Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Review – Kingdom Under Fire

It’s shocking to know that eight years have passed since the original release of Kingdoms of Amalur. While it didn’t have much of a commercial success back then, it was perhaps one of the most surprising hidden gems to come out of that generation of console. With news of THQ Nordic re-releasing it in a newly remastered format, I couldn’t help myself but want to re-experience the title once more, on some beefier systems. Did this remaster improve on the game’s past hiccups? Read on for our Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning review.

A Lengthy Tale to Satisfy That RPG Thirst

In Kingdoms of Amalur you follow the journey of the “Fateless One.” Prior to the start of the adventure, you are deceased. When you start the game you awaken on a pile of corpses, revived by a device called the Well of Souls, created by a gnomish scientist called Fomorous Hugues. The ability of your character to withstand death and charter your fate is the centerpiece to the adventure, as you investigate the circumstances related to your death, against a backdrop of warring factions and political intrigue.

The main story arch will take somewhere between 20 to 30 hours depending on your playstyle. With that being said, this game is filled with a ton of different side-quests, areas, and world-building that puts the total playtime over 100+ hours. A lot of these quests are pretty standard within the RPG genre, but because of the combat and some nice winkles of variation in quest design, they don’t feel like a chore to complete. There’s also several side-quests that have their own story that are worth completing, and have some great narrative moments.

A Coat Too Thin

The most disappointing aspect of this remaster is the graphics. While there is a difference in the visual fidelity you would be hard pressed to notice it at first glance. This also carries over into other areas like animation. The lip-syncing is terrible, and didn’t get any enhancements, which it could have used desperately in this remaster.

As a whole the art style is solid, but not particularly note-worthy. Part of that is that while there’s some interesting things peppered throughout this adventure, the high-fantasy theme has already been explored in a lot of different variations, across several forms of media. When you see something cool, you’re almost immediately pulled back into a narrative rule-set that plays this theme in a particularly safe manner. From my perspective the tone feels similar to that of the Fable series. If you’ve enjoyed those games in the past, you’ll find a lot to like within Kingdoms of Amalur.

Where Kingdoms of Amalur excels is its fluid, free-form combat and excellent reward curve. Being able to swap between different weapons on the fly is a joy, and there’s great synergy between different weapon types like swords, daggers, staves, and more.

Gameplay With High Rewards

There are three skill trees that you place skill points into: Might, Finesse, or Sorcery. It’s important to note that your role isn’t fixed. You’ll be able to mix and match between each of the three types, leading to some interesting build variations. Do you want to charge into battle with a great sword and deal some massive damage before switching to some sorcery attacks from distance?

The game doesn’t just support these choices well, but they actively encourage them depending on the ratio in which you distribute your skill points. This open-ended class system allows the combat to stay mostly fresh over the 100+ hour adventure, and encourages a lot of experimentation for the player. Once players have invested enough points they can unlock destiny cards that allow them to obtain additional bonuses for their build. The most obvious weakness to the combat is the enemy variety, which just isn’t quite sufficiently stretched out across an adventure of this size.

Combine that with a great variation of loot, both of weapons and armor, and there’s a very satisfying reward curve in the game. You won’t go long before acquiring additional skill points, obtaining new gear, or exploring new areas. This is one of the areas that a lot of RPG’s don’t get right, but Kingdoms of Amalur seemed to solve these issues well back in 2012.

Great for New Players, Not So Much for the Old Ones

If you previously played Kingdoms of Amalur there aren’t a lot of reasons to revisit the title. The visual improvements are noticeable, but come across as a thin fresh coat of paint that doesn’t require an additional playthrough.

Strangely enough, this port doesn’t address a lot of the issues that were present in the original. Lengthy load times, pop-in, and dips in framerate are quite noticeable, and shouldn’t be an issue in a remastered version of any game. This leads to a feeling that this “remaster” didn’t have a lot of effort put into it, which is a shame, since the core of Kingdoms of Amalur is quite good, and still has a ton of potential to be a great franchise.

As a whole if you haven’t explored the world of Kingdoms of Amalur, this remaster is a solid introduction to the franchise. While this remaster won’t give players who have already explored the world enough reasons to jump back in, it’s still a good game, particularly if you’re looking for an RPG to sink your teeth into. Combine that with the DLC, the Legend of Ded Kel, and Teeth of Narros, included in this package, and you have an excellent value proposition, even if the experience can be uneven at times.

SCORE: 7/10

Pros:

  • Excellent Free-Flowing Combat
  • A large variety of interesting loot
  • Fantastic reward curve and character development options
  • Over 100+ hours of content
  • A lot of effort into the worldbuilding despite the theme

Cons:

  • Graphics are dated
  • Lip-syncing and animation are woefully neglected in the remaster
  • The theme is generic
  • Technical issues like prolonged loading times, clipping, pop-in and framerate dips hurt the experience and immersion
  • For console players, the menus can be a bit tough to navigate

PS5 Fan Noise Is Quiet According to Hands-On Impressions

One of the biggest questions that gamers have been wondering since the PS5 announcement is how quiet is the PS5? Well, apparently very as the PS5 fan noise has been described as surprisingly quiet even if the console itself is huge.

This is all according to Dengeki Online, who posted their hands-on impression of the PS5 this morning. Having played with the console a little over and hour and a half, a big question they had (and many of us) was whether or not the PS5 heat management would be a concern. According to their preview, it wasn’t as the console didn’t feel like it was producing a lot of heat after playing titles such as Godfall and Astrobots. They described being surprised by the PS5 fan noise as it was “really quiet”.

In another preview published by AV Watch, an editor noted that he had to put his ears against the PS5 to even notice if there was any kind of fan noise coming out of it.

“I didn’t really focus on “fan sound only” in a strict environment. However, the editor-in-chief of this magazine, who accompanied me for shooting this time, also commented, “Even if you put your ears close to the back of the body, it only sounds like’Oh, fans are turning around’.” Therefore, subjectively, the impression that “it has become much quieter” is not a mistake.”

According to 4Gamer, the closed environment that they were invited to operated at  30°C/85° F, which is warmer than most average playing environments. They too stated, that despite the console being at assumingly a higher temperature, the fan noise was hardly heard.

While not every user experienced this, the PS4 fans were extremely loud for some, even during some non-demanding titles. A big annoyance for many as they would need to turn their sets up in order to try and drown out the fan noise. This issue was mostly seen in consoles that had a bad application of the thermal paste, with may reporting their fan issue being resolved after removing and reapplying it on their consoles.

Of course with this being in a closed environment, we can’t be certain that these consoles will function the same once they have been massed produced and distributed to the public. Still, these early impressions are a good sign of what is hopefully to come.

PS5 Confirm Button Will Be X Instead of O for Asia

For those looking forward to more PS5 info, Sony has lifted the embargo on Japanese content creators’ time with the console, and bits of news are making its way out. One of the details that have been revealed is how the PS5 confirm button has been changed for Asia!

In case you didn’t know, the “confirm” button for PlayStation games in Asia is O instead of X as is the case with US and EU. Well, it seems that for the PS5, Sony is uniting things. This new report comes Japanese website Watch Impress. Here’s the exact quote via Google translate:

Traditionally, the “right” of the four buttons on the right side has played a decisive role in Japanese game consoles such as the PlayStation. “A” for Nintendo and “◯” for Playstation.

However, in Europe and the United States, the “down” of the four buttons is often used for determination. It is “A” on Xbox and “x” on PlayStation in Europe and the United States. This setting is the mainstream for PCs, following the Western style. The reason why “x” is decided on PlayStation in Europe and the United States is that there is a cultural background that recognizes it as a “check mark” instead of a “x”.

Due to such circumstances, in the past PlayStation, it was often separated from the “◯” decision for Japanese games and the “x” decision for Western games. You can switch between them in the system settings, but not all games follow, and playing the game on a PC or Xbox was confusing and confusing.

This time, in SIE, “x” will be decided in all settings including Japanese games. It can be seen that this is suitable for Europe and the United States, but it has a strong meaning of “to avoid changing the buttons used between the system and the game in an environment where games from multiple countries are played. (SIE public relations) That’s right.

While this might not mean much to gamers in the west, this is a semi big deal for those used to pressing O to confirm in games or even in the console’s menus. That said, based on experience, it’s an easy transition and will likely be something not noticed by gamers after a few weeks.

In other PS5 news, Randy Pitchford, Gearbox CEO, says the next-gen from this gen to the next is the biggest one he’s ever seen.

Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford Says Next-Gen Leap Is the Biggest in History That He’s Seen

CEO of Gearbox, Randy Pitchford has some big praise for the upcoming next-gen consoles as he compares the leap in technology to be even bigger than the jump from 2D to 3D.

Speaking to GameSpot in a recent Borderlands 3 retrospective interview, Pitchford, while stating it would be hard to see this with the initial onslaught of launch titles, had this to say concerning the next generation consoles (PS5, Xbox Series):

“I always get so pumped when there’s an ability to take a step forward with new hardware and new technology, and anything that’s going to empower us,” Pitchford said. “I think customers will realize how profound of a difference it is to have the throughput capability that these new platforms bring. It’s just absolutely unreal. The leap there with PS5 and Xbox Series X is the biggest leap I have ever seen in the history of console generations. I’m saying, including the leap from 2D to 3D. It’s going to change the way we think about every bit of our experiences.”

In general, plenty of developers have already spoken highly of both next-gen consoles, with a common excitement being the super fast SSD they both launch with.

And while we have already seen some impressive titles that will be launching within the first year of both platforms, the is no question of the doubt that titles released in a few years from now will be taking better advantage of both consoles. So perhaps Pitchford statement of not being able to see this difference may be true, though only time will tell.

Both the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles are launching this November.

EA Begins Teasing New Need for Speed Game Announcement, Countdown Site Live

With EA releasing Need for Speed Heat in 2019, racing fans might be wondering what’s next for the franchise. A new Need for Speed game announcement is looming, as EA has started teasing something on social media, and even has a new site for it that’s live now complete with a countdown!

Over on Twitter, the official Need for Speed account has started tweeting images of cars and police vehicles presumably in a chase (game featured is NFS Heat).

As you can see, there are a lot of 510’s shown; from the car’s plate number, to the pizza delivery number and more. Well, the 510’s stand for October 5, which is an easy code to break.

On EA’s official site, a new Need for Speed countdown has been posted, with the timer ending on October 5!

The official Need for Speed Twitter has updated its cover photo to show #Beat510, along with more teases!

The last Need for Speed game was Need for Speed Heat which was released last year and was developed by Criterion. Earlier this year, Criterion announced that they were working on a new Need for Speed game though no details were shared.

Will we see this racing game zoom out this year? Chances are this will be released for current-gen and next-gen platforms, which means we’ll see a major visual upgrade.

Once we know more details about it, we’ll let our readers know.

Speaking of Need for Speed, this October’s PS Plus free games include a Need for Speed title, and that’s NFS Payback!

Baldur’s Gate 3 Races and Classes for Early Access Revealed

Curious what races and classes you’ll be able to play as in Baldur’s Gate 3 when it launches in early access next week? Wonder no more as Larian Studios has today rvealed the Baldur’s Gate 3 races and classes available in early access in a new press release.

Available Baldur’s Gate 3 Races and Classes for Early Access

At launch, players will be able to create humans, githyanki, elves, drow, half-elf, dwarves, halflings, and tieflings, including subraces of each race.

Human

The most common face to see in Faerûn, humans are known for their tenacity, creativity and endless capacity for growth. They live fully in the present — making them well-suited to the adventuring life — but also plan for the future, striving to leave a lasting legacy.

Githyanki

Githyanki are peerless warriors from the Astral Plane, known for their legendary silver blades and red dragon mounts. They seek the total destruction of mind flayers, whose ancient empire enslaved the githyanki for millennia.

Elf

  • High Elf: Heirs of the mystical Feywild, high elves value magic in all its forms. Even those who do not study spellcraft can manipulate the Weave.
  • Wood Elf: Wood elves spend their reclusive lives in Faerûn’s forests. Decades of training in archery and camouflage are enhanced by an otherworldly swiftness.

Drow

  • Seldarine Drow: Drow are the result of an ancient schism between the elven deities Corellon Larethian and Lolth. The latter’s treachery drove the drow into the Underdark, where they splintered into warring factions. Seldarine drow can be found seeking allies from all over Faerûn, aiming to settle their conflict with Lolth — and each other — by any means necessary.
  • Lolth-Sworn Drow: Raised by Lolth’s cult in the city of Menzoberranzan, these drow extol the virtues of their corrupt and merciless goddess. Lolth marks her followers with bright red eyes so the Underdark will learn to fear drow on sight.

Half-Elf

  • High Half-Elf: A touch of the Feywild remains in half-elves with this bloodline. Even those untrained in magic possess a hint of wild power.
  • Wood Half-Elf: Like their wood elf parents, these half-elves have a quickened stride and eye for stealth. Yet many break away from isolation in Faerûn’s forests to explore the rest of the Realms.
  • Drow Half-Elf: Most half-drow result from liaisons between Seldarine drow and surfacers. While half-drow inherit a few magical gifts, they aren’t usually raised in the Underdark.

Dwarf

  • Gold: Gold dwarves are known for their confidence and keen intuition. The culture of their Deep Kingdom values family, ritual and fine craftsmanship.
  • Shield: Shield dwarves survived a long fall from grace, surrendering many of their ancient kingdoms in wars with goblins and orcs. These losses have led to a cynical mindset, yet shield dwarves will endure anything to restore their ancestral homelands.

Hafling

  • Lightfoot Halfling: Lightfoot halflings are stealthy but social, travelling all over Faeûn to make names for themselves.
  • Strongheart Halfling: Legends say dwarven blood gave stronghearts their hardiness. Resistant to poison and wellsprings of endurance, these halflings easily hold their own.

Tiefling

  • Asmodeus Tiefling: Bound to Nessus, the deepest layer of the Hells, these tieflings inherit the ability to wield fire and darkness from the archdevil Asmodeus’ infernal bloodline.
  • Mephistopheles Tiefling: Descended from the archdevil Mephistopheles, these tieflings are gifted with a particular affinity for arcane magic.
  • Zariel Tiefling: Tieflings from Zariel’s bloodline are empowered with martial strength and can channel searing flame to punish their enemies.

The Sword Coast attracts adventurers from across all of Faerûn. The nearly 600 NPCs you can meet in Act 1 are drawn from across the Forgotten Realms. Character creation includes hundreds of options to ensure that each character is unique, and the world reacts to you in ways that help ensure you and your choices are unique, too.

In the early access build, players will have six classes to choose from: Cleric, Fighter, Ranger, Rogue, Warlock and Wizard. What’s more, these classes will have “at least” two subclasses available as well.

Larian Studios adds that there’s over 25 hours of content in the early access version and it’s designed for multiple playthroughs for players that want to play solo, or in multiplayer (up to four players).

Baldur’s Gate 3 early access will be out on October 6 on PC, and here’s a look at how romance works in the game.

Battlefield 3 Reality Mod Release Trailer Gives a Taste of What’s Coming

If you’ve played Battlefield 2 on PC back then, chances are you’ve heard of the “Project Reality” mod. If you missed it, the Battlefield community has been busy tinkering with the Battlefield 3 Reality Mod, and as one might expect, it’s heavily inspired by Project Reality.

Check out the release trailer for the mod, which is set for release sometime later this year!

BF3: Reality Mod is a BF3 modification that focuses on communication and teamwork. It draws inspiration from the successful BF2 “Project Reality” mod. It offers a complete gameplay and UI overhaul that creates a more tactical and meaningful experience.

Note that in order to play this mod on PC, players will need to own the base game and all its DLC. It will work with both the Steam and Origin versions of Battlefield 3. If you’re curious to know more, head on over to the project’s Discord channel or check out the mod page.

The Reality Mod is built using the Venice Unleashed mod tool which we’ve reported on yesterday.

Given we don’t have a new Battlefield game to look forward to just yet, I think it’s fantastic that the community has taken it upon themselves to craft their own take on DICE’s shooter. And if you’re going to choose a Battlefield game to mod, Battlefield 3 is a very solid choice.

Wasteland 3 Review – Stroll Down Danger Avenue

We venture off in the post-apocalypse wasteland of Colorado, fighting off against raiders, cannibals, and all kinds of terrifying nightmares in Wasteland 3. If you’re looking for a new RPG to sink your teeth into, is Wasteland 3 worth the time sink? Read on for our Wasteland 3 review now!

Choices With Gut Wrenching Outcomes

It’s really hard to talk about Wasteland 3 without spoiling anything. Much like it’s predecessors, Wasteland 3 is packed to the brim with decisions that are all often questionable in their morality. This isn’t a game that spells things out, as while you may believe what you do is the right thing, the ugly truth of it all ends up unraveling itself in some of the most heartfelt moments throughout the campaign. Continuing with it’s bizarre, crude humor of storytelling, Wasteland 3 ensures that within minutes of starting that players are already making some harsh decisions.

Usually, when I play a game so heavily focused on choices, I let things play out till the very end and then replay the game. However, I have come to the realization that a ton of these big blockbuster RPGs only have their choices really affect how the game ends. usually selecting different dialogue always yields the same kind of response from the NPCs, so for Wasteland 3 I did something a bit different. I decided that I would save scum, go back and select different choices, even in tiny moments. To my surprise a majority of dialogue tree, while leading to the same outcome, portrayed a different experience.

An example I’ll give is the very first choice when you encounter a fellow ranger who is on their last breath of life. Being that I typically love opting to be the good guy in games, I leaned towards the option of trying to save their life, but sadly was presented with more options as it became clear that this poor soul would not make it. Now I had a true decision to make, I could either end them, walk away and hear them cry, or stay with them until the end. I choice the latter, and the delivering for such a character who is only with you for a few minutes was truly a spectacle to see. Curious to see what my other options were, I reverted back to my save from before to see how things would play out next. I should note that there were other decisions prior to the one attempting to save the person, and this here is where some of that crude humor comes into play.

One of the option for players was to literally be an over-the-top die-hard, never give up cartoon soldier that we see in films. You know, the one that takes everything too seriously. This option was to tell this dying person that Rangers don’t give up and continue fighting with the proceeding action of forcing them to stand back up. Well, things quickly took a turn as the moment I selected that action the NPCs guts started spewing all over the floor. Horror quickly filled their face. I know I shouldn’t smile at this kind of thing, but to me just the fact that there is a outcome that leads to this just tells me how much care, and cleverness went into the writing. These kinds of choices exists throughout the entire campaign, and after I had finished my first 50+ hour run, I was dead set on redoing the whole thing over again just to see how differently things would turn out. To say the least, I wasn’t disappointed.

There’s a great deal of care put into the writing of Wasteland 3, which shouldn’t be a surprise considering the previous two were rich in it in a similar fashion. The crudeness behind some of the humor and bizarre situations that the the game steer towards is such a wonderful thing to watch unfold. It has everything a RPG fan could ever want.

Revival of Turn-Based

I grew up with both Nintendo and PlayStation. Started with the NES and eventually made it to the PS1. Lots of fond memories of Mario, Megaman, Crash Bandicoot, basically the whole classic of IPs people to this day still clamore over. And yet, despite a majority of those IPs still flourishing to this day, one thing that I have constantly have had an itch for is a good ole classic turn-based game.  Games such as Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy were my jam back then, and yet despite being highly popular, both these series have seemingly faded away or in the least are no longer true to their original roots. The genre just isn’t seen as big anymore by developers, which is a shame because that style of gameplay still has much left in it, and Wasteland 3 proves just that.

At its core, Wasteland 3 is a turned-based game. Each character in your party has action points that get consumed for every move they make. Like any turn-based combat, the flow is you get a turn and then the enemy gets a turn. Pretty basic stuff, however it’s the tactical aspect and the way inventory all plays into the grand scheme of things that truly makes this one special experience.

Building off from the previous titles, Wasteland 3 features much denser environments that allows more strategic planning. Playing from a top-down RTS-like view, you can control each character movements at the cost of action points. Hide behind cover, sneak around enemies, or go all out, the choice is yours to make and there’s plenty of it. But not all choices are equal, and while this has the marking of classic turn-based combat, this is after all set in a wasteland. Meaning that there are rules to survival that still need to be followed, Do you shoot this enemy and waste ammunition? Was it wise to kill all these NPCs? What about letting that one go earlier? Can you talk your way out of this fight? Or how about hacking electronics to avoid them or gain an advantage? There’s plenty of ways the players can tackle situations, making this one jammed packed filled package in replayability.

Dealing With the Scars of War

While Wasteland 3 is easily becoming my favorite game this year with every playthrough I’ve gone through, it does go without saying that there are some heavy technical falters that are sadly holding it back. A few performance patches have been issued on all platforms the title is available on, but for the version we played (PS4) theses performance patches only helped a bit. FPS would constantly dip, even during normal non action traveling with firefights only worsening it.

The big draw for us, the co-operative play, seemed to have even more issues that the solo campaign as players would get stuck inside of loading, with some quests breaking entirely, causing us to revert to an earlier save state. Crashes were pretty frequent pre-patch, though while still occuring, seems to be much better. We learned to manually save as frequently as possible as the loss of progression with the auto save sticking us in a broken section was all too frustrating to deal with. Thankfully a majority of these issues are on high priority for fixing, so hopefully this is something gets all gets resolved real soon. The devs have been pretty quick in terms of deploying improvements and on the PS4 side of things it is definitely noticeable.

Wasteland Adventure Awaits

Wasteland 3 is easily one of the best titles to come out this year, especially for turned-based tactical RPG fans looking to scratch that long time itch. It certainly has some technical issues that are holding it back, but once you look past those and see the game for what it truly is, then you can’t help but fall in love with it. The writing is dark, clever and funny, filled with intrical decision making that’ll have you wanting to come back again and again. Wasteland 3 is the kind of sequel that fans of the series have been waiting for.

SCORE: 8.5/10

Pros

  • Excellent writing that is clever and funny.
  • Diverse environments and enemies.
  • Deep dialogue tree with game changing decisions.
  • Classic turn-based gameplay mixed with tactical elements.

Cons

  • Lots of technical issues on PS4 that can be frustrating.
  • Lack of mission locations when viewing the map can be a bit confusing in where to go.
  • For console players, the menus can be a bit tough to navigate

PlanetSide 2 The Shattered Warpgate Is Now Available on PC, Out on PS4 Later This Month

Revealed a little over a month back, PlanetSide 2 The Shattered Warpgate has officially launched on PC, bringing with it some of PlanetSide 2’s biggest changed yet.

PlanetSide 2 players are in for one massive treat with the Shattered Warpgate update as it introduces a new lore-driven mission system that’ll expand across multiple campaigns. The first of these campaign driven stories is known as “The Shattered Warpgate,” which will see players return to a newly remastered continent, Esamir, a frozen harsh tundra now bolstering a powerful energy storm surging with deadly bolts of lighting.

“Unlike in a traditional single-player adventure, the term ‘Campaign’ in our game alludes to the compelling military nature of PlanetSide 2,” said Michael Henderson, Lead Designer. “Our players are soldiers embattled in an endless planetary war, and each of our Campaigns will develop the story of how the war and the world around them is evolving.”

To help guide players through the launch of The Shattered Warpgate, Rogue Planet Games have also published a detailed launch day, which goes into details of some of the new features (major ones below). You can read their launch day guide here

Major features added in the PlanetSide 2 Shattered Warpgate update:

  • Esamir Revamped: The continent of Esamir has gone through a major transformation, including reworked bases and facilities, new alien flora and skybox improvements, and a deadly electrical storm roaming the battlefield.

  • All-New Mission System: Players now have access to a wide range of daily mission types that can be completed for rewards. Members will receive additional daily mission unlocks.

  • New Weapons & Equipment: New items like the Icepick melee weapon, Havoc Rockets, and Condensate Grenades are now available as Campaign rewards or purchasable from the in-game Depot.

  • Sanctuary Changes: Social hub improvements include graphical upgrades and the addition of cross-faction text chat.

  • Outfit Resource Rebalancing: War Asset costs have been overhauled to better reward and incentivize Outfits who participate in base captures.

  • Indar Terrain Changes: Key locations on the continent of Indar have been reworked to improve the overall balance and combat flow on the map.

These are just some of the big highlights of changes introduced in The Shattered Warpgate, and if you are interested in reading the full changelog, be sure to head on over to the official PlanetSide 2 forums

As for PlanetSide 2 players on the PS4, you shouldn’t have to wait too long as the update is scheduled to release later this month. We’ll be sure to keep you posted as to when it gets released, along with the full patch notes that may include additional changes.

PlanetSide 2 is free-to-play and available on both the PC and PS4.

There’s also going to be a VU modding competition happening soon, which you can read about here.

Speaking of Battlefield 3, head on over here to see where we put the game in our Best Multiplayer Shooters of the Decade feature! We also ranked the Battlefield games this past decade, and yes, BF3 rated highly in that as well.

While there’s no new Battlefield set for release or announced just yet, hopefully what we get next will be closer to BF3 than to BFV.
