While we got the Watch Dogs Legion gameplay walkthrough, Ubisoft wasn’t done there. At its E3 2019 press conference, the publisher also announced the Watch Dogs Legion release date via a new trailer.
In case you didn’t see it, the Watch Dogs Legion release date is pegged for March 6, 2020.

At today’s Ubisoft E3 2019 press conference, the publisher revealed our first-ever look at Watch Dogs Legion gameplay!

A fan favorite game mode from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and 3 is making a return in this latest iteration. Yes, as the headline states, this year’s Call of Duty (Modern Warfare), will see the return of the Modern Warfare 2019 Spec Ops mode!
In an interview with Geoff Kieghley during E3 Youtube Live Stream, Infinity Ward’s Studio Narrative Director Taylor Kurosaki confirmed that Spec Ops would be once again be returning although this time everything is in a shared universe, which explains why the game is lacking a Zombie Mode.
“It’s one game, its one consistent universe for the entirety of the game. Its not a bunch of modes you play, you are playing Modern Warfare. No zombies because the zombies wouldn’t fit in the world we in in today” Taylor said, “Whether or not you’re playing in Co-Op, or Multiplayer, or single player, you’re playing in the same world, the rules are all the same”
The team then went on to say that the Specs Ops mode would be like “something we haven’t seen before” saying that they have taken the dial for the mode and cranked it all the up to 11. They stressed how the game as a whole is very consistent between every mode when it comes from a narrative perspective.

The Phantasy Star Online 2 Western release seems to be for Xbox One and PC only for now, as SEGA’s website is up but doesn’t even mention the PS4.
SEGA has officially launched the English version website of Phantasy Star Online 2, although at the moment its pretty bare-bones besides the recent announcement trailer. What maybe a little surprising though is that the website currently only displays the western release only coming to Xbox and PC, with no indication that we will see the PS4 version, which launched a little over three years ago in Japan. And that’s not to say the game wasn’t a hit on the PS4 either as it only recently hit 1 Million users this year on the platform.
The exclusion of the PS4 version may perhaps stem from the fact that the Xbox One and PC releases are slated to bring over cross-play, something that Sony up until more recently, didn’t really support when it came to playing with Xbox. This, of course, is just mere speculation on my part, though if the game was coming to the West for PS4 you’d think SEGA would at least make a mention of it.
SEGA did though confirm that at this time there is nothing to announce for a English release outside of North America in a recent tweet.

A bit frustrating indeed, although with the Xbox not being region locked its possible that other regions can just download it from a different storefront. Unless of course they block IP’s that aren’t from their respective region of the game.
Phantasy Star Online 2 is set to launch in the West in Spring of 2020 on the Xbox One and PC.
It has now been officially announced that the first episode of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be launching next year.
During the Square Enix Final Fantasy concert a new trailer was showcased and at the end it was confirmed to that FF7R id officially launching on March 3rd . You can catch the trailer that aired during the Orchestral concert below.
Whats interesting is that the trailer is confirming that the title is indeed a PS4 exclusive. Now it was originally revealed that Playstation 4 would get the title first, so its possible this is still the case and listing the PS4 as the only platform is solely for marketing purposes. We do expect to hear and see more about Final Fantasy 7 Remake later tomorrow during the Square Enix conference.
Bethesda seems to have saved the best for last. At its E3 2019 press conference, the publisher announced not only the DOOM Eternal release date, but even unveiled a new multiplayer mode called “Battlemode.”
DOOM Eternal will be out this November 22 for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. As for the DOOM Eternal multiplayer, Bethesda is handling it differently, as two players will be able to play as demons, and go up against a fully kitted out player to take him out. Introducing BATTLEMODE, DOOM Eternal’s brand-new 2 versus 1 multiplayer experience built from the ground up at id Software. A fully-armed DOOM Slayer faces off against two player-controlled demons, duking it out over three rounds of intense first-person combat.
Once we get more info regarding Battlemode we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
Here’s a weird announcement: at Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference, the company started talking about the latest tech, and segued into what it calls “Orion,” which is a streaming engine/technology that will offer a better streaming experience regardless of game or platform.
Bethesda then proceeded to show us a demo of DOOM being streamed on a mobile device with virtually no latency, and at 60 frames-per-second (according to Bethesda). Here it is in action:
Bethesda says that players can sign up and test Orion out for themselves via the SlayersClub website.
At Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference, Machine Games took the stage to the Wolfenstein Youngblood release date, and sprung a new gameplay trailer as well.
Youngblood will be set in the ’80s, and will for the first time, feature co-op! Same as always, prepare for lots of Nazis to kill, but this time with a friend. Here’s our first look at Wolfenstein Youngblood.
Wolfenstein Youngblood will be out this July 26 on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
At today’s Bethesda E3 2019 press conference, survival horror auteur Shinji Mikami announced his latest game titled “Ghost Wire Tokyo.”
As one can expect, it’s a horror game, and is heavily Japanese themed. Watch the reveal trailer below.
No release date for Ghost Wire Tokyo has been revealed so far, but once we know more, we’ll keep you posted.
As part of Bethesda’s Fallout 76 announcements during the publisher’s E3 2019 press conference, Bethesda announced that a Fallout 76 battle royale mode is coming to the game!
It’ll allow 52-player battles, and will be free for everyone. If that wasn’t enough, gamers can try Fallout 76 for free starting tomorrow until June 17.
This battle royale mode will be called “Nuclear Winter,” and will be coming to Fallout 76 at some point down the line.
At Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference, the publisher announced that a Fallout 76 new expansion will be out this fall, and will be free for everyone who owns the game. Called “Wastelanders,” this Fallout 76 new expansion will bring in NPCs into the game!
According to Bethesda, we can expect new weapons, new questlines, and lots more stuff in Wastelanders.

At today’s Microsoft E3 2019 press conference, Microsoft not only announced a ton of new games, and the next-gen Xbox (!), but even a new iteration of the company’s vaunted Xbox Elite controller! Officially called the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 (we’ll call it Xbox Elite Controller 2), it will feature a rechargeable battery built-in, and a lot of new features!
Additional new features include adjustable-tension thumbsticks, interchangeable components, 40-hour battery life, and lots more! Check out the official specs below.

According to Microsoft, the Xbox Elite Controller 2 release date is set for October 28, 2019, and will retail for $179.99. You can pre-order it on the official Xbox site now.

Just a few weeks ago, we reported on a rumor that Borderlands 2 campaign DLC will be released for free by Gearbox in order to bridge that game to the upcoming Borderlands 3. Well, today, that rumor is now a reality!
In a press release, 2K Games announced that the Borderlands 2 campaign DLC called “Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary” is out now, and will be free until July 8. And as expected, it will bridge Borderlands 2 to BL3!
Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary takes place shortly after the events of the main story in Borderlands 2. Sanctuary is under siege, the Vault Map has been stolen, and a toxic gas is poisoning Pandora. You’ll step back into the boots of legendary Vault Hunters Maya, Salvador, Axton, Zer0, Gaige or Krieg to battle new bosses, explore new areas, and collect new loot, including an entirely new tier beyond Legendary. Join up with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders to take on a deranged villain hell-bent on claiming the Vault Map for himself.
According to 2K, the DLC will be free until July 8 at 11:59 p.m. PDT, and then will be available at $14.99 after that.
Who’s ready for next-gen? At today’s Microsoft E3 2019 press briefing, Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, announced that the next Xbox console, code-named “Project Scarlett,” will launch with Halo Infinite!

At today’s Microsoft E3 2019 press conference, Microsoft unveiled the new game Game of Thrones scribe George RR Martin and From Software (Dark Souls) called Elden Ring, which was leaked way beforehand.

This is pegged for release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, though no official release date has been given yet.
During Microsoft’s E3 press conferences Phil Spencer, executive vice-president of Gaming at Microsoft took to the stage to unveil Xbox’s next-gen console
Project Scarlet. Similar to the reveal of the Xbox One X at previous E3’s, Phil went on the detail some of the specs for the console, which can be found below.
Phil ensured the crowd that the system would mainly be focused on the games, which is a call back to the mistakes that they have made with the reveal of Xbox One being mostly focused on TV aspects. This of course stance has definitely changed over the past few years with the introduction of backwards compatibility for the Xbox One and the mass purchases of multiple game studios in the recent years.
No doubt this console is sporting some rather amazing specs, one that could certainly compete with the rumored specs of the PlayStation 5. Xbox Scarlet is set to launch next year during the Holidays. We expect to hear plenty more as we get closer to launch, especially at next year’s E3.
Microsoft seems to be bringing a bunch of bombs to E3, and possibly one of the most unexpected announcements have been made, and it’s none other than Phantasy Star Online 2 is heading out West!
According to the Phantasty Star Online 2 reveal trailer for Xbox One, it’ll be out in 2020, and will offer cross-play!
As one can expect, Phantasy Star Online 2 will be free to play, so everyone and anyone with an Xbox One can enjoy it.
