Magic: The Gathering inspired free-to-play, online RPG, Magic: Legends unveils the new Pyromancer class to join its ranks in the latest update, which comes with a new story act. The ranged caster class is packed with fire-based skills and techniques for players looking to set the area ablaze.

Story Act IV: Chasing Answers -The ancient and forgotten force that has moved silently in thedarkness is stirring. Performance Upgrade-The dev team has upgraded various environmental and software optimization elements, providing frame rate andcompatibility increases across various PC specs.
Added Features-Today’s update adds several quality-of-life features, including a Random queue system for easier party formation, additional adjustments to the New User Experience for faster onboarding into the heart of Magic: Legendsdeckbuilding and customization, various social/chat improvements and more.
The Pyromancer is the newest addition since the beginning of Magic: Legend’s Open Beta, and will be made available for free until May 24, 10AM PT.
While it won’t be long before Final Fantasy fans get to experience Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on the PS5, it seems that the PS4 version of the game has received an unofficial mod, giving us a taste of 60fps (frames-per-second). Yep that’s right, there is now a unofficial Final Fantasy 7 Remake 60fps patch available!
Taking to their blog yet again, modder and scene researcher illusion0001 has published an all new method at achieving 60fps in the PS4 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Like the Uncharted 4 patch before it, this technique utilizes resolution reduction in order to increase the frame-rate to an uncapped 60fps. The results? Remarkably smooth.
According to illusion0001, the base PS4 runs at a dynamic resolution with targets of 720P and 540P.
Now if you are interested in running this yourself, you will unfortunately need a PS4 with a low enough firmware to support jailbreaking. Seeing that this is a modified patch, current up-to-date systems do not have any public known exploits to run it.
Even so, this is certainly a very interesting discovery made by illusion0001. However, while the experience does appear rather smooth we aren’t sure if the resolution hit is worth the cost. If it’s anything like the Uncharted 4 patch, expect to have a pretty eye watering experience.

Following news last week that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s stable of studios are splitting up after parent company AT&T has merged its entertainment division WarnerMedia with media giant Discovery, it looks like we now know where they’re headed.
Over on Twitter, venture investment company LightShed Ventures partners have mentioned that the “all the major gaming assets” like Mortal Kombat will now go to Warner Discovery — the newly formed company from the merger between WarnerMedia & Discovery.

There’s no word yet on whether there will be changes made to the studios being acquired by WarnerDisovery. We’ve also reached out to WB Games to seek a statement about this, and will update if we hear anything back.

Remember that footage of the prototype build for Gears of War 3 on the PlayStation 3 that released one year ago? Well, seems like the person behind it has decided it was finally time for one last hu-rah, as it has been 10 full years since they started working on it. To celebrate this anniversary, they have decided to release the build to the public.
Twitter user PixelButts made a post yesterday to celebrate the 10 year anniversary since they began work on the prototype Gears of War 3 PlayStation 3 build. In it, he detailed that this would be his last and final prototype release of any kind, clarifying that they have finally “burn out” and that this is their send off gift.
It’s the 10th anniversary of the Gears of War 3 PS3 data being built, so to celebrate I’m releasing it. I no longer plan to release prototype game stuff after this, as this was the last one I was sitting on.
I will not be taking questions, I will not be your tech support. This data was treated with care for accuracy reasons. Although this data is a decade old and has circulated that whole time, I was the first to get it working, and I wanted to keep it as unmodified as possible.
Because I no longer belong to any specific group for prototype game related affairs, I can finally say this chapter of my life is over. I’ve finally burnt out on development collecting and want this to be a good send-off gift.
The prototype build of Gears of War 3 for the PlayStation 3 can be found here, though it will most likely be useless to most users. PixelButts explains that a PS3 Devkit is required, since those variations of consoles have extra RAM over the retail versions. For those hoping to emulate this build using the popular RPCS3 emulator, it will only boot to the title screen and nothing more. More work will be needed in order to properly get it working on the emulator.
As we know, the Gears of War franchise is exclusive to the Xbox. While a prototype build of the original Gears of War 3 does exists for the PlayStation, Epic Games has clarified that this was merely for internal testing of the Unreal Engine 3 and was never intended to be a finished product.
We can only image with this being public now that the community will most likely get it running on emulators. While it is playable, from the footage above it certainly isn’t the smoothest build.

Darkflow Software has released the Enlisted update 1.000.034 patch for the first-person shooter, and this is for the “At the Reichstag Walls” major update. Head on below for the full details.
Today a major update comes to Enlisted with new levels for all campaigns present in the game! Enjoy new squads, weapons and vehicles in the “Battle of Moscow”, the “Invasion of Normandy” and the “Battle of Berlin”.
Additionally, a new stage of the “Battle of Berlin” begins, from today, the campaign is available for all players to try.
The radio device cannot now be unequipped from a radio operator.
The base amount of ammunition for the Enfield No 4 Mk 1 rifle has been changed from 5 to 3 clips and will now be 30 rounds to match other sliding bolt action rifles.
The possibility of upgrading anti-tank rifles has been added.
Recoil impulse on semi-automatic rifles has been increased from 5-10%.
Predictability on recoil of semi-automatic rifles has been slightly reduced.
Roks 2, M1, Flammenwerfer 35 — The capacity of the tank with the flame mixture has been reduced from 25 seconds of continuous fire to 15 seconds.
TOZ-B and Luftwaffe Drilling M30:
The amount of buckshot per shot has been reduced from 24 to 12 and corresponds to other pump-action shotguns.
The damage from buckshot hits has been changed from 4.5 to 2.4.
Progress of 15 levels for the “Battle of Berlin” has been switched on (for all campaign CBT participants).
3 new campaign levels with new vehicles, squads and weaponry have been added for the “Battle for Moscow” and “Invasion of Normandy” campaigns.
GRAPHICS AND ANIMATION
The effects of bullets hitting rocks and other objects in the scene have been improved.
Volumetric fog rendering for better image detail has been improved.
INTERFACE
Quick messages have been added to the ALT menu.
The main menu now shows all soldiers in squads larger than 7 members.
The single improvement tree will now be centered.
Excessively small text size in the login and password fields has been fixed.
GAMEPLAY AND OTHER CHANGES
The character’s braking speed has been increased, which combined with corrections of the camera behavior when braking should eliminate the drift of the sight after releasing the movement buttons.
The player’s swimming speed has been halved.
The radius of deactivation of rally points built by engineers when an enemy approaches has been changed from 10 to 20 meters.
Artillery hotkey call now also works in minimal interface mode.
Fixes
Getting stuck when overcoming obstacles by soldiers with the perk to accelerate overcoming obstacles has been fixed.
Incorrect camera behavior when a soldier moves has been fixed. Now the camera will no longer move on the vertical axis when moving. In addition, at the beginning of movement and when stopping, there will be no unwanted camera/character jerks, interfering to aim.
The display of the enemy hit icon has been fixed.
The position of the bayonet attachment point to the AVS-36 rifle has been fixed.
Artifacts that occur when wounds are near each other have been fixed.
The firing mode when using mount will be reset if the mount is destroyed.
A bug that allowed in some cases to see-through deformable terrain has been fixed.
The system of damage by tank shells to tanks including high-explosive damage has been improved.
The absence or lack of damage to the internal modules of the tank when a chamber shell explodes has been fixed.
A bug with incorrect respawn in the bunker for allied troops in the “Ver-sur-Mer (Conquest)” mission has been fixed.
The disappearance of equipment when replacing a soldier from reserves in the active slot has been fixed.
A bug with capturing the “Fountain Court” capture point from recesses in the “Hermann Goering strasse (Invasion)” mission has been fixed.
Now you can not look through the snow in the lying position.

Following a few rather disastrous title updates for Returnal, Housemarque has today released the Returnal update 1.003.007 May 20 patch, and once again, this brings a new set of fixes. For those wondering, nope, this does not add a save option as well.

Cloudpunk is getting a sequel-sized DLC later this month called City of Ghosts. It’s a story that intertwines with the base game’s location of Nivalis and stars both the original protagonist. Rania and a brand new one. We’ll be exploring this stunning cyberpunk world as two characters for the first time. Getting two sides of a story that comes together in unexpected ways. This story is also set to be much darker than the base on. It’s going to explore avenues that we’ve never seen in the world before. That’s why I think it should open up the Aleara Casino.
If you’ve played Cloudpunk before, you could have missed this location very easily. It’s located in the Fulcrum Sector, next to the first point at which you meet The Falconer. Unfortunately, it’s just a closed-off building, like most of those found in the game. You don’t get to go inside and explore the potentially wonderful things that await you in this dystopian debt-focused cyberpunk future. But the DLC could change that.
What’s Inside the Casino?
By opening up the Aleara Casino, players could get a glimpse of how casinos have changed. In classic Cloudpunk fashion, everything would look just as you’d expect it to but have a twist that you never see coming. It could be that you enter into a pod and start taking part in betting in online casinos, but physical representations of them in a digital world. Maybe you’d even get to interact with other patrons and find out a bit more about the world of casinos in the context of Cloudpunk.
What I think would really suit the world is if you’re betting your body as soon as you enter the casino. It’s a twisted reality that would leave many without a body until they win at a table. This means that players are forced to keep betting until they finally win. Which always results in more money for the companies running the online casinos. It’s exactly what the world of Cloudpunk would have in terms of casinos.
For Cloudpunk – City of Ghosts, players could head into the Aleara Casino searching for one person in particular. Then, they’d have to start betting to get answers and potentially even lose their body. We’ve already seen that you can buy bodies and shells like the one for Rania’s dog. So there’s no question that this is possible within the game’s lore. This dark tale could see one protagonist rescue another, and it would be a great way for them to interact without ever actually knowing each other.
Minigames
Something that’s actually missing from Cloudpunk right now is minigames. Any sort of task that’s even vaguely outside of the scope of the main story is completely absent. While this is sort of the point with the base story, the sequel-sized DLC is adding in a huge chunk of content. I’d love it if all of that content was more of the same, but I can’t help but think that the experience would actually benefit from the addition of some minigames. I’m not talking about fishing or activities that take you way out of the game’s traditional scope, more those that fit in with the established world and the things players are doing.
That’s why heading into a casino and taking part in any sort of minigames there would fit perfectly. Even outside of the sections of the story that see you head into the Aleara, you could have the option to return and earn more money if you want to. The base game has hundreds of collectibles to soak up and sell so that you can buy all manner of trash for your apartment and HOVA. Make it possible to gamble for that money and streamline the process, adding some more risk and reward, and even showing players what happens when you incur too much debt.

Power Grab, a Limited-Time Mode
What if we dialed up the intensity of Warzone to true Hollywood extremes? In Power Grab, you must eliminate other Operators, complete Contracts, and loot Supply Boxes around Verdansk to find Dog Tags. By collecting Dog Tags, you will work your way up a reward ladder that will give you the edge you need to win, including the personal Respawn Token. You’ll have to use everything you’ve got to control the flag that spawns during the final circle – calling in an Exfil Helicopter. True to the BR experience, you can also choose to hunt every single other Operator until you‘re the last one standing. There are fewer and smaller circles. There are no loadouts. There is no Gulag. GAMEPLAY
Added the new Combat Bow Killstreak to the following Verdansk modes: core BR, Plunder, and Power Grab.
Stopping Power Field Upgrade spawn rates have been reduced substantially across all modes.
Given Stopping Power’s efficacy and lack of counter play options, we felt its power level was at odds with its availability. We want to create more scenarios where a measured choice about how and when to utilize Field Upgrades is not just rewarded but encouraged. There was hardly an incorrect way to apply Stopping Power—which we felt took away from the satisfaction of optimal or strategic use. Our hope by drastically reducing its presence within Warzone is that we introduce a small strategy-based control. Those who loot efficiently increase their odds of finding it.
We will also be making an important adjustment to the Solo BR modes in the very near future. Keep an eye out on Twitter for more. 👀
BUG FIXES
Fixed additional map locations in Verdansk that allowed players to reach out-of-bounds areas. This is on top of the locations that we addressed in the last 2 patches.
Fixed an issue that caused the Gas Mask to become unbreakable after a players’ first death with the Gas Mask equipped.
Fixed a bug that caused player Activision IDs to not always appear in the killcam or when spectating with or without the Option enabled.

ACCESSIBILITY

This menu provides a pared-down list of settings which are specifically oriented towards accessibility.
Players can access this menu from the main blades menu immediately upon launching the game. To do so, launch Warzone and select Accessibility from the button options at the bottom of your screen. Alternatively, players can access the Accessibility Options menu from the existing Options menu. To do so, open the Options menu and select Accessibility from the button options at the bottom of your screen.
Core to our philosophy is ensuring all players across a broad spectrum of ability and disability are able to play and enjoy our content. The addition of the Accessibility Options menu supports this vision by bringing more visibility to the available options while increasing ease-of-access. Built for stealth kills from multiple distances, this versatile Weapon allows for melee attacks up close and a projectile blade attack from short-to-medium ranges.

Expect this Weapon to output high amounts of damage in a short period of time thanks to its full-auto nature, which makes it highly effective in close quarters.

Neck multiplier increased from 1 to 1.4

The AK-74u’s stats were well beyond what one might expect from a Submachine Gun. We are reining it back in line with other Weapons in its class—less Bullet Velocity, less Damage Range, and more Sprint to Fire Speed. While some of these changes may make it seem like the AK-74u had received a drastic reduction in efficacy, we believe these stats are not as meaningful to the SMG class when compared to handling and Time to Kill. With unparalleled maximum damage, locational multipliers, and an unforgiving rate of fire, the AK-74u is now the epitome of high-risk, high-reward SMGs.
PPSh-41
Maximum damage increased from 27 to 28
Maximum damage range increased by 3.8%
We believe the PPSh-41 is on the brink of being able to contest some of the strongest Submachine Guns. This damage bump will undoubtedly have the PPSh-41 joining other high tier SMGs as a contender for that top spot.
Snipers
All Black Ops Cold War Sniper base optics have been adjusted.
Sniper Rifle Charlie (Semi-Auto)
Bullet Velocity increased by 14%
Extremity multipliers increased from .9 to 1

We have found that the Sniper Rifle Charlie feels much more satisfying to use as a heavier duty semi-auto Sniper. We will continue to push it in this direction until we strike a satisfactory balance between its identity and efficacy.
LW3 – Tundra
Aiming Stability increased
The LW3 – Tundra did not have much holding it back beyond its ADS Speed and Aiming Stability. With this change to its base Aiming Stability and the availability of ADS Speed Attachments, the LW3 – Tundra will most assuredly become an excellent, versatile option for those that prefer to keep their enemies at a distance.

Snipers like the Swiss K31 excel at aggressive, mid to long-range play. However, its poor Flinch Resistance overshadowed and played counter to some of its other great qualities. These changes in conjunction with the adjustments to Sniper Attachments will make Swiss K31 feel a lot more like the lightweight, fast-handling, high-skill Weapon it was meant to be.

The feel of a Weapon is important to us and the ZRG 20mm, while fun, was not quite where we wanted it. We are doubling down on its identity as the highest caliber Sniper in Verdansk. We want you to really feel like you are firing anti-materiel rounds. In order to achieve this, we made the Weapon ‘heavier’ and increased its Bullet Penetration. Now players on the receiving end of the ZRG 20mm will need to consider the width of objects that they use for cover. We find this gets both the wielder and their opponent to think about the game in different and interesting ways—which is something we always aim to promote.

Talk about some really exciting news, today Koch Media confirmed that a new TimeSplitters game is being prepared for development, with key original developers reforming Free Radical Design!
Koch Media confirmed today in a press release that they are reforming Free Radical Design (closed back in 2008), with original founders Steve Ellis and David Doak along with other key members to develop a whole new TimeSplitters.
“To finally be able to confirm that the studio has been formed and that we have a plan for the next TimeSplitters game is incredible,” commented Steve Ellis, Studio Development Director, Free Radical Design. “While we cannot tell you anything more at the moment, we look forward to sharing information in the future.”
No further details were given on the new TimeSplitters game, though as mentioned the project will be helmed by Free Radical.
“It’s this unique style that earned the TimeSplitters series a large and passionate following who will, without doubt, be excited by the formation of Deep Silver’s latest studio and will look forward to learning more as the franchise moves forward” said Paul Nicholls, Global Brand and Marketing Director, Deep Silver.
The team states that development will begin in the coming months, with the current focus on growing the studio out in Nottingham.

Psyonix Studios has released the latest Rocket League update 1.97 patch for today, and this is primarily for fixes! This is out on all platforms (PC, last-gen, and current-gen), and should be a small download.

Those who love playing Call of Duty: Warzone, here’s your chance to play it and get paid! Activision has announced the World Series of Warzone tournament, which will involve $300,000 custom lobby events!

Per the press release, Activision states that the World Series of Warzone will showcase four online Call of Duty: Warzone competitions with a $300,000 prize pool per event, which is the largest prize pool of any previous Warzone tourneys to date! The semi-invitational event will feature separate trios and duos-based compeitions for each of the NA and EU regions.
Activision says that fans can expect some of the biggest “Warzone stars, streamers, and community members” to be involved with the event!
One of Warner Bros. Games, DC Entertainment, and NetherRealm Studios most accomplished works is officially getting the DC Universe Movie treatment, as Injustice: Gods Among Us animated movie is officially in the works — bringing the alternate reality story of a world ruled by a tyrannical Superman who is opposed by Batman.
As reported by IGN, the reveal came when the title was included in the bonus features in DC Entertainment’s upcoming animated film adaptation — Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two. While Part One of that animated movie is still due next month, Part Two is already being promoted and the inclusion of Injustice in the press release is a welcomed sight to fans of the franchise.
Based on the 2013 fighting game developed by the makers of Mortal Kombat, Injustice: Gods Among Us tells the story of a DC Universe where Superman rules with an iron fist following the death of his wife Lois Lane at the hands of the Joker. Foregoing his principals, he kills the Clown Prince of Crime and sets to govern the world in his own way along with allies such as Wonder Woman and Black Adam. Batman opposes this and gathers what remaining heroes and villains he can to form an Insurgency that will combat Superman’s Regime. A sequel, Injustce 2, was released in 2017 and continued the story following Superman’s defeat.
While Injustice: Gods Among Us is an old game, its mobile version is still very much enjoyed and played.
Following yesterday’s release of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 3 Reloaded update, the Modern Warfare & Warzone update 1.37 preload patch is now live for PlayStation platforms, and this brings the Season 3 Reloaded content into the battle royale game!
Note that while the data is available for download now, the actual start of Season 3 Reloaded in Warzone isn’t happening just now, and will be commence officially tomorrow, on May 20.

Note that while Raven Software has not released the official list of changes in the patch just yet, Activision has revealed a huge list of new stuff incoming for the Season 3 Reloaded update, which can be seen below. There’s a new event featuring the 80’s Action Heroes crossover, new weapons, points of interests and more!
Later in Season Three Reloaded, the Secondary Weapon category receives two additional weapons: an automatic machine pistol and an old reliable melee weapon.
Baseball Bat: Melee (Launch Week)
A classic bruiser’s weapon of war, and Black Ops Cold War’s newest addition for one-hit melee fans, the Baseball Bat is what you want when the enemy has you in a pickle. Whether it’s against the undead hordes in Zombies or enemy Operators in Multiplayer, using the Baseball Bat could mean the difference between sitting on your squad’s bench or becoming its MVP.
Note: the Baseball Bat will enter the Warzone melee starting lineup during Season Four after its “spring training” in Black Ops Cold War during Season Three Reloaded’s launch week.
AMP63: Pistol (In-Season)
Slotting in as the fourth sidearm in Black Ops Cold War’s arsenal, this personal defense weapon is a cross between a self-loading pistol and a fully automatic SMG.
Expect this weapon to output high amounts of damage in a short period of time thanks to its full-auto nature, which makes it highly effective in close quarters.
Obtain the AMP63 and Baseball Bat during Season Three Reloaded in one of two ways: complete an in-game challenge to obtain the free base weapon or pick up a bundle with a Blueprint version when it appears in the Store.
’80s Action Heroes Event
Want to collect free player profile items, Weapon Charms and Stickers, a new Arcade Game, and even Weapon Blueprints? Then lock and load for the “’80s Action Heroes” in-game challenge event across Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
Similar to the “Hunt for Adler” and “Haunting of Verdansk” events, Operators will be tasked with completing objectives in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, receiving rewards that can be used across both titles, with the exception of the Robot Tank Arcade Game (available only in the Black Ops Cold War Barracks). These challenges are themed around the awesome new, limited-time content, and include objectives like completing matches in specific playlists or earning kills with the new Combat Bow Killstreak in Warzone.
Complete all nine Black Ops Cold War challenges to unlock a semi-automatic tactical rifle Weapon Blueprint and complete all nine of the Warzone challenges to get an awesome Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle Weapon Blueprint.
WARZONE CONTENT
Not only have the heroes of Die Hard and Rambo arrived in Verdansk, but they also brought some iconic locales with them, changing the Warzone as we know it…but only for a limited time.
New Points of Interest come to Verdansk
New Point of Interest: Nakatomi Plaza (Launch)
The headquarters of the Nakatomi Corporation have moved from sunny Los Angeles to Verdansk’s Downtown for a limited time. This is the tallest single structure seen in Warzone and includes five floors of a space that will be familiar to those who know and love the original Die Hard.
In addition to replacing the Broadcast Tower and surrounding blocks that normally define Downtown’s southern district, Nakatomi Plaza features multiple optional missions that can be completed during Battle Royale and Plunder for rewards both in-game and for your profile. This includes exploring the tower for Supply Boxes, defusing C4 on the tower’s roof, and interrupting an arms deal gone wrong.
If you and your squad are lucky enough, you may even be able to do what no international criminal has been able to pull off before: successfully crack the Nakatomi Plaza vault and escape with its riches. But be forewarned that you won’t be the only Operators looking for the keys to the vault…
New Point of Interest: Survival Camps (Launch)
Around Verdansk, numerous campsites have been converted into Survival Camps as a homage to Rambo: First Blood Part II.
Find any of these ten camps across the map, and you could walk out with some solid loadout items or the dog tags of comrades who fell long before your arrival. Collect enough of them, and you may be able to get an even greater reward…
New Point of Interest: CIA Outpost (Launch)
One of the aircraft hangars in Verdansk’s northwest sector has been converted into a makeshift CIA Outpost, as these agents need a home base to start tracking down the elusive Rambo.
Apparently, these field operatives are also searching for any identification of fallen soldiers and may bring in some air reinforcements should enough of them be collected for extraction. Maybe this can be used to stage an ambush that only a true guerilla warfare expert could handle…
Be the Action Hero in Power Grab, a Limited-Time Mode (Launch)
Battle Royales were already intense, action movie–worthy matches within Warzone, but what if the intensity was dialed up to true Hollywood extremes? You would get Power Grab, a Limited-Time Mode that pits over 100 Operators across select squad sizes in a battle for true badass protagonist supremacy.
In Power Grab, Operators will find that the starting circle collapse is smaller than in a traditional Battle Royale in Verdansk. This circle collapse will have five stages and there is no Gulag to escape from upon death.
Instead, you must either revive your squadmates via the Buy Station or earn the right to revive them by collecting Dog Tags. Similar to Kill Confirmed in traditional Multiplayer, every Operator will drop a Dog Tag each time they are eliminated. These Dog Tags can also be found as rewards for completing Contracts, and in rare cases, they can be found in Supply Boxes around Verdansk.
Each Dog Tag collected brings you one notch up a reward ladder, which is visible on the right side of your HUD. This reward ladder includes a UAV; a Respawn Token, which gives you the right to infil into Verdansk again; and Advanced Gas Masks and Specialist Bonuses, at higher tiers.
Despite these differences compared to a traditional Battle Royale, the endgame is the same: Be the last squad standing to win.

The first expansion of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids was released on May 13, which brought more content to an already large game. The visuals and storyline are to behold to add to the trademark appeal and diverse script of the Assassin’s Creed Franchise. It is a wonder how the developers, artists, and designers worked on this first of a two-part series pack.
Today, fans of the game and the franchise as a whole can watch a behind-the-scenes look into the making of Wrath of the Druids as those involved with the development narrate their design thinking processes and the reasons for their storytelling approaches.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released last year as the most recent entry to the franchise. Wrath of the Druids will be followed by The Siege of Paris, to be released in the coming Summer of 2021.
