Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 Maps Won’t All Feature a Three-Lane Design

Are you one of the people who play Call of Duty that’s tired of the familiar three-lane map design in multiplayer popularized by Treyarch? If so, you’ll be glad to hear that the Modern Warfare 2019 maps won’t all feature this same design philosophy.

More Modern Warfare Reading:

Over on Twitter, a fan asked Studio Narrative Director Taylor Kurosaki whether the Modern Warfare maps will all feature a three-lane design, and Kurosaki mentioned that not each one will.

This definitely welcome news for those who want a more varied approach in approaching Call of Duty matches. While three-lane maps are super useful and balanced for pro matches, it does tend to feel same-y in some areas that makes it understandable why some fans don’t want to see every map built the same way.

What do you think? Should most of the maps be built using the three-lane design philosophy so that it’ll feel more balanced? Or do you want to see something more varied to shake things up a bit?

Battlefield 5 Al Sundan Conquest Release Still on Hold Due to Artifacting Issue

Remember when DICE announced that the Battlefield 5 Al Sundan Conquest release would be sometime in mid July way back a few weeks ago? Well, it’s the middle of July, and we still don’t have the franchise’s most popular game mode available on the latest map.

Unfortunately, it seems we won’t be getting it this coming week, either, or anytime soon. Over on the Battlefield 5 subreddit, Battlefield 5 Community Manager  Jeff Braddock was asked when the Battlefield 5 Al Sundan Conquest release would happen, and Braddock mentions that there is still an on-going artifacting issue that is preventing DICE from releasing the game mode in the map.

They’re still working on it.

I know, I know, I know. *sigh*
They fixed the crashing issue that prevented it from being released, but now there’s a artifacting (visual bug) issue that puts this giant black object in the sky, which renders the map unshippable in this state.

I’m really sorry, I don’t have an ETA and I absolutely understand how frustrating this is – I’m a huge Conquest fan/player myself and this map SCREAMS Conquest.

While we already know that a new patch for Battlefield 5 is dropping next week (barring any unforeseen circumstances), it seems we can scratch of Al Sundan being playable in Conquest as part of the list of changes included in it. Let’s hope DICE finds a way to fix this soon.

Gears 5 Cross Play Matchmaking Will Let Xbox Gamers Choose If They Want to Play Against PC Players in Ranked Mode

A new Gear’s 5 interview reveals new details about Gears 5 cross play, with The Coalition going into specifics on what fans can expect when the title launches on Sept. 15, 2019. Speaking with GameSpot, Design Director Ryan Cleven and eSports Creative Manager Rose Gunson shared more details in light of the Public Test Beta that went live yesterday on Xbox One and PC.

Cleven went into detail with GameSpot on how setups will differ between players using keyboards/mouse and controllers. The Coalition plans on allowing players to choose how they want to play with the support of key rebinding and the use of the Xbox adaptive controller.

Xbox players also have the option of not matchmaking with PC players in ranked matches, keeping the playing field balanced, and Cleven also stated that cross-play will be supported for campaign, Horde mode, Versus, and Escape.

We are happy to confirm that Gears 5 will feature cross-platform play between Xbox One and Windows 10 PC for Versus Multiplayer. Cross-platform play also extends across the other Gears 5 modes to provide a great over-the-top three-player experience in Escape, an epic five-player Horde session, or three-player Campaign co-op

The interview answered several questions about the type of multiplayer content and creative decisions that went into some of the design aspects, along with the announcement the studio made earlier about Gear’s 5 having no loot boxes or an official season pass. You can read about it in full here.

And in case you’re wondering  no there won’t be a battle royale mode with Cleven stating, “Gears 5 does not include a Battle Royale mode.”

Mortal Kombat 11 Nightwolf Teaser Video Released

Teased just last week, NetherRealm Studios boss Ed Boon has finally released a new Mortal Kombat 11 Nightwolf teaser video, revealing our first true in-game look at the upcoming DLC character, Nightwolf.

There isn’t a whole lot much else to go with this other than assuming this is perhaps his victory pose he does at the end of a match. We expect to hear plenty more on the DLC character really soon. No new details about Sindel or Spawn have been released, so those hoping for a Comic con reveal may end up being disappointed, although there is still one day left for the event, so anything can happen.

Marvel’s Avengers Collector’s Edition Will Include a Captain America Statue, Here’s Our First Look

For those wondering if there’s going to be a Collectors Edition for the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game, you’ll be very happy to hear that there is, and pre-orders will begin later this year. While there’s not a whole lot of information in terms of what additional content it’ll include, we at least know now that the main meat of the package will include a 12” statue of Captain America, painted by the talented people over at Gentle Giant Studios.

For those who are having trouble reading the quote, it says the following:

“This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. – Steve Rogers, Captain America”

As to when this Collector’s Edition will become available for pre-order, the official Marvel’s Avengers Twitter confirmed that more details would be revealed this fall with pre-orders going live before the year is up.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated as more details are revealed, in the meantime if you happened to miss it, some leaked gameplay footage has surfaced, which you can watch right here. We also got our first look at some of the improved character visuals, and yes, they are an improvement.

Marvel’s Avengers: Ms. Marvel Confirmed, Here’s Our First Look

Many fans had speculated during the first reveal trailer for Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers, but now we have official confirmation that Kamala Khan’s Ms. Marvel will indeed play a role in the game, and we even have our first look!

For those unfamiliar with the character, Ms. Marvel debuted originally back in 1977, who’s first incarnation was none other than the currently known Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers. Since Ms. Marvel’s debut, many characters have taken up the mantle with the latest one being Kamala  Khan. In the original Marvel’s Avenger debut trailer, many had assumed that the voice behind the narration belonged to Kamala, and they were right as this was confirmed during the demo at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. For those wanting to get some proof to this confirmation, some more leaked footage surface and a screengrab of the character can be found below.

Interestingly enough, the shirt Kamala is wearing is that of the symbol belonging to the kree, which verifies that Captain Marvel does indeed exist in this universe.

Kamala is also a heavy fan of all the Marvel heroes, so it’d make sense she would be wearing the shirt of someone she idols. Whether Captain Marvel will make any appearance or be playable in the game is yet to be known. There were also rumors floating around prior to the E3 reveal that Ms. Marvel would be a playable character, but again this has yet to be officially confirmed by the developer, Crystal Dynamics.

Tekken 7 Player Count now at Over 4 Million

Bandai Namco, developers of the Tekken franchise, have reported that the Tekken 7 player count has reached over four million. This massive milestone for the game shows just how popular the fighting series continues to be with both hardcore series fans, and new players alike.

The Tekken 7 player count reached the three million mark in October 2018, and now that number of players has increased even further by over a one million more players. In a Tweet through the official Bandai Namco US Twitter account, the developer thanks players for their continued support.

Tekken 7 launched in March 2015, topping two million players more than two years later in October 2017. It’s interesting that the Tekken 7 player count has increased by roughly 1 million people each year since the game came out, indicating that Bandai Namco are doing everything right in order to foster a positive and engaged community.

Fighting games can have a short life span in the eyes of players if they aren’t well supported by the developer. The Street Fighter series is a shining example of how to foster a positive fighting game community, with professional tournaments, in-game events, and a steady stream of new characters.

The Tekken 7 player base has a number of competitive tournaments that host pro eSports players in the fighting game scene. The game even saw the addition of Negan from The Walking Dead universe earlier this year, a character who is arguable unsuitable for the series, but was added because Bandai Namco want to please their fans with big surprises and crossovers.

It’s unlikely that The Tekken 7 player count will increase to 5 million by October 2019, unless some truly special content is added.

Bethesda Reveals Details of Fallout 76 Future Changes – Meat Week

In their latest Inside the Vault blog post, Bethesda has revealed some details about Fallout 76 future changes, as well as new events coming to the game. So far Fallout 76 has seen few time limited events, but each one has been loved by players, who are always saying how hungry they are for more content.

Following the release of Patch 11 for Fallout 76, Bethesda has been looking through the feedback players are providing. Bethesda is working hard to produce fixes for most, if not all, of the bugs and issues players have found in the game to release as part of Fallout 76 future changes. However, they’re also very excited to talk about something coming to the game much sooner.

Meat Week

One of the biggest Fallout 76 future changes coming soon is Meat Week, a brand new in-game event that focuses on roasting meat. Luckily Humans aren’t on the menu, but they will be required to consume as much meat as is Humanly possible, and maybe even a little more than that.

The Super Mutant vendor, Grahm, wants to host the best possible party for Vault Dwellers around Appalachia. He needs players to head out and scour the land for as much meat as possible so he can fill his grill and provide the best barbecue ever as part of this carnivorous event.

The event itself is split into two Fallout 76 future changes: Grahm’s Meat Cook, and Primal Cuts.

Primal Cuts

Primal Cuts will be a new world event that will occur around Appalachia during Meat Week. Vault Dwellers will need to complete the event in order to collect meat and bring it to Grahm’s Meat Cook.

Once Meat Week is live, Primal Cuts will happen every 15 minutes around the map. Prime Meat will be available at each event, though the location will determine the level of Prime Beasts appearing in the event. This, Bethesda hopes, will allow players of all levels to enjoy the event without it feeling too easy, or too difficult.

Once players have some Prime Meat, they need to head to Grahm’s Meat Cook and drop it off for Legendary Scrip as a reward.

Grahm’s Meat Cook

The event, Grahm’s Meat Cook, will begin every hour once Meat Week is live. Since Grahm will be using all of his energy and focus cooking, it’s down to players to complete his other activities such as cleaning up the leftovers, gathering some feed for Chally the Moo Moo, extinguishing any fires he accidentally causes with his insane cooking, and providing some music for him to cook to. Bethesda has also said that more activities will be involved in Grahm’s Meat Cook, but they want to keep some as a surprise.

Making the party a success will earn players some barbecue-related rewards, which seem to include some seriously charred chef gear. The event has no combat, so there’s no need for players to worry about needing to fight off tough enemies on their own.

Fallout 76 Future Changes

With Quakecon 2019 approaching, Bethesda has reminded all Fallout 76 players that they’ll be discussing the game’s future during a panel there.

Be sure to check out our guide for grabbing the camera in Fallout 76 with the Tourist Trap Map. Otherwise stick with MP1ST for more on the game.

Anthem PTS Update Brings New Content to All Platforms

The latest Anthem PTS Update has brought a number of bug fixes and patches to PC players. At the same time Anthem players on other plaNforms are now experiencing brand new content that appears to be part of the pre-Cataclysm lead up, as detailed by Bioware some months ago.

Jesse Anderson, Community Manager for Anthem at Bioware, told players in the patch notes for the Anthem PTS Update that the core fixes would be for the crystal economy. Before this update, 1000 crystals were required in order to create one large one, but that has now been slashed in half so that only 500 small crystals are required. The change was made based on player feedback from the PTS.

Crystals are used to purchase items from the seasonal store, a vendor that will sell items for the duration of the Cataclysm, and for no longer. Crystals can still be earned at the same rate as before this Anthem PTS Update, but the change in economy means that players can buy items from the store much faster than before.

As with each update, Anderson offered players the chance to submit their feedback on the PTS via a survey link. This is what Bioware use to analyse data and build changes for Anthem from.

  • Economy modification to crystals: large crystal purchase changed to 500 crystals from 1000.
  • Large crystal conversion to small crystals changed from 1000 to 500.
  • Icon and UI updates for Seasonal Store and some cataclysm HUD elements.
  • Arenas and Inversions have been changed to reflect how they will be during the first week of the Cataclysm.

Today players have begun seeing new World Events on other platforms outside of the PTS. These World Events focus on crystal anomalies, and crystal enemies, all of which link into new Challenges in the game. These are believed to be linked to the pre-Cataclysm content that takes place 2 weeks before the full Cataclysm.

Bioware have given no word on whether these events are intended or not as of yet. Other anomalies such as tentacles in the sky, a space station, and foliage glitching into new areas, have been declared as bugs by the team at the developer. Players believe the new content will be officially announced soon, but for now they’re just enjoying something new in the game.

Marvel’s Avengers Gameplay Leaked From SDCC, Shows Off Thor

Yesterday, At the San Diego Comic0-Con, Square Enix debuted an updated Marvel’s Avengers demo based on what they showed at their E3 presentation. While there were no direct live streams, to no one’s surprise, someone has shared some footage of the gameplay debut giving us a more clearer look than the previous gameplay leak we got back at E3. Yes, that means Avengers gameplay leaked footage is now available.

Down below is some footage from two peoples perspective, and while they aren’t shot at the best angles, they do at least provide us with a much better look since the last leaked gameplay footage we got was nearly unwatchable. The footage down below gives us a good look at Thor’s gameplay, which we must say ourselves looks like an absolute blast to play. It ends with the Hulk being briefly shown before cutting off.

Marvels Avenger leaked gameplay part 1 from jimmy on Vimeo.

Marvels Avengers Demo Part 2 from jimmy on Vimeo.

Unfortunately the videos didn’t capture the full demo, which apparently went on for a bit longer. According to some comments made by the uploader on their YouTube channel, they were told to stop recording or they would get booted from the event seeing that this was supposed to be an exclusive for the attendees.

We did confirm yesterday though that the gameplay would become available for everyone right after Gamescom, which runs between August 20th and the 24th of this year. We’ll be sure to update you as soon as that happens, though in the meantime we can enjoy some leaked information as they become available from the Comic-Con event.

Marvel’s Avengers Game New Images Shows Graphical Improvements and Alternate Costumes

For those who weren’t to fond of the visuals for Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avenger game, you may be happy to know that as promised, the team is working on improving the visuals as shown in these leaked Marvel’s Avengers game new images from the Marvel SDCC panel.

During the original E3 reveal, many fans had voiced their dislike over how some of the characters looked, more specifically Black Widow. Given it’s not due for quite some time, now we knew the game was in the early alpha stage of development, meaning the team still had a ways to go before giving us a final product. And while we haven’t gotten any actual gameplay footage shown yet, attendees of this years San Diego Comic Con were given a new look at the demo during the SDCC event along with some additional teases in terms of content for the game. One noticeable change though that viewers quickly pointed out  was the visual model for Black Widow, with many agreeing that it had been an improvement fro the prior E3 event.

While it may not be the best quality image out there, you can definitely make out some of the small changes, especially near the eyes and chin. They’re small changes, but they are an improvement nonetheless. A few of the attendees themselves even admit that she looks different.

“They did update it. And that’s the keyword: update. They didn’t change her face or anything just edited it” Said Reddit user CaptainPhantasma21, while another Reddit who was also at the event stated that she looked hotter and had major improvements.

Along with this fresh look at Black Widow we have also gotten our first look a some of the alternate costumes that’ll be available. During the panel, the team showed off different costumes for each character although at the time of writing this, only the Hulk costumes have leaked online, courtesy of the Avengers subreddit.

First one is a Mr Joe Fixit costume, although the Hulk doesn’t appear to be sporting the Grey color he is in the least wearing the outfit.

The next one many aren’t sure of where its from, though it is speculated its his appearance that he made in the House of M comics.

What do you think of these changes so far? For those looking for actual gameplay, we’ll have wait near the end of next month to see it according to Marvel.

Next Halo MCC Flight to Focus on Firefight Due Later This Month

After a successful first flight for the Halo Insider Program on Steam, 343 Industries, the current developers of the Halo franchise and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, have revealed plans for the next Halo MCC flight. The next flighting goal for 343 Industries is Firefight matchmaking for PC players.

The first Halo MCC flight invited PC players to try out the mission ‘Tip of the Spear’ from Halo Reach, and that’s all. This flight has been very successful according to 343 Industries, despite the flight client being illegally distributed early on. 60.7% of all players invited took part in the flight, with the mission being played a total of 1,757 times over the course of the event, generating a survey response rating of 4.6/5.

With this flight 343 Industries have learned exactly what it means to bring Halo Reach to PC players, and how scalable their own systems are across multiple hardware configurations. The developer is taking all this on board with the next Halo MCC flight, which will see them scale the multiplayer elements of Halo Reach to a much larger number of players than they’re used to, and a wider range of hardware.

The target is to have the next Halo MCC flight ready and available for later this month, but 343 Industries have stressed that this could change. Their ideal milestone is to hold the Firefight Halo MCC flight in July. But, as we all know, there are so many variables with games development that unforeseen issues could easily push this back to later in 2019.

Right now 343 Industries is evaluating and reviewing candidates for this next Halo MCC flight. These candidates have the core features to support the flight, but other factors could come into play, hence the review process.

It’s expected that this next Halo MCC flight will be an updated and improved version of the Firefight mode from Halo Reach. In the original Firefight mode, up to four players teamed up to take on waves of Covenant enemies across vast, campaign-inspired maps. Vehicles were available in these matches, and each one expanded an ongoing story that evolved week after week when Halo Reach originally launched. Matchmaking was important for this mode, because it linked up players of similar abilities, allowing those who have never met to help each other progress.

The end goal of this, and the next, Halo MCC flight is to bring Halo Reach to PC players. While the game isn’t a fan favourite, it’s certainly an important entry to the series. The game tells the story of a group of Spartans in one of humanity’s early encounters with the Covenant, the major antagonists of the Halo games. Hopefully these flights will help bring an exciting and competent version of the game to an entirely new audience.

Hell Let Loose Update 1 Brings New Map and More

Black Matter Studios have released Hell Let Loose Update 1, the first ever update for the World War 2 first person shooter. The update brings a host of new changes, the biggest of which is a brand new map.

Utah Beach is the highlight of Hell Let Loose Update 1, a brand new map filled with Light tanks, resource nodes, and a number of smaller fixes that will vastly improve gameplay. This is a pattern Black Matter Studios intend to replicate with future updates, mixing brand new content and bug fixes or smaller new features.

Black Matter Studios say that they’ve created Hell Let Loose Update 1 from all of the feedback they’ve received for the game. This feedback has come from Reddit, the official Discord, Twitter, and even just players contacting the studio directly.

Thanks to the successful early access launch of Hell Let Loose, Black Matter Studios have been able to take on some new team members, enabling them to improve the level of quality in the content that’s already available, as well as the new content they create from now on.

The full list of changes in Hell Let Loose Update 1 are as follows.

Major Updates

Utah Beach Map

This map has been hugely fun to develop. It mixes the Atlantic Wall defensive network with beach terrain, with sunken countryside, urban fights, and lots of new challenges – including navigating drainage ditches and bodies of water. We’re also excited to see how it plays out in the soon to be implemented second gamemode, Invasion.

“Luchs” Light German Tank

This thing is an infantry death machine. The name of the game of the Luchs is hit and run. Firing an explosive auto-cannon – it’ll rip apart infantry and lighter armored vehicles with ease.

Stuart American Light Tank

Similar to a more lightly armored Sherman, the Stuart relies on its speed to quickly flank and strike. Using speed to strike will be crucial to survivability.

Resource Nodes

Fuel, Munitions and Manpower Resource Nodes added to the Engineer role list of deployables. You’ll be able to see their modifier for resource generation on the HUD and on the map screen.

Starting resources for teams have been reduced to 500 from 1000 in order to better balance out resource quantity and encourage resource node placement.

Make a Splash With Water!

Water now functions in game to slow players down as it gets deeper. Submerging yourself will also cause you to drown.

Gameplay and Performance Updates

General

  • Reworked tracers for better performance, visual quality, depth and light. They are now 3D.
  • Fix for known config file exploits (fog removal etc.)
  • Improved visibility of bullet hit effects at 50m, 75m, 100m, and 125m distances.

Performance

  • Optimised Smoke Grenade FX
  • Continued radical optimisations for both texture streaming and poly count across every map and prop.

Functionality

  • Added FOV slider (with first-person FOV compensation). Currently boosting the FOV to 120 offsets the muzzle flash FX in FPP. We’re going to introduce a fix for this.
  • Server browser now displays better in lower resolutions.
  • Fixed sector capture cool-down UI issue where map icon could appear in the wrong state.
  • Changed nameplate settings options so that these should be clearer to users.
  • Compass HUD element has been upgraded.
  • Loadout HUD element has been upgraded.
  • Scoreboard and end of round screens have been upgraded to better show all information.
  • Made VoIP chat name colours better visible on deployment screen.
  • Allowed players to disable all icons in HUD.
  • All in-game URLs now launched through Steambrowser.
  • Adjustment for Depth of Field when bandaging.
  • If leaning when deploying a LMG the player no longer remains in a lean.
  • Dismembering critically wounded friendlies no longer counts as a TK.
  • Added option to allow you to hard toggle chat box visibility.
  • Updated medic revive icon.
  • Tank UIs have been updated and will continue updates.
  • Tanks have a new reticle for the Hull MG.

SFX

  • Artillery sounds re-worked in order to create a less muddy dynamic range with increased modular debris fall-off.
  • Close bullet fly-by sounds have been reworked.
  • Hearing an impact sound when giving up has been fixed.

Hurtgen Forest

  • Overhaul of central SP’s to introduce stronger fortifications and more solid cover.
  • Fixed small clipping issues.
  • Fixed locations players could become stuck on level geometry.
  • Added fog to better help with longer range depth perception.

Sainte-Marie-Du-Mont

  • Altered layout of hedges to better allow tank access.
  • Lowered total sun brightness to reduce clipping on highlights.
  • Fixed locations players could become stuck on level geometry.

Foy

  • Fixed tank collision issues on small props
  • Added select cover and trenches in locations that caused meat-grinder pushes through open ground.
  • Fixed locations players could become stuck on level geometry.

Visual Improvements

  • Tweaked vehicle main cannon fire shake so that it doesn’t roll so excessively
  • Added Depth of Field effects added to weapons for hipfire and ADS
  • Post-processing effect has been added to all UI screens to give them added vibrancy and visual quality.
  • Fix for explosion FX playing on the wrong axis – causing majority of the explosion to occur in the wrong direction.
  • Starting to overhaul the main menu screen in preparation for cosmetic/progression systems.
  • Artillery explosions have increased debris (now matching the audio).

Animation

  • Fixed delay on BAR ADS animation if user had reloaded immediately before ADS
  • Luger magazine now present in TPP for reload animations

Bug Fixes

  • Improved network/server optimisation to help improve situations where users would see other players moving in a stuttering/’teleporting’ fashion depending on object relevancy and priority
  • Fix issue where tank shells could delay 1-2 seconds after impact before detonating
  • Fix for issue where tracers may not be correctly aligned with the direction of fire for LMGs and Tank MGs
  • Increased character limit on scoreboard from 16 to 20
  • Fixed issue where engineers could dismantle pre-placed tank resupply stations
  • Fixed issue where hit indicator did not correctly work with sniper rounds
  • Fixed issue where garrisons did not consume commander airdrop supplies
  • Fixed issue where player could be listed as ‘no platoon’ on the scoreboard after team switch
  • Fixed issue where users could see the other teams resource values on their map after team switch
  • Fixed some instances of overly aggressive grass LODing
  • Fixed issue where users could join an enemy unit based on timing specific actions
  • ‘Change Map’ window can no longer be stuck on screen if active when a game ends by victory
  • Fixed problem where users could hear smoke grenade audio from a previous life
  • Fixed the issue with the player remaining in the idle animation if he sprints whilst crouched as seen from the FPP
  • Fixed the issue with reviving a player who was crouched before he shot as he would appear to jitter in TPP after having been revived
  • Fixed the issue with driving over the scorched craters causing the effect to appear in/on the driver’s viewport
  • Fixed the issue with scorched earth effect visible over wrecked tanks
  • Fixed cases where it was difficult to determine speaking players in the UI.

Known Issues

  • Sometimes (1/10 chance) when deploying a resource node, the node will be invisible and cannot be deconstructed although it still provides resources to the deploying team. This will be hotfixed.
  • Firing into water produces a bullet hit from the surface beneath the water in addition to a water particle.

Plants vs Zombies 3 Confirmed and Now in Pre-Alpha, Early Screens Show 4 Types of Currencies

We all knew it was coming, and now it’s official! EA has launched the web portal for Plants vs. Zombies 3! In it, PopCap Games announced that a pre-alpha is underway, and even rolled out an FAQ for it listing the devices needed to run it, what the PvZ 3 pre-alpha is, and even why the studio is making it.

Why are you making Plants vs. Zombies 3?

Because we love Plants vs. Zombies™! At PopCap, we’ve been working on PvZ for years and want to bring our beloved plants and zombies to current players and the next generation of players everywhere. We’re hard at work testing out a lot of fun things that we want your feedback on, and hope you will come on this journey with us!

What is the Plants vs. Zombies 3 Pre-Alpha?

Pre-Alpha is where we give the community a first look at the early development of PvZ 3 and get your feedback. Any content you see is subject to change and will not appear identical when the game launches worldwide.

When will Plants vs. Zombies 3 be available worldwide?

We’re still testing different features of PvZ 3 and can’t wait to show you more! We want to make sure we have everything ready and in tip-top shape for you to enjoy, so we’ll let you know when we have a worldwide release date. Until then, make sure you are in the know by signing up here.

What devices can download and play the Plants vs. Zombies 3 Pre-Alpha?

You’ll need an Android device that is at least a Galaxy S7 or higher for specs, with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or higher in order to play. Unfortunately, the PvZ 3 Pre-Alpha is unavailable for players on iOS at this time.

To play the PvZ 3 Pre-Alpha you must be logged into the same Google Play Games account that you downloaded the Pre-Alpha on, or you will not be able to access the game.

I wasn’t able to get into the Plants vs. Zombies 3 Pre-Alpha. How can I play?

If you missed out on a spot, fear not! A limited number of downloads will be available for players in phases. If the option to download isn’t available at first, be sure to check the page another day for your chance to play.

Will my game progress be wiped and why?

We will be making a lot of changes throughout the game’s development and some of these changes will necessitate having to reset progress.

Is the Plants vs. Zombies 3 Pre-Alpha free-to-play?

Yes! The PvZ 3 Pre-Alpha is free-to-play.

Will there be microtransactions?

There are no microtransactions during Pre-Alpha.

What is happening to Plants vs. Zombies 2?

All the content you love in PvZ 2 will still be available.

Over on the Plants vs. Zombies subreddit, user Hexagon-77 posted a set of early screenshots of the game. Note that it is in pre-alpha so the game is in early stages of development, and as such, the graphics, art style and whatnot, are nowhere near final.

If you check the upper part of the screenshots, you’ll see that there are four different kinds of resources (read: microtransaction-type mechanics) available (pointed out by user CondoSlime). While the game is still in pre-alpha, it’s a good indication (maybe) of where the game is headed. Then again, franchise fans should be used to it by now to some degree, right?

Are you excited to try Plants vs. Zombies 3? Let us know down in the comments.

An In-Depth Look at GTA Online The Diamond Casino and Resort

Rockstar Games have today announced the next big expansion for Grand Theft Auto Online. GTA Online The Diamond Casino and Resort will bring a host of new missions for players to take on, choices to make, a casino to spend their cash in, and membership to take advantage of. Rockstar Games have released a trailer for the new expansion, watch it below and read on for further details about what new content is being added.

GTA Online The Diamond Casino and Resort goes live on July 23 2019. The expansion brings a new location to Vinewood, The Diamond Casino and Resort, where players can rub shoulders with the rich, and spend as much of their cash as possible.

Membership

In order to gain access to The Diamond Casino and Resort, players will need to purchase a membership. The standard membership will allow you to gain entry, and, as Rockstar Games put it, ‘meaningfully raise the standard of living for the one percent.

However, players can also purchase VIP membership for GTA Online The Diamond Casino and Resort. VIP membership grants players access to the penthouse, an entirely new level above the one percent. This is where the rich of the rich gather to play, and it’s not for the weak willed.

All memberships come with access to the GTA Online Casino and Resort parking garage, a luxury area in which to store your car while spending time at The Diamond Casino and Resort. Players can also take advantage of a 24/7 valet service alongside this parking garage, meaning there’s never a need to duck down into where those outside the one percent might see you.

Lewd behaviour is encouraged at The Diamond Casino and Resort, at least according to Rockstar Games. Ordering champagne, spraying half of it over the clientele, and downing the rest, will only warrant applause from the nearby guards.

An aircraft concierge will take care of all your needs should you want to arrive and leave via the landing pad on top of The Diamond Casino and Resort’s roof.

The cleaners are paid to be discreet, meaning any less than legal activity is okay by the management, as long as the police don’t find out.

Members can order a Diamond Limousine to take them anywhere they want after a heavy night in The Diamond Casino and Resort. Any resident members could even leave and take a Limousine back to their apartment at The Diamond Casino and Resort, where they can have a party at the drop of a hat, all organised by the management.

Residents will also gain access to the VIP Lounge, and incredibly exclusive area. Here the best fo the best mingle and party, and no one else is allowed in to disturb them. In addition, residents can play on the high-limits tables at The Diamond Casino and Resort, which offer far more excitement than those everyone else is allowed to play at.

Penthouses

Players can purchase a penthouse in the new location in GTA Online The Diamond Casino and Resort. These penthouses can be equipped with anything, from a home cinema and hot tub, to an office space, private arcade games, and personal bar. The master bedroom in all penthouse suites are located on the top floor of The Diamond Casino and Resort, giving players spectacular views. However, there’s also a spare bedroom for that friend who keeps clinging on to your fame, equipped with a personal wardrobe of their own items.

The Casino

In GTA Online The Diamond Casino and Resort, players are going to care most about one thing, the casino. This is where everyone can go to spend their hard earned cash on the huge range of games available, from table games such as roulette, black jack, and poker, to reflex testing slot machines. Digital horse racing makes players feel like they’re at the races, without the need to mingle with the common folk, and the lucky wheel gives everyone a guaranteed reward once a day.

Casino Store

Finally we come to the casino store, where players can purchase new, exclusive items to show off to everyone else in GTA Online. Clothes, artwork, and golden weapons, all added with GTA Online The Diamond Casino and Resort, can be purchased with chips won from playing games in the casino.

Story

The story in GTA Online The Diamond Casino and Resort focuses on the location itself. Players will come to Vinewood to take advantage of the facilities, and end up in the middle of a business deal that is going terribly wrong. Someone wants to purchase The Diamond Casino and Resort, but before they do so, they’re going to try to run it into the ground and buy it for the lowest price possible.
