Bungie has debuted another trailer for Destiny 2 The Witch Queen, and this one shows off the expansion’s first mission, as the Guardians encounter an undying Hive Knight that has taken hold of the Light. Check out the trailer below.
The Destiny 2 The Witch Queen trailer mixes live-action cutscenes, gameplay and cinematics, all the while focusing on how Savathun managed to get ahold of the Light in order to use it against the Guardians and the Last City. Ikora herself in the trailer brings up the theory that it may all be a trick from Savathun, although it still remains to be seen if this is the case.

Guerrilla Games has debuted a gameplay trailer for Horizon Forbidden West, and this one manages to surprise thanks to its crafty editing showing off tons of new environments and enemies. Check out the gameplay trailer below.
Besides the Horizon Forbidden West gameplay trailer, just in case you missed it, Guerrilla Games detailed the combat in their latest post on the PlayStation Blog.
“Our changes to combat design stayed true to Aloy’s identity. First, we wanted to add additional depth to gameplay and increase the skill cap for players, through skills like melee combos and Valor Surges. Players who spend some time perfecting their combat skills will find some efficient and stylish ways to dispose of their enemies. Second, we wanted to cater to a variety of playstyles and really focus on freedom of choice. Through new weapons and outfits, which can be upgraded at a workbench, players can adapt their tactics. Finally, we wanted to design challenging enemies that encourage players to use all their abilities and skills. A whole new set of machines as well as advanced human enemies will keep players on their toes throughout the game!”

In possibly one of the biggest announcements from The Game Awards, Remedy Entertainment unveiled Alan Wake 2! There’s no new gameplay shown off, but we do get the announcement trailer.
According to Remedy’s Sam Lake, this is the studio’s take on survival horror, unlike the first game which was an action game.
Alan Wake 2 is confirmed to be coming in 2023 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The Star Wars Eclipse trailer is about as cinematic as it gets, but it’s unknown yet in terms of gameplay. As detailed previously in our previous post:
The rumor comes from different sources, with each one adding to the overall viability. The first one comes from VGC via a French YouTuber, which claimed that Quantic Dream made a deal with Disney after their three-game exclusive deal with Sony ended. The second one comes from Tom Henderson of DualShockers, who published a separate report and got the subsequent tweet liked by Quantic Dream. The most recent one comes from Kotaku, and they sourced it from a supposed insider with knowledge of the project.

The new gameplay trailer for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is out, and it looks incredibly unsettling, creepy, and visually terrific! The gameplay trailer blends perfectly with the cinematic aspect of the game, and you can check it out in full below.
The Hellblade 2 trailer shows off Senua and his companions landing on shore to find a gigantic humanoid creature, before trying to take the creature on. However, things go horribly wrong, and and Senua and her men are forced to retreat.
All throughout the trailer, you’re going to realize the unique binaural audio that developer Ninja Theory utilized for the first title, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. It amplifies the chaos perfectly, and captures the essence of mental psychosis that has always been at the core of Senua and the Hellblade series.
“This deadline for the troll was really right,” exclaimed Simon Clutterbuck, VP of Creative at Ziva Dynamics. “We had 3 artists working on it and only one month to get it all done. Building out a realistic body utilizing our existing datasets as a starting point saved us a lot of time. The tech is really changing the way our partners tackle character work.”
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is coming to Xbox Game Pass at a still to be announced date.

One of the most anticipate fighting games gets a brand new trailer at The Game Awards, as The King of Fighters 15 introduces Krohnen and announces a second beta testing for PS4 and PS5!
Here’s the new trailer that made it’s debut at the pre-show of The Game Awards 2021!
As seen in the trailer, Krohnen looks like a revamped version of the NESTS saga character K 9999 — who was last seen in The King of Fighters 2002. The character was redesigned as Nameless for the updated version of that game in The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match due to similarities with the character Tetsuo from the anime/ manga classic Akira. Now it appears that SNK has found a way to reintroduced the character again for KOF 15 — and we can’t wait to see how he plays into the new saga of the ongoing SNK fighting game series.
Also announced is a second beta testing schedule for the game, which starts of December 17 PST and you can check out the schedule below.
You can check out more KOF 15 news at our archives here. The King of Fighters 15 will be released on February 17, 2022 for PC and consoles.

It’s only the pre-show for The Game Awards 2021, and still there are tons of exciting trailers and announcements ahead, with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Game officially announced with a first trailer. Check it out below.
Not much else needed was said about The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Game, save for the fact that it’s going to be an asymmetrical multiplayer title like most other horror games in the genre, like Dead by Daylight and Predator: Hunting Grounds.
In case you’re not a big horror fan, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a horror franchise spanning more than thirty years. It spawned numerous sequels and spinoffs, as well as remakes and reboots over the years. It will be interesting to see how this first video game adaptation for the IP will play out.
It’s no secret that the original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is probably my favorite horror film ever created. Having the chance to really dive into the world of this IP with the team from Gun and working with Sumo to bring this vision to life has been almost surreal. I can’t wait for everyone to see more of what we’re doing.” Ronnie Hobbs, Creative Director @ Gun Interactive on The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Battlefield 2042 has seen its fair number of post-launch patches in less than a month after its release. However, despite the numerous fixes implemented by DICE, some players have pointed out glaring ones that are still yet to be fixed. In a thread made on Reddit, it was apparent that the Battlefield 2042 AC-42 extended mag is still buggeed after three patches detailing its changes, leading players to complain about the developer’s claims on fixing the game.
Take a look at this image here. Comparison Post Day-1 Patch, Post Patch 3.0 and Post Patch 3.1.. its been patched multiple times and yet remains the same.
Fixed some weapons displaying wrong ammo counts for specific magazines
Really DICE? its been 3 Patches. How incompetent can you get? Each and every patch you changed the values. And none of them are THE CORRECT ONE.
You can check out the image in question below:
It’s still up in the air if this issue with the AC-42 extended mag will be addressed in the next patch for Battlefield 2042, and hopefully it comes soon. If you want to check the patch notes for the latest update released today, you can read all of it here.
For those playing Battlefield 2042’s Battle Portal mode more than the base game itself, DICE has rolled out the Battlefield Portal featured playlist for the week, as well as made adjustments to it as well.
We have adjusted the Respawn Timer down from 10 seconds to 5 seconds on this weeks featured #BattlefieldPortal experience
In case you didn’t know, Update 3.1 for Battlefield 2042 was rolled out earlier today, and it includes a ton of gameplay-related changes. Check the complete patch notes right here.

Event Chop Til’ You Drop
Hey mercs, how’s the holiday shopping going? If you need some extra dosh, there’s an easy solution, keep killing Zeds of course! For that, we suggest you visit the new map, Carillon Hamlet, a small town that was preparing for the holiday until a bunch of obnoxious elves burst into their production line. Additionally, you can try the 2 new weekly modes that will challenge your killing skills: face all the bosses in a row in the Boss Rush, or experience Shrunken Heads where headshots will not be an option. Finally, The Horzine Research Group has launched a new product on the market for this Christmas campaign, the HRG Stunner, a new handy tool to help the SWAT mercs shine.
New Additions and Highlights

Compatible with Survival, Weekly, and Endless Game Modes.

Each boss will be selected randomly, but without repeating any of them along the five waves.

Zeds spawn 50% faster but the total amount of Zeds is reduced by 20%.

This is a paid DLC weapon. This weapon can be shared amongst players through our weapon sharing system.
A tier 2 off-perk weapon that works in semi-automatic or full-automatic fire modes.

Designer Notes :
We know that endless games can be a huge time commitment, so we included the option to pause the game If every player agrees the waves will not be resumed, allowing players to have a break for whatever necessities. The option will be available only during trader time online. The system to resume the waves will be similar, with a vote of all players confirming.
The auto-aiming system for controllers was not working as expected under some specific circumstances. Sometimes when aiming slightly above the head the system used to auto-aim to the body center instead of the head. We have increased the range of detection of the head to avoid this problem. With this adjustment, using a controller will feel more accurate and consistent to player expectations than before.
We made very slight adjustments on the VLAD-1000 Nailgun just to improve the feeling of the weapon in the Support hands. We think the weapon was in a good spot in terms of balance, but these small adjustments will make it more friendly to use for this perk.
Regarding the Survivalist perk skill “Make Things go Boom”, it was boosted to have similar values as the Demolitionist equivalent skill, as we think that the Survivalist deserves to have the same capacities.
Finally, we made some adjustments on two bosses that were less prefered to play against by many mercs, King Fleshpound and Abomination. We boost some of their stats, mostly focusing on making them more aggressive and giving more importance to the skills that make them unique.
For the King Fleshpound, we adjusted the health thresholds in which the boss will be able to use their skills (ground pound, beam and shield), and we boosted the stats of these.
For the Abomination, we boosted different skills to make its rage phases more dangerous, increasing the sprinting speed and the rate of farts and bloat mines. Regarding the sub-spawns you will notice an increase in their number but they will be weaker.
