After Electronic Arts’ recent announcement of Battlefield Labs, it looks like more information about it is coming out of the woodwork. EA has invited select content creators to a digital event for Battlefield Labs, confirming a few things that weren’t shared at the official reveal.
Content creator Flakfire has recently released a video about Battlefield Labs, and he got to confirm a few things with DICE and EA at the virtual event.
Following the announcement of Battlefield Labs, which is Electronic Arts' new testing platform for the franchise, some might have been skeptical whether fans still wanted a new Battlefield game following the disappointing releases of Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield V.
Battlefield 2025’s Combat and Destruction Are the First Things Players Will Be Checking in the Playtest
In the video, Flakfire confirmed that he was told thahilt the first test (which is ongoing now from what we know) will look at combat and destruction. While combat is a no-brainer, it’s interesting that DICE is already seeking feedback to the destruction elements this early on.
While nothing about the destruction has been revealed so far, we did see how it works based on the Battlefield Labs announcement video. Based on the super-short clip, it’s already leagues ahead of Battlefield 2042 regarding destruction.
In the same event, Flakfire was also told that Battlefield Labs will likely continue past the launch of the new Battlefield game, and how it could evolve into a platform for expansions beyond the core games. While this seems like something obvious the developers would do, it’s a nice confirmation nonetheless. This should ensure DICE and the community are working in tandem when it comes to balance changes, new features and more.
This is but the start of the deluge of news we’re hoping comes our way regarding the new Battlefield. While reception to Battlefield Labs has been positive so far, EA CEO Andrew Wilson understands why there is trepidation among the Battlefield community regarding the Battlefield game.
There’s no release date for Battlefield 2025, EA has confirmed that Battlefield Labs will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S aside from PC, before April 2026.
With yesterday's announcement of Battlefield Labs, some might have assumed that it'll be just for PC, similar to past Battlefield games' CTE (Community Test Environment).
Back in September 2023, a Bethesda release schedule was leaked, mentioning Dishonored 3, a new DOOM game, and even a remake/remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Rocksteady’s New Batman Game Won’t Be Released Anytime Soon
According to the Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier (article behind a paywall), Rocksteady is working on a single-player game based on Batman, though the new game is “years away from landing.”
It is not mentioned whether this is based on the Arkham franchise or an entirely new take on Batman. If I had to hazard a guess, it’ll be based on the Arkham series, given that Rocksteady would be counting on brand recognition and nostalgia to ensure success—something the studio desperately needs after the massive money pit that was Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Rocksteady and the studio’s new project isn’t the only new bit of info from the report, as it also mentions the in-development Wonder Woman game.
Last year, we reported on how Ubisoft confirmed that they are working on multiple Assassin's Creed remakes.
Wonder Woman Game Gets Rebooted
Announced in 2021, the new Wonder Woman game is in development by Monolith Productions (Middle-earth: Shadw of Mordor), and is said to be a single-player, action-adventure game that won’t incorporate live service elements. Well, that was the plan in 2021.
According to the report, the project was rebooted “early last year” and had already cost WB more than $100 million per people who wished to remain anonymous. It is said to be “years away from release” if it ever makes it out to retail.
An earlier build of the Wonder Woman game tried implementing Monolith’s “Nemesis” system from the Shadow of War games, where the heroine would befriend enemies. That idea has since been scrapped in favor of a “more traditional action-adventure game.”
While not outright cancelled, the fate of the Wonder Woman video game is in question, due to Monolith’s leadership and issues “surrounding the game’s technology.”
It looks to be some of Warner Bros. biggest superhero games are years from release, so prepare for a long wait.
While Rocksteady’s next game might be years away from release, a report from last year mentioned how the studio is working on a Hogwarts Legacy: Director’s Cut version, which might be what’s keeping the studio busy.
Embark Studios has already released an update for The Finals this week, but today another new patch is out for players. This patch is The Finals update 1.000.073 (PS4 version 1.11) and it’s out now for consoles and coming soon to PC. The update in question increases XP for those doing Wheel of Love contracts.
Konami's remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, has a release date—at least according to the leaks.
The Finals Update 1.000.073 Fixes XP Earned for Players
XP Fixed!
Hey Contestants! :NamaTama_Hugs:
As many of you have noticed and pointed out, our Wheel of Love contracts are a bit stingy when it comes to XP!
We have just begun rolling out an update to fix this. It is already live on consoles and will be live on PC in a bit (as Steam is having some issues that prevent us from updating). Once live, the Wheel of Love contracts will be adjusted to give you the same amount of total daily XP as the normal daily contracts would have! :namaheart:
Do note that if you update the game on console, before the update is live on Steam, you will not be able to get crossplay matches.
We’re just over halfway through the season, Contestants! Let’s ready up, don our most romantic outfits, and hop back into the Arena.
Next week MP1st is sure to update its readers when a new update for The Finals is out.
2022’s Capcom Fighting Collection was pretty well-received, serving as a ten-game compilation of some Capcom fighters many gamers might not have been too familiar with.
Techland is celebrating the third anniversary of Dying Light 2 by releasing a new patch for the game. This is patch 1.21 which is update 1.062 on PS5 and XSX and update 1.62 for PS4 and X1 owners. A new anniversary-themed frame is added in Photo Mode plus new rewards and bundles are also available.
Read on to see what else is in store in this new update.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach's release is set to arrive this year, though PlayStation and Kojima Productions have yet to set an official date.
Dying Light 2 Update 1.062 Celebrates the Game’s Third Anniversary
It’s the third anniversary for Dying Light 2: Stay Human, and last week was the 10th anniversary of the franchise! Three years (and a few updates) later, we want to thank you for your constant support and head straight to the good stuff. So without further ado, let’s see what we have prepared for you in this time of celebration!
Anniversary Features
For starters, head over to Photo Mode, where you can find a brand new, Anniversary-themed frame! Don’t be shy, either; we want to see your fanciest virtual photos created with this new addition. Be sure to follow us on our social media and maybe soon enough you’ll have an opportunity to put it to the real test.
The new frame is also a great opportunity to take photos of the new billboards we have put up around the Villedor! Reckon you can find them all? And last but not least, we’ve added new bounties for you, so head to Pilgrim Outpost to find them and during our celebrations, there will be a series of festive events – both in Dying Light 2: Stay Human and Dying Light!
Tower Raid Permanent Release (Coming February 19)
During our anniversary celebrations is the best moment to release Tower Raid as a standalone mode to the game, so expect it to be live later this month. We gathered tons of feedback from you and incorporated it into the game. You will soon be able to access Tower Raid through the main menu, where you will be transported to the Raid Hub. It’s a new place where you can enter the Tower Raid and visit shops associated with its progression. Here, you can find a familiar face — Jai. If you don’t know, he’s a vendor with his own persistent Reputation progression and an inventory designed specifically for Tower Raid and its characters (new perks, tools, and weapons). While in the Raid Hub, make sure to also check what new vendor, Sola, has to offer — complete her assignments to obtain rewards that transfer into the base game.
When you feel ready to take on the Tower Raid, it’s time to pick your character, perks, and all the details that will shape your next run from the board. Alongside the two modes you already know, Normal and Elite, we’ve added a third: Quick, which will run you through 4 floors and a rooftop fight. Or if you want a deeper and longer challenge, try Elite Mode: navigate 12 floors on Hard or Nightmare difficulty with additional modifiers on top.
And if you choose Quick or Normal, you can also choose a difficulty level (Easy, Normal, Hard, or Nightmare) for each Tower Raid run. And finally, we’ve added new floors to the rotation! We can’t wait for you to play it when it releases later this month.
2022’s Capcom Fighting Collection was pretty well-received, serving as a ten-game compilation of some Capcom fighters many gamers might not have been too familiar with.
New Rewards and Bundles
The anniversary celebration is on, and it keeps on giving! You still have a chance to collect the Lunar Offerings until February 12. Unlock the Snake Warrior Bundle complete with a whole moto biker outfit for Aiden on Pilgrim Outpost. And remember to check your in-game stash to find an optional, snake-themed makeover for Lawan!
Make sure to visit the Pilgrim Outpost’s Armory for brand new additions for both Dying Light and Dying Light 2: Stay Human, too. And that’s still not all: we’ve prepared some new bundles and weapon packs that will be available for you later this month.

Tomorrow, November 8, marks five years since Death Stranding first launched on the PS4.
Death Stranding 2 Will Unsurprisingly Feature Excessive Violence
Death Stranding 2 On the Beach has officially been rated in South Korea (via -LastGrail-). To no one’s surprise, the game has received a “Not available to minors” status for the following reasons (via Reddit):
Excessive violence
There is red blood and bodily harm during combat using weapons during the game.
Excessive vulgar language, profanity, and swearing
There is excessive vulgar vulgarity and swearing during the game (f**k, a**h**e, s**t, d**n, h**ys**t, etc.)
Direct drug use
Smoking and drinking scenes are depicted during the game.
While the rating reasoning isn’t particularly special, the fact that the game has received a rating at all is a surprise and may indicate that the release is nearing. This is especially true when we see a rating coming from South Korea, where it has been common to see a rating for a game appear 3-4 months before an official release. If that’s the case, it would make sense for Sony, given they can have Death Stranding 2 release in Q2, and then have Ghost of Yotei for Q3 to Q4, depending on whether Grand Theft Auto 6 makes its targeted “Fall 2025” release window.
With rumors swirling that PlayStation will be hosting a State of Play next week, we’d say there’s a high probability we’ll see Death Stranding 2 On the Beach there.
The question, though, is if a release date is announced, will it compete with Konami’s Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater now that we know it’s releasing this fall? A remake of one of Kojima’s classics against a sequel for his latest IP? That is an interesting thought, though the games are different enough from one another that they’ll likely be fine releasing close to one another.
As of now, Death Stranding 2 On the Beach has no release date outside of a 2025 release window, and it will be launching exclusively on the PS5.
Revealed during Death Stranding 2's Special Stage presentation at TGS 2024, Australian filmmaker George Miller, the visionary behind the Mad Max franchise, has been confirmed as the newest cast to join Death Stranding 2.

If you haven’t played the game yet, go read our review where we state, “The launch price is fair considering the average campaign length of around five hours, and its roguelike mechanics keep things fresh for each run. If you want a faster-paced turn-based game, then this is one to check out.”
Once Dotemu releases another patch, we’ll let our readers know.
Last year, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick mentioned that Grand Theft Auto 6 was set to be released sometime in “Fall 2025.” If you assumed it would get delayed since it is a Grand Theft Auto game, you’re not alone.
But apparently, the game is still on track for release later in the year, according to Zelnick.
The first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 has amazed fans with stunning graphics, raising some concerns about its performance on current-gen consoles—particularly the Xbox Series S, which is known to have lower specs compared to the Xbox Series X and PS5.
Take-Two Interactive’s Latest Earnings Report Reiterate GTA 6 Is Set for “Fall 2025” Launch
Speaking to IGN ahead of the financial report, Strauss Zelnick admits that while there is a risk of “slippage,” they still “feel good” about the Fall 2025 release window. “Look, there’s always a risk of slippage and I think as soon as you say words like absolutely, you jinx things,” Zelnick said, though followed it up with by stating, “So we feel really good about it.”
When pressed for an update on how development of GTA 6 is going, Zelnick didn’t really offer anything new, other than Rockstar seeks “perfection” which is something the exec mentioned before.
“Look, I think the game is eagerly anticipated both internally and externally,” Zelnick said. “We know that Rockstar seeks perfection. I never claim success before it occurs. I’m fond of saying arrogance is the enemy of continued success, so we’re all running scared and looking over our shoulders and we know that the competition is not asleep. Our whole organization is super excited.”
Needless to say, aside from gamers, the entire industry is keeping a close eye on GTA 6’s release window since no one wants to get trampled by the Grand Theft Auto behemoth. The same goes for GTA 5. Game publishers are keeping their release dates close to their chests since they want to avoid releasing near the same time as GTA 6.
In December of 2023, Rockstar Games unveiled our first look at Grand Theft Auto 6, which quickly amassed millions of views.
In the same report, Take-Two also revealed that Grand Theft Auto 5 has now amassed a total of 210 million units sold. This is a five-million-unit jump from November last year, which is insane given the game’s age.
When will we see or hear anything about GTA 6? Given it’s been a year since the first — and only — trailer dropped, fans are eagerly waiting for the next bit of morsel they can bite. Hopefully, Take-Two doesn’t make us wait too long.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is still set for release in Fall 2025 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S.
It's safe to say that Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the most anticipated games in recent years, and with a possible release date set for Fall 2025 (on consoles), almost every gamer is eagerly waiting its launch.
2022’s Capcom Fighting Collection was pretty well-received, serving as a ten-game compilation of some Capcom fighters many gamers might not have been too familiar with. Later this year, Capcom is hoping to rekindle even more of your nostalgia with the May release of Capcom Fighting Collection 2.
Thanks to Capcom, We recently went hands-on with some of the games the collection will have to offer, and have our impressions ready right now.
Monster Hunter Wilds PS5 Pro support has finally been detailed.
A Proven Package
If you’re familiar with the Capcom Fighting Collection, the concept is identical here, just with different games to play. There are eight in total, compared to ten in the original. It could be argued, however, that this time around there are some heavier hitters. Both Capcom vs. SNK 1 and 2 are included, along with both Power Stone 1 and 2, as well as Plasma Sword, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, and Capcom Fighting Evolution rounds out the package. There is a lot of classic fighting action to be found.
Most of the above-listed games were not available during our hands-on demo: only Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, Capcom vs. SNK 2, and Project Justice made appearances. Each game offered similar, if not identical options to the previous game collection. You can set overall difficulty per session (these were originally arcade games, so these usually had to be set before the game loaded), attack power, timer speed, overall speed, battle type, and max round count. There’s also a handy option to reset these settings to factory. In short, this is the Operator’s screen you might have seen had you owned an actual arcade cabinet back in the day.
With settings dialed in, starting each game naturally only takes a few seconds, because we’re running on PS5 hardware now and that SSD is blazing fast, and even if it’s a couple of years old by now, it’ll still do laps around the original hardware these games ran on. Multiplayer, both local and online, is naturally supported, including rollback netcode, leaderboards, training, and spectating modes.
Nostalgia-Inducing for Some
All games play faithfully as you might remember them, if you were lucky enough to have done so in arcades, or home consoles when they were later ported. Capcom has noted that gameplay balance adjustments and quality of life improvements have been made for all games, though specifics have not yet been detailed. A training mode will be included, again for every game, where you can even view hitboxes on the 2D games. The museum returns, with various amounts of unlockable art, including concept art, design documents, music, and other multimedia. You can also perform mid-game saves, perfect for if you have to leave for an extended period of time and are doing rather well on an arcade mode run-through. There are also display filter settings you’d expect in a collection such as this.
The Capcom Fighting Collection 2 promises to bring together a bunch of classic Capcom fighting games from the bygone arcade era, circa 1998-2004. While we couldn’t check out all games, what was here ran just like the games of old, occasional slowdown and all. With the newest game here still over 20 years old, there is a lot of fighting game history available in one central place. Classic fighting game fans have a lot to look forward to when the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 drops May 16, 2025 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam platforms.

Konami’s remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, has a release date—at least according to the leaks. The PlayStation Store seems to have accidentally revealed it alongside a brand-new trailer.
So get ready because Snake will be slithering his way onto your favorite gaming console this Fall, and he’s bringing some friends.
Suzetta Minet, a name many Metal Gear Solid 3 fans will recognize as the credited voice for Eva in the Metal Gear Solid franchise.
Possible State of Play Surprise Spoiled
While Konami hasn’t officially announced the release date, a new trailer was recently uploaded to the PlayStation Store, first spotted by users on ResetEra. That trailer (viewable above) is essentially a story trailer that divulges key plot points throughout the original Metal Gear Solid 3. While fans likely are all familiar with the story, the upgraded visuals that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater brings will surely be enough to make the title worth revisiting.
What’s most surprising is that the trailer not only concludes with an August 28, 2025 release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater but also confirms the return of one of MGS3’s mini-games, Snake Vs. Monkey! It seems the remake is staying pretty faithful to the original release, with more teased to be revealed later in the trailer.
Whether or not Konami decides to throw Metal Gear Online in this is anyone’s guess, but we sure hope so.
As for when the publisher likely plans to officially reveal this? Well, current rumors suggest that PlayStation is ramping up to host a State of Play next week. While nothing has been confirmed, multiple outlets and sources have collaborated on the rumor, meaning it’s probably likely going to happen. Of course, we won’t know until then, but given that PlayStation leaked the trailer, we’d say there’s a high probability that this was planned as an announcement at the show.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater launches on August 28, 2025, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
While Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was originally envisioned as just a graphical upgrade, Konami is doing more than that with changes to the controls, and more.

ADDITIONS
A new Somachord track titled “The Great KIM” is available to acquire from Aoi’s Offerings in The Höllvania Central Mall.
This is the 8-bit version of On-Lyne’s “The Great Despair” that plays while you are using the POM-2!
Added confirmation popups when deleting inbox messages that contain a fullscreen cinematic.
We want to prevent those who want to keep their NYE kiss cinematics from accidentally deleting them.
Added a “Players waiting” pop-up when players have approached the boss fight trigger in H-09 Efervon Tank Assassination.
Added the ability to exit out of the KIM reset at year-end if you’re not quite ready to make a decision.
By delaying the decision you will be able to interact with the Pom-2 normally, but this reset pop-up will continue to appear each time you open the Pom-2 until you choose to Remember or Forget.
CHANGES
Reduced Faction-specific kill requirements for 1999 Calendar tasks by ~50% for Scaldra and ~25% for Techrot.
Since the Techrot often make an appearance even in Scaldra missions, Tenno come across fewer Scaldra overall — thus their kill requirements have been adjusted accordingly.
Improved network stability, notably for players using certain network services.
The Steel Path Squad Vs. Squad Faceoff node is no longer required to receive the 1999 Steel Path Emote and Trophies. Now, completing the Solo Squad node will register both nodes as cleared.
Completing the Squad Vs. Squad node hinged on matchmaking availability, which could be unreliable at times. So we removed it as a requirement to progressing/completing the 1999 Steel Path.
The new Faceoff game mode has received a polish pass, featuring the following changes:
Made small improvements to Ally NPC spawning in Faceoff: Single Squad missions.
The number of ghostly enemy specters in Faceoff missions will now properly reflect how many enemies are on the other team.
Improved cases of the Mobile Voice Pirate Radio jittering when moving around obstacles in Faceoff missions.
Faceoff extraction will now become immediately available once one team completes the third objective.
Increased the amount of time required for the AI enemy team to complete Data Burn in Steel Path Faceoff: Single Squad.
Improved Faceoff Assassination targets spawning logic to help eliminate cases of Assassination Targets either a) not spawning or b) spawning far away, resulting in one team being progression stopped.
Now Assassination Targets should spawn in better locations overall and not clip with the environment.
Improved VFX on the Gravity Wells spawned by the Gravity Wells Boost.
Reduced the maximum height needed to make progress on the “Kill X enemies while on high ground” Höllvania Bounty challenge.
Players noted that it was rather difficult to make progress on this challenge in the underground portions of the tileset. This was due to the height distance requirement between players and enemies being far too extreme. Now, as long as the enemies’ heads are shin’s length below your feet, killing them will progress the challenge, so it’s much more forgiving!
Also worth noting that players must have some contact with the environment to be considered “high ground” – this means that wall-latching counts!
The black portions of the Athletic Shirt and Sleeves can now be color customized! They now use the “Secondary Color” channel.
Increased the overall damage and Health of the Techrot faction.
In their previous state, the Techrot was easy to mow down in the Steel Path. So we brought them up closer to the Infested and Scaldra factions for more engaging combat.
We did not however increase the Health of the Techrot Babau. We want to maintain the changes we made in Hotfix 38.0.3 that reduced its Health and Shields.
Albrecht Laboratories and Höllvania resources can now be fed to Helminth for the following Secretions:
Oxides:
Entrati Obols
Synthetics:
Necracoil
Experimental Arc-Relay
Calx:
Stela
Bile:
Vessel Capillaries
Efervon Sample
Biotics:
Höllvania Pitchweave Fragment
Pheromones:
Techrot Motherboard
Techrot Chitin
An exclamation mark will now appear on the POM 2’s monitor when there is a notification available (Calendar Prize to claim, messages in KIM, etc.).
Curtains in the Backroom can now be separately color customized.
Access this by opening up the pause menu and going to Equipment > Backroom > Backroom Appearance > Change Curtain color.
Made tweaks to the cables in the Backroom ceiling so that they interact with surroundings better. Also adjusted thickness and color variation, optimized them and fixed them clipping into ceiling, beams and pipes.
Updated the Backroom Arsenal backdrop and fixed missing details.
Made improvements to Drifter facial expressions during New Year’s Eve kiss cinematic.
Players can now skip the New Year’s Eve kiss cinematic.
Removed the “Tactician” listing from the Alliance Permissions screen, as being able to deploy and manage Solar Rails was removed many years ago. Better late than never!
Removed the mention of “Status” in the Static Buildup Override’s description, since it grants Electricity Damage and not Status.
Now reads: Each meter traveled grants Electricity Damage. Attacking consumes 10% of the accumulated charge.
Protoframes will now offer unplayed “Close” conversations when players have reached Best Friend or Loved status.
This was a highly requested feature, since Protoframes did not have conversations available once you have maxed out their Chemistry. It’s possible that some of these newly-available conversations won’t fully make sense in the context of your relationship status with them, but a chat is still a chat.
SFX Additions & Changes:
Added SFX to the animations when activating/closing the Foundry, Arcane, and Atomicycle segments in the Backroom.
Tweaked the audio of Dante’s abilities to reduce the harshness of some frequencies.
Slightly reduced the SFX volume of the Dual Decurions (base and Prisma).
Reduced the Techrot Babau’s spawn SFX volume.
Adjusted mix for all Melee “whoosh” SFX.
Reduced the spamming of creaking SFX on the automobiles in Höllvania.
Made the Legacyte’s jumping SFX more audible from farther distances.
Updated the SFX of the propeller on the Hell-Scrub towers.
Removed repetitive elements of Techrot Skuzzi’s SFX to reduce sound fatigue.
While we already reported on how Battlefield Labs will be the new testing platform for EA's upcoming Battlefield game, the official announcement brought in new info about that, and even our first look at gameplay of the new Battlefield game!
It's just a few seconds long, but even so, it should be enough to whet the appetites of Battlefield veterans, given it confirms a modern military setting, vehicles, and destruction.
PERFORMANCE & OPTIMIZATIONS
Made small physics memory optimizations.
Fixed Excalibur Umbra causing hitches at the start of the “Search for Umbra” and “Pursue Umbra” stages of The Sacrifice Quest.
Fixed Clients experiencing performance issues from Nekros’ Shadows of the Dead with Arcane Camisado.
Fixed hitches caused by transmissions in Steel Path Höllvania missions if started from the POM-2 in the Höllvania Central Mall.
Fixed a hitch at mission start in The Sacrifice Quest when searching for Umbra.
Fixed a hitch when viewing the Chains of Harrow or Glast Gambit quests in the Codex after having completed them.
TOP FIXES

Fixed Höllvania Bounty challenge not appearing for Host after accepting mission invite from Orbiter.
Known Issue: the associated Hex member will not spawn into the Bounty if the mission is started in this specific way.
Fixed Biocodes to open Techrot Safes in Höllvania not being marked by Orokin Eye.
Fixed cases of 1999 Calendar Tasks appearing to reset after completing the challenge (UI only issue, challenge was properly marked as complete in 1999 Calendar upon completing mission).
Known issue: this UI bug still applies to the Ex-Eximus task.
Fixed Felarx’s reload being incredibly slow with the Mounting Momentum perk.
Fixed the Lone Gun Incarnon Perk not applying to the Vasto if you do not have a Primary weapon equipped.
Fixed the Ready Retaliation perk not working on Lex Incarnon.
Fixed Reconifex’s perfect reload Heat Damage buff being inconsistent when the game is running at ~30 FPS.

Fixed Ancient Protectors giving Overguard to the spectral forms of Thrax Centurion and Thrax Legatus.
Fixed Clients not dealing additional damage when attacking the weak points on the Scaldra Barbican shields.
Fixed extraction becoming available before the required captures have been met in Legacyte Harvest Bounties.

Fixed Duplex Bond and Brief Respite not triggering for Clients in Höllvania missions if they have Inner Might active.

Moving forward, kiss inboxes will store the player’s current loadout at the time of playing the cinematic.
Fixed Trinity’s Well of Life immortality effect insta-killing immune enemies (ex: Demolysts), bosses (ex: Tyl Regor) and friendlies (ex: Saryn’s Molt, Loki’s Decoy, etc.).
Now, ability-resistant enemies will instead take up to 20k damage in the form of a health drain.
Fixed Nova’s Molecular Prime explosion range getting blocked by multiple lined up enemies.
Fixed Ramparts in the Junk Run Break Narmer mission running out of ammo, preventing being able to complete the Thumper fight. They now have infinite ammo!
Fixed only needing to kill 3 enemies in the Mastery Rank 21 test. If you completed this test in its broken state, maybe kill a few extra enemies today to make up for it.
Fixed Inaros’ Swarm Kavats being invisible to Clients.
Fixed not receiving Standing for allies of your pledged Faction Syndicate when playing Netracell missions.
Fixed being able to bypass movement restrictions during Nyx’s Assimilate by casting certain Helminth abilities.
Fixed being able to summon the Atomicycle in Mastery Rank Tests.
Fixed Mag’s Magnetize bubble absorbing Ionic Charges in Ascension missions when thrown.
Fixed Chemistry Rank not properly increasing to Loved if agreeing to date a Protoframe via KIM Chat if your Chemistry level is Close or below.
This was only an issue if you agreed to date a Protoframe via KIM, not if you initiated the relationship by talking to them in the Mall.
If you’re a player affected by this issue, earning Chemistry via Gifting or Bounties should bring you up to the correct rank!
Fixed Umbra’s Warrior’s Rest Augment not applying if you entered a 1999 mission from the Höllvania Central Mall.
Fixed Amps not receiving Affinity when exiting a mission via a streaming tunnel (ie. through Cetus doors, etc.).
Fixed having the Arsenal open while entering a mission from the Höllvania Central Mall resulting in function loss.
This could occur if you were using the Arsenal right next to the Atomicycle and someone else triggered the mission start. To fix this, players can no longer access their Arsenal in the Garage section of the Mall.
Fixed cases of Aura Mod effectiveness doubling in Duviri and in the Simulacrum.
Fixed a fully built Reconifex Receiver appearing in Hell-Scrub: Scaldra drop tables instead of the Blueprint as intended.
Fixed Sisters of Parvos and Kuva Liches only displaying a Protoframe’s hair instead of their full head.

The quick travel wheel is now disabled during this stage to prevent potential issues with Quest progression.

CROSS PLATFORM SAVE FIXES
Fixed Helminth abilities from the Secondary Account being unlocked on the Merged Account. Helminth abilities are determined by the chosen Primary Account.

FIXES
Fixed Cyte-09’s Neutralizer being active allowing other equipped weapons to pick up more ammo than intended.

Fixed being able to purchase and place several “one per account” Decorations (i.e. Yooka Floof, Rell’s Donda, Nihil’s Oublilette) in the Backroom.
Fixed players being able to see friend requests from those on their Ignore lists.
These requests are auto-declined if a player is on your Ignore list, but this didn’t happen until the receiving player logged out — resulting in cases where they could see a request from a player they were ignoring if received whilst online. Now it should properly auto-decline immediately and the recipient is none the wiser.
Fixed being able to infuse a second damage-boosting Ability on Warframes via Helminth.
Accounts with Warframes in this state have had the unintended Ability Infusion removed.
Fixed certain Decorations in Bird 3’s Shiny Treasures offerings not having the same appearance frequency as others. Now, all decorations should have an equal chance of rotating in.

Fixed new players receiving event specific inbox messages (ex: Razorback Armada) before they have completed the Vor’s Prize Quest.
Fixed an unintended “Infested” category appearing in the “Relinquish Adversaries” Codex menu. There’s clearly no reason for that category to exist — pay no attention to the boyband behind the curtain.

Fixed various lighting issues in Cambion Drift caves.
Fixed Adversary transmissions not occurring in the Backroom.

That’s one big patch for a hotfix. We should be hearing about the game’s next content drop soon, and if we do, we’ll let our readers know what Digital Extremes is cooking up.
Following the announcement of Battlefield Labs, which is Electronic Arts’ new testing platform for the franchise, some might have been skeptical whether fans still wanted a new Battlefield game following the disappointing releases of Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield V.
Based on the amount of players that tried signing up to Battlefield Labs, interest in the franchise remains a high clip.
With the reveal of Battlefield Labs, publisher Electronic Arts also snuck in a few seconds of gameplay of the new Battlefield game.
Battlefield Labs Sign Ups Causes Server Issues Amid High Interest
When we tried signing up to it, the servers crashed a few times, which is something DICE acknowledged. “Thank you all for your enthusiastic response to our Battlefield Labs announcement yesterday. We’re thrilled by the interest, which has exceeded our expectations,” the studio noted.
In addition, DICE said, “We are aware that some of you have encountered issues with the sign-up page queue. Please know that we’re actively working to resolve this.”
While we can’t say for sure how many people signed up to the limited playtest, we do know that it’s over 1.3 million. Content creator TacticalBrit captured a screenshot of the queue to sign up, and well, let’s just say that we’re glad this line is a virtual one.
It seems the servers are OK now, and you won’t have to wait to sign up. Remember that signing up does not guarantee a place in the playtest. EA also confirmed that Battlefield Labs will run on consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X|S) and not just PC. Hopefully, EA doesn’t take for granted the interest players have shown and builds upon that, so we’ll have a proper Battlefield game at launch this time.
There is no word yet on when we can expect the next info drop for the new Battlefield, but we’re hoping it’ll be soon. While there’s no release date for it yet, EA has confirmed it will be released before April 2026.
If you’ve been granted a spot in the playtest, congrats!
Expect news about Battlefield Labs and the new Battlefield to be available ASAP on MP1st.
If you asked Battlefield fans what their favorite game in the franchise is, chances are you'll be met with three answers: Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
Studio GOBO has pushed out a new patch for LEGO Horizon Adventures on all platforms as version 1.04. Players can expect this to fix various progression issues, that nasty bug where you’ll get stuck on a loading screen during the Prologue and more.
Those on consoles expect to see this as LEGO Horizon Adventures patch 1.004 and the full patch notes are available below.
With the reveal of Battlefield Labs, publisher Electronic Arts also snuck in a few seconds of gameplay of the new Battlefield game.
LEGO Horizon Adventures’ Latest Patch Fixes a Lot of “Stuck” Issues
FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
Runs
Fixed an issue where the player could become stuck on a loading screen during the Prologue. Come onnn, we don’t have time, we need to save the world!
Fixed an issue where loading screen music could play during a cinematic. The loading screen music is great, but that’s for loading… screens.
Mother’s Heart
Fixed an issue where the ‘Stay Frosty’, ‘Flaming Ninjas!’ and ‘Silent Storm’ challenges would not progress when defeating element afflicted enemies with a non-elemental weapon. Now you can save your elemental arrows for them pesky Corruptors!
Fixed an issue where the ‘A Brush with Greatness’ challenge did not accurately count when changing zone colors. Change alllll the colors!
Fixed an issue where the Wardrobe could become blocked after the player threw a chicken into it. Why would you even do this, poor chicky.
Characters, Combat & Co-op
Fixed an issue where Varl could become stuck in place when catching a Boomerang or Homing Spear. He just got a bit scared; it happens to us all.
Fixed an issue where the Brick Remover gadget would not destroy Corruption Pools. The Brick Remover had a firmware upgrade.
Fixed an issue where Broadheads could become stuck at the edges of the area. Now they’ll attack you instead! That’s better, right?

KNOWN ISSUES
Lighting may appear blown out on HDR Steam Deck. To resolve this, either disable HDR or increase the max luminance value to 4500 in the graphics settings.
The game may crash on boot on specific 13th and 14th generation Intel CPUs. To resolve this a BIOS update may be required. More information is available here.
Once another patch is released that addresses these issues, we’ll let our readers know.
On February 6, 2025, Hello Games pushed out No Man’s Sky update 5.053 on consoles and PCs, which last-gen players see as version 5.53. Compared to past updates aimed at fixes, this one is more meaty since it comes with actual improvements too.
Aside from fixing various gameplay issues, this patch improves load times for players while using a large number of mods, PC players can expect better memory optimization usage and more.

Saber Interactive’s latest major content drop for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is finally here! Players will see the “Datavault” patch as Space Marine 2 update 1.006, though this is called patch 6.0 by the developers.
This title update brings a new PvP map, a new enemy type, perk reworks, new finishers, new cosmetics and a more and all for free. There’s a lot to take in, so read on for the complete patch notes for today’s Space Marine 2 update.
The Datavault is a new area on the Battle Barge. Players can complete Ordeals in Campaign, Operations and Eternal War modes to challenge their skill and earn Research Data currency. In the Research Center players can unlock more information about enemies and allies using research data currency.
Exploration in the Research Center is rewarded with different rewards: 4 new icons for the right pauldron, 2 new weapon skins and 2 new armour parts.
NEW PVP MAP – TOMB
This PvP map is based around a similar structure to our other maps, but utilizes a different approach to the design of battle zones. Overall, Tomb is the smallest map of all the PvP maps.
The map design includes fast routes on the flanks and a close-quarters central battle zone, which can be attacked from all the sides.
NEW ENEMY – BIOVORE
We have added a new Extremis enemy for the Tyranids, the Biovore. It is a fast, mobile living-artillery creature that can keep the distance, fortify and shoot spore mines in its enemies.
But it is far from defenseless in close combat, and can attack with its legs, performing a series of fast melee attacks.
Emotes System
We have added an in-game emote system that includes a pound to the chest, a battle cry, and even a stoic handshake. You can use any of the 6 emotes in any game mode via the emote wheel.
Armoury Data Refinement
We added a new Tech-Priest workshop in the Armoury of the Battle Barge. It is an exchange point where the player can:
Exchange low tier Armoury Data to higher tier variants.
Sell Armoury Data in exchange for Requisition points.
This will allow players to get relic armoury data without having to beat higher difficulties.
New PvE Difficulty: Absolute
This difficulty is focused on new, more diverse enemy packs that bring extreme challenge. Resources and ammo are more limited.
FOV Slider on PC
Players will now be able to modify the camera’s field of view for a more personalised experience.
Opt in PvP Crossplay option for consoles
We have lifted the restriction on cross-play for PvP across PC and consoles, now players can choose whether or not they wish to play with the wider community. You must be in the title screen settings to toggle this option.
New Finishers
New finisher animations have been added to purge the xenos and traitors with style:
1 for Zoanthrope;
2 for Rubric Marines;
1 for Scarab Occult Terminator.
Additional Mastery for Full Progression
When a weapon is fully upgraded, the player is now awarded an additional mastery point (works retroactively).
Quick Match Bonus
Players will now receive additional bonus XP if they play in Quick Match, as a reward for not being able to select the Operation they’re playing.
New Season Pass Content
Added: Salamanders Champion Pack (Sniper class)
Added: Raven Guard Cosmetic Pack
Customisation
Shared slots for Skins Recolour:
Added a new slots tab in the customiser for Shared Colour Presets. This preset can be used across any class and any game mode
Added chapter decals for right shoulderpad for Deathwatch fans:
All base chapter decals are now available for the right pauldron. (These only need to be unlocked once, allowing you to place them on either pauldron)
Customisation Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug with a Pauldron emblem from the Dark Angels DLC not having a colour option
Fixed a bug where loading into a match while previewing a locked piece of armour could result in this piece being equipped after the match ends or player leaves it
Fixed a bug with Champion’s backpack that caused incorrect colouration after switching, in some rare cases
Former PlayStation CEO Shawn Layden recently discussed the possibility of the PS6 launching without a disc drive during an interview on the Kiwi Talkz podcast.
Space Marine 2 Gameplay and Balancing Changes in Feb. 6 Patch
Class Perks Update
“Balancing wise, the focus of this update was to review perk trees of all classes. There were clear outsiders that didn’t get picked. While there are some nerfs in the list, the vast majority of changes are buffs that should benefit different playstyles. With the next patch we will be focusing on weapon perks and weapons class restrictions.”
Overall:
Fixed damage bonuses from multiple Auspex Scan perks stacking incorrectly.
Note: We found that several Auspex Scan perks were not stacking correctly when used together. This had to be fixed to ensure functionality. We will be watching for Auspex Scan and will make adjustments in the future if this fix makes the ability not as effective as it originally was.
Heightened Vigour:
Knockback immunity effect duration increased from 5 to 10 seconds
Added melee and gun strike bonus damage effect
Communion of Fire:
Recoil reduction bonus increased from 20% to 25%
Added a ranged damage bonus effect against Extremis-level enemies
Close Targeting:
The perk effect has been reworked, the new version is: “When Auspex Scan is in cooldown, Melee Damage increases by 15%” from “When Auspex Scan is in cooldown, Melee Damage increases by 50% against Minoris-level enemies.”
Note: This perk was originally intended to be used to crush hordes of Minoris-level enemies, but we decided to expand its effect to other enemies, lowering the bonus a bit to avoid overpowering it.
Signal Jammer:
Added an effect of automatically killing an enemy who tries to call for reinforcements
Note: The original perk was not very effective, and we wanted to add some greater utility to it.
Plasma Boost:
Activation threshold lowered from “50% Overheated” to “30% Overheated”
Bonus damage increased from 30% to 40%
Added an effect to reduce the energy cost of charged shots by 1
Steady Aim:
The perk effect has been reworked, the new version is: “Weapon Spread and Recoil is reduced by 20%, and Ranged Damage against Terminus-level enemies is increased by 10%” from “Recoil is reduced by 10%”.
Aligned Aim:
Fixed a typo that stated the perk provides 5% bonus damage instead of the actual 15%.
Improved Efficiency:
Changed the perk activation condition from “Scanning 20 enemies with one Auspex Scan restores Equipment Charge by 1” to “Scanning 10 any enemies or 3 Majoris-level or higher enemies with one Auspex Scan restores Equipment Charge by 1”.
Note: This is a great perk, but we found that it performed worse on higher difficulties and against Chaos in particular. The new effect should fix that difference.
Note: This perk has performed much better than we originally planned, especially with the bug that was causing incorrect stacking of damage from multiple perks, so we want to try nerfing its bonus damage a bit while buffing adjacent perks. It should provide more build options to experiment with.
Radiating Impact:
Increased perk’s damage from 75 to 100
Increased perk’s radius from 5 to 10
Added effect radius in description
Added damage scale by difficulty
Note: Damage-dealing perks previously did not scale with difficulty. We planned to keep this to make enemies harder to defeat, but we found that on higher difficulties these perks rarely made a significant contribution. So now several of these perks will have higher damage as difficulty increases.
Versatility:
Bonus damage increased from 20% to 25%
Emperor’s Vengeance:
Fixed restoring grenades for the Grenade Launcher (now restores one grenade per activation).
Note: Unfortunately, restoring a full set of grenades every 30 seconds was never intended to be the case and has proven disastrously effective. We understand that this will significantly nerf the perk and will be watching if this makes it less popular. If so, we will make changes in the future.
Target Lock:
Bonus damage increased from 25% to 75%
Precise Calibration:
Fixed a bug where this perk affected equipment damage.
Concentrated Fire:
Bonus damage increased from 100% to 120%
The duration of the Auspex Scan zone is now extended by 40%
Winged Fury:
Bonus damage increased from 25% to 40%
Overcharge:
Bonus damage increased from 15% to 25%
Retribution:
Bonus damage increased from 15% to 25%
Effect duration increased from 10 to 20 seconds
Ascension:
Added damage scale by difficulty.
Armour Reinforcement:
Fixed incorrect armour restoration and updated localisation to better reflect the intended effect of the perk (1 armour segment restored per non-lethal Gun Strike).
Note: Initially the armour restoration effect was equal to the finisher, which allowed this perk to restore all armour on any gun strike to bosses. It allowed almost infinite armour restoration. We will be watching this perk and will make adjustments in the future if this fix makes it unpleasantly weak.
Consecutive Execution:
Cooldown reduced from 180 to 90 seconds
The perk no longer goes on cooldown when a player has a full pack of equipment
Proven Efficiency:
Bonus damage reduced from 50% to 30%
Note: This perk has performed much better than we originally planned, so we want to try nerfing its bonus damage a bit while buffing the adjacent Strategic Strikes perk (Squad Cohesion should be pretty great as is). It should provide more build options to experiment with.
Aerial Grace:
Bonus damage increased from 25% to 30%
Effect duration increased from 5 to 10 seconds
Moving Target:
Damage reducing bonus increased from 1% to 2% by attack
Maximum bonus increased from 15% to 20%
The time for the next attack has been increased from 3 to 5 seconds
This time no longer counted during finisher animations
Retribution:
Bonus damage increased from 20% to 25%
Effect duration increased from 10 to 15 seconds
Restless Fortitude:
Damage reducing bonus increased from 10% to 20%
Zone of Impact:
Increased perk’s damage from 20 to 50
Increased perk’s radius from 5 to 10
Added damage scale by difficulty
Thrill of the Fight:
Damage reducing bonus increased from 15% to 20%
Effect duration increased from 3 to 5 seconds
Tactical Prowess:
Now it also allows the Grapnel Launcher to activate Finisher on enemies, who have less than 25% HP (without this perk, the Grapnel Launcher can do it only with incapacitated enemies).
Note: Grapnel Launcher has had a hidden mechanic this whole time – when used on an incapacitated enemy, Vanguard would automatically activate a finisher on them. It is not a life-important feature but pretty neat in combat. We would like to highlight it with this perk.
Close-Combat Focus:
The perk effect has been reworked, the new version is: “You take 20% less Ranged Damage” from “You take 20% less Melee Damage but 10% more Ranged Damage”
Note: This perk was supposed to exchange one type of protection to another, but over time we were unable to make this exchange pleasant for players. So we decided to just give a bonus in this perk.
Consecutive Execution:
Cooldown reduced from 180 to 90 seconds
The perk no longer goes on cooldown when a player has a full pack of equipment
Unmatched Zeal:
Health regeneration bonus increased from 5% to 20%
Perk now works against Terminus-level enemies as well.
Shock Wave:
Added damage scale by difficulty.
Tenacity:
Bonus damage increased from 25% to 40%
Effect duration increased from 10 to 15 seconds
The cooldown was removed
Grim Determination:
Increased bonus damage from 10% to 15%.
Emperor’s Blessing:
Cooldown is reduced from 180 seconds to 120 seconds.
Note: The Emperor appreciates your hard work in exterminating the enemies of humanity and now grants His Blessing a little more frequently.
Upper Hand:
Effect duration increased from 5 to 10 seconds.
Conviction:
Damage reducing bonus increased from 15% to 25%.
Inner Fire:
Added condition of finishing Majoris-level enemy or higher to activate the perk.
Note: This is a good perk both in terms of effect and balance, but finishing off very weak enemies allowed the ability to be restored too effectively, so we added a limitation here.
Collateral Damage:
Increased perk’s damage from 5 to 10
Added damage value to perk description
Added damage scale by difficulty
Adrenaline Rush:
Health restoration is reduced from 10% to 5%.
Note: This is a great perk, but unfortunately it allows experienced Vanguards to solo all their problems and leave their team to be torn apart by the enemy. Our test shows that even despite significant numerical reduction this is a very, very strong perk, and as always will be watching to see if this perk is nerfed too much.
Camo Cloak class perk (Starting Perk):
Added bonus damage value to perk description.
Iron Grip:
The perk effect has been reworked, the new version is: “Weapon Spread and Recoil is reduced by 20% and Ranged Damage against Terminus-level enemies is increased by 15% for Bolt Sniper and Stalker Bolt Rifles” from “Recoil from Bolt Sniper Rifles and Stalker Bolt rifles is reduced by 30%”
Purification:
Now also restores all Contested Health when manually activating Camo Cloak.
Persistence:
Added heavy hit protection and knockback reduction effect
Effect duration increased from 5 to 10 seconds
Melee Mastery:
Bonus damage increased from 10% to 20%
Vantage Point:
Now also works on secondary weapons.
Dexterous Hands:
Reload speed increased from 15 to 20
Added Bolt Carbine’s spread and recoil reduction effect
Precision Targeting:
Spread reduction bonus increased from 20 to 25
Added a ranged damage bonus effect against Extremis-level enemies
Efficient Readiness:
Now also provides a 10% movement speed boost effect while Camo Cloak is active
Note: This was an effect we wanted to try out initially but only managed to do it now. Use it to reposition yourself and strike down enemies but not to abandon your teammates!
Adaptability:
Bonus damage increased from 15% to 25%
Effect duration increased from 5 to 10 seconds
Tactical Ambush:
Bonus damage increased from 100% to 150%.
Ambush:
Cooldown reduced from 30 to 25 seconds.
Pattern of Excellence:
Reduced the number of consecutive headshots required to activate the perk from 4 to 3.
Enhanced Force:
The perk effect has been reworked, the new version is: “Melee Damage increases by 30%” from “Damage from Charged Melee Attacks increases by 20%”.
Note: We like the possibility to cover Heavy’s almost only weakness – Melee Combat – with perks, so we decided to significantly improve this perk.
Encompassing Aegis:
Damage reducing bonus increased from 20% to 25%
Adamant Will:
Effect duration increased from 5 to 10 seconds
Saving Grace:
Added full armour restoration effect
Note: Selflessly saving your allies is a noble act that should be rewarded more than the ability charge used for it.
Offensive Capability:
Increased perk’s damage frequency
Added damage scale by difficulty
Consecutive Execution:
Cooldown reduced from 180 to 90 seconds
The perk no longer goes on cooldown when a player has a full pack of equipment

Added 15% bonus damage effect
Auxiliary Ammunition:
Fixed incorrectly working cooldown

Added heavy hit protection and knockback reduction effect
Power Regulator:
Iron Halo charge drain reduction changed from 15% to 20%
Wrath of the Imperium:
Increased perk’s damage from 50 to 100
Radius increased from 5 to 10
Added damage scale by difficulty
Conversion Field:
Fixed a typo that stated the perk worked at 100 meters instead of the actual 10 meters
Note: Sure, it was too good to be true. But we will be watching this perk in case it needs a buff.
Overall: A few perks have been swapped.
Note: We noticed that players were making the same build for Bulwark with some minor differences and swapped two pairs of perks to provide players with more build options, making the perk sets in tiers more versatile.
Conviction:
Effect duration increased from 5 to 10 seconds
Armour of Contempt:
Added damage scale by difficulty
Focused Restoration (renamed from “Reinforced Ceramite”):
The perk effect has been reworked, the new version is: “Every 40 seconds, all Squad Members automatically restore 1 Armour Segment” from “The delay before Armour begins to passively regenerate is reduced by 5 seconds for all squad members”
Note: We noticed that this perk hardly works in combat, essentially only reducing the wait for armour to regenerate after combat. So we decided to try a different approach and made armour regenerate periodically.
Concussive Force:
Increased perk’s damage to 200%
Purity of Purpose:
Increased perk’s damage frequency
Added damage scale by difficulty
Intimidating Aura:
Added cooldown (5 seconds)
Added damage scale by difficulty
Note: This perk has been performing incredibly well on lower difficulties and with the damage scale it should be just as powerful on higher difficulties. We do not want to reduce the damage of this perk, so we decided to add a small cooldown only to prevent spamming it.
Steel Within:
Damage reducing bonus increased from 25% to 30%.
Rapid Regeneration:
Chapter Banner duration reduction is changed from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.
Merciless Resolve:
Added 15% bonus melee damage effect
Glory’s Shield:
Fixed the typo in description, which did not specify the ranged damage type
Damage reducing bonus increased from 10% to 20%
Added 20% bonus to banner’s duration
Forward Momentum:
Bonus damage increased from 25% to 30%
Effect duration increased from 5 to 10 seconds
Scrambled Targeting:
Damage reducing bonus increased from 20% to 25%
Armour Reinforcement:
Fixed incorrect armour restoration
Updated localisation to better reflect the intended effect of the perk (1 armour segment restored per non-lethal gunstrike)
Effective Formation:
Now works against Extremis-level enemies as well
Invigorating Icon:
Added effect of slowing by 100% the recharge time of the banner. (twice longer)
Note: We have noticed that this perk often encourages players to hold off on using Banner until the very last resort. We like this change in strategy, but the perk itself makes Banner overpowered. So we want to tone it down so that it requires more thoughtful timing when activating the ability.
Inspiration:
Bonus damage increased from 10% to 20%
Contingency Plan Perk (Multi-Melta; Heavy Bolter; Heavy Plasma Incinerator):
Fixed incorrect numbers in perk’s description.
Elite Restoration Perk (Multi-Melta):
Fixed incorrect display of enemy class in perk’s description.
Perfect Block (All melee weapons)
“We think blocking weapons were almost in a good spot. This is a significant buff that should make blocking weapons more viable versus Chaos enemies, because they don’t have a lot of melee combos, making it difficult to gain full damage bonus from blocking weapons.”
Adrenaline Surge stacks needed for maximum effect are decreased to 2 from 3.
Armour recovery from maximum effect is decreased from 2 to 1.
Power Fist
“Power Fist is one of the least popular melee weapons (despite being one of the coolest👊). We are making it more practical in combat by extending its AoE damage and making it easier to charge.”
Maximum charge time reduced from 3.9 seconds to 2.5 seconds for hold attacks.
Hold attacks can now be partially charged (it used to be 1 charge for full damage bonus, now it’s 2 quicker charges for 50% smaller bonuses).
Forward cone damage distance is increased up to 10 meters, making it more viable in mid range.
Bolters
“While Bolter weapons are finding their spot in the game, we are making another round of Bolter weapons buffs to make them viable on the new difficulty.”
Bolt Rifle: Base damage is increased by 8%.
Auto Bolt Rifle: Base damage is increased by 6%.
Heavy Bolt Rifle: Base damage is increased by 5%.
Bolt Carbine (SMG Versions): Base damage is increased by 7%.
Bolt Carbine (Marksman Versions): Base damage is increased by 5%.
Occulus Bolt Carbine: Base damage is increased by 10%.
Instigator Bolt Carbine: Base damage is increased by 5%.
Stalker Bolt Rifle: Base damage is increased by 7%.
Grenade Launcher Rebalance:
“Previously, the artificer and relic damage values were set incorrectly, with a combination of buggy damage bonuses stacking from Auspex Scan. This resulted in insane damage values. While the damage reduction looks big on paper you can still obliterate entire waves with GL. However, with changes below, you won’t be able to 1-shot bosses anymore.”
Reduced the damage amount for AUX Grenade Launcher version (from 25/100/100 to 25/50/75).
Equipment
“These changes are made to make Terminus enemies more resistant to explosive damage, so they cannot be killed by GL that easily.
In return we are buffing equipment damage to make it more viable against Terminus enemies.”
Melta Bomb Damage Buff:
Increased Melta Bomb damage amount from 201 to 221
Reverted reduced damage to bosses introduced in previous patches.
Krak Grenade Damage Buff:
Increased Krak Grenade damage amount from 110 to 120.

Vanguard can no longer take damage when pulled to an enemy

Fixed a bug where character could hit the air when performing a ground pound in Story mode in some cases

Unless I’m mistaken, this is the biggest patch Saber has released for Space Marine 2 to date. There’s more on the way, too, and it will once again be free. We’ll let our readers know once we know more.
Ubisoft has deployed Star Wars Outlaws patch 1.005.001 on consoles and PC today, and this is for what the developers call version 1.51. While it doesn’t include new content, it does add support for Nvidia 50 series GPUs on PC, and improves PSSR on PS5 Pro.
For the versions on each platform, and file sizes, head on below.
While Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment just released Star Wars Outlaws, the game's director Julian Gerighty won't be sticking around to handle the development of the game's post-launch DLCs and updates.
Star Wars Outlaws Brings Tech Improvements in February 6 Patch
Xbox Series X|S: 3.65 GB (version 1.0.5.1 / 7641097.TU5)
PC (Ubisoft Connect): 3.30 GB (version 1.0.5.1 / 7711640.TU5)
Steam: 3.30 GB (version 1.0.5.1 / 7711640.TU5)
Star Wars Outlaws on PC now features DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation for GeForce RTX 50 series, which boosts FPS by using AI to generate up to three frames per traditionally rendered frame. DLSS 4 also introduces faster single Frame Generation with reduced memory usage for RTX 50 and 40 Series, and new transformer AI models for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and DLAA for all GeForce RTX GPUs, which enhances stability, lighting, and detail in motion.
Streaming:
Fixed a crashing issue on streaming platforms when travelling to Renpalli Station
PC:
Added support for NVIDIA series 5 GPUs
PS5:
PSSR has been updated to the latest version for PS5 Pro users
All platforms:
Fixed an issue where Kay could not dismount the speeder when on a steep incline
Fixed an issue where audio from overhead ships would be louder than expected
While nothing has been announced yet, if we get another patch for Star Wars Outlaws, we’ll let our readers know. Given that the game underperformed at retail, we’re not expecting any story-related DLCs to be released by Ubisoft in the future.
NetEase has a new patch for Marvel Rivals on consoles and PC available for download this February 6, 2025. This patch adds new skins and hero bug fixes. Console players will see this as Marvel Rivals’ new update 1.000.006, while the studio officially calls it the version 20250207 patch.
Venom, Magneto, Loki, Moonknight and more heroes have bugs related to their abilities sorted out, which is available below in the official patch notes.
This patch does not cause server downtime, so players won’t be kicked from games. However, you will receive an in-game notification that a new update is available, which could limit your matchmaking speeds.
With every patch released for Marvel Rivals, it seems NetEase keeps adding more files for upcoming heroes, modes and more.

Once NCSoft releases another patch, we’ll let our readers know/
A new update has just dropped for The First Descendant and this is for patch 1.2.6. On PS5/XSX this is update 1.050 and 1.50 for those playing the game on PS4/XB1. The update adds a Leaderboard menu meaning players can check out the game’s top 100 players. Tons of other content improvements have also been made.
Sony has launched a new PlayStation Store sale today.
The First Descendant Update 1.050 Adds Leaderboards
Update 1.2.6
Content Leaderboards
– Added the Leaderboards menu.
– The leaderboards can be checked in the Journal menu.
– The leaderboards display top 100 players.
– The leaderboards are separated according to the number of players who entered the content. (Solo, 2-player, 3-player, 4-player)
– For the Solo leaderboard, rankings are aggregated for each Descendant played.
ㄴThere are separate leaderboards for Ultimate Descendants and Normal Descendants.
– You can keep track of the records for each of your Descendant in one place.
– A notification is displayed when a new record is set.
ㄴEnter Rankings: Top 10 overall on the leaderboard
ㄴSolo: Top 100 overall on the Solo leaderboard
ㄴ My Record: Set a new personal record
Void Erosion Purge Leaderboard
– Added a leaderboard to Void Erosion Purge.
– The leaderboard can be checked on the Void Erosion Purge entry screen and the Void Erosion Purge results screen.
– The Void Erosion Purge leaderboard ranks players based on their cleared stages and time.
ㄴThe cleared stages take precedence over clear time.
ㄴClear time includes death penalty time.
– The Void Erosion Purge leaderboard is reset at the end of the season.
ㄴThe reset cycle for the Void Erosion Purge leaderboard may change in the future.
Craft Core
– Added Craft Core.
– Cores can be crafted through Deslin.
– Three Cores of the same tier as the Augmentation type and one Core Amplifier are used to craft one Core of the next tier.
ㄴCore Amplifiers can be obtained from Void Erosion Purge.
ㄴThe higher the Core tier, the more Gold is required to craft it.
– If ‘Auto-craft lower stages’ is checked when crafting a Core, all identical Augmentation Cores of a lower tier than the Core to be crafted will be automatically registered as materials and consumed for crafting.
ㄴ To use only Cores that are one tier lower as materials, uncheck the ‘Auto-craft lower stages’ checkbox.
– You can select the quantity to craft by moving the slider, and reducing the quantity deducts lower tier Cores first as materials.
ㄴThe maximum quantity that can be crafted at one time is 300.
Void Erosion Purge Zone Addition
– New difficulties for Void Erosion Purge stages 21 to 30 have been added.
ㄴ The higher the difficulty, the greater the rewards you can obtain.
ㄴ Public matching is available at stages 21, 25, 28, 29, and 30.
– Added Core Amplifiers to the reward for completing Void Erosion Purge.
– In the Void Erosion Purge zone, ATK is significantly amplified when using attributes that resonate with the void attribute.
ㄴ Up to stage 20, the ATK amplification effect was strong.
ㄴ From stage 21 onwards, the ATK amplification effect gradually weakens.
ㄴ As you get closer to the final stage, the powerful influence of Void Erosion further reduces the skill’s ATK.
– Purify all eroded zones to protect Albion from the dangers of the Void.
– Fixed an issue that caused the monster, Chain Explosive No. 2 Commander, which appears in the Vulgus Strategic Outpost, to stutter when appearing.
– Fixed the Void Erosion Purge time icon and line image being out of sync.
– Fixed the Hard CC Immunity UI that was displayed in Void Erosion Purge stages where Hard CC Immunity Elites do not appear so that it is no longer displayed in those stages.
– In Void Erosion Purge, pressing the Next Stage button now properly matchmakes based on the Public/Private Operation status.
– Fixed an issue where monsters were not summoned when detected by a drone in the Void Vessel.
– Fixed an issue where some drones respawned with awkward animations in the Void Vessel.
– Fixed an issue where after clearing an outpost, the objects inside it were not visible.
(2) Descendants
– Fixed an issue where the Singular Skill Power Modifier did not apply correctly to the damage of Enzo’s skill, Concentrated Fire, when he was equipped with the Concentrated Fire module
– Fixed an issue where Valby’s jumping motion did not display correctly when she was equipped with the Tidal Wave module.
(3) Weapons & Modules
– Fixed an issue where equipping the Explosion Range module did not affect the effect size.
