Sifu Character Aging Mechanic – Here’s a Look From Age 20 to 75

In case you haven’t been tabs on some of the new games coming out early next year, Sloclap has a new brawler coming out in Sifu. What makes Sifu stand out aside from its combat is the Sifu character aging mechanic. Basically, when your character dies, you get older. Curious how your character looks? You don’t need to wonder, as we’ve captured video of it via our preview session.

Sifu Character Aging Mechanic in Motion (Gameplay):

We also posted a screenshot whipped up by our own James Lara:

Outside of the aging mechanic, the game’s combat feels great based on our early hands-on time with the game. You can check out our full hands-on impressions preview right here to see what we thought of the entire experience so far.

Sifu will be released this February 8, 2022 on the PS4, PS5 and PC. For those looking for a physical version to own, Sloclap confirmed to us that that’s in the cards for sometime in 2022.

Splinter Cell Remake in Development at Ubisoft Toronto

Its been long rumored, but the official announcement is finally here! That’s right, Splinter Cell is back, as Ubisoft confirmed today that their Toronto studio will be heading the Splinter Cell remake.

Announced in a developer interview, the next Splinter Cell game will be none other than a remake and be developed on the Snow Drop Engine, the current engine that The Division and its sequel run off. In the lengthy interview, Technical Producer Peter Handrinos had this to say to fans:

A lot of time has passed since the original Splinter Cell, and even since the last sequel – enough time to miss an entire console generation. So now we’re going to take the time to explore what this means for us, for light and shadow, for animation tech, for gameplay, AI, even audio. We’re going to ask ourselves, “where does it make sense for us to innovate? What not only fits with the legacy, but brings the game up to a level that will be expected of us, and where can we surprise our players?” We want to bring them something new, yet still connect them to that feeling that they had two decades ago, playing that masterpiece for the first time.

Producer Matt West also added to this, while confirming that the remake will not be featuring an open world.

To me, a remake takes what you’d do in a remaster and goes a little bit further with it. The original Splinter Cell has a lot that was amazing and revolutionary at the time it came out, 19 years ago. The gaming public now has an even more refined palate. So, I think it kind of has to be a remake as opposed to a remaster. Although we’re still in the very earliest stages of development, what we’re trying to do is make sure the spirit of the early games remains intact, in all of the ways that gave early Splinter Cell its identity. So, as we’re building it from the ground up, we’re going to update it visually, as well as some of the design elements to match player comfort and expectations, and we are going to keep it linear like the original games, not make it open world. How do we make sure that new fans are able to pick up the controller and dive right in, and fall in love with the game and the world right from the get-go?

And while no first look into what this Remake would look like was given, Ubisoft did publish a new video around the announcement, which focuses on looking back at the original 2002 game. You can have a watch down below.

Splinter Cell Remake Announcement Video:

There is currently no release date set for the Splinter Cell Remake, though we do expect to hear plenty more of it sometimes later next year. Once we know more, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

Warframe Update 2.06 Out for Update 31 The New War This Dec. 15

Digital Extremes has rolled out the massive The New War update for Warframe today! The Warframe update 2.06 (1.014 on PS5) patch is available for all platforms this December 15, and not only does it deliver on a lot of gameplay adjustments, but there’s a lot of stuff to dive in too! Note that players will download Warframe update 2.05 and then download this next title update! This is explained by Digital Extremes below.

The complete patch notes are listed below (which include the hidden changes), as well as a note from the developers on the title update’s narrative.

IMPORTANT: As announced here, there are two separate patches in order for us to fully release the update. We have deployed the first patch, and are awaiting its successful release before deploying the second. Due to this, there may be some downtime between launches. You will most likely see a version mismatch error while this process takes place, and will be asked to “get the latest” – which essentially just means that your system is awaiting the second deploy. We will keep you updated as we go along!

Warframe Update 2.06 Patch Notes | Warframe Update 1.014 Patch Notes | Warframe Update 31 The New War Patch Notes:

Size: The New War is ~7.5 GB on PS4 and ~7.9 GB on PS5 (size variations are to be expected based on the ways in which the different systems operate), The New War is ~6.6 GB on XBOX One and XBOX Series X (size variations are to be expected based on the ways in which the different systems operate).

NEW QUEST – THE NEW WAR

We are seasons, all of us.

Growing in the light, fading in the dark.

At once the same, yet… ever changed.

Prepare yourself, Tenno. The New War is here and no one is safe. Old enemies have returned to the Origin System… will the factions unite against Ballas, Erra, and the advancing Sentients, or will they buckle under the weight of a full-scale invasion?

Players can prepare for The New War quest in the following ways:

Prerequisites

  • Have “Prelude to War” complete
    • We have renamed the former “The New War’ Codex section to “Prelude to War”, players must have this complete to participate in The New War Quest.
  • Own a Necramech
    • Necramechs can be earned by playing Deimos content or bought in the Market for Platinum.
  • Own a Railjack
    • A Railjack can be earned by completing the Rising Tide quest or bought in the Market for Platinum.

The New War will take several hours to complete and will prevent normal Warframe activities from taking place for the duration of the quest. Plan accordingly!

Access to your loadouts will be limited. We encourage you to not only prep your Warframe, Necramech, Operator and Railjack Loadouts but also your Fashion Frame. And as always: CRANK THAT AUDIO!!

You may notice your Operator sounds a bit different while playing The New War Quest. We hope you enjoy the updated Operator voices. Pre and Post-New War Operator voices will be the familiar ones you’re accustomed to.

Additionally, a new Accessibility setting has been added titled ‘Hold Button for Struggle Action’. This allows you to choose either ‘Hold’ or ‘Tap’ when confronted with a struggle context action, where typically mashing of a button would be requested. We recommend that you put this setting to your preference before initiating The New War Quest to ensure you have the best experience. Players can turn this on in the Controls options menu at any time in the quest, just above the Archwing section.

A significant amount of effort has gone into leveraging new graphics technologies for the levels seen in The New War. The Playstation 5 already uses this setting.

***You cannot Replay The New War Quest once it has been completed in this Update. It is a potential 2022 addition. Take your time and we hope you enjoy it!

NOTE: There are 5 New Weapons Available after The New War. We will not be denoting them here for spoilers, but seek them out once you’ve done the Quest! Additionally, some Booster top-ups occur at the end of The New War.

NEW WARFRAME – CALIBAN
This is Caliban, the survivor, the adaptor, and heir to the twin kingdoms of biological and Sentient life. Free him from the aberrant path he was consigned to by his creator: Erra.

*Caliban’s base Blueprint can be found in the Market with his Component Blueprints acquired via new Bounty missions unlocked after the completion of the New War Quest. Caliban’s Prex Card can also be found after completion of The New War Quest at a new location.

  Hide contents

Caliban Component Blueprints can be acquired from Narmer Bounties during daylight hours on the Plains of Eidolon, and Orb Vallis during the Night cycle (Night in Cetus means the Bounty is available in Orb Vallis). Narmer Bounties become available after completing The New War quest.

(PASSIVE) ADAPTIVE ARMOR
Allies within Affinity range gain up to 50% resistance to the types of damage they are currently taking.

  • Note that this does not stack additively with the Adaptation mod

RAZOR GYRE
Become a spinning vortex of death. Hold the Attack button (left mouse default) to accelerate the maelstrom, increasing damage or target an enemy by tapping the Attack button (left mouse default) to dash toward them. Hitting enemies inflicted with Sentient Wrath creates a destructive blast.
SENTIENT WRATH
Smash the ground sending out a radial wave of destruction. Those not killed by the initial blast are helplessly lifted into the air, where they take amplified damage for a short time.

*Sentient Wrath is Caliban’s Helminth Subsume ability.

LETHAL PROGENY
Call on Caliban’s Sentient aspect to produce up to three Conculyst comrades to fight by his side, and repair his shields.

FUSION STRIKE
Converge three streams of raw energy upon a single point, causing a massive reactive blast. The fallout from the blast will strip the armor and shields from all enemies that touch it.

**Don’t miss Caliban’s Noble & Agile Animations! Featuring our first male-presenting Warframe with a floating animation!

VENATO
Caliban’s signature scythe, forged from a limb wrenched off a fallen Eidolon centuries ago. 50% increased Melee Combo Counter Chance when wielded by Caliban.

NEUROVYRE SYANDANA
A Sentient spinal symbiote that functions as Caliban’s signature Syandana.

SPORAVYRE SUGATRA
A docile Sentient entity that can be used as a weapon decoration.

CALIBAN CRANION HELMET
A fearsome alternative helmet to give Caliban a look he has not worn since the Old War.

POST-NEW WAR VAGUE SPOILERS: Review after completing Quest.

Spoiler
  • A new Resource, New Set Mods, a new Amp, and Weapon Blueprints are available in Bounties to those who have completed The New War Quest. This new Resource can also be redeemed for Standing where applicable.
  • As noted already, Caliban’s Component Blueprints are also available in these Bounties.
  • Once you have finished the New War Quest, a new post-quest setting is available on the ‘Earth’ Region in the Star Chart directly. Don’t miss it!
  • Post New-War, new options are available in the Personal Quarters of your Orbiter.

HARROW PRIME HAS ARRIVED!

HARROW PRIME
The inquisitor eternal arises, hallowed by the Void, preaching a gospel of iron and flame.

SCOURGE PRIME
Smite the unrighteous with Harrow Prime’s signature speargun.

KNELL PRIME
Ring a funeral toll upon enemy skulls with Harrow Prime’s signature pistol.

NAVE PRIME SYANDANA
Invest Harrow Prime with this golden Syandana of holy office.

TEMPLAR PRIME SUIT
The dress uniform worn with pride by Harrow’s faithful legions.
PLUS! As an added Harrow QoL change, we’ve made some tweaks to his kit.

Passive

Harrow and Harrow Prime now have the ‘Preparation’ style Mod behaviour as a Passive, meaning Harrow now has +100% Maximum Energy is filled on Spawn.

Condemn

  • Radius growth now scales with Range.
  • Added a (non scaling) area-of-effect around Harrow that gets hit by it, similar to Proteas Blaze Artillery, to address hitting enemies that are right on top of you.

Penance

  • Added an initial burst of healing based on sacrificed Shields.

Thurible

  • Increased Charge Rate.

Ivara Prime, Baza Prime, and Aksomati Prime have entered the Prime Vault!

With the Prime Resurgence Event currently running, these Prime items will not be added to this run of the Resurgence schedule as we are not including 2021 Vaulted items in the event.

Prime Resurgence is our first stab at a larger scale Event to the Vaulting program in lieu of The New War. We’ll have lots to review during and after Prime Resurgence ends to dictate how we move forward! If you’re unfamiliar with the Prime Resurgence Event, you can learn more about it in our official Dev Workshop.

With this Vaulting comes the shift of the following Syndicate Sacrifices:

  • Replaced Perrin Sequence Sacrifice of Baza Prime Stock with Panthera Prime Receiver
  • Replaced Perrin Sequence Sacrifice of Ivara Prime Systems with Octavia Prime Chassis
  • Replaced Red Veil Sacrifice of Ivara Prime Chassis with Nezha Prime Chassis

Riven Disposition Changes:

As with each round of Prime Access come updated Riven Disposition numbers. See the full Disposition changes on the official Warframe Forums.

If you already wield the power of these Primes or have their Relics in your Inventory, they will remain after the Vaulting.
Legendary Rank 2 Notice:

  • While we have enough content to achieve Legendary Rank 2 in this Update, we are postponing the ability to perform the Test until 2022. This decision was not made lightly, we simply did not feel we could perform the necessary testing to release it in this build.

  • Optimized performance related to Noggles.
  • Made multiple micro-optimizations to the memory footprint.
  • Made systemic micro-optimizations to level loading.
  • Optimized several aspects of Transmission updating.
  • Made system micro-optimizations for Playstation.

GENERAL CHANGES:

  • We’ve changed the “SKIP CINEMATIC” confirmation when playing Quests to a “HOLD TO CONFIRM” instead of clicking OK. This is aimed to save players (like myself) who accidentally skip cinematics from button mashing, which could heavily hinder the Quest storyline experience.
    • This change does not affect regular gameplay cinematic skipping (mission fly-in / drop-down, etc).
  • Companions will now receive 100% of the Affinity from kills you make. This matches shared Affinity functionality (you receive 100%, Companion receives 100%).
  • Moved the Ghoul Bounty Aya drop to the Final phase as opposed to being in a majority of the Phases. As indicated here.
  • Updated the Operator Voice icons to better reflect their titles.
  • You may have already noticed this upon login, but emails displayed on the Login screen will now always be censored, regardless of having Creator Mode enabled or not. Your email will display only the first and last two letters before the domain, with the letters in between censored as asterisks. Additionally, we have updated the login email lock icon hover text to read ‘Unlock and clear Email’ to clarify its function.
    • Creator Mode still censors your email to be all asterisk.
    • The email domain is not censored by default, so if you wish to hide your entire email, please use the Creator Mode toggle in your Gameplay settings.
  • Moved the K-Drive Race objective markers down closer to the actual K-Drive instead of floating many meters above.
  • Increased back away distance for Grineer Lancers finding cover, so that they can shoot for longer.
  • Enemies are now more likely to throw grenades at a target in cover.
  • Removed Tenet Livia, Primary Kitgun beam-based weapons, Cadus, and Volnus Prime from the Conclave.
    • These new weapons slipped into the Conclave without a proper balance pass.
  • Set max instances on Mirage’s Eclipse loops so they don’t multiply out of control when Hall of Mirrors is used.
  • Adjusted the Grineer Rampart context action offset to prevent clipping with the mesh.
  • AI cover positions have been tweaked to be more consistent.
  • Brachiolysts will now take damage when disarmed instead of equipping electroprods.
  • Decals on Harrow’s Condemn now uses Deferred Rendering for better performance.
  • Made slight adjustments to the Spritsail Prime Chest Plate when equipped on Nidus.
  • Rescue Targets are now far more unlikely to go after an AFK player over an active player.
  • Juno Geminex Moas’ projectiles’ AOE damage now respects line-of-sight and won’t deal damage through cover.
  • Changed the Dojo Orokin Lab description to “Void focused research” to remove outdated Solar Rails indication.
  • The Quest Codex section is now ordered based roughly on intended order of progression! The Quests you have yet to complete will remain at the top of the list for ease of access.
  • Shading improvements have been made to older hair materials to add more depth!

Open Letter From the Developers:

The New War has arrived. This Cinematic quest has come together from all of our team working from our homes across the world, and we’re bringing it to yours. Perhaps for some the wait has been long, years for some veteran Tenno, but it ends today.

A lot has happened following the initial anticipation for ‘The New War’ in 2018 with our first teaser trailer. Over the course of the years, we’ve had events to move the story along (with some cryptic hints)… and then lockdown happened, which truly set us back a year. This is not an exaggeration or an excuse, it is a fact that bears mentioning. We intended to ship the cinematic quest experience much earlier, our own delays and then the world’s delays got in the way of that, but it’s finally here.

Despite the wait, what hasn’t changed is our unquenchable desire to surprise our players and tell your story. The story of the Tenno.

The New War represents the biggest undertaking in the history of Digital Extremes, as well as a new progression point for our Tenno. It has been many years since there was a clear story point that a Tenno could reach. From ‘just get to the Second Dream’ to ‘make sure you’re done the Sacrifice’, we now have that firm goal: wage The New War. This journey will take you several hours, and is one you will not be able to turn back on once you’ve started, so make sure you are prepared!

The New War is here. The stage is set for the future. Once you’ve finished, join us in 2022 for what comes next for Warframe in a post New-War world…

Thank you for your patience and kindness, Tenno.

That’s a lot of new stuff! Once we get wind of the next title update, we’ll let other Tennos know.

Sifu Hands-On Impressions Preview – Everybody’s Kung-Fu Combo Fighting

While developer Sloclap is no stranger to games that focus on combat (Absolver is a good reminder of this), the studio is diving into deeper waters with the upcoming Sifu — a fighting/action game that has a unique aging gameplay mechanic, and what looks to be a way deeper combat system than what we’ve seen in Absolver. Thankfully, we don’t need to wait until next year to find out how it plays, as MP1st has been given the chance to try the game out ahead of launch, and we’re here to report on our Sifu hands-on impressions preview

Wax On. Wax Off.

Starting this preview off, I had no prior knowledge of the system at work other than to expect a brawler-type game. Not far from the truth, as the combat in Sifu plays similarly to combat-heavy titles such as Rocksteady’s Batman Arkham series, or Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man games, which frankly isn’t a bad comparison.

However, it would be more accurate to compare Sifu to classic martial art films such as Drunken Master, Kill Bill, The Raid, and many more along with those featuring legends such as Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. The homework has been done, and it shows in the combat as Sloclap brilliantly executes a seamless, high intensity storm of fists in an all so satisfying way.

Embarking into a lively night club, it didn’t take long before I found myself surrounded by the joint’s local gang, all of whom have been trained in the arts of Kung-Fu. As one began to close in, I threw my fist at another, then followed with a parry, and then with a finisher in one motionless swoop. I knew in this moment of effortless strings of animation that Sloclap had crafted something real special with Sifu.

For me, this was a moment that took me back to my younger years of sitting in front of the TV watching old martial art movies. A lone warrior standing, preparing to fend off a group of bad guys with nothing more than his spirit and skilled fists. Teetering between life and death, the warrior begins his all out assault with adrenaline pumping chains of non-stop punches. It’s entertainment of course, but you would be lying to yourself if you didn’t run around the home as a kid mimicking those very moves. And it’s here that Sloclap really draws into those film inspirations. If there was ever more a game that truly made you feel like a martial artist, then you’re looking at it. There is so much exhilaration in the way combat flows as each strike is thought out as an extension of another, making it a breeze to chain. Simply put it: it’s friggin’ fun.

Kicks, punches, dodges, and parrying are just the tip of the potential in gameplay that Sifu appears to offer too, which is realized soon after the game’s first encounter. While games like Uncharted have made excellent use of the environments during combat, Sifu takes things to the next level. Almost everything in Sifu can be used as a weapon in one way or another.

Couches, walls, railing, and even the floor can be used to the player’s advantage, as you can smash enemies into anything, or use them as tactical advantages to gain distance by rolling over them. There are objects such as glass bottles, bats, wooden planks, and even a sofa’s leg rest that can be swiftly kicked to temporarily stun, and even knock out someone entirely.

One surprising moment during our hands-on was where we busted through a room divider. We didn’t think much of it at first, only to realize later that a piece of wood had landed on the ground for us to use. Small things like this encouraged us to further explore what else the environment may have been hiding, which seems to be plenty and all interactable in some form to enhance the gameplay. And judging from the recent gameplay trailer, we should expect a ton more in terms of variety when it comes to the environments and what players can do.

Overall, the combat in Sifu feels refreshing, and although there are other titles that feel just as great, I don’t think I’ve played one quite like this. Everything in Sifu, in some way or another, is crafted to work together. There’s some strategic to it all too as simply mashing your way through a fight isn’t going to cut it. You need to time things, be precise on when to block, and when to parry. It’s easy to pick up, but not so to master.

Not Roguelite, But Still Hits Like One

It would be wrong to label Sifu as a roguelite, though that’s not to say that Sloclap hasn’t drawn inspiration from the genre for their own unique take. An example of this lies in its death mechanics. For anyone familiar with roguelite games, you’ll probably understand that death isn’t the end, but an opportunity to learn and grow stronger.

For Sifu, the concept of death means you’re given another chance, though at the expense of one’s youth. A death counter will keep track of every death, which in turns directly affects how much the character will age upon a resurrection. The first death it’ll be by one year, the second — by two years, the third — by three, and so on and so forth.

However, unlike a majority of roguelites, death doesn’t immediately (but eventually) means having to start all over. Unlocks, skill and level points, level progression (including dead enemies,) all remain intact as they were before you died, the only difference is that you are now slightly older. And with this being a game based around martial arts, age is often seen as an indication of experience, one that has its pros and cons.

Every time you resurrect, you gain additional damage, but the trade off is less health. These are simple, yet effective conditions that can drastically shape the way you play.

In the beginning of the demo, I was careless. I would run into fights aimlessly swinging around, trading blow for blow, and not worrying about my health depleting. However, this tactic soon proved to be inefficient as dying was becoming more frequent. By the time I had reached past the age 40 it didn’t take many hits from there to die, and in some instances a quick, single combo from an enemy was enough. Sure I could deal more damage, but the only way I could reap in that bonus is if I started to play more carefully, and that’s what eventually ended up happening.

As I aged in the game, I learned more and more about the enemies and the environments. It got to a point where I was able to avoid getting damaged all entirely while playing an older version of the character. Once I did clear the run, I went at it again, and again, and again, eventually fulfilling the challenge set by Sloclap to the press of completing a run without dying.

I really do like how death is handled in Sifu because it does feel like a true learning experience. Yeah, most will probably see it as getting another chance, or making the game “easier,” but to me, Sloclap seems to have handled it nicely. Unfortunately I can’t comment on how death plays in the grander scope of the game since we were restricted to a single section of a chapter. I have no doubts, however, that the challenge that death imposes will undoubtedly be worthwhile when the full release arrives.

As for other roguelite elements, Sifu also features permanent unlocks during runs. When you defeat an enemy you are awarded both skills and level points. Level points can be redeemed at shrines found throughout a chapter and will award you with a buff of your choosing for that run. Skill points on the other hand can be redeemed either at these shrines or right before resurrecting. As their names suggest, they are used to unlock different types of skills. The way this system works is that for every fresh run you need to spend skill points in order to unlock a skill for use during a  run. Afterwards, if you accumulate enough points you can put that towards permanently unlocking that skill. This usually requires three purchases before said skill is unlocked forever, which can be achieved after a few runs.

The preview build appeared to feature a good chunk of skills from the final game, though we are unsure if more are unlocked as you progress through the main story. Either way, I spent a little over 30 hours on this nine-minute demo, unlocking all the skills that we could. Yeah, I invested that much time in such a short demo, mostly because I wanted to see how big of a change each skill provided on each run, which suffice to say, is quite a bit.

There are definitely plenty of reasons to keep on playing, though I suppose the biggest question some of you have is how hard the actual game is? Well, I’ll say don’t expect anything on the level of a Souls game, but you can expect to get your ass handed to you from time to time. Of course that difficulty could increase as you progress deeper into the game, but again we were limited to the single chapter, so we really couldn’t say.

Is there a challenge? Certainly, but overall, I do feel that a majority of players are going to be able to pick up Sifu without the worry of not being able to beat it, but again, that could be different for the release, and I won’t lie, there will be moments where you will be frustrated that you died, which are markings of a true roguelite title.

IP Man, John Wick, Jackie Chan, Kill Bill, and a Drunken Master, All Walk Into a Bar…

The fact that I’ve manage to clock in over 30 hours in such a short demo should have already been a telling sign that I absolutely love this game. While I may have a different opinion by the time I get my hands-on the final release, for what I have played already, Sloclap is looking to deliver one of the best experiences of 2022. You might want to mark Sifu on your radar, as Sloclap might just have the first sleeper hit of 2022 in their hands.

Preview event held via a digital, invite-only event. MP1st would like to thank Sloclap for giving us the opportunity to test Sifu out before launch. Sifu will be released this February 8, 2022 on the PS4, PS5 and PC.

The official AskPlayStation Twitter account has not acknowledged the downtime for now, though we’re hoping that will change soon-ish (provided this outage lasts for a long duration).

Over on Downdetector, it shows a spike in server outages at this time:

We’re keeping a close eye on the situation and will update the post once more news develops. If PSN is down for you, share where you are in the world down in the comments to let other PlayStation gamers know. Likewise, if it’s working for you, share what you did that worked.

There’s also a short list of fixes included, which are listed below.

Far Cry 6 Update 1.000.008 Patch Notes:

Bug fixes:

Same as always, if Ubisoft releases the full changelog, we’ll be sure to update the post. If you spot any gameplay-related or technical fixes included in this title update, leave a comment below.

If you haven’t played Far Cry 6 yet, our review speaks very highly of it! We gave it an 8.5/10, and said, “While Far Cry 6 is not the huge revamp many have been asking for, it is a great time nonetheless. The extensive weapon customization, and new additions like the Supremo weapons and Amigos add even more flexibility to the tried and true formula. The story starts off excellent, and remains solid throughout, although it does start to overstay its welcome towards the latter half of the game. There’s a huge cast of characters, highlighted by yet another iconic Far Cry villain in Anton Castillo.  It’s not going to win over any Far Cry naysayers, but fans of the series should thoroughly enjoy what Ubisoft have done here. It is, in my opinion, the best Far Cry title since 2012’s Far Cry 3.”

Rockstar Games has not released the official patch notes just yet, but we’ve listed down some of the stuff incoming with The Contract:

Plot synopsis of The Contract:

Welcome to F. Clinton and Partner, a new “celebrity solutions agency” catering to the Vinewood elite in need of solutions to high-society problems.

Franklin needs two things to get the agency off the ground: a reliable partner and a big-ticket, high-profile client. With your longtime LS contact — and newly aspiring cannabis entrepreneur — Lamar Davis making the connection, you can be the partner that helps Franklin take the business to the next level.

Meanwhile on the other side of the city, DJ Pooh has been reaching out to Franklin about an exciting potential client: his close friend, Dr. Dre.

Lost in the shuffle on his way to Cayo Perico last year, it turns out Dr. Dre’s phone isn’t just missing — it’s in the wrong hands. Not only that, but the phone also contains the hottest property in the city: new, unreleased music from Dr. Dre himself. This could be the big break your agency needs.

Get ready for a wild and hilarious ride through Los Santos, from the mean streets of Franklin’s old neighborhood to the hottest parties in the city, from debaucherous mansions to the offices of the FIB and everywhere in between as you join Franklin, expert hacker Imani, Chop the Dog, and crew to secure Dr. Dre’s precious tracks and return them to their rightful owner.
