected due to the stronger possibility of finding more weapon and attachment spawns. Therefore, the natural demand for heal items has greatly increased.

To respond to these changes, we have decided to make the following changes.

※ The item spawn rate balance shown below will only apply to Normal Matches.

  • ERANGEL
    • Increased the total amount of items by approximately 10%.
      • Spawn rates for Vest (Lv.1) and Backpack (Lv.1) have reduced by approximately 15%, but Vest (Lv.2) and Backpack (Lv.2) have increased by approximately 60%.
      • Spawn rates for both Helmet (Lv.1) and Helmet (Lv.2) have increased by approximately 10%.
      • Spawn rates for Adrenaline Syringes, Energy Drinks, and Painkillers have increased by approximately 50%.
      • Spawn rate for Bandages have reduced by approximately 23%, but First Aid Kits and Med Kits have increased by approximately 150%.
      • Spawn rates for Stun Grenades, Molotov Cocktails, Smoke Grenades, and Grenades have increased by approximately 25%.
      • Spawn rates for Foregrips and Stocks have increased by approximately 20%.
      • Spawn rates for Mountain Bikes have increased by approximately 50%.
  • MIRAMAR
    • Increased the total amount of items by approximately 6%.
      • Spawn rates for Vest (Lv.1) and Helmet (Lv.1) have reduced by approximately 30%, but Vest (Lv.2) and Vest (Lv.3) have increased by approximately 25% along with Helmet (Lv.2) increased by approximately 100%.

Battlefield 2042 “Economy” and Microtransaction Details Revealed – Battlefield Currency, Battle Pass and Progression

Back in April, we reported that an in-game store for Battlefield 2042 was datamined, which suggested that microtransactions were incoming. Well, it seems that time is right when Season 1 launches, as EA has revealed the Battlefield 2042 “economy,” the Battle Pass, “Battlefield Currency” and more!

Before anyone twists their panties in a bunch, EA has confirmed that the fight will be “fair to everyone,” and no one will get a gameplay advantage by spending real-life money, and only cosmetic items and other things that won’t give a gameplay edge will be available for puchase with real-world money or Battlefield Currency.

Battlefield 2042 Economy and Microtransactions Overview:

Player Progression:

Progressing in Battlefield 2042 is as easy as playing the game and earning XP. Assisting your squad, defeating enemies, winning matches, playing the objective – these actions earns you experience points. Once you’ve racked up enough XP, you are promoted to the next Player Level which means new rewards like weapons, gadgets, cosmetics, and more. Stay tuned to our channels for upcoming events where you can earn even more XP. But as you battle away, you will also progress through your Battle Pass of the current Season.

The Battle Pass – Free and Premium:

There are two progression paths in the Battle Pass: Free* and Premium. Access to the former is free for all game owners and the latter is accessed by purchasing a Premium Battle Pass or to those who already have a Year One Pass**. All new gameplay-related content such as Specialists, weapons, vehicles, and so on will be free for all Battlefield 2042 players. This content can be unlocked through the Battle Pass. If you should miss the content rolled out in one Season, you can still unlock it at a later stage.

Each Season’s Battle Pass consists of 100 tiers and the more you play, the further you will advance through these. Gameplay-related unlocks like weapons and Specialists plus other unlocks like Battlefield Currency will be included in the Free Battle Pass tiers, available to all players. 30 of the 100 rewards are available to all players as part of the Free Battle Pass. However, the Premium Battle Pass comes with a reward for each of the 100 tiers. Going Premium lets you unlock some truly special skins, Player Card Backgrounds, weapon charms, takedowns, additional Battlefield Currency, and more.

Battlefield Currency:

Battlefield Currency – or BFC – is the prime medium of exchange in Battlefield 2042. BFC can either be purchased with real money or earned by progressing through the Battle Pass tiers (including some in the free tiers) and getting BFC as a reward. You can spend Battlefield Currency on various things; cosmetic items, a Premium Battle Pass, and item bundles.

As mentioned, players will not get a gameplay advantage by spending real-life money – Battlefield Currency can only be spent on things like cosmetic items that won’t give you any unfair edges on the battlefield.

The Store:

The in-game Store is where you can unlock many different items by spending Battlefield Currency, or “BFC”, which is purchased with real-life money or unlocked by progressing through the Free Battlepass tiers. In the Store you will find skins for weapons, vehicles, and Specialists, which will make you stand out on the battlefield. We will update the Store regularly with new content and offers, and some can be bought as bundles at a discount. Don’t worry about items disappearing after a while; most of the content will remain in the Store.

Use Battle Pass Points to Unlock Battle Pass Tiers:

To reach a new tier in your Battle Pass, you need to earn Battle Pass Points. These are acquired in two ways: by earning XP from playing any game mode in Battlefield 2042, and by completing Weekly Missions. These missions will challenge you to, for instance, revive 10 teammates or capture 5 Conquest flags before the mission period is over.

If you are Premium Battle Pass owner, you can also spend 150 Battlefield Currency on a Tier Skip which lets you jump to the next tier straight away.

For those unaware, Season 1 of Battlefield 2042 is set to commence in “early June,” which should be sometime next week or so. Before that, EA has already started making big changes to the game, as DICE has announced that classic maps from Battlefield Portal will be making its way to All-Out Warfare.

Madden 23 Cover Athlete to Feature Coach John Madden, EA Pays Tribute via First Interactive Experience & More

EA has revealed the Madden 23 cover athlete and it’s none other than the man himself — Coach John Madden! To commemorate Madden’s death in December last year, EA has coined June 1 as “Madden Day,” and has also included what they call the “first interactive experience.”

Here’s what Madden NFL game fans can expect from EA regarding John Madden:

  • Cover: Coach Madden returns to the cover of Madden NFL 23 for the first time in more than 20 years. Coach is celebrated across three unique covers that highlight him as a broadcaster, NFL coach, and, in art created by Philly-based artist Chuck Styles, as a gaming icon on the digital only Madden NFL 23 All Madden Edition.

  • Madden NFL 23 First Interactive Experience: Two versions of Coach Madden lead opposing teams of “All Madden” athletes facing off in the 1970s Oakland Coliseum. In addition, the unforgettable voice of Coach Madden returns during the game in remastered audio clips that callback to his legendary days as a broadcaster.

  • Madden Day: June 1 is #MaddenDay, the original release date of John Madden Football in 1988. To celebrate the date, in addition to releasing the cover of Madden NFL 23, EA will officially dedicate a renovated field at the EA HQ in Redwood Shores “John Madden Field” in a ceremony with the EA CEO, members of the Madden family, EA employees and more.

This is the first time in over two decades that the legendary coach and broadcaster is gracing the game cover. The first Madden game was released back in June 1, 1988 and was titled “John Madden Football.”

You can read more about Madden Day and EA’s tribute to the football legend right here.

Battlefield 2042 Classic Maps From BF Portal to Be Added to All-Out Warfare Starting June 2, Here’s a Rundown of What’s Happening

While we’re just a few short days (weeks) away from Season 1 of Battlefield 2042, DICE isn’t waiting for that to kickoff before doing something regarding content and variety in gameplay, as the studio announced that Battlefield 2042 classic maps from Battlefield Portal are being added to All-Out Warfare!

Here’s the announcement made by the official Battlefield Direct Twitter account today:

You’ve also asked us to add Classic era maps to All-Out Warfare

So tomorrow, we’re making a change to the currently available playlists

Conquest 64 will be updated tomorrow with a new name, Exodus Conquest, and will now feature maps from Battlefield 3, and Bad Company in its rotations

🔹 Battlefield 3
Caspian Border
Noshahr Canals

🔸 Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Arica Harbor
Valparaiso

For our Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players, Exodus Conquest will appear as an additional playlist

On PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, it will replace the standard Conquest 64 playlist

That’s a huge win for those playing All-Out Warfare, as this means there are now four “new” maps to play BF2042 in! While this is good news, don’t forget, Season 1 will only add one new map to All-Out Warfare confirmed! Not only that, but DICE has also confirmed that BF2042’s third mode, Hazard Zone, will not be getting any new content at all.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Update 1.17 Rolled Out This June 1

Blizzard Entertainment has released Diablo 2 Resurrected update 1.17 (PS5 version 1.017), which is an unannounced title update. Given the Ladder launch just this April, don’t expect anything major outside of bug fixes and the like. Read on for the Diablo 2 Resurrected June 1 patch notes.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Update 1.17 Patch Notes | Diablo 2 Resurrected Update 1.017 Patch Notes | Diablo 2 Resurrected June 1 Patch Notes:

Size: 5.8GB (PlayStation)

Unfortunately, Blizzard Entertainment has not released anything official regarding today’s title update just yet, though we suspect that the changes made are related to the Ladder. It could also be tied to Diablo Immortal’s launch tomorrow (which wouldn’t be the first time a game is patched to market another game in the franchise).

Over on the game’s official forums, one poster has mentioned how the update their shared stash is now empty after the update!

Between logging out 3/28 at about 5:00a EST and logging back in later that day at about 6:00p EST something changed and as a result every one of my shared stash tabs is completely empty. Items, gold, everything. Personal stash tabs unaffected.

Unfortunately, as I play hardcore, I keep no items of value in the personal stash tabs and keep them in the shared stash instead, for obvious reasons. Needless to say this is a pretty devastating bug as I’ve lost a large share of the items, runewords, etc. that I had been working toward and for since release.

This is all on XBox. Fml

Hopefully, others haven’t experienced this issue after the update as well. We’re on the lookout for the official patch notes, and once we spot ’em, we’ll update the post. If you spot any gameplay-related or technical fixes made, leave a comment below and let us know.
