Report: Lenovo Gaming Handheld Device Leaked, Called the Lenovo Legion Play

Looks like Lenovo is joining the video game handheld business. A report has surfaced that the Lenovo gaming handheld device has leaked, and it’s called the Lenovo Legion Play according to a source code hidden in Lenovo’s Germany and Japan MWC 2021 websites.

As discovered by Liliputing’s Brad Lider, the new handheld looks like cross between a Nintendo Switch and Steam’s upcoming Steam Deck handheld, and will be the first Android cloud gaming console as described in the leaked files of the system.

“Designed for AAA gaming, the Lenovo Legion Play is the first Android cloud gaming console. The console lets users play hundreds of cloud games, stream their game library, or play mobile games. It features a 7″ 16:9 FHD bezel-less display, HDR 10, built-in controllers, dual speakers, dual vibration, and 7000mAh battery to provide the best gaming experience. Our developer program is open to all game developers. Coming soon in select markets.”

While smaller than the Nintendo Switch’s upcoming OLED screen, the Lenovo Legion Play will have a crisp 1920 x 1080 resolution display and will be using Android technology. It’s unclear whether or not the system will support wifi only or include cellular data access, but we’ll just have to wait and see once something official is announced by Lenovo. For now, take this leak with a grain of salt.

Speaking of leaks, check out the Steam Deck Interface for Dev Kits here.

Alan Wake Remastered Review (PS5) – Twilight Zoned

It’s been 11 long years since the original Alan Wake released for the Xbox 360. At the time, it received high praise from both critics and gamers alike, and since then many had dreamed that Remedy would one day release a sequel. Sadly, that never happened though in its spot we did get two brand-new IPs, those being Quantum Break, and the highly acclaimed award winning, Control.

Fortunately for us, Remedy surprised everyone with an announcement that Alan Wake was getting remastered, and what’s more, would be released the following month! Our Alan Wake Remastered review talks about the differences the original has with the remaster, and we also treat it as a review wherein we assume the gamer hasn’t played the original.

An American Horror Story

In Alan Wake, you play as renowned international best-selling thriller author, Alan Wake. Having been struggling the last two years with his latest novel due to a bad case of writer’s block, Alan and his wife, Alice, decide it’s time they have a change in scenery by going on a bit of a vacation. The place? Bright Falls, a secluded town located somewhere in the mountains of Washington.

It’s a small town, filled with lodging and many friendly and welcoming folks. For both Alan and Alice, it’s the perfect place to get away from it all. However, upon arrival Alan has a strange nightmare of shadowy figures hunting him through a forest. A dream, but one that felt all too real for Alan.

Dismissing it as a dream, Alan and Alice soon find themselves settling in at a cabin by the lake. Unbeknownst to Alan, Alice has brought Alan’s writing equipment in hopes that the change in scenery would resolve his writer’s block. As you can imagine Alan isn’t too happy about this as the whole purpose of him coming to Bright Falls was to get away from work. So understandably, he storms out of the cabin as nightfall sets in.

It’s not long after that he hears a loud scream coming from the cabin, and upon returning he finds his wife sinking to the bottom of the lake. Frantically, he dives in to rescue her only to wake up moments later in his vehicle that had apparently crashed. A full week has gone by and Alan has no recollection of anything in the lost time, nor knows the whereabouts of his wife. It’s here where the mystery of Bright Falls begins as Alan will soon discover that his dreams aren’t dreams at all and that the town of Bright Falls is hiding a dark and sinister secret — one that Alan isn’t quite ready to face.

Honestly if you haven’t played Alan Wake yet, you really should, especially if you’re a fan of Remedy’s other titles like Control. It’s a phenomenal story that has clearly shaped the studio since its original release and having replayed Alan Wake for the first time in nearly 11 years, I’m reminded of why I fell in love with Remedy’s work in the first place. Alan Wake story is one that feels wonderfully aged, still capable of invoking those psychological thrills and mysteries that you would get from the works it’s inspired from. It’s like a good Stephen King novel brought to life through a video game.

The gameplay itself plays into the narrative, as the only form of defense that Alan has is a flashlight that makes the dark entities vulnerable to gunshots. It seems kind of silly when you think about it, but the combat is enjoyable and incorporates the story in a smart way. There are even collectibles scattered throughout the game that come in the form of pages from a manuscript, one that Alan hasn’t even written yet. He is literally writing the story as we play the game, and these pages reveal more plot details that you may have missed the first time around.

Overall, the story and gameplay offer a very satisfying experience. That shouldn’t come much as a surprise though, as the original already offered that, so I guess the real question is, how good of a remaster is Alan Wake?

The Definite Experience

I’m always cautious about remasters because more often than not they’re just a simple resolution bump in order to bring a title to full HD. I’ve been burned before with some lazy ports, and with studio d3t (Shenmue HD, Mafia 2 remaster) assisting here I had some big concerns, though thankfully for the most part this is one of their better remasters.

First, resolution and frame-rate has been increased. Whereas the original was capped off at 30fps (frames-per-second), the remaster now supports 60fps on certain consoles and runs at full 4K. Both of these are extremely welcome changes, and for PlayStation gamers experiencing Alan Wake for the time, there is no better way to play than with those options. Testing Alan Wake on the PS5 we noticed nearly zero dips during gameplay and the image quality was spectacularly clear. However, cutscenes for whatever reason felt like they were rendered at 30fps with very noticeable jittering.

That’s a pretty common issue with cutscenes in remasters, as often it would require a studio to recreate the scene entirely since they come in a video format rather than rendered in real-time. The thing is, these have been re-rendered as evident from the new character models and improved textures. Perhaps a bug, one that will hopefully get fixed.

And as mentioned, the remaster has new character models and improved textures. It’s an impressive improvement as the environments are even more stunning than before. Everything has a sharper look, with objects in the distance now being more distinguishable. It’s how a remaster should be done when it comes to upgrading textures, and the improvements are massive when compared to the Xbox 360 version.

It looks fantastic, and even more so when it comes to character models.

The one thing I will say is, compared to the original PC version, Alan Wake handles its blacks a lot better than the remaster.

Left is the remaster, and the right is original PC.

Still, the Remaster is without a question the better looking version when taking into account all the new improvements.  The only big annoyance is that the remaster doesn’t appear to improve the character’s animations all that much. They’re definitely better than what they were before, but they still look stiff when it comes to facial expressions and general movement. In cutscenes especially some of the facial animations are awkward and not at all what they should be.

As for utilizing the DualSense controller, Alan Wake adds some resistance feedback to the triggers when firing a gun or shining your flashlight. It’s not a game-changer like it is in some titles, but it is an enjoyable implementation of the new controller features.

Further, Remedy has also gone back and added some additional content. First, the original two DLC episodes ‘The Signal’ and ‘The Writer,’ are included in this release. If you missed out on those now is your chance to finally get to experience them. Sadly, however, the standalone American Nightmare DLC is not included, nor has it been announced as getting a remastered treatment. It’s a massive piece of story content to just leave out like this, though we do have our fingers crossed it will arrive later as a DLC.

Lastly, Remedy is offering a completely new commentary track for the remaster. It still features the original one, but for those wanting some brand-new developer insight and a reflection of the studio looking back at Alan Wake, well now you have it.

Verdict

Outside of the lack of the American Nightmare DLC, Alan Wake Remastered is without a question the definite way to play Alan Wake. Improved performance coupled with immensely improved visuals makes the journey back into Bright Falls well worth taking again for fans. And if you’re one of the many who are new the IP, well get ready for one incredible experience.

Score: 9/10

Pros:

  • Spectacular story
  • Combat has aged well and is enjoyable.
  • Visual improvements makes it well worth the revisit.
  • Rock solid 60fps during gameplay.

Cons:

  • Character animations can be stiff at times.
  • Cutscenes see frame rate drops.
  • American Nightmare not included, leaving a huge chunk of story out.

Elden Ring in Final Stages of Development According to FromSoftware Dev

In a recent interview with Famitsu, FromSoftware’s Yasuhiro Kitao briefly discussed the upcoming game Elden Ring, and when asked about the status of the game’s development, he said, “We’re in the final stages of development, and we’re moving forward quietly.”

When asked what kind of game Elden Ring is, here’s what he had to say:

“It’s a culmination of FromSoftware’s expertise in dark fantasy action. You can enjoy the high level of difficulty and the sense of accomplishment of overcoming it, the joy of discovering the unknown, and the creation of the world setting.”

FromSoftware is known for the high level of difficulty of their games, and it seems Elden Ring is not that different, according to Kitao:

“It’s easy. (laughs), but we want players to feel a sense of accomplishment, and one of the ways to achieve this is to set a high difficulty level. One of the ways to achieve this is to set the difficulty to a high level, so there is a definite sense of accomplishment in this game. And there are systems in place to help you experience that sense of accomplishment. For example, when there are a lot of enemies, you can summon a spirit to fight with you as your companion.”

Lastly, here’s a message to the fans waiting for the game’s release:

“We released the video and release date in June 2021, after two years of no new information since we released the video at E3 2019. I thought it would be forgotten until then, but there were many people waiting for it, and I want to say thank you again to them. We will continue to develop the game to meet your expectations, so please look forward to it.

I’m sure we’ll be able to meet your expectations.”

Elden Ring will launch for the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 21, 2022.

Accompanying the video is an overview released by the Bloober Team that recaps and describes the series thus far.

The first Layers of Fear, released in 2016, made waves in the gaming industry with its unique take on the first-person psychological horror experience told from the point of view of a painter obsessively trying to finish his Magnum Opus—no matter the cost. This award-winning title successfully created a new direction for both the Bloober Team studio and the psychological horror genre that increased its popularity in the mainstream gaming community. Layers of Fear was later expanded with a story DLC titled Inheritance.

Sadly, no further details were revealed outside of the teaser. no platforms, nor target release date, though we suspect a full reveal to be happening real soon. Sony Files Patent for Bandwidth Management Tech

Sony Interactive has filed a new patent for their PlayStation technologies, with this latest one relating to bandwidth management. The patent has been the subject of discussion on both Reddit and Twitter, where several users offering their thoughts on this “new” tech and what it could bring to the table for the PlayStation consoles.

Glancing through the opening page, it appears that this bandwidth management patent relates to certain ‘profiles’ that differ in their priority for the overall bandwidth of a player’s internet connection. For instance, one could prioritize a game’s download over their own current online game lobby (or vice versa), as well as different download bandwidths of games downloading at the same time. Several profiles could then be created, all satisfying different situations, like something that you will probably use while gaming (lower bandwidth for game downloads) and others.

What’s certainly interesting is the fact that this technology, while currently being filed for patent, is certainly not new. It’s a feature called ‘Quality of Service’ (QOS); Xbox, for instance, already has a system in place that lets you prioritize certain games for higher bandwidth. On PC, most commonly Steam, you can throttle the download speeds of other games in order to prioritize others, which is overall a very good feature to have if you still want to download something while playing online.

While some commenters have stated that this technology has nothing to do with overall latency but just the download bandwidth itself, the patent filing begs to differ. Section 37, Page 4 of the document describes ‘spike prediction,’ albeit used in a sample involving media playback. On the whole, the patent is intriguing, and look to Sony and PlayStation possibly make this a natural development for their current and future consoles.

Thanks, Reddit!

Resident Evil Village Gets Recreated as 2D Castlevania Game Called Residentvania

The latest entry in the Resident Evil series goes retro, as Resident Evil Village gets recreated as a 2D Castlevania game called Residentvania by a fan who definitely had a lot of time in his hands!

Check out the fan video by YouTube user Florin Oco, and he definitely put every attention to detail in recreating the atmosphere of classic Castlevania and injecting it with the plot of RE Village!

In a description accompanying the video,  Florin explains his inspiration behind making the mash up as well as what levels were used as the basis of his fan video.

The first thing I thought while playing “Resident Evil: Village” was how much it reminded me of “Castlevania”, so I thought I’d make a mash up of the two. I chose the first level of the original “Castlevania” for NES, mixed in with the Castle Dimitrescu section of “RE: Village”.

As two of the most popular video game franchises known to gamers, Castlevania and Resident Evil share a common theme in the horror genre — and in many ways RE Village does fit into the theme of storming into a castle filled with monsters and creatures until you reach the final boss you need to defeat. In this case it’s Ethan Winters taking on Lady Dimitrescu instead of Simon Belmont versus Dracula, and it works!

Speaking of Castlevania, rumor has it that Konami is planning to make a new game along with reviving their other IPs like Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill. Read the details on that here.

You can play Residentvania by downloading it from Florin Oco’s page.

World War Z: Aftermath Review – Army of the Dead (PS5)

World War Z Aftermath is an all-new expansion to 2019’s World War Z, that’s being billed almost as a pseudo-sequel. It will run you $39.99 as a new player, but those who already own the base game can upgrade for just $19.99. It adds two new story chapters to the game, and a host of new content, mechanics, and progression options for both new and old players alike.

Is this an upgrade worth buying? Read on for our World War Z Aftermath revew!

New Ways to Kill

One of the biggest features being added in Aftermath is the all new first-person perspective. Although the new camera view adds to the immersion by bringing you closer to the action, the lack of a true ADS mechanic for weapons makes it feel like an afterthought. Make no mistake, World War Z is still a third person game first.

Aftermath brings two new story episodes to the game – Rome and Kamchatka. The Rome episode will take you on a mission to the Colosseum to reclaim the Vatican City of Rome, while the Kamchatka episode has you joining up with other survivors in the freezing cold of Russia’s Eastern peninsula to take back a cargo ship, and eventually a nuclear submarine. Each of the new episodes is split into three smaller missions that will run you about 15-20 minutes each. Altogether, there are six new maps in the expansion, bringing the total up to 23 when you include content from the base game. All in all, there’s about two hours of new story content available here, all of which is highly replayable.

Saber Interactive has also completely revamped the melee system, adding a host of new melee weapons – some of which can be dual wielded. There are also new melee-specific perks to unlock, and combos to take advantage of, too.

Another major addition is the new Vanguard class. The Vanguard sports an electrified shield that can be used to shock and kill anything that charges your way, essentially allowing you to “tank” for your team. There’s also a shield charge mechanic that can take down a horde of zombies in one go. Of course, there are tons of new perks to unlock for the class as well. While the first few are focused on improving your shield, some of the later perks will unlock buffs for your whole team. Unfortunately, although the shield charge is fun, at times I couldn’t help but feel that I would have rather had a good ol’ frag grenade.

Performance

On PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the game now runs at 4K 60 frames-per-second (fps), though through backwards compatibility. Performance on the PS5 was solid for the most part, outside of a few frame dips during the initial stages of the Kamchatka mission. There was also the occasional bug, including one where a teammate got stuck inside a train, forcing us to wipe. Still, considering all the AI running around the map, Aftermath performs great on next-gen hardware.

While 4K and 60fps is a huge upgrade in itself, Sabre have also promised a larger, more comprehensive update to the game when the native next-gen versions drop next year. This includes even larger hordes of Zekes and improved graphical fidelity. Also announced is the new Horde Mode XL game mode – a new mode poised to take further advantage of the new hardware by pitting you against endless waves of zombies even larger than before. Horde Mode XL will be added in a free, post-launch update alongside the native next gen releases.

World War Z on PC (by Ernest Lim):

As someone coming in fresh to the game, the first time I watched its movie namesake at the scene in Israel, I thought to myself, “those soldiers on the helicopters might be having fun.” If you’re one of the many people that find a certain satisfaction in obtaining kill streaks on hundreds of zombies, this is the game that gives you just that. World War Z Afttermath has loads of comparable opportunities which makes it a very entertaining game, and is easily at its most fun while playing with friends and coordinating through coms. Admittedly, playing it with randoms — or worse, AI — just doesn’t feel as fun.

Playing on PC, I felt that the controls were a bit clunky in some aspects, and aiming down sights didn’t feel as accurate as your traditional first-person shooter (as mentioned by AJ). Even with that it still is a very good game for those looking for a fast paced co-op zombie hoard wiping shooter.

PC specs used to play:

Zephyrus GX701
i7 9750
24GB RAM
RTX 2070

Verdict

All in all, WWZ: Aftermath is a solid value for the $40 asking price. There is plenty to keep you busy here, and I found the gameplay to be quite enjoyable. The progression is deep, and the various classes and skill trees give you meaningful ways to change things up each run. While the first-person perspective has been implemented well, it’s hard to turn down the added visibility that a third-person camera offers you, and a true ADS mechanic is sorely lacking. If you’re looking to shoot some zombies in the face with your friends without thinking too much about it though, Aftermath should be right up your alley.

World War Z Aftermath is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and the Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version has also been announced for release on November 2, 2021.

Pros:

  • Smooth, enjoyable gameplay that’s great for some mindless fun.
  • 4k 60 on next-gen consoles with better optimization across all platforms.
  • The new first person camera feels natural and is well implemented. It completely changes the feel of the game and is a great option to have if you prefer a more Left 4 Dead style of gameplay.
  • An overhauled melee system that makes melee an effective option in close quarters.
  • Lots, and I mean lots of zombies.

Cons

  • While my experience was smooth, there have been many reports of connection issues.
  • Story is light, and altogether forgettable.
  • No ADS mechanic in first person mode.
  • A small amount of bugs here and there.

A review code of World War Z Aftermath was provided by the publisher, and played on PS5 along with PC. You can read SP1st and MP1st’s review and scoring policy right here

Rumor: New Silent Hill Game Being Developed by Kojima Productions

Take this with a big grain of salt, but rumor has it that a new Silent Hill game is being developed by Kojima Productions — meaning that Konami and Hideo Kojima may have possibly mended fences to work on a new installment for one of the most iconic survival horror franchises ever!

According to a report by Gematsu, Sony Computer Entertainment is funding the project — and Konami is going to be working with Kojima Productions once again following their work on P.T. and the cancelled Silent Hills game back in 2014.

While all of this sounds too good to be true following Hideo Kojima’s well documented departure from Konami, on the flip side it could be a good way for Konami to make up not just with the Metal Gear creator, but to fans of their IPs as well. Prior to the release of Kojima’s last work with the company in Metal Gear Solid 5, Silent Hills was abruptly cancelled — leaving the future of the series up in the air.

Again, treat this with a grain of salt, though we wouldn’t be surprised if this was true.

A new report has surfaced that Konami is planning to do new Silent Hill games along with Metal Gear Solid, which you can read here.

Choo-Choo Charles Combines Our Fear of Spiders With a Train

Have you ever wondered what would happen if Thomas the Train had a nightmare child with a spider? Probably not, but that’s precisely what Two Star Games newly announced Choo-Choo Charles seems like as you fend off against a blood thirsty spider train! Yeah, like the fear of spiders wasn’t already enough.

Choo-Choo Charles Trailer

About Choo-Choo Charles:

In Choo-Choo Charles you’re given the task of eradicating a monster known by the locals as “Charles”. Nobody knows where he came from, but they know why; to eat the flesh of puny humans. You have a small yellow train, with a map, mounted machine gun, and an exquisite collection of bobble-heads on the dashboard. You’ll use this train to get from place to place, while you complete missions for the townspeople, or loot scraps from around the island. Over time you’ll use your scraps to upgrade your train’s speed, armor, and damage. You’ll grow your arsenal, and (hopefully) become an unstoppable force, ready to take on the great and mighty Charles.
Yeah, no thanks! On a serious note, this does look like it could be a fun one! Its premise is certainly unique enough to peak some interest. Hopefully we see more real soon, especially since a release is planned for PC for the first quarter of 2022. We’ll be sure to keep you all posted should any new details arise.

Ghost of Tsushima and Monster Hunter Rise Win Game of the Year at Tokyo Game Show 2021

Outside of selling a ton, it sems Sucker Punch Productions Ghost of Tsushima has also won a huge award in Japan this year! Both Ghost of Tsushima, and Monster Hunter Rise win Game of the Year at the Tokyo Game Show’s Japan Game Awards 2021 online event! Note that Ghost of Tsushima was released last year, but given TGS was cancelled in 2020, it’s part of the nominees list for this year.

As shown in the livestream broadcast of the Japan Game Awards, both the PlayStation Studios exclusive, and Capcom’s action-RPG won big, and shared the crown as the fan voted favorites to win the GOTY award!

It comes as no surprise that Ghost of Tsushima won. The Sucker Punch Productions masterpiece sold well over 6.5 million copies, and won Game of the Year at last year’s The Game of Awards. Now its enhanced re-release enjoys the same victory in the Japan Game Awards, proving that Japanese gamers love the game and how it pays tribute to the country’s rich history and samurai heritage. You can read our Ghost of Tsushima review here, where it got an impressive 9.5/10 score.

As for Monster Hunter Rise, the game is another mega hit for Capcom’s growing monster slaying franchise that earns another Game of the Year award. Released early this year as a Nintendo Switch title, the game is set to be released for PC players this coming March.

Friday the 13th: The Game Developer Ilffonic Working on a Ghostbusters Game

With Sony’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife movie set to launch this November 19, it looks like there’s more ghost bustin’ on the way even in the form of video games. Illfonic, the studio behind Friday the 13th: The Game, Predator: Hunting Grounds & more, are working on a new Ghostbusters game!

This was confirmed by studio co-founder Raphael Saadiq in a recent podcast. When asked how many games Ilffonic has and has out, Saadiq said the following:

Friday the 13th (was) the last one, and Predator (Hunting Grounds), and we’re working on Ghostbusters right now, and Arcadegeddon is out right now

The part where Saadiq says it is around the 1:00:20 mark.

No other details were shared, sadly. Given Sony owns the Ghostbusters the IP, there is a chance this is a PlayStation exclusive, since Predator Hunting Grounds can only be played on a PlayStation consoles (outside of PC).

The latest mainstream Ghostbusters video game was Ghostbusters: The Video Game, which was originally released back in 2009, and developed by Terminal Reality. It was re-released for the PS4, Xbox One in October 2019.

Thanks, Hunter!

Wasteland 3 Update 1.24 Out This October 1 for Version 1.5.3

Developer InXile has released the Wasteland 3 update 1.24 patch this October 1, and this patch has made its way out onto different platforms (also tagged as Wasteland  update 1.5.3), and this big one lays the groundwork for the upcoming Cult of the Holy Detonation expansion releasing next week. It also includes some gameplay changes and the usual fixes, so check out the full patch notes below.

Wasteland 3 Update 1.24 | Wasteland 3 1.5.3 Patch Notes:

Gameplay

  • Assault Rifles have been beefed up to let you play out your deepest Rambo fantasies:

  • Double Tap will now crit on every bullet that hits its target, rather than just the first one. Heads will pop.

  • Puncturing Shot now does +100% damage on targets that are either Stunned or have Damaged Armor. Poke them holes!

  • Stormer now also applies to Assault Rifle weapons in addition to SMGs. Flank away!

  • Fixed a bug that caused the Opportunist perk to add +5% to the Strike Meter for all weapons. It now only works for handguns as intended.

  • Stun Resistance was giving us some resistance to working the way it should and now works as intended. A character with 100% Stun Resistance is now…. (you guessed it!) 100% resistant to being stunned!

  • We resolved a lingering issue that could result in a discrepancy between the Patriarch’s final dialog about Steeltown’s resolution, and the game’s ending slides.

  • The conversation with Quarex should now always trigger properly, allowing players to properly progress with the mission ‘Quarex’s Hellacious Journey.’

  • Fishlips now correctly takes off to Denver if he is directed there, instead of saying he’ll go and then just oddly hang out at Union Station like a friend who says they’re leaving the party and then you see them again an hour later and you’re like dude you’re still here? He won’t do that.

  • World map merchants can now properly reappear even after players have encountered them before.

  • Fixed a rounding error that could result in selling multiple items not yielding an equitable sum of video game currency the same as when said items are sold individually. It’s basic video game economics and we’re proud to adhere to this global standard.

User Interface
  • Improvements to the Inspection Window in the upper right corner of the game screen have been made. When using mouse & keyboard, it will now remember the last character you had hovered on, so that you can more easily view tooltips for their stats and status effects.

  • The pedestal out front of Ranger HQ no longer has a name displayed before players decide to name the statue that… (spoiler) may go there. In your heart, you can name the pedestal whatever you want though, we don’t mind. We named ours Hank. Hank Pedestal. He’s an amateur microbiologist.

  • Holding the left stick or arrow key in the crafting screen will now also accelerate the quantities of items selected there.

  • Saving manually will reset the timer showing the time since last save.

Console

  • Under the hood improvements were made for Yuma Speedway & Ranger HQ to reduce the amount of memory these scenes required, making these areas more stable.

  • We resolved an issue that was sometimes preventing players from changing new Rangers’ names.

Co-op

  • We resolved an issue that was resulting in guest players sometimes encountering doors with unresolvable lockpick skill checks.

  • Player UI markers in cooperative mode have been adjusted to help more clearly identify which character is selected and which squad group the characters are being controlled from.

  • When Gonzalez radios players about the statue out front of Ranger HQ, both players will now receive that transmission.

That’s about it for the patch.
