PUBG Corp. has released the big PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) 6.3 patch, which brings a new weapon and a ton of balance changes! Console gamers will see this as PUBG update 1.40, and you can check the patch notes below.
PUBG update 1.40 patch notes:
New Weapon: Panzerfaust
We’ve been sneaking the Panzerfaust into our Season 6 videos since the start, but we’re finally putting the boom tube into your hands! While a powerful AoE damage tool on the Battlegrounds, there are some drawbacks to picking the Panzerfaust up. First of all, it takes up a primary weapon slot, limiting your options on the diverse terrain of Karakin. The projectile travels pretty quickly, but can be dodged by the attentive player. There’s also a backblast area behind the Panzerfaust, so watch out for those squadmates before you go firing it off.
Karakin exclusive
Uncommon world spawn found across the map
Guaranteed to be in every airdrop
The Panzerfaust warhead explodes upon impact, but can also be blown up mid air
The damage radius is 6m from the point of impact
The explosion can deal splash damage through thin walls and objects, up to a short distance
Can be used to breach specific walls on Karakin, much like the Sticky Bomb
The warhead will explode mid air, before impact if damaged by explosions or shot by a bullet
One time use
Once the warhead is fired, the Panzerfaust tube will be discarded and cannot be picked back up
Firing the warhead produces a backblast, so be careful!
The backblast damages those within a 3m zone behind the weapon
Be careful you don’t have any teammates, or a wall too close behind you. You’ve been warned.
Zeroing options at 60, 100 (default) and 150 meters
Weapon Balance Changes:
Tommy Gun
Stronger and more versatile. You can now also attach Red Dots and Holos to your Tommy.
Added upper rail to attach Red Dot and Holo Sights
Increased rate of fire from 700 to 750
Increased firing accuracy
We’ve reduced the bullet deviation penalty when firing for an extended duration
Increased moving accuracy
Decreased recoil when firing for an extended duration
This is due to the increased rate of fire
M249
Removed from Care Packages and added to normal loot on ALL maps Can now take more attachments but is tougher to control and does less damage.
Added Stock attachment slot
A Tactical Stock can be equipped to improve weapon stability
Added Magazine attachment slot
Reduced standard ammo capacity to 75
Now holds 150 with an extended mag
Decreased base bullet damage from 45 to 40
Increased recoil
Found on ALL maps
Semi-rare spawn
UMP-45
An increase in power across the board, making the UMP a more viable choice for your arsenal.
Increased base bullet damage from 39 to 41
Increased rate of fire from 650 to 670
Increased muzzle velocity from 300 to 360
This means an increase to the speed at which bullets leave the barrel, making it a bit easier to track moving targets.
DBS
Removed from Care Packages
Now found on ALL maps as rare ground loot
Dev Note: Due to community feedback, we’re changing some of our initial plans. The M249 will be available on ALL maps as uncommon ground loot, as will the DBS which has also been removed from Care Packages.
Alongside these balance changes, the M249 and Tommy Gun models and firing sounds have been updated.
‘Console QOL: 1st Controller improvement’ on Preset A
On PresetA, while holding Aim/ADS, you will keep your Aim/ADS even if you take an action such as falling, jumping, crouching or prone.
Example) When moving while holding ADS, you fall down the hill or under the building:
Before: You must release the ADS button and hold it again
After: You will continue to hold your ADS as soon as the falling action is finished
Dev Note: After the 5.2 update last of ‘Console QOL: 1st Controller improvement’, we’ve received feedback to apply this on PresetA as well. Here we brought into Preset A! Thank you for using well of our updated features and hope this deployment provides enjoyable play experience.
Quality of Life Improvements
Improved visibility of nearby items on the ground by enhancing the glowing effect and adding a new pulse effect
The new pulse effect can be disabled and is listed as “Item Flashing Effect” under Gameplay settings
[Team Deathmatch] Invincibility will now be removed instantly when engaging in combat (firing a weapon, throwing grenade etc.)
[Team Deathmatch] Now Rich Presence will let your Xbox friends know when you’re fragging in TDM
Sound
Added additional ringtone for the Sticky Bomb
Low volume humming sound can now be heard while within 10~15m from Blue Zone
This should help players identify when the Blue Zone is getting close

Gundam Battle Operation 2 Update 1.25 is now available on the PlayStation 4, bringing with it a number of fixes, but most importantly, a new co-operative game mode.
Gundam Battle Operation 2 Update 1.25 weights approximately 1.2GB. As of writing, the full patch notes are not yet available, though down below you can read up on the new Battle Simulation feature along with some additional new content.
About Battle Simulation:
It is a “Battle Simulation” where you fight against MS piloted by AI in various situations.
There are 3 types in “Battle Simulator”. “TRIAL” mode where you can test drive MS, “SURVIVAL” mode where waves of enemy MS will rush straight at you, and “BOSS” mode where you fight against titanic MS.
Additionally, you can earn rewards by achieving the fastest times in the “Time Attack Function”.
The three modes are as followed:
Trial Mode – This mode will have you play hand-picked MS suits from the developers as you are tasked to take down a specific target. Even if you don’t own the suit you will still be able to use it.
Survival Mode – As the name suggests, the goal here is to survive all the waves until the final one.
Boss Mode – You are tasked with taking out a certain number of enemies MS, in which afterward a Boss MS will spawn that you must defeat in order to finish the mission.
The modes can be played with two additional friends (3 player mode), and if you are able to invite anyone, they will be replaced by AI-controlled bots.
Additional information on Battle Simulation Mode
Regarding Infantry – In Battle Simulator, you cannot act as infantry during a mission.
MS Repair – In Battle Simulator, MS repair is done by “crouching or lying down” on the ground and “staying put” in space.
Respawning after being destroyed- If you are destroyed by an enemy MS during a mission, you will immediately respawn at the designated point for each mission.
There is no limit on the number of respawns, and you can challenge the mission as many times as you want within the time limit.
The update also brings the start of the Spring Festival, which introduces the Zeta Gundam to the game. It will also introduce some new limited timed missions and 10 free weekly lottery drops that can be claimed once a week for the next four weeks.
We’ll update this post once the full patch notes become available. GBO2 is now available on the PlayStation 4 for free.

While microtransactions in games are usually hated by gamers, every now and then, it manages to redeem itself for a good cause. Well, we have just that with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Defender Pack! This cosmetic DLC is part of the Call of Duty Endowment initiative by Activision to benefit military veterans.
Priced at $9.99 (or 1,000 COD Points), players will get 11 items in it. There’s a Blueprint for the .357 revolver, an Operator watch that shows the Call of Duty Endowment logo, stickers, emblems and more! Check out a quick look at what’s in it in the image below sent via the press release.
According to Activision, 100 percent of the net proceeds received from the Modern Warfare Defender Pack will “directly to placing military veterans into high quality jobs through the Call of Duty Endowment.”
This is your way of supporting veterans, and at the same time, get something nice in return in the game, too.
Rainbow Six Siege players who can’t get enough customization in the game, the Rainbow Six Siege new Battle Pass is now available! Called “Around the World,” there are 35 tiers in total, and 50 rewards.
This new Rainbow Six Siege Battle Pass runs from March 25 to April 22 (four weeks), with one Free track, and one Premium track. We’ve taken a screenshot of all the rewards available (via Ubisoft), which you can check out below.
Who doesn’t want free stuff, right? Well, if you do, and you’re a Battlefield fan, here’s your chance to get the game for free! Currently, DICE is giving away free Battlefield 5 codes for PS4!
This giveaway is being done now on Twitter, with winners being at random provided they follow the instructions.
Easy, right? Now if you already have the game, tag a friend so they have a chance to snag one. There’s 20 total codes being given away, and no mention of when the drawing will happen, but I assume it’ll be either today or before the week’s done.
This is definitely a nice gesture by the studio given a lot of people around the world are cooped up i their houses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you’d rather play other Battlefield games, don’t forget, there’s double XP happening now on Battlefield 1, BF4 and Battlefield Hardline! There’s also a community play event planned for tomorrow as well, which you can read more about here.
For those unaware, DICE released a battle royale mode for Battlefield 5 last year called “Firestorm.” While the mode is still active, the Battlefield 5 Firestorm mode sadly hasn’t receieved the kind of support the base game has so far.
Over on Twitter, a few ex-DICE and ex-Criterion devs (Criterion was part of the studio that helped with Firestorm) talked about the battle royale mode, and what could have been.
One year ago, we were releasing #firestorm a BF mode about a tractor, a ring of fire and some cans… It’s my favorite project – loads of hard work, loads of fun too, worked and met tons of awesome people including you (yes you!) – Arthur Rohart (Former Criterion dev)
It was a blast, even for us over at DICE LA. I wish it would have been released as a standalone f2p. If so, it would be in a different place today. – Jojje Dalunde (Ex-Producer at DICE)
Answering fan questions, one gamer asked Dalunde what he wants to see in the next Battlefield game, but the ex-producer has one thing in mind and it’s mod support — something he doesn’t think we’ll see in a Battlefield game again anytime soon.
The list is longer than what Twitter constraints allow. But high on the list: Mod-support.
I don't believe we will see mod support back in Battlefield anytime soon, as much as I would love it. And when I think of mod support, I am thinking about great projects such as Desert Combat, Project Reality, Forgotten Hope, custom maps etc. This was reality in BF1942 & BF2.

While there’s still a chance for DICE to save Firestorm, that doesn’t seem to be on the docket anytime soon, especially now that a lot of the devs are working from home and have already mentioned how updates will see “short delays” given the COVID-19 pandemic.
In case you didn’t know, IllFonic (Friday the 13th: The Game) has a treat for PS4 and PC gamers this weekend, as their upcoming game, Predator: Hunting Grounds, is getting a free trial weekend! Those looking to play the Predator Hunting Grounds free trial, we got the full overview of what to expect for this assymetrical, 4v1 shooter.
The Map: Overgrowth
Nestled deep in the South American mountains lies Overgrowth. As you enter the map you will feel the claustrophobic environment of the dense jungle. It will make you feel a bit lost as you try to make your way on the jungle ground or up in the trees, depending which character you are playing as.
This hot, remote jungle location harbors a significant presence of hostile guerrilla forces and operatives from the rogue Project Stargazer, a former government program now attempting to gain financially from discovering alien tech. Both Fireteam and Predator players will have to contend against these dangerous enemies while facing each other.
For those going up against the Predator, there four total classes in the game, with the free trial showcasing three of ’em.
Assault – The Assault class is a well-rounded specialist with an affinity for leading the mission.
Scout – A quick, agile soldier that can cover the combat areas at great speed.
Support – This is the Fireteam member they call in to really soak up the damage with their extra health and damage resistance
Aside from the classes, the game has a wide range of weapons, with the trial giving players a chance to try a few weapons from each weapon type (shotgun, assault rifles, etc.). Of course, this can’t be a multiplayer shooter without unlocks and upgrades. Players can expect magazines, scopes and more to unlock, as well as perks, med kits, ammo bags and more to be available.
The Predator
Those who want to play as the supreme killing machine as the Predator, there will be three classes of the hunter! The Hunter, Berserker, and the Scout. Players will be able to choose between a male and female variant of the Predator and each has different armor to customize their look.
As the deadliest hunter in the universe, you have access to a plethora of off-world tech and weaponry. The classic arsenal will be the foundation of each Predator loadout. The Plasma Caster for ranged combat, the wrist blades for close encounters, infrared vision mode to track down your prey, and advanced cloaking for staying stealthy. Other weapons, perks, and gear will be available for unlock as players level up, such as the Smart Disc, Combistick, and more.
The Predator can also sefl-destruct in case they find themselves overwhelmed by the Fireteam going after them.
The game client will be available for download this Friday in Japan at 3pm JST, in Europe at 4pm GMT, and in North America at 5pm PST.
Predator: Hunting Grounds will be out this April 24 on the PS4, and PC.
An official email that is making its way to newsletter subscribers, may have just confirmed the Mortal Kombat 11 Ash Williams DLC that was originally leaked back when the game launched.
The leak comes from an official email from Warner Brothers, stating that the latest DLC character, Spawn, is now available to purchase for everyone. Upon inspecting the email, if you glance near the bottom at all the registered trademarks of characters in the game, you’ll notice one that is yet to be confirmed.
Image via Discord
You can clearly see all the guest characters with their respective trademark owners, but the most interesting one of the bunch is the character Ash from the Evil Dead franchise. In this case, it’s his version from the Army of Darkness, the third film in the series. While not officially called “Evil Dead 3”, Army of Darkness was a direct sequel to the second film, with Ash Williams being sent back in time during the medieval age. It was meant to be a reboot with a loose continuation from the second film. This is a bit important to know, as Bruce Campbell confirmed himself that Evil Dead’s Ash William would be appearing in the game a little less than a year back.
With it being marketed as “Army of Darkness”, this could very well mean that the team is considering it to be outside of the original two Evil Dead titles, along with Tv Show and upcoming Evil Dead game. Of course, it could simply mean that Bruce Campbell is under NDA, and guest stars who have appeared in Mortal Kombat titles have all denied rumors only to confirm them later.
Known MK11 dataminer, TheThiny also noted that the character was readded into the game with the recent update along with a few others.
Sheeva, Fujin, Ash have been readded into the game with yesterday’s update.
Guess we will have to find out, and probably sooner since the Kombat Pass has concluded. We’ll be sure to keep you all updated on the subject, but for now, consider Mortal Kombat 11 Ash Williams DLC to still be rumored.

As if our review of DOOM Eternal wasn’t glowing enough praise, Bethesda has sent a press release today that annonunces that the DOOM Eternal sales in its first weekend has broken franchise records!
In the press release, Bethesda has announced that DOOM Eternal has now doubled the launch revenue of DOOM 2016, and was the best-selling game of the week on Steam as well, where it amassed over 100,000 concurrent players on the platform. DOOM Eternal has “quickly” broken the franchise record for opening weekend sales as well.
In other DOOM Eternal news, id Software has talked about the game’s Battle Pass and more which you can read about here. Speaking of our DOOM Eternal review, here’s what we had to say about it:
This is going to be a tough year for me when it’s over, because I know I’m gonna have a hard time picking out what my Game of The Year will be. DOOM Eternal is right up there, and for id Software to build upon the 2016 release and go above further, Eternal easily earns a spot as a contender. It’s good old fun from the early days of gaming when all you wanted to do was just shoot things and not care about anything else. The
Congrats, Bethesda and id Software! Let’s hope we get more single-player DLC soon as well.
Global pandemic or not, Rebellion has released Zombie Army 4 update 1.07 today, and it’s not just for bug fixes! This is a rather small patch for Zombie Army 4: Dead War, which you can read about below.
Zombie Army 4 update 1.07 patch notes:
Support for Weekly Events
Fix for headshot not dealing ful damage to Elties
And that’s basically it! The last update, released two weeks ago, had a much bigger list of changes, which you can read about here. You might also want to check the Zombie Army 4 roadmap to see what’s coming to the shooter this year.
If you haven’t picked it up yet, Zombie Army 4: Dead War pleasantly surprised us! Read our review where we rated it highly and said, “Zombie Army 4: Dead War may not be pushing the series to new heights, and that’s okay as it offers exactly what players come to expect. Its story is engaging enough with its campiness, environmental settings will keep you hooked, and the online co-op makes more fun of the dumb fun nonsense that the solo play already supplies. I highly suggest Zombie Army 4: Dead War to anyone looking for a good co-op game. That and anyone wanting more zombie slayings in their life.”
If you spot any changes not listed in the patch notes, let us know down in the comments.
Those playing the legacy or older Battlefield games like Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, and Battlefield 1, DICE has triggered double XP for all three titles starting today for a limited time!
This was announced by DICE Producer Jaqub Ajmal over on Twitter today:
BF4, BFH and BF1 – Oopsie. We seem to have tripped over some Double XP levers. These may or not work, but they seem to be working, I think? Maybe? Yes! Sorry about that, we will do our best to remove it at our best snail pace. pic.twitter.com/1h9VOokSiw

Speaking of Battlefield Hardline (remember that game?) Visceral Games’ lone Battlefield title is getting some love tomorrow! Ajmal, along with YouTubers Westie and SteezeMcQueen will be jumping back in on different platforms to spark the game’s community back up.
Hardline Thursday – Cops and robbers, it's time to reinstall Battlefield Hardline. Tomorrow at lunchtime between 12-13 CET we will be jumping back in, yeah? I will be on Xbox gamertag: gunhero @MrProWestie will be on PC and @SteezeMcQueen1 will be on PS4. See you there! pic.twitter.com/IbqRIkqnu9

Speaking past Battlefield games, Battlefield 1 is now on a rotating feature game mode schedule! As for those looking forward to the latest title — Battlefield 5 — the franchise, DICE has mentioned that patches and updates will be rolled out much smaller due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Heads up, Agents! While The Division 2 is coming back for maintenance now, some players might not know that The Division TU8.4 patch has been released. Console gamers will see this as The Division 2 Update 1.20, and there’s a fair number of gameplay changes included. Clocking in at 2.7GB on PS4, check out The Division 2 update 1.20 patch notes below.
The Division 2 update 1.20 patch notes:
Gameplay changes
Seasonal Manhunt is changed to allow progress at Normal difficulty and above. This will make playing together easier as all players will gain progress no matter what difficulty was set by the group leader.
Seasonal Manhunt is receiving a button in the Manhunt UI that allows players to reset the Manhunt to replay it. This allows players to reset the progress specifically and without changing the Global Difficulty.
This also means changing the Global Difficulty will not reset the Seasonal Manhunt and players are required to reset it via the Seasonal Manhunt UI.
Coyote’s Mask will drop from Coyote with an increased drop chance on higher difficulties.
We are also looking into providing the Mask for players that have not received them even though they reached Season Rank 35.
Increasing the reward quality for the following Open World Activities to be in line with other activities: Public Execution, Settlement Blockade and Propaganda Broadcast.
Reward caches from Conflict matches at maximum level are now of High-End quality.
Balancing changes:
Developer Note:
The game was tuned in a way that playing the exact same enemy composition at higher difficulties and higher player counts would match to the expected gear of that difficulty and extra players added. However, since the game also adds more Elites and Veterans to accommodate higher difficulty and player counts, this caused tuning to overcompensate health and damage higher than intended. We are thus lowering many of these values.
Reduce NPC Damage output for all difficulties.
This applies to all NPCs and activities and enemies will do less damage to players compared to their current damage output.
Reduce NPC Health and Amor for group scaling.
Enemy Health and Armor scaling for 2-, 3- and 4-player groups based on Veterancy.
This means Red, Veteran, Elite and Named enemies will have their Health and Armor reduced compared to their current values.
Additionally, we are adjusting Health and Armor based on activity difficulty.
This applies to Hard and Challenging difficulties where enemies will have lower Health and Armor compared to their current values.
An exception are Heroic and Legendary difficulty enemies which will have their Health and Armor increased to compensate for the group scaling reductions to their values.
Developer Note: We still intend Heroic and Legendary to be very challenging. Therefore, we are increasing the base difficulty to account for the health reductions for co-op scaling. Compared to now this means Heroic and Legendary will be a bit harder for solo players and 2-player groups, 3-player difficulty will stay roughly the same, and 4-player difficulty will be easier.
Black Tusk specific adjustments which went live earlier last week
Reduced the health of Warhounds.
Reduced damage of Warhound Sniper.
Reduced the damage of the 360 spin of Warhound minigun.
Increased the intention icon duration of the 360 spin from Warhound Minigun to give players more time to react.
Reduced weak point health of Warhound Grenadier’s Control Unit.
Support Station
Reduced Base Health of Support Station.
Adjusted health scaling of Support Station with Veterancies.
Increased likelihood of Support Stations being deployed in the open (away from cover).
EMP effects will now damage the Support Station.
Lvl 30 WT1-WT5 Content
NPC Damage, Health and Armor will receive additional reductions.
Developer Note: Pre-Warlords of New York content has lower maximum values to weapon damage, skill damage, and armor (etc.) than level 31+ content so difficulty is now tuned separately for pre-expansion world tier content.
PvP Balance Changes:
All PvP weapon damage: – 20%
PvP Rifles: an additional -10%
PvP MMRs: an additional -10%
Skills
Cluster Seeker Mine:
Reduced distance to bull charge from 12m to 10m.
Reduced distance from end to explode from 6m to 4m.
Developer Note: These changes should make the Cluster Seeker Mine feel a bit more responsive.
Bug fixes
Fixed missing dialogue localization for Brazilian Portuguese on Stadia.
Fixed an issue causing developer UI elements being visible in the Language and Settings menu.
Implemented improvements for data streaming issues on PlayStation 4.
Fixed an issue that could cause in-game settings to reset after a player respawns.
Fixed an issue causing the Seasonal Manhunt progress to reset when changing Directives.
Fixed an issue causing the Apparel Event Urban Jungle schedule to not show correctly in-game.
Fixed an issue causing Target Intel to be delivered to the mailbox. This was now removed as Target Intel is no longer used in the game.
Fixed an issue causing the Sticky Bomb to not do damage under certain circumstances.
Fixed an issue causing the Shock Trap deploys to be very close together when launched.
Fixed an issue causing Global Difficulty to affect the Operation Dark Hours raid.
Fixed an issue causing Specializations to not unlock while owning the Ultimate Edition or having purchased the Year 1 Bundle.
Fixed an issue causing Season rewards to be skipped and instead giving players duplicates when gaining multiple Season Levels.
Fixed an issue causing the objective “Complete the Roosevelt Island Mission on Hard or Higher Difficulty” to not count towards the Daily Project Outcast Hunt.
Fixed an issue that could cause the Level 35 Season reward to not be delivered.
Fixed an issue causing unintended Health values on Shields.
Fixed an issue causing Season Ranks to be reset.
Fixed an issue that caused League Mission Timers to reset when a Rogue encounter wiped the group.
Once we get more news regarding this week’s State of the Game (if there is one), we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

In the latest episode of The Borderlands Show, Gearbox showcased gameplay of the upcoming campaign DLC, Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, which is due this March 26! While the DLC isn’t free, it will come with two free content updates that applies to all players! Starting this Thursday, the Borderlands 3 next level cap increase will kick in and the maximum Vault Hunter rank will be 57 (up form level 53 previously). Players can earn four additional skill points and equip two more capstone abilities at once!

Mayhem Mode 2.0 will include changes to the user interface (UI), additional Mayhem modifiers, and even a brand-new, Mayhem-specific weapon drop system.
As for Revenge of the Cartels, it’s set to launch alongside Mayhem 2.0, and will be a new six-week seasonal event that will affect the entire Borderlands 3 universe. Players will need to help Maurice wipe his debt clean to some rather unruly individuals.
You need to help Maurice wipe his slate clean by taking care of different thugs hiding out across the solar system including areas added in campaign add-ons; you’ll recognize them by their flashy neon attire. Once you’ve eliminated enough of these operatives, Maurice will use his handy portal device on Sanctuary III to whisk you away to The Mansion, a swanky new map where Joey Ultraviolet and his goons are hiding out.
Your encounters in The Mansion will change depending on which of three distinct gangs currently reigns over the Cartel. You won’t know what kind of enemies to expect until you’re in the thick of battle, beyond the fact that you’ll never fight the same faction twice in a row. Better yet, each gang has some unique loot drops and Anointed parts, so repeat runs are highly encouraged. An added suite of Cartel-themed Challenges will let you unlock Revenge of the Cartels gear, including some ‘80s-tastic Vault Hunter cosmetics. And of course, you’ll have the option to turn Revenge of the Cartels on or off as you choose for the duration of the event.
Once this patch is out, expect us to report on all the changes ASAP.
Dubbed as the “N64 SP,” this modded console (or handheld?) brings the best of both worlds as it offers the library of the N64, with the ease of portability that the Gameboy Advance SP offered.
Of course, mini and portable N64 are nothing new as over the years countless modders have achieved it, but what makes this one so special is that the PIF (Peripheral interface) has been relocated and is now properly working with a trimmed N64 Motherboard. Meaning smaller designs are now possible. This discovering comes from known hardware modder, Gman_Modz who has worked other mini-portable consoles in the past. This news came to light back in January, in a published blog post by Gman_Modz:
The N64 used to be the most popular system to portable, we’d see a new N64p almost every week. Then as we pushed onto modern systems, the N64 saw less and less action. The N64 was basic enough to cut down, but was notoriously finicky when doing ambitious trims and would sometimes stop working for seemingly no reason. For a console that was portablized since the beginning of this hobby, it was the least well documented and we knew very little about its inner connections.
Modders have pondered for years if it were possible to do a PIF relocation since the motherboard is known for requiring specific trace impedances and doing a wire relocation might not be physically possible. I decided to give it a try to put the myth to rest. First I cut off the section of the board with the PIF on it. Then using the N64 rev9 motherboard compendium provided from my pal ShockSlayer, I traced out the connections and recreated everything with wires.
Two months later and his project has finally come to a finish, with him showing off the N64 SP in a recently published video.
Talk about crazy! We highly recommend you take a look at his other videos on the channel as they show him doing the exact same thing with the Wii, Dreamcast, and even the PlayStation 2!
For those who love making custom hardware like this, be on the lookout on Gman’s blog page as he will have a comprehensive guide for both Trimming the N64 board and relocating the PIF to make this all possible.

Those looking forward to the next major Star Wars Battlefront 2 update, you’ll going to have to wait a bit more. DICE announced that the Star Wars Battlefront 2 The Battle of Scarif has been delayed to mid-April!
This is due to the studio’s new work from home initiative all brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. DICE has announced this a few weeks ago where it also mentioned that short delays will be coming to Battlefield 5’s updates.
Check out the full announcement made by DICE to the community below:
Hey everyone,
We wanted to give you a few updates on Star Wars Battlefront II. As you may have seen, last week DICE began its work from home operations in order to best protect the team’s health and well-being.
The Star Wars team have now moved away from our office setup and into our homes.
Work continues on the game but the adjustment from the office environment into our homes has caused some knock-on effects to our workflows. We’re currently streamlining these processes and adapting as we move forward.
As a result of this we have decided to move the release of the Battle on Scarif Update to Mid-April. This is our new target time-frame but as the situation continues to develop, we will keep you posted on any further timing adjustments.
The next update will see Supremacy arrive for the Age of Rebellion. Headlined by the return to the tropical planet of Scarif, the mode will also feature a number of Age of Rebellion locations. We have some updates for Instant Action, including the addition of the Age of Rebellion as well as a new way to play offline.
Both Co-Op and Heroes Vs Villains will be receiving some additional locations and we can confirm that there will be some new hero and villain appearances arriving as well. What fun!
We’ll be bringing you more details on the Battle on Scarif Update in the coming weeks, alongside the full deployment plans as soon as we have things confirmed.
As a reminder we have enabled x2 Exp and there will also be a x3 Exp in-game event March 27-29.
We look forward to seeing you on the battlefront.
May the Force be with you The Star Wars Battlefront II Team
With how things are shaping up globally, new content being delayed a few weeks isn’t all that big of a deal. Once we get the Community Transmission for this update, we’ll be sure to let everyone know.
In case you didn’t know, Infinity Ward was supposed to roll out a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update today (patch or a server-side one, we don’t know for sure just yet), that was supposed to bring in a new multiplayer map, new weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone and more. Well, it seems we just got confirmation that the Modern Warfare March 24 update has been delayed!
This was announced by Infinity Ward over on Twitter:
Tonight’s scheduled title update is being delayed and is set to release in the coming days. This update includes our new Operator, Talon, new free modes, and our next free multiplayer map, Khandor Hideout. Please stay tuned for more details and updates on release timing!
Tonight’s scheduled title update is being delayed and is set to release in the coming days. This update includes our new Operator, Talon, new free modes, and our next free multiplayer map, Khandor Hideout. Please stay tuned for more details and updates on release timing!
In case you didn’t know, this update was set to bring in the new Khandor Hideout multiplayer map, and more. Here are some of the specifics via Activision.
Experience a new battleground with Khandor Hideout. This medium-sized map in Urzikistan supports 6v6 play and has long sight lines and interior spaces to complement diverse combat ranges. The large centrally located warehouse is a hub of activity and haven for CQB players. Hunt down your enemies and be wary of marksmen firing down lanes in Khandor Hideout. This new map is available tomorrow, so ready up to jump in and play.
There’s a new Operator named Talon as well which is included in his own DLC bundle that includes two Legendary weapon blueprints, and two tier skips for the Battle Pass.
As for Warzone, there are four weapons — the 725, MK2 Carbine, .50 GS, and EBR-14 — which will be available in both Common and Uncommon variants.
Aside from the content mentioned above, there’s the possibility of gameplay fixes, and more included. Of course, there’s a chance that stealth changes are part of this too. Chances are, we’ll see this update come Thursday or Friday. Once we know more, we’ll let our readers know ASAP.
Despite the major impact that COVID-19 is currently having on the world market, a recent website update has re-confirmed that the PS5 holiday 2020 release is still on track.
The update comes from the official PlayStation 5 website, which now sees some new text along with the heading “PlayStation® 5 is coming. Launches holiday 2020”
We’ve begun to unveil more details behind the technical and hardware components that make PlayStation 5 such an innovative and powerful platform – the ultra-high-speed SSD, integrated custom I/O system, custom AMD GPU with ray tracing, and highly immersive 3D audio. With these capabilities, PS5™ will allow developers to maximize their creativity, building expansive worlds and new play experiences in the games they design.
For more details on the technical specs of PS5, visit PlayStation Blog for a developer deep dive from Mark Cerny, lead system architect.
This news just comes five days after the official reveal of the PlayStation 5 specs, along with Microsoft also confirming that the Xbox Series X will launch this Holiday season. This is certainly great news for all of us who are anticipating the next-gen consoles, though I would advise expecting the worse. With COVID-19 still being a growing issue with many countries, including the United States, we can’t be too sure about what will happen down the road. Hopefully, nothing and this whole mess just clears up sooner, rather than later. For now, continue to anticipate the PS5 holiday 2020 release until further notice.

Announced last week, Warframe Operation Scarlet Spear is a go and is live on PC! The full Warframe Operation Scarlet Spear patch notes are below, and some of the key new stuff include new story events, and introduces the operation link feature.
Open your eyes to a new Drusus tale with the Nova Leverian! Access the Leverian through the Codex or Market (via Nova).
Mastery Rank 28 Tenno can now practice the Mastery Rank 29 Test in Cephalon Simaris’ Relay room!
Added custom reload sounds for the Miter!
Added an option in Captura to ‘Enable Self-Knockdown’.
Impact Changes:
Instead of ending in a knockdown or ragdoll, accumulating 5+ Impact Effects will now result in a “big stagger” with smaller staggers leading up to it, which has a random chance to activate a Parazon Finisher if the enemy is under the Health threshold. Each Impact Status adds 10% chance for the Parazon Finisher to be available.
Gas Changes:
Gas Effects will continue to tick radial Damage-over-Time for the average of the remaining Effect duration if their host dies.
Gas Status Area-of-Effect radius increases with the number of stacks, to a max of 10 stacks.
Removed Gas damage resistance from Toxic Ancient Auras.
Status Chance Mod Changes:
Increased Hammer Shot Status Chance from 40% to 80%.
Increased Shattering Justice Status Chance from 20% to 90%.
Shattering Justice has also changed from being an additive rankup to a multiplicative rankup.
Increased Stunning Speed Status Chance from 10% to 30%.
Kuva Lich Changes:
Based on feedback with the recent overhaul to Status Effects in Warframe Revised 27.2.0, the conversation of how Status Effects should react with Bosses or VIPS has started. Our first step down this road is starting with Kuva Liches. Currently, there are two special rules to this “Boss Status enabling”:
No Status Effect will exceed a maximum of 4 stacks, with the exception of Impact which can stack up to 6 times.
Keep in mind there is a cooldown to how quickly you can stack up Impact Status Effects to avoid stunlocking the Kuva Lich.
Radiation does not change the enemy’s Faction, and instead of increasing Damage done to enemies with stacks, it increases the Damage taken from enemies who have turned on him/her.
We look forward to your constructive feedback and we work towards applying this to other Bosses/VIPS.
Optimizations:
Further performance improvements towards Titania’s Lantern when cast on a large group of enemies. This particularly affected systems set to Low Particle Quality.
Improved cache optimization to clean up even more space in the download cache.
Improved world-state synchronization for Alerts, Sorties and other global events (there may have been up to a minute of desync).
Optimized backdrop rendering performance in all levels.
Fixed Codex generation randomizing the block order of the Fragment entries (this should be deterministic to avoid updating several MB of resource for no reason).
Improved game synchronization in hostile network environments.
Railjack Changes & Fixes:
Added Battle and Tactical Avionic categories in the Avionics Upgrade screen.
Crewship boarding will be denied when the meltdown timer has 3 seconds remaining.
This is to avoid multiple issues with being put into a broken state due to the boarding cinematic competing with the Crewship exploding/attempting to teleport you out.
Removed the hanger door of the Grineer POI with the ‘Steal the Destroyer’ objective to resolve issues of the door not opening. When in doubt take it out!
Upon returning back to the Railjack after exiting through the Archwing Cannon, you’ll now be spawned at the back of the Railjack bridge instead of near the Forging Bay.
Enemies that you’re focused on while in a Turret will now display their Status Effect stacks.
Fixed Exo Skold Crewships in the Veil Proxima dropping Mk I Armaments. They will now drop MK III Armaments as intended.
Fixed the UI in the Super Weapon Platform not updating after the Radiator is destroyed for Clients.
Fixed inability to disengage bombs placed by Grineer Boarding Parties if a Host migration occurs during a Railjack mission.
Fixed incorrect Archwing movement animations if you exit the Railjack while Bullet Jumping (Moving left will play the forward animation, moving forward will play the moving right animation, etc).
Fixed a bug where the screenshake from a Grineer Crewship reactor meltdown would linger forever if it was active when the Crewship exploded.
Fixed Grineer fighters attacking the Derelict POI in Veil Proxima missions.
Fixed Tactical Menu not displaying correct Battle Avionic values that have had their Grid Upgraded in the Dry Dock.
Fixed case of Crewships sometimes staying completely still.
Fixed seeing black boxes when in Turret AR mode.
Fixed Railjack fighters sometimes going out of level bounds while in combat.
Fixed the ‘Forge All’ button having no effect or sound.
Fixed having to click the ‘Railjack Crew’ button twice when selecting it from Dojo Navigation.
Fixed Railjack name text lingering behind when joining another player’s squad and loading into their Dry Dock.
Fixed missing looping sounds for Ramsleds in the Saturn Proxima and Veil Proxima.
Fixed a script error when casting the Railjack Void Hole ability.
Foundry Crafting Time Change:
As per player request, we’ve reduced Forma, Orokin Catalyst, Orokin Reactor, and Exilus Warframe Adapter build time to 23 hours so that 1 can be built consistently every day.
Magus Lockdown Changes:
We are making changes to Magus Lockdown due to it being virtually one of the best CC and Damage combinations in the game. In some cases you can clear waves of Elite Sanctuary Onslaught without even using a Warframe or Weapon, and simply spam Magus Lockdown to victory. This goes well beyond the intended use of it and we are changing it to a CC only Arcane – true to its name – Magus Lockdown!
Magus Lockdown will no longer apply Puncture damage to tethered enemies.
The amount of active Tethers is now limited to 2 per player.
For example, Void Dash once > one Tether, Void Dash again > 2nd Tether, Void Dash a 3rd time > 3rd Tether, 1st Tether dies etc..
Magus Lockdown no longer affects the Golden Maw due to the Arcane killing the Maw and preventing Quest completion.
This also fixes a script error when Magus Lockdown activates while encountering a Golden Maw.
Grendel Changes:
Grendel’s Nourish now mimic’s Titania’s Tribute buff selector.
If you’re unfamiliar with Titania’s Tribute buff selector, this means that Nourish is a tap to cycle/select buff and hold to cast. This is a reverse of how it functioned prior to this Update.
When consumed by Grendel, Sentients now have a max duration they can be consumed before popping out that is affected by diminishing returns.
This change was made to prevent Grendel from prog stopping missions where all Sentients must be exterminated for the mission to succeed.
Grendel can now consume Grenades – cause why not!
Titania Changes & Fixes:
Titania has a new Passive: Titania generates Health for herself and nearby Allies every time she casts an Ability (4hp/second for 20 seconds)! The personal Titania Parkour Boost is staying, just the communal Trampoline isn’t.
Titania can now use Blink while in her Razorwing ability!
Fixed casting Titania’s Razorwing right as you fall into a teleport volume in the Simulacrum resulting in an infinite white screen.
Arcane UI Changes:
Updated the Arcane ‘DISTILL’ term to ‘BREAK DOWN’ to acquaint new Arcane Management mechanics.
Added tips to the Arcane screen for ‘BREAK DOWN’, Arcanes that refresh, and how to obtain respective Arcanes.
Arcanes are now displayed with their respective Icon in the HUD, instead of the generic Arcane icon.
The Rank-Up callout is now displayed to the left of the next Arcane Rank in the Arcane Upgrade screen when using a controller.
Arcanes that are sold in Vendor Offerings will now only show Max Rank tooltip information, and UI indication that the Arcane you’re purchasing is Unranked.
This fixes Arcane tooltips expanding off screen when viewed in Vendor Offerings.
Clarified Arcane requirements for Arcane Trickery, Arcane Ultimatum, and Exodia Might by adding ‘Kill’ to the ‘On Finisher’ line.
General Changes:
Increased Status Chance for the Gunblade type weapons to match new Shotgun Status Chance values.
Made Fall Off changes to the following weapons:
Redeemer
Fall Off increased from 20-40m to 10-20m.
Redeemer Prime
Fall Off increased from 20-40m to 10-30m.
The Rakta Dark Dagger Shield bonus when damaging an enemy afflicted by Radiation is now only granted if you have Shields.
Atlas’ Immovable Passive now also applies to Staggers.
Added support for Bosses to display active Status Effects on their special Health bar.
Removed Stealth Melee bonus always applying to Simulacrum enemies when ‘Pause AI’ is enabled, thus giving non authentic numbers when testing Loadouts.
The Warframe Upgrade Arsenal stats now display Resistance values granted by Mods:
Made spawn changes to improve flow of enemies in the Lua Survival tileset.
Removed knockdown from Elite Shield Lancer grenades.
Charging weapons, like the Staticor, previously only showed Charged Attack Damage in the Arsenal stats, we now additionally show Quick Shot Damage values below the Charged Attack stats.
You will no longer receive Ghoul Threat Inbox messages due to their redundancy.
Enemies inside Void Fissure Spy vaults that are not engaged in combat will no longer become Corrupted.
This fixes enemies in Void Fissure Spy vaults setting off alarms when becoming Corrupted.
Fixed enemies that possess Damage types that affect Shields directly (Sentient Battalyst, etc) also affecting your Health.
Fixed Exodia Contagion not triggering if your weapon is out of Ammo.
Fixed Mirage’s Explosive Legerdemain Augment damaging everything within range, including allies or even the Defense objective, if the Mirage leaves the game session.
Fixed Equinox Duality Augment causing the clone to hold their weapon funny if spawned during Pistol + Glaive mode.
Fixed the Juggernaut’s quill-firing attack animation not showing for Clients.
Fixed Mag’s Magnetize sometimes making enemies orbit around a central target when ‘Magnetic Pull’ was maxed with Mods.
Fixed Mag Pulling certain enemies that should not be pushed/pulled.
Fixed missing Kuva Lich image in their farewell transmission when Vanquished.
Potential fix for Steam rarely and mysteriously uninstalling Warframe.

Fixed cases where Corpus Ratels were spawning as friendly and thus invincible.
Fixed Radial Attack Mods not having any effect on Tombfinger Kitguns.
Fixed Shield Restores not fully resetting Shield Gate duration.
Fixed the Simulacrum’s ‘Invincibility’ option not applying to Clients.
Fixed some players receiving duplicate Mastery for the Mote Amp.
The duplicate Mastery will be removed on login.

Fixed doing a weird Melee Slam during a Self-Stagger.
The Slam will occur after the Stagger has finished.
Fixed Heavy Melee Slam Attacks not triggering Hydroid’s Passive to spawn a Tentacle.
It’s intended to only be Octavia’s abilities that triggers the buff.
Fixed inability to lift off the ground when casting Hildryn’s Aegis Storm ability.
Fixed missions that pre-check eligibility for Archwings not actually checking.
Fixed receiving an error upon donating more than 9,999,999 Credits to the Leverian Donation Box.
Fixed the Arcane Manager ‘Incomplete’ section displaying Arcanes that have been max Ranked.
Fixed Ved Xol from The Index having a physics type that allows him to slide around like the Scrambus enemies despite having the animations of a walking enemy.
Fixed enemy grenade FX not appearing to pulse/flash for Clients.
Fixed the Ballistica firing its arrows sideways when equipped with the Dali Skin.
Fixed Garuda appearing to hold all Melee weapons in a fisticufs style when viewed in the Market.
Fixed the Spore Ephemera not scaling when in Archwing.
Fixed Sugatras being misaligned when equipped on the Lacera.
Fixed the Stratus Pistol Skin animating incorrectly in the Arsenal.
Stratus Pistol now stays in the “idle” pose rather than “holstered” when equipped in the Arsenal.
Fixed the “death by fire burnt body material” applying to unintentional meshes.
Fixed the Jet FX colour on Frost’s Harka Skin resetting back to default when entering the Navigation panel.
Fixed Prime weapon hilts flicking with small movement.
Fixed unnecessary tracer FX on the Dual Decursion projectile.
Fixed a missing window portal in the Lua Exterminate tileset.
Fixed missing wall materials in sections of the Grineer Galleon Defense tilesets.
Fixed Dojo Room selection screen appearing to be partially scrolled down upon first opening.
Fixed Companion stat comparisons in the Arsenal being incorrect, as they were somehow being compared to your Warframe.
Fixed Melee weapon damage stats being shown twice in the Arsenal.
Fixed Volatile Runner Enemy Name lingering in the HUD.
Fixed Mastery Rank 15 Interception test UI using old HUD technology.
Fixed Enemy Names appearing offset at low resolutions if the HUD scale is greater than 100.
Fixed the UI sometimes showing the incorrect binding for Reviving. This was most prevalent on Switch, but could happen on other platforms if you changed bindings before dying.
Fixed having to press ESC twice to exit some menus.
Fixed Opticor Quick Attacks being compared to Charged Attacks and showing green numbers as if there is improvement in the stat summary in the Arsenal.
Fixed Melee Stance combos missing their combo instructions if your Melee attack is bound to the mouse wheel scroll up/ down.
Fixed spinning wildly if initiating movement while an Inbox message was forced open.
Fixed global Boosters not displaying in the UI while in mission.
Fixed parts of the DPD (Detailed Purchase Dialog) appearing hidden when changing resolutions.
Fixed longer Research names going off screen in Clan Research Labs.
Fixed ‘100x Resource’ icons appearing squished in Clan Research Labs.
Fixed ‘Total’ Arsenal Stat positioned incorrectly above Damage values in the UI.
Fixed [PH] tags for Resistance types when looking at a Warframe through a Scanner.
Fixed the Trading Policy popup in the Trade screen coming up every time a Trade is opened for some players.
Fixed Mods showing rankup pips under their name in the tooltip when viewing from a Vendor.
Fixed missing subtitles during final Second Dream cinematic.

Fixed numerous script errors when casting numerous Warframe abilities.
Fixed a script error when a Life Support spawns in a Survival mission.
