Bloodhunt PC Requirements Revealed by Sharkmob

With its Early Release date on Steam drawing ever closer, Sharkmob has finally released the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt PC requirements for players interested in knowing if they can play this next battle royale title. You can check out the PC requirements for Bloodhunt below.

  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 20 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: HDD

RECOMMENDED:

The game is quite receptive to older hardware, so players who sport aging GPUs and CPUs won’t feel left behind once they get their hands on Bloodhunt. However, it’s interesting to note that an SSD is strongly recommended, which may have an impact on the game’s loading and performance once it finally releases.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is set to be released on PC via Steam Early Access this September 7.

  • Waterlogged gets its own menu music.
  • Added additional chances for the waterlogged biome to retrofit in if the original retrofit failed.
  • Chester will no longer try to cling to you when you’re on a boat.
  • The Knobbly Tree Nut can now be destroyed by most bosses or with a hammer.
  • Fixed crashes related to the Steering Wheel.
  • Fixed a crash when changing characters via the celestial portal when under the effects on lunacy.
  • Fixed a bug allowing more Rockjaws to be spawned on a player than intended.
  • Fixed a rendering issue with nightmare fuel.

NBA 2K22 All-New MyTEAM Updates Revealed, MyTEAM Unlimited $250K Tournament Also Announced

NBA 2K22 is headed to consoles and PC this September, and publisher 2K Games is releasing more information for the most anticipated sports game releasing this year. In a press release that was provided to us, Visual Concepts has provided more details on NBA 2K22 all-new MyTEAM updates coming to the game this September 10.

NBA 2K22 MyTEAM Updates:

  • MyTEAM Draft: Offers a new multiplayer mode where players pick a full lineup of Player Cards. Every Draft will net players a guaranteed League Pack and at least a single pick on a Draft-exclusive Ascension;
  • Triple Threat Online: The 100 is a new take on the 3-on-3 mode where great defense earns players even more rewards;
  • Season 1: Call to Ball: Earn new Seasonal Player Reward Cards, such as a Kobe Bryant 93-rated Free Agent card that will lead players’ starting lineups or reach Level 40 to gain a Pink Diamond Carmelo Anthony;
  • Community Logos: Players who have received in-game verification will now have their logos appear next to their usernames in MyTEAM, with opportunities for players to gain this recognition throughout the year as chosen by the NBA 2K Community Team;
  • New challenges, agendas, rewards, events, and more player & team customization throughout the year.

In addition to these new updates, 2K Games also detailed an upcoming tournament called MyTEAM Unlimited. The competition will be separated into two events, which their own $250,000 prize pot: one will be held for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles and the other for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States & D.C. (excluding AZ, CT, MD, and ND), Canada (excluding Quebec), Australia, Chile, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Greece, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland, Indonesia, Israel, Germany, Japan, Macau, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland,  Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey, who are at least 18 years of age and the age of majority in their state/country/province of residence. Void in AZ, CT, MD, ND, Quebec and where prohibited.  Contest will consist of 2 separate tracks for PlayStation (PS) and Xbox entrants.

To participate, you must have NBA® 2K22 game (“Game”), Xbox Gold Service or PS Plus service, and Internet connection. Game must be played on PS4 and Xbox One for Track 1 and PS5 and Xbox X/S for Track 2.  This Contest consists of: (i) the Pre-Qualifying Period; (ii) the GameDays; and (iii) the Tournament.  You must qualify during the Pre-Qualifying Period to participate in the GameDays.  The Pre-Qualifying Period begins on September 10, 2021 at 12:00:00 AM local time.  The first GameDay takes place on October 16, 2021 and the last GameDay takes place on February 19, 2022.  You must qualify for the Tournament, which is currently scheduled to take place on March 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM U.S. Pacific Time for Track 1 and on March 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM U.S. Pacific Time for Track 2.

NBA 2K22 is releasing this September 10 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Gotham Knights Key Art Poster Revealed, WB and DC Tease New Content For DC FanDome

Fans of the Bat Family get to see their favorite vigilantes in brand new artwork! Gotham Knights key art poster has been revealed, and WB and DC tease new content for DC FanDome this October!

Here’s a look at the key art released, featuring the playable characters of the game in Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Hood!

As an action role-playing game based off the Batman family and DC Universe, Gotham Knights puts players in the roles of The Dark Knight’s proteges — as they take up their mentor’s mission to protect Gotham City in the wake of his mysterious death as well as Commissioner Gordon’s. The entire town has fallen into crime and lawlessness, and the quartet have decided to continue protecting the innocent and fighting against evil now that the Caped Crusader is no longer around. Assisting them in their mission is the ever loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth, as well as Gotham City Police Department Captain Renee Montoya — two of the only allies left for the Gotham Knights to count on and trust to help take back the city and ensuring the Batman’s legacy lives on.

While this key art looks pretty awesome, fans will be getting more come next month when DC FanDome returns to serve more exciting news and goodies for DC fans — including an update on this game and when exactly does it drop for PC and consoles!

Gotham Knights was originally scheduled for a 2021 release, but was delayed to 2022 and you can read why developer WB Games Montreal made the decision here.

Overwatch League Will Use an Overwatch 2 Early Build Next Season

Despite the many controversies currently surrounding Blizzard Entertainment, it is still inevitable that they will release Overwatch 2, the follow-up to their incredibly popular hero shooter. That said, it might surprise the game’s fanbase to hear that the game will debut earlier than expected, as the Overwatch League is confirmed to start the 2022 season on an early build of Overwatch 2. Overwatch League is the game’s esports scene, and in it we will finally see our first glimpse at how Overwatch 2 plays in a competitive setting. This announcement was first covered by Liz Richardson, reporter for DotEsports.

The news was confirmed by Jon Spector on Twitter, Overwatch League vice president. He also mentioned that the next season of Overwatch League will begin in April 2022, with more roster information to come in the future.

It’s been more than a few months since we last had updates on Overwatch 2, as the excitement for it was overtaken by the serious lawsuit that Blizzard is now facing over sexual harrassment and “frat boy” culture. Overwatch 2’s release date is still unknown for the time being, although you can expect it to release on last- and current-gen consoles as well as PCs.

Who doesn’t want free stuff, right? While Battlefield 2042’s release might be looming over the horizon, the older Battlefield games are still getting some live, as EA has just released the Battlefiel 1 In the Name of the Tsar DLC for free on PSN!

PSN Store Sale Weekend Offer for September 3 Launched, Includes Some Heavy Hitters

While Sony launched the PlayStation Store “Essential Picks” sale this week, the company isn’t done there, as a new PSN Store sale Weekend Offer for September 3 has been launched today too! Understandably, this has fewer games, but what’s available are some big guns.

Rumor: Battlefield 2042 Beta Set to Start on September 22

Earlier this week, we posted that a large EU retailer has mentioned that the Battlefield 2042 beta will start on September 6, which honestly, sounds a bit far-fetched given we’re just a few days away, and EA has not made any announcement about it.

It seems now, there’s more news regarding the BF2042 beta date, and this time, two sources have “verified” it. Reliable Call of Duty and Battlefield leaker Tom Henderson has tweeted that the beta will start on September 22! What’s more, Henderson has even made a bet of sorts regarding the date.

Further adding fuel to the Battlefield 2042 beta start date fire is Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grub, who mentioned in the Giant Bomb show that he has heard the same date shared about as well via his own sources.

Same as with every leak, treat this one with a grain of salt, as no date has been verified or debunked by EA. That said, given we just got some sweet Battlefield 2042 gameplay today showcasing four new Specialists, it seems late September falls in line if we’re going to get more Specialist reveals in the next two weeks.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Roster Leak via Nintendo eShop

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is still a month away from release, but in the silliest of ways we now know most of the game’s characters. The game’s box art was the source of the big reveal, with the previously sillhoutted Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl roster characters leaked via the its Nintendo eShop listing.

Outriders Upcoming Update Changes Previewed by People Can Fly

Developer People Can Fly took to Reddit once again to discuss another big batch of Outriders upcoming update changes. The list goes through the latest patch news and several issues that the team is currently tracking. It’s important to note that People Can Fly came out early and said that the next patch is still not ready for release, and that this preview of sorts may still change in the future.

Patch News:

Our latest patch is currently undergoing the usual test-cycle, but we wanted to share some highlights of the upcoming fixes and changes with you already today.

Please do bear in mind that our current testing is still validating the below fixes so some of them may not be 100% guaranteed for this patch. Also note that this is not an exhaustive list and is still subject to change as we pass through the testing phase. The final patch will include more fixes and improvements.

  • Further improved the visibility of the Brood Mothers Surge AOE skill limits.
  • Fixed a bug that was preventing players from reviving themselves and other players after using the Trickster’s Borrowed Time skill.
  • Resolved an issue that could cause the game to stutter when engaging Crawlers in battle during Expeditions.
  • Resolved an issue that could cause players to stutter when entering the drained lake during the third enemy encounter in the Scorched Lands expedition.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented secondary characters from picking up Journal Entries if they had already been collected on a different character.
  • Resolved an issue that would force matchmaking privacy setting to default to “Open”. The privacy setting should now remain “Closed” when set. This should help further reduce AFK matchmaking.
  • Added an AFK status for players on friends lists.
  • Changed the behaviour of the Devastator’s Impale, so that the game will detect impaled enemies as dead even before they disappear.
  • The Devastator’s “Reflect Bullets” skill will now protect from Sciathan projectile attacks.
  • Fixed a bug that could prevent Devastators from being able to consistently dodge if they had the Auto Reflect mod active.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause client shots to sometimes deal no actual damage to enemies.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the Technomancer’s Plague Sower set bonus to not proc consistently.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the Plague Sower and the Cannonball Legendary Sets to not retain their set bonus after a transition.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause certain mods like “Grand Opening” to not proc if the player was on their last magazine.
  • Crash Fixes
  • Other minor bug Fixes

What’s a Xûr?

Xûr, Agent of the Nine, is a strange vendor who randomly appears in a Public Sector on one of the Worlds. Xûr sells Exotic equipment and only takes Legendary Shards in exchange for them.

TL;DR: He’s the Santa Claus of Destiny and every weekend is Christmas. Sometimes he brings you what you want, sometimes he brings you coal. Mostly it’s coal.

When does Xûr visit?

Hunter’s Arena Legends Update 1.08 Released

Mantisco has just dropped the Hunter’s Arena Legends update 1.08 (PS5 version 1.080) update this September 3, merely hours after the big update 1.07. If you’re out of the loop, the devs have mentioned some issues with controller input not working for the PS4 and the PS5. While we’re unsure if this latest patch fixes this particular issue, the developers did release a hotfix for this problem via Twitter. Check out the hotfix below.

We are terribly sorry about the inconvenience.

It is currently unknown what is causing these controller issues on PS4 and PS5 and just how many players are affected. A quick check on the game’s offficial subreddit shows that at least one player has encountered the problem in-game, and hopefully we’ll know more once the official patch notes for update 1.08 are up.

Life Is Strange: True Colors Hands-On Preview – Strange Indeed

In just a few short days, the latest entry in the Life Is Strange chapter will be released, and MP1st has been fortunate enough to be given early access to it (thanks, Square Enix!). While our review won’t go live until next week, we are able to share our Life Is Strange: True Colors hand-ons preview! Ready? Let’s dive in.

Life Is Strange is back with the latest game titled, “True Colors.” The following gameplay shown is recorded on the PlayStation 5 in 4K at 60hz with raytracing on. This preview only covers Chapter 1 and no spoilers will be included.

In Life Is Strange: True Colors, you follow the story of Alex Chen, someone who has a unique ability: feeling others fears, angers and sadness. This allows Alex to help people overcome certain situations; some super simple, while others severe.

However, Although her unique abilities allow her to understand other people better they do have a major side effect as for every time she uses him she becomes more absorbed in those feelings that’s taking them on herself. Thus setting off a chain of cause and effects that will alter players decisions and have major outcomes in the game’s grand arc.

While the first chapter is a rather slow burn, fans of the series will no doubt appreciate the many choices and explorative freedom offered by the third installment. Taking place in Haven Springs, Colorado, there is a bountiful amount of beautiful sceneries to explore.From all the luscious trees, to the wonderful rooftop views over a lake, Haven Springs feels like the perfect location to tell the tale of True Colors, as it is packed with variety, making it a fun explorative location.

With this being a Life Is Strange title, of course you will have a ton of choices that will reflect the ending of the story. This time around however, instead of waiting for each chapter/episode to release, you get all the content (minus the upcoming DLC) all in one go, which is a nice change to have.

One minor complaint I have is that the game has the option to mute licensed music which in theory is great, but there is a particular cutscene where Alex and her brother Gabe are jamming it out and there is no music playing at all. It just made the whole scene feel weird and awkward. I am not 100 percent faulting Square Enix or Deck Nine for this (copyright is fun to deal with /s) but I feel at least some other type of music would have been great to have.

With that being said, Life Is Strange: True Colors is shaping up to be a great Life Is Strange title and you can get your hands on it September 10, 2021 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X.

THQ Nordic Digital Showcase Announced, Will Feature Six New Games

THQ Nordic is celebrating their 10th year in the industry this 2021, and they have a very special celebration planned for all of their biggest fans. First announced on their social media channels, the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase event will be held this September 17, and is set to feature several new titles as well as updates on their upcoming games.

The event will be hosted by Geoff Keighley, who we last saw at gamescom and is best known for producing and hosting The Game Awards. According to THQ Nordic, we can expect six games to be featured, which will see the return of legendary franchises and sequels to their own titles. In addition to that, the publisher will also release new information for two of their upcoming titles: Elex 2 and Expeditions: Rome. HandyGames, a developer under the label and best known for their work on Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, will also be featured in the event as THQ Nordic gives us a glimpse of what they’ve been working on.

Battlefield 2042 Gameplay Features 4 Specialists’ Overview Along With New Images & More

Hungry for some new Battlefield 2042 gameplay and info? EA knows this, as the publisher has released a 4-in-1 Battlefield 2042 Specialists overview video, where we not only see new gameplay, but four Specialists’ abilities as well!

Webster Mackay

Class: Assault

Place of Birth: Canada

Specialty: Grappling Hook – Fires a rope that attaches to surfaces. When attached, the rope is retracted and the player gets pulled towards the attach point.

Trait: Nimble – Allows the player to move more quickly while aiming down sights, further enhancing their speed-related advantages.

Story:

Outdoorsman. Nomad. Soldier. Mackay is an ass-kicker with a conscience. Following his father’s footsteps, Mackay joined the Canadian military in his teens. At the height of his military career, he was a member of Joint Task Force 2 as a part of a counter-terrorism unit.

After retiring from the military, he followed his dreams of exploring and living off the grid. Now, this Assault soldier fights for the Non-Patriated to make right a regret from his military days.

Maria Falck

Class: Support

Place of Birth: Germany

Specialty: S21 Syrette Pistol – Fires a syringe at friendlies to provide healing. If fired at an enemy, the syringe will do damage.

Trait: Combat Surgeon – Allows the player to return downed allies to combat with full health when reviving.

Story:

A veteran Support, Maria Falck, has a strong will that cannot be shaken by danger, fear, or rank. A skilled medic, she served in the German army for six years, touring North Africa and the Middle East – in an effort to bring a positive impact upon the world

Now, she searches for her missing son, David, after hearing that he may have become involved with a No-Pat group.

Pyotr “Boris” Guskovsky

Class: Engineer

Place of Birth: Russia

Specialty: SG-36 Sentry System – Automatically spots and engages enemy targets detected within a certain area.

Trait: Sentry Operator – Spots the enemy target when the sentry gun locks on to the enemy in question.

Story:

Self-motivated and self-fulfilling, Boris seeks to acquire power and control in a chaotic world. While his leadership skills may be a bit aggressive to some, there is no denying his skills in the field.

This Russian-born Engineer is a very experienced weapons expert on the Task Force, particularly when it comes to defensive tactics, although his true attachment to the team is suspect. Nevertheless, Boris is trusted to get the job done, albeit with maximum collateral damage.

Wikus “Casper” Van Daele:

Class: Recon

Place of Birth: South Africa

Specialty: OV-P Recon Drone – Spots nearby moving targets and can disorient enemies by using EMP blasts. Can also be used to designate targers for lock-on weapons.

Trait: Sentry Movement Sensor – Alerts the player to approaching enemies, both while boots on the ground and when piloting the Recon Drone.

Story:

Recon soldier Wikus is a loner – and the unflappable, calm presence on the Task Force. A former intelligence-gathering operative in South Africa, Wikus is a master of camouflage and long-range engagement.

After stumbling onto a conspiracy involving a senior officer that put the lives of those of his unit and local civilians in danger, Wikus was falsely accused of murder and fled the country. He aligned himself with the No-Pats in hopes of being able to return home one day if there is still a home to return to.

The first Specialist to get the spotlight treatment is none other than Irish from Battlefield 4, which you can watch in full here.

It looks like we’ll be getting more Specialist blow outs soon, and once we do, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

Battlefield 2042 is set for release this October 22 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Hello Games has released the No Man’s Sky update 3.62 September 3 patch (PS5 version 3.062) which makes this the third patch for the game in this week alone. Same as yesterday’s patch, this is purely for fixes for the Frontiers update.

  • Fixed an issue that caused standing lights to be powered incorrectly.

Fortnite Update 3.29 Deployed for Stability & Crew Protocol Fix This Sept. 3

Epic Games has released the Fortnite update 3.29 patch this September 3, and this is to address stability issues, as well as for a Crew Protocol back bling fix. This patch is available on all platforms except the Nintendo Switch currently, and no server downtime is expected from the patch roll out happening now.

Here’s the official announcement from Epic Games:

We are deploying a maintenance patch on PC, Playstation consoles, Xbox consoles and Android to address stability issues and the Crew Protocol back bling not showing up on login.

You will be able to download the patch before launching your game, no server downtime is required.

We will update you when the maintenance patch is available on Nintendo Switch at a later time.

That seems to be it for this patch. Of course, given we just got the huge v17.50 title update earlier this week that brought in new stuff and fixes, we shouldn’t expect much from a stability patch roll out.

Battlefield Mobile Play Test to Begin in Southeast Asia; Details and Screenshots Surface

Well, this certainly is a nice surprise, as an official store listing for Battlefield Mobile has appeared on the Google Play Store, giving us our first look at the mobile-based Battlefield game along with some brand-new details.

As revealed by EA, the Battlefield Mobile official Google Play store listing is now live in preparation for the playtests that the company plans on hosting. According to the official EA forums, Battlefield Mobile will begin its playtest sometimes this Autumn. and this initial phase of testing will first start out in Indonesia & the Philippines, and on Android devices first, with plans to roll it out to other regions later. While the game will be free-to-play, the company has confirmed that it will have its own Battle Pass, collectible cosmetics, and unique unlockables.

Balance Adjustments

Tau

Damage dealt to grounded enemies has increased.

Damage dealt to airborne enemies has descreased,

“Devastating Dash” charging speed and changing direction speed has increased.

“Rock Breaker” motion delay after using the skill has decreased.

“Groundbreak” now Ground Stuns the enemy.

Ground Stun – Stunned on the ground for 3 seconds.

“Earthquake” now Ground Stuns the enemy when fully charged.

Ground Stun – Stunned on the ground for 3 seconds.

“Inner Peace” completion time has decreased.

“Inner Peace” now activates when using basic attack after running or using Quickstep.

Other skills can be used in the middle of “Inner Peace”

System Updates

Profile’s “Average Kills” now shows up to 2 decimal points.

You can now spectate your Trio teammates once you die by pressing L1, R1.

Ingame quests have been added to Battle Royale modes. Ingame quests will help you learn game mechanics better and also provide SP rewards on completition.

Daily quests will now become Ingame quests.

RP System

We were aware of the issue where some users would receive abnormal amounts of RP after each match. Since we tracked many users who encountered this issue, we have decided to normalize the rank of applicable accounts. Therefore, rank of some users will fall drastically and we would like to apologize for the inconvenience. We would like to let you know that your rank has to be fixed in order to have the rankings return to normal.

As well, in compensation on our fault on the rank issue, we are going to revise the ranking rewards as follows.

Dalgi, Sandy Hunter’s Rangers skin: Legend rank Top 500 -> All Legend rank players by the end of the season.

Legend rank Top 3 -> Legend rank Top 10

Aside from fixing the rank and MMR issues, we are also going to introduce a brand new RP system. In the new system, we will make sure that all of our players will be able to see how the ranking system works. This is currently in the works, so please be patient.

Lastly, we are not going to tolerate any users who decide to utilize ingame bugs to their advantage. We are going to action and decide to ban such players going forward.
