That’s all the patch notes that have been released for today’s patch. The previous update was patch 1.15 which improved game stability. It might be a while until we get a more bigger update for the game.

“The Looney Tunes Expansion animates the competition with five new vehicles, a themed Track Builder Module, themed customization items for the Basement and the Player’s Profile, and the Looney Tunes Adventure Park environment, where players can relive the hilarious adventures of the classic animated franchise. The Looney Tunes Adventure Park is divided into four themed areas, including the iconic desert set of Wile E. Coyote’s epic fails.”

That’s it for the patch notes. Hot Wheels Unleashed is out now for the PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms.

SOCIAL TAGS + LOOKING FOR PARTY

Fortnite Social Tags

Express how you play Fortnite! With the new option to add social tags to your profile, select up to three for other players to see. You can choose tags that express your favorite game mode(s) (2v2, Deathrun, Free For All, etc.), your gameplay vibe(s) (Chill, Mic Off, Mic On, etc.), and your preferred competitive event(s) (Cosmetic Cup, Hype Cup, Lightning Cup, etc.). You’ll also be recommended Fortnite experiences based on your social tags.

To add social tags to your profile, click on your profile icon in the Sidebar, then select +Add Tag. Once you have at least one social tag, you’ll be able to send party invites to and receive party invites from players with matching tags (who are in your server region). These party invites can be sent from the new Looking For Party section in the Sidebar. This section is Fortnite’s very own LFG (looking for group) feature where you can party up based on interest and region.

In this section, you will need to turn on Looking For Party in order to start sending and receiving invites from players. At any time, you can turn Looking For Party off. When off, you’ll stop receiving invites and have your sent invites expire. When playing Duos, Trios, Squads, etc., using Looking For Party is optional — the normal invite system for partying up will remain.

Social tags and Looking For Party are features currently in testing. These features will be incrementally rolled out to all players at a rate dependent on the test.

REALITY SAPLING BALANCE CHANGE

Fortnite Reality Sapling

We’ve made adjustments to the amount of Reality Fruit a Reality Sapling can grow based on its rarity. In each growth cycle, Reality Saplings will now grow:

  • 3 fruits when Uncommon or Rare
  • 2 fruits when Epic
  • 1 fruit when Legendary or Mythic

VISUALIZED AUDIO ADJUSTMENT

We’ve reduced the detection radius of the “Visualize Sound Effects” indicator for footsteps, Chests, and vehicles to better match the distance when that sound would be audible. This will mean the source of these sounds will need to be closer before appearing on your HUD.

COMPETITIVE NOTES

  • The Darth Vader boss, Darth Vader’s Lightsaber, Stormtroopers, and E-11 Blasters are not included in competitive playlists.

With 21.10 we’re continuing improvements in this area, fixing some interactions where Survivors wouldn’t spawn and adding more camps so you can save ‘em all! We’ve also modified this mission to spawn more survivors than is needed to earn the Platinum badge, making them easier to find and giving you some flexibility when rescuing everyone.

CONSUMABLE CHANGES

PC players got the DLC earlier this month, but for those on consoles, it’ll be out officially on June 21, which means the title update now brings in the data for the new chapter! Check out the complete The Elder Scrolls Online June 20 patch notes below.

The Elder Scrolls Online Update 2.32 Patch Notes | The Elder Scrolls Online Update 1.004 Patch Notes | The Elder Scrolls Online June 20 (June 21) Patch Notes:

HIGH ISLE CHAPTER

New Zone – High Isle
Set sail for adventure in the Systres Archipelago! In this update, you’ll travel to High Isle and Amenos, two of the four islands southwest of Tamriel.

  • To begin your travels to High Isle, you can choose from among the following:
    • Create a new character and play through the Tutorial
    • Enter the zone with an existing character by one of the following means:
      • Use a Wayshrine to enter High Isle near the city of Gonfalon Bay
      • Use a boat or cart outside Elden Root, Mournhold, or Wayrest to travel to the Gonfalon Docks
      • Travel to a friend who is already in High Isle
  • After you complete the Tutorial or otherwise arrive in High Isle, seek out the rogue Jakarn awaiting for your arrival at various locations in and around Gonfalon Bay. He’ll ask you for help in the Main Story and send you to meet with Lady Arabelle Davaux inside the city.
  • In addition to the Main Story, the High Isle chapter includes the following activities:
    • Six delves, four on High Isle and two on nearby Amenos, each with its own Skyshard, boss, and associated content
    • Six challenging world bosses, including the terrifying Sable Knight occupying a ruined castle on High Isle, or the crafty Glemyos Wildhorn, a lord of the trickster faun race and master of their domain on Amenos
    • Two public dungeons: The ancient Spire of the Crimson Coin, a source of great legends and even greater treasures, and Ghost Haven Bay, the last refuge of long-dead pirates and their vengeful captains
    • Three new set crafting locations
    • Nine full-length Objective quests
    • Many independent content quests, unique distractions, and many other wilderness and city encounters throughout the zone

Volcanic Vents and Lava Vents
The Systres Archipelago is something of an island paradise, but every paradise has its problems. Each island in the archipelago is volcanic, to a greater or lesser extent. Due to certain recent events, tectonic shifts plague High Isle and Amenos, resulting in huge Volcanic Vents and smaller Lava Vents appearing throughout the islands. You can seek out these ruptures and calm them, defeating the monsters that pour forth and helping local druids settle the violence bubbling up from below.

  • Seek out large Volcanic Vents and engage in group, overworld content as you assist the druids in their efforts to calm the eruption. Volcanic Vents will appear with an icon on your map when they are active!
  • Discover smaller Lava Vents and defeat the emerging enemies yourself or with friends.
  • Earn special rewards for defeating these creatures and keeping the Systres safe for another day!

Tales of Tribute
The new tactical card game, Tales of Tribute, has been growing in popularity in taverns across Tamriel and now you can learn how to play and unlock a fun new pastime! As you expand your collection and compete against others, you’ll earn new cards, decks, furnishings, cosmetics, Transmute Crystals and more.

To begin, visit the Roister Club of Gonfalon Bay, in High Isle. There, speak with Brahgas who will get you started on your journey to becoming a Tribute Master. Once you’ve earned your starting decks, you’ll be able to learn more about Tales of Tribute and rise through the club ranks, take on daily PvE and PvP challenges, compete in Tribute seasonal ranked play (beginning on June 8), or simply kick back at the local tavern and enjoy a friendly match with other heroes.

  • Patron Decks
    • Each collectible patron deck contains a unique patron token and associated deck of cards whose mechanics synergize.
    • Review your collected and soon-to-be collected patron decks in the ‘Tales of Tribute Patrons’ Collections tab. There, you’ll see the powers offered by each patron, their starter card, base cards and upgrade cards.
    • Expand your game options and skills by acquiring new decks with a whole new set of cards and patron. Each deck has a set of unique cards and patron that thematically and mechanically will offer a host of new strategy opportunities when combined with other decks.
    • Select two of the four patron decks in a match and craft a strategy based around the cards and patrons you and your opponent bring to the game. A good player will have their plans ready, but the great players will be ready to adapt to the ebbs and flows of the game, adjusting to each situation and countering their opponent’s strategies!
    • Patron Decks can be discovered in and around High Isle by partaking in activities, from public dungeons and world bosses to questing and incursions.
  • Cards
    • Every unlockable deck has some cards which can be replaced with new, more potent ones you may discover in Tamriel; some deck upgrade cards have abilities you won’t find elsewhere.
    • These new cards can even be discovered or earned before you’ve unlocked their base deck, providing you with a little extra incentive to seek out those deck unlocks!
    • Winning in Tribute matches against others grants a variety of rewards, including gold, transmutation crystals, motifs, cosmetics and even clues toward discovering those shiny new upgrade cards.
  • Looking for a relaxed match for fun and profit? Queue up in the Activity Finder for a casual game against another player!
  • Ranked Seasons with hefty rewards and leaderboards will be available with the full launch of the High Isle Chapter.

Two New Companions: Ember & Isobel
Two new Companions can be befriended in High Isle by completing associated Chapter content. Ember, the streetwise spellcaster, can be found at Tor Draioch just north of Gonfalon Bay. The honorable knight aspirant Isobel Veloise can be found at Castle Navire on the southwest coast of High Isle.

  • If you have access to the High Isle Chapter, you can unlock the two Companions through completing associated quests in the High Isle zone.
  • Once either objective is completed, the respective Companion collectible will be granted.
    • These collectibles can be found in the Collections menu under the Allies category, in the Companion subcategory.
    • You may have either a Companion or an Assistant active.
    • Companion collectibles may be activated from the Collections menu or quick slotted for ease of use.
    • Once unlocked, other characters on your account will need to also complete the associated introductory objective to utilize Ember or Isobel, but skill line, level progression and equipment are preserved on each Companion regardless which character summoned them.
  • Each Companion possesses a passive perk ability which benefits you while the Companion is active, which can be seen via the Companion menu. This perk may also be permanently unlocked via Companion achievement accomplishment.
    • Ember provides “Ember’s Intuition” which provides a chance to acquire hidden wallets of gold when pickpocketing, while Isobel grants “Isobel’s Grace” which gives a chance to recover the pack of a slain knight when defeating world bosses, which may contain various supplies.

New Trial – Dreadsail Reef
Surrounded by jagged, shallow reefs and inhabited by fierce predators, this small islet on the far fringes of the Systres Archipelago was practically untouched by man or mer until the Dreadsail’s Fleet Queen claimed it as her own. Take the fight to the Dreadsail pirates as part of the invasion force set to rid High Isle of this Maormer menace.

  • Dreadsail Reef is a 12-player Trial off the coast and can be reached via boat in the northwest section of High Isle.
  • The Trial includes a normal and challenging Veteran version.
  • There are unique Item Sets within the Trial including Perfected versions only found in the Veteran difficulty.

UPDATE 34 BASE GAME

Mundus Stones in Armory
Mundus Stones have been added to the Armory system! Each Armory build will now save your current Mundus Stone and loading that build will grant you that Mundus Stone boon. The preview screen for each build slot will also display the Mundus Stone saved for that build.

To aid in the transition to this new feature, when your character first logs into the game, whatever Mundus Stone you currently have will be automatically applied to all of your builds. You can still manually update any particular build later by loading that build, obtaining the desired Mundus Stone, then saving the build.

And yes, the system supports builds that use the Twice-Born Star item set.

AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR)
In Update 34 we have added support for FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0. This upscaling technology is available for all graphics cards and can be used to improve performance for those who are bottlenecked by their GPU while playing ESO. This can be used to get straightforward improvements in framerate, or to allow you to enable more demanding graphics settings like our Screen Space GI while maintaining similar framerates to what you had before.

  • We recommend starting with Ultra Quality mode and lowering from there as needed as we have seen great performance gains with this alone, especially on older graphics cards.
  • FSR 1.0 works best with higher quality antialiasing; we recommend setting your antialiasing to TAA if you enable FSR, but we support using FSR with any antialiasing option.

Quickslot Wheel Updates
We’ve added multiple additional utility quickselect wheels for collectible allies, mementos, emotes, and tools. You can tab between these wheels while holding the quickselect wheel keybind

  • Allies, mementos, emotes, and tools can be slotted to their corresponding wheels directly from their respective Collections menu category.
  • You can now assign any emote to the existing quickselect wheel.
  • The existing emote wheel when utilizing Gamepad Mode can now be used through the quickselect wheel keybind.

Choose Title Screen Music
You now have the ability to choose which title music theme plays on the game’s login screen. In the Audio Settings tab, there is a new drop down labeled “Intro Music”. Select which Chapter you’d like to listen to and just give it a few moments to swap over (the default will always play the most recent chapter’s song). Listen to them all and pick your favorite!

New Accessibility Mode
We’ve added a new pre-game screen, which appears prior to the login screen, that offers the option to select Accessibility Mode. When choosing this mode you will automatically be swapped to use the Gamepad UI, but the keybinds will be adjusted for whatever input is being used (keyboard or gamepad). If you decide you don’t want to use this, you can disable in the Options menu.

You are now also able to move around all pre-game UI screens and elements using only digital inputs (such as keyboard or D-pad keypresses) or analog inputs (such a mouse or gamepad control stick).

We’ll be adding more accessibility options and settings in future updates, so stay tuned!

  • If you have already switched your Launcher to Spanish prior to the High Isle update, you will need to temporarily switch to another language and back to Spanish in order to properly launch the game in Spanish. This will only need to be done once and not every time the game is launched.

High Isle

  • You may be unable to use the Travel to Player feature to follow groupmates to the Public Dungeon Ghost Haven Bay, the Delve Shipwreck Shoals, or several quest-related areas in High Isle. These areas can still be accessed normally (walking to them and entering through the door) but you won’t be able to instantly teleport. This will be fixed in a future incremental patch.

  • Order of the New Moon:
    • Caska will no longer clip through Ranza if you elect to let her intimidate Kazann.
    • Fixed an issue with Trial Master Zayri so she properly despawns after leaving the balcony, instead of being very forgetful and coming back to the ledge. Maybe she forgot her keys?

  • All returned damage from player-sourced attacks, such as Spiked Armor or Cutting Defense, can now be blocked and dodged to help add counter play to these effects.
  • Fixed an issue where numerous abilities were not obeying Line of Sight.

Dragonknight

  • Ardent Flame
    • Combustion: This passive now has a cooldown of 3 seconds, up from .5 seconds.
      Developer Comment:

      Spoiler

This passive is enabling a lot of sustain in situations where you’re building around it with status chance increases, allowing the Dragonknight to sustain effortlessly with a few passive options. The class was originally meant to struggle more with sustain, with larger moments of burst with Battle Roar and Combustion procs peppered in. While we love the synergy here with some more niche gameplay elements like Charged and focusing on status effects, this passive was removing one of the core weaknesses of the class that kept it in check in many areas. As such, we’re increasing the cooldown in hopes to bring back some of the natural difficulty the class has with keeping the pedal to metal, while still being more viable than it was when its flames were more like embers.
    • Fiery Breath
      • Engulfing Flames (morph): Reduced the Flame Damage taken bonus on this morph to a maximum of 6%, down from 10%. The total sum of Weapon and Spell Damage needed to reach the cap remains the same.
    • Searing Strike
      • Burning Embers (morph): Reduced the healing value from this morph to up to 50%, down from up to 100%.
        Developer Comment:

        Spoiler

Right now, the healing values from this ability are enabling the Dragonknight too much staying power. While we want to retain the ability to reward the caster for going in and dotting up their foes, the raw damage and healing from this ability is simply too much in its current form.
  • Draconic Power
    • Dark Talons
      • Choking Talons (morph): Reduced the cost of this morph to 3510, down from 4050.
    • Dragon Blood
      • Coagulating Blood (morph):
        • This morph no longer reduces in cost, but instead increases the healing bonus based on your missing Health to 50%, up from 33%.
        • The healing bonus is now a true value, rather than an additive value.
        • Reduced the base healing of the skill by approximately 3% to fix some calculation errors.

        Developer Comment:

        Spoiler

This skill is currently enabling the Dragonknight to bounce back from near death situations a little too frequently, where its significant cost reduction compared to other burst heals of its nature is allowing it to be cast with reckless abandon. By taking away the cost reduction bonus on the morph, we needed to find another morph empowerment to ensure the skill felt like it was gaining something, rather than changing something. As the skill IS meant to bring you back from Death’s Door, we wanted to reinforce this with the execute scaling increase, but hopefully we see the frequency of returning from the brink a little less frequently.
    • Spiked Armor
      • Hardened Armor (morph): Increased the damage shield granted from this morph by 24%.
  • Earthen Heart
    • Obsidian Shield
      • Fragmented Shield (morph): Increased the duration of Major Mending granted from this morph to 6.667 seconds at base, up from 5 seconds. Don’t worry though, it’ll reach a nice whole number when you have your Eternal Mountain passive maxed out.

Necromancer

  • Grave Lord
    • Shocking Siphon
      • Mystic Siphon (morph): This morph now increases your Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery by up to 150 while it is active, rather than restoring up to 1260 Magicka over its duration.

Sorcerer

  • Dark Magic

      • Crystal Fragments (morph):

    • Eclipse
      • Living Dark (morph): This morph’s heal no longer scales with stats and instead heals for a base of 2000 Health when it triggers.
        Developer Comment:

        Spoiler

We’re taking away some of the insane values of healing that this ability can have when stacking high stats, and instead taking a safer route with a flat value to ensure any role of Templar can still engage with the skill, but with less powerful results at the high end.
    • Solar Flare
      • Dark Flare (morph): Reduced the cost of this morph to 2430, down from 2700.
  • Restoring Light
    • Rite of Passage

    • Feral Guardian

        • This morph now converts the damage to Bleed Damage instead of Physical, and each attack applies the Hemorrhaging status effect. Wild.

        • Reduced the duration of the stun to 3 seconds, down from 4.
        • Increased the duration of the stack counter to 3 seconds, up from 1.

        Developer Comment:

        Spoiler

Right now, this ability is offering too much offensive nature for the Warden, allowing them to line up their burst perfectly with Scorch to remove counter play. By increasing the stack count required, there should be less of a guarantee with this combination and require more reactive play from the caster, while the increased duration of tracking helps also reduce the ease of counter play by backing off for 1 second from the Warden to completely avoid the stun.
    • Crystallized Shield
      • Crystallized Slab (morph): This morph now also stuns the target upon dealing damage.
        Developer Comment:

        Spoiler

For the masters of Ice, Wardens are lacking a lot of hard control. Without giving them something too over the top to make them even more oppressive to melee attackers, we’ve opted to add in a reactive ranged stun option to help deter those ranged builds that naturally kite and hound Wardens.
    • Frost Armor
      • Expansive Frost Cloak (morph): Expanded the radius of this morph to 36 meters, up from 28.
    • Sleet Storm
      • Northern Storm (morph): This morph now grants 300 Weapon and Spell Damage for up to 30 seconds after casting, rather than up to 15% Max Magicka for 30 seconds. This should help the Ultimate be more impactful across play styles.

Weapon

  • Destruction Staff
    • Destructive Touch
      • Flame Clench (morph): Fixed an issue where this morph’s knock back visuals were not displaying on targets properly.
  • One Hand and Shield
    • Defensive Stance
      • Defensive Posture (morph): Fixed an issue where the passive bonuses from this morph could fail to apply in some cases.
    • Power Bash
      • Power Slam (morph): This morph’s passive, Resentment, now reduces the cost of your next Power Slam by up to 50%, rather than increasing its damage by 33%.
  • Two Handed
    • Reverse Slash
      • Reverse Slice (morph): This morph no longer deals damage based on its initial hit and instead deals damage to all targets around the initial.
        Developer Comment:

        Spoiler

This will allow the Area of Effect damage to be increased and decreased by bonuses, and to be calculated separately per target. It will also fix the issue where the damage continuously became weaker as it cascaded outwards, being diminished by each target’s defenses.

Armor

  • Heavy Armor
    • Heavy Armor Bonuses: Adjusted the bonus damage to Bash Attacks to grant 30 more damage per piece of Heavy Armor worn, rather than 3% more damage.
    • Unstoppable: Fixed an issue with this ability and its morphs where the snare could stack with other player snares.
      • Note that many monster sourced snares may still stack, as they care not for your petty rules and regulations. Their methods are beyond your comprehension.

World

  • Vampire
    • Bloody Frenzy:
      • This ability and its morphs now grant up to 5 stacks, rather than 10. The total Weapon and Spell Damage granted is left untouched.
      • The cost now increases by 360 per tick, up from 250, for Blood and Simmering Frenzy, while the cost for Sated Frenzy is now 300, rather than 200. This will result in an approximate 20% cost reduction for each morph.

      Developer Comment:

      Spoiler

Based on much of the initial feedback we saw over last update, we’ve decided to help this ability ramp up a little quicker to make it feel more aggressive and ravenous for the user, while slightly easing back on the risk of using it since the reward isn’t nearly as high as before.
    • Feed: This synergy now heals you to full Health after successfully casting on a target and feasting upon their life essence. Delicious!
    • Vampiric Drain: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs could be reflected despite being beams. Stop draining yourself!
  • Werewolf
    • Hircine’s Bounty
      • Hircine’s Fortitude (morph): This morph now grants Minor Endurance and Fortitude for 20 seconds after casting, rather than a unique amount of Health and Stamina Recovery based on the healing caused for 6 seconds.
      • Hircine’s Rage (morph):
        • This morph now also reduces the ability cost to 5063, down from 5737.
        • Increased the duration of the Major Berserk and damage taken to 10 seconds, up from 6.

Guild

  • Fighters Guild
    • Silver Bolt
      • Silver Shards (morph): Fixed an issue where this morph could sometimes fail to be recognized as a Stamina costing ability for certain proc conditions.

    • Fire Rune: Fixed an issue where the explosion from this ability and its morphs couldn’t be seen by enemies.

Warfare

  • Added the following stars to the Extended Might Constellation:
    • Exploiter (Returning): Increases your damage done against Off Balance enemies by 2% per stage. 5 stages, 10 points per stage.
    • Force of Nature (New): Increases your Offensive Penetration by 900 for each status effect your target has. 1 stage, 50 points.

    Developer Comment:

    Spoiler

We’re adding these nodes to help out two areas of feedback that are frequently brought up – Off Balance lacking oomph in organized groups as an impactful ailment, and a form of accessible Penetration outside of item sets for all those non-Light Armor builds out there.
  • Rebalanced the numbers and progression for a number of nodes:
    • The following nodes now grant 3% to their listed bonuses per stage, with 2 stages at 25 points per stage, rather than 2% with 5 stages at 10 points per stage.
      • Biting Aura
      • Deadly Aim
      • Duelist’s Rebuff
      • Enduring Resolve
      • Ironclad
      • Master-at-Arms
      • Thaumaturge
      • Unassailable
    • Backstabber: This node now grants 2% Critical Damage per stage, down from 3%.
    • Cutting Defense: This node now scales off the higher of your Physical or Spell Resistance, rather than your Max Health.
    • Fighting Finesse: This node now grants 4% Critical Damage and Healing per stage with 2 stages at 25 points per stage, rather than 2% Critical Damage and Healing with 5 stages at 10 points per stage.
    • Occult Overload: This node now deals 2560 Oblivion Damage per stage with 5 stages at 10 points per stage, rather than 2000 Oblivion damage per stage with 2 stages at 25 points per stage.
    • Riposte: This node now increases the damage done of your next direct damage attack by 33%, rather than dealing 4800 flat damage to your attacker.
    • Wrathful Strikes and Rejuvenator: These nodes now grant 41 Weapon and Spell Damage to their effects, up from 33.

    Developer Comment:

    Spoiler

Currently, many of the slotted stars that don’t require much engagement are significantly stronger than many of their more unique counterparts. Rather than introducing an arms race and injecting power creep to the system, we’ve targeted the outliers to draw back some of their impact to make them more in line with where we expect while giving a tiny bump to some other stars.

Ability Altering Weapons

Dungeon & Arena Sets

  • Draugrkin’s Grip: This set now increases all of your damage done by 330 and reduces your healing taken by 10%, rather than causing your direct damage attacks to cause enemies to take 617 more damage from your attacks for 6 seconds, once every 9 seconds.
    Developer Comment:

    Spoiler

This set has long been a staple set of providing an immense amount of sustained damage with some builds in single target, where stacking sources of minor damage caused the set to multiply in power to a staggering degree. While we like the gameplay that the set was enabling before to help attrition builds push out some damage, its application felt too overwhelming in single target and the reverse in Area of Effect. In addition, attrition builds naturally deal less damage and are harder to kill, so gaining a source of power with no scaling requirements or drawbacks created a situation where it was too powerful on bruisers, such as Dragonknights and Necromancers. The ability to apply to all damage at a lesser extent helps it bring some power to Area of Effect encounters while also reeling back some of its single target pressure, while the healing debuff ensures that even tank builds feel a bit of a bite in their ability to stay in the fight.
  • Elemental Catalyst: This set’s visual effects are now only visible to the wearer and enemies, to reduce the massive amount of battlefield clutter it could add to group encounters.
  • Glorious Defender: This set now causes you to dodge all attacks made against you the next time you would have been hit for 1 second, rather than only one attack.

Monster Masks

  • Kargaeda: Fixed an issue where the damage from this set was not properly scaling with Area of Effect bonuses.
  • Maarselok:
    • This set now dynamically scales with the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage, rather than only your Weapon Damage.
    • The damage from this set now increases by 10% per negative effect, up from 2%, but has a cap of 300% rather than no cap.
  • Spawn of Mephala: Fixed an issue where this set’s visual effects could fail to appear.
  • Tremorscale:
    • Increased the duration of this set’s effects to 15 seconds, up from 8.
    • Increased the cooldown to 10 seconds, up from 8.
    • Increased the damage done by approximately 4%.
    • This set now reduces the Armor of the enemy by 8% of the higher of your Physical or Spell Resistance, rather than reducing it by a flat 2395.
  • Zaan:
    • This set now applies a tether to the target that damages all enemies touching it, rather than a beam that only hits one target.
    • Reduced the base damage by approximately 52%.
    • Increased the duration of the set to 10 seconds, up from 6.
    • Increased the cooldown to 20 seconds, up from 18.
    • This set now has a guaranteed chance to apply Burning.
    • This set now requires a critical Light or Heavy Attack, rather than just a Light or Heavy Attack. Note that the proc chance remains the same.

    Developer Comment:

    Spoiler

After the adjustments in Update 32 to allow proc sets to critically strike when applicable, Zaan has fallen off course considerably despite its intense requirements for low mobility stationary encounters in PvE, while remaining relatively powerful in PvP when paired with crowd control and roots. Rather than merely increasing the damage or enabling Critical Strikes, we’ve decided to take some upfront damage away and put it into only long-term encounters in cleave situations, while giving it some cool synergy with the feel of the set, melting your enemies when they don’t respect the flames. In addition to this, we’ve added a little more variance and chaos to the set to make sure it feels less reliable and more like of a window of opportunity that you must quickly adjust to.

Mythic Items

  • Harpooner’s Wading Kilt:
    • Reduced the duration of the stacks granted from this set to 20 seconds, down from a minute.
    • Reduced the Critical Chance granted per stack to 110, down from 125.

    Developer Comment:

    Spoiler

We’re toning down the duration of this set to reinforce the need to stay in the fight and help this set become slightly more contextual than it is now, as it’s overshadowing a lot of other Mythic items in power and use by a significant margin. The reduction in Critical Chance isn’t huge but also helps shorten the gap ever so slightly against other options.
  • Shapeshifter’s Chain: This set now also reduces the cost of Werewolf active abilities by 15% to help it stand up in power for all transformation Ultimates.
  • Spaulders of Ruin: Fixed an issue where this set could activate when the wearer died.

Overland Sets

  • Shadow Dancer’s Raiment:
    • This set now causes you to dodge all incoming attacks within 1 second after leaving Stealth or Invisibility, with an 8 second cooldown, rather than causing you to ignore the Movement Speed penalty of Sneak.
    • This set no longer grants an extra 129 Stamina Recovery on its 5 piece bonus.

PvP Sourced

  • Hrothgar’s Chill: Fixed an issue where this set would not proc off the stun from Heavy Attacking an Off Balance target.

Silent Hill Unreal Engine 5 Fan Remake Gameplay Features Midwich Elementary

While Konami is taking its sweet time in announcing new games in the Silent Hill franchise, the indie devs over at Codeless Games Studio has taken it upon themselves to remake the original Silent Hill released way back in 1999! Remade using Epic’s new game engine, check out the Silent Hill Unreal Engine 5 fan remake gameplay demo to see how it’s shaping up!

The footage features Midwich Elementary School, which is possibly one of the original Silent Hill’s most iconic locations. We can see protagonist Harry Mason walking around the area, shooting up monsters, solving puzzles, and basically doing what someone does in a haunted elementary school.

Note that this is not an offical game by Konami, so don’t expect any major announcements, game teases and the sort with this one. Of course, this is also a good look at how impactful the original game and franchise has been to gamers, as even indie devs are getting around to making their own version of the game if Konami won’t.

The original Silent Hill was released way back on February 23, 1999 on the original PlayStation, and was developed by Team Silent. While Konami pushed for sequels to the horror franchise (which was standing toe to toe with Capcom’s super-successful Resident Evil franchise), the last game in the series was Silent Hill: Book of Memories, which was an RPG that was released for the PlayStation Vita back in 2012.

Would you want to play the original game remade in Unreal Engine 5 like this? Let us know down below.

Someone Just Made the Original DOOM Playable on a LEGO Brick

For all the DOOM fans out there, it now appears that you can play the original DOOM on a LEGO brick! In the past, we’ve seen people running DOOMon all sorts of gadgets such as toasters and refridgerators, but on something as small as a LEGO brick? Yeah, not so much.

This miniature gaming device was crafted by James Brown — a person from New Zealand who’s just “making things” (his words not ours).

https://twitter.com/ancient_james/status/1538651525945630720?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

https://twitter.com/ancient_james/status/1534011294697033728

The Twitter thread goes on to show how James played DOOMon it, though the experience seems to be far from ideal. James reiterated the same and highlighted that this was attributed to the small screen.

He further indicated that the tiny screen only had a 72×40 resolution, which was way below par. To counter this, an adaptive histogram equalization is required, as it will help flatten the dynamic range as well as add some noise.

On the thread, Lewis Gerschwitz also inquired from James: “have you considered putting something like this in a Mechanical Keyboard Keycap? Be harder to power than the brick but I think it could look incredible.” He said that it was something that he was currently working on. This means that there are still more avenues to explore as far as playing this entry is concerned.

COD Warzone Fortune’s Keep Map Deep Dive Guide Showcases Key Areas

In case you didn’t know, Call of Duty Warzone will be getting a new map this week with the launch of the Fortune’s Keep map in Season 4! To help players through it, Activision has pushed out a COD Warzone Fortune’s Keep map deep dive that goes into the areas of interest and more.

COD Warzone Fortune’s Keep Map Deep Dive Guide:

A Grand Tour of Fortune’s Keep

Nobody spoke of an alleged mercenary hideout in the Mediterranean — most likely because they ended up captured or dead. But with recent intelligence, our Operators uncovered the lavish Fortune’s Keep, a smuggler’s paradise complete with a medieval barracks of historical interest, a massive winery, and a bustling yet quaint village by the sea.

“Fortune’s Keep is a completely original map inspired by real world locations in the Mediterranean,” Krystek explained. “We wanted this map to be timeless and feel like it could be a real location that you could visit. Narratively, there is also some great contrast in having an area that was once used to fight against pirates now taken over by a group of mercs and smugglers.”

The island is about the size of Rebirth Island and is suitable for lobbies of up to 40 players in Resurgence. Outside of fellow and hostile Operators, there are other threats to face on the island, such as mercenaries who occasionally attempt to extract Gold.

Although the map breaks down further notable landmarks and areas, there are four main point-of-interest sectors: the Town, Smuggler’s Cove, the Keep, and the Winery.

Town

The first main point of interest, working from west to east, is the coastal Town.

This densely packed community has it all: an old fortress bell tower, apartments with a bright and open aesthetic, bars, restaurants, a pier, a gazebo (nonhostile), and a mysterious graveyard…

Cobblestone alleyways and long-abandoned stairwells make for tight close-quarters battle (CQB) situations.

Swift and precise movement could separate elite players from the pack here, as it’s possible to parkour across rooftops and into windows, and take some mind-bending routes around the area to avoid the circle collapse or surprise a squad from different angles.

However, taking a trip on the rooftops means potential exposure to long-range weaponry: be mindful of long sightlines well above sea level, as well as around the gazebo and in the Graveyard.

Smuggler’s Cove

Once the site of many a cannon-heavy sea battle, Smuggler’s Cove upholds its reputation for stockpiling illegally sourced cargo within deep Sea Caves. This entire area is where you’ll find a breathtaking grotto, collection of humble fishing shacks, a pirate Radio Station on the bluffs, and caches still rumored to be scattered around the shore…

From above the sea level — whether from the infiltration plane, Resurgence hold, or the Keep and Winery areas — Operators can choose to drop through several cavernous holes that lead straight down to the Sea Caves. Alternatively, they can pilot a helicopter through them or just enter the hollow tunnels from the bay and shoreline.

The most secluded of the four main points of interest, Smuggler’s Cove is where you can sacrifice mobility for more secluded routes around enemies and away from the circle collapse.

Outside of the cove itself, the caves have numerous two-dimensional routes, with the only big verticality areas being obvious holes in the map and a Lighthouse toward the Winery. That nautical tower is a potential counterplay position against enemies to the north; otherwise it is great for stocking up on items before rotating east.

This area is designed to have plenty of guaranteed Gas Mask placements and clear arrows displaying the nearest exit… But it also has the highest density of explosive gas canisters and an Occupation Scan device in the Radio Station, which can draw attention just as much as it outlines enemies.

Keep

Fortune’s Keep takes its name from this medieval monolith of a landmark.

Built centuries ago, the map’s largest point of interest is a glorious hotbed for gold and trouble. From ambushes in the grand banquet hall to parapets of ramparts and lofty watchtowers, a squad that controls the Keep could easily control the match — that is, if the circle collapse doesn’t roll over it and all challengers to the castle are quelled.

Sometimes, the best way into the Keep is through the front door, but most likely, squads will want to find smuggler’s passageways between its buildings and from other points of interest.

These tunnels, in addition to most buildings, are suitable spaces for close-quarters weaponry. Everywhere else, including the spacious halls and the rooftops, are prime locations for mid- to long-range weapons.

Winery

Like any great winery, the easternmost point of interest is one of the least structure-dense areas, opening up the natural island so that the Grenache grapes can root in the Mediterranean soil.

Of course, this wine business is a front for nefarious activity — the open cellar is stockpiled with loot, and that is just what can be found in plain sight. The rest of this area includes the north bay and a military camp to the island’s eastern border.

This area is the only one with access to two separate redeploy balloon options, along with multiple places to set up shop for sniping: the bell tower, rooftops, and the fermentation building. At a developer level, High Moon noted that the Winery complex mostly follows the “three-lane style” traditional level design: several large structures interconnected with hallways and a central courtyard.

It may be the tannins talking, but the Winery gets the best reputation for folklore and rumors, even if the other three areas have their own quirks. Before the Winery’s…uninvited tenants took it over, it was tradition for farmers and winery workers to toss a coin into the fountain at the start of growing season, hoping it would bring them a successful harvest.

And we don’t think we’ll have to worry about whispers of the cellar being haunted…yet.

Fortune’s Keep Black Market Supply Run and Cash Extraction Event

This new map is built for fast-paced, Resurgence gameplay. Outside of being a completely new playspace, Fortune’s Keep features two new key additions to Warzone: the Black Market Supply Run Contact and the Cash Extraction event.

Black Market Supply Run Contract

A lucrative yet chancy Contract that mixes a Supply Run with a Supply Drop, the Black Market Supply Run brings the mercenary’s powerful black-and-gold Buy Station into Fortune’s Keep.

Meant for mid to late game, this Contract will drop a Black Market Buy Station somewhere on the map after it is accepted. On their map, Operators must look for a yellow circle over an infinite-snake marker that shrinks as they get closer to the store’s location. The store also plays an audio cue that reveals its exact position.

After finding the store, the team who activated the Contract can exchange their Cash for one of many potentially tide-turning items. Afterward, any other squad on the map can use this Buy Station for a few minutes before it deactivates.

The least costly item, at a suggested starting in-game Cash price of $500 for Fortune’s Keep, is a Sequencer Grenade, which scrambles the enemy’s HUD and distorts audio like an EMP, as well as plays those infamous Numbers from that sleeper agent broadcast. Battle Hardened reduces the duration of these effects, and Stim injections immediately counter it.

Next are a collection of gold-plated [[REDACTED]] weapons — the only secret about them is that they are incredibly rare Weapon Blueprints. The Shotgun and Sniper Rifle cost less than the SMG, Assault Rifle, and Light Machine Gun, and all of them have their own uses around the island.

Last are three items that range from the mid-four to five figures: a Nebula V–loaded Minigun, the all-seeing Foresight, and a Specialist Bonus, which grants the Operator every Perk in Warzone. These do not come cheap, so either complete this Contract later in a match or pool together some Cash to get them.

Cash Extraction Event

Need Cash for that Black Market or for other reasons? The mercenaries occasionally perform a Cash Extraction, a public event that may happen multiple times during a standard Fortune’s Keep Resurgence.

When the event begins, the tac map will show a flashing gold circle and money bag icon. Simultaneously, a flare fires into the air to signal a helicopter that will rappel a black-and-gold bag down to the extraction site (similar to when a Contraband Contract happens). Near this bag, a squad of five agents — non-Operator mercenaries — will take up positions just before the drop.

Operators can eliminate these mercenaries and plunder the bag by interacting with it to get Cash, Ammo, Armor, and Equipment. However, be warned: these mercenaries have multiple reinforcement waves, and that’s on top of you not being the only Operator in the lobby who may want these rewards.

The event is over once the bag is completely empty, the helicopter is destroyed, or enough time has passed.

Caldera Updates — Storage Town and Armored SUV

Raven Software is bringing back a memorable piece of Warzone history, in addition to clearing out some overgrown areas, adjusting over a dozen points of interest all over the island, and adding a new vehicle.

And that’s just the tip of the spear when it comes to other gameplay adjustments to be revealed in their patch notes.

Storage Town

Back and ready for war, Storage Town is located between the Mines, Airfield, Village, and Dig Site.

The lockers, water tower, and central buildings are similar to how they were in the past (or, canonically, the future). However, because it is built on the side of a hill, this version of Storage Town offers solid sightlines to adjacent areas, rather than being caught between a massive swimming pool structure and other high ground.

Use the nearby hill to get a jump start across the rooftops, and dig through every last open container to find Supply Boxes and other items.

The two auxiliary buildings have their own lines of sight over the complex and nearby areas, with a Buy Station able to potentially spawn near the one closer to the Airfield.

Armored SUV (In-Season)

Need a boost?

The newest vehicle in Warzone is a four-passenger Armored SUV, with available means of defense for all squadmates inside or out.

In addition to two other passengers in the vehicle, the Armored SUV has a turret seat where one Operator can climb aboard to use a Heavy Machine Gun. This is extremely effective against other vehicles, although the Operator using it will be at risk to incoming fire moreso than their fellow passengers.

The vehicle’s driver, meanwhile, has access to a Nitro Boost. This gives this vehicle an immediate acceleration boost, great for clearing gaps, escaping trouble, or full sending into an engagement.

Check out the top 10 tips for the new map straight from the devs, too!

1. Fortune Favors the Curious. From knowing the tale of the farmer’s fountain to leaving no (grave)stone unturned, Fortune’s Keep is loaded with secrets. Notice where enemy Operators are trying to pull off unusual stunts, and investigate your surroundings often.

2. Golden Opportunities. Mercenaries left piles of gold in plain sight around Fortune’s Keep. Check the Banquet Table in Keep, the Winery’s Cellar, the Graveyard, the Town Docks, and other areas to potentially find some stacks.

3. Keep Out. Operators will want to defend the Keep from the fortress’s walls. Use Redeploy Balloons at the Grotto or on the coastal path from the Town to fly over the parapets and jump right into the action.

4. Fancy Footwork. The Town is a prime spot for learning parkour and jump spot strategies — notice small gaps between buildings, as well as objects like umbrellas and signs, to find new ways in, on top of, and around this bustling point of interest.

5. Wind Down at the Winery. High Moon developers suggested that the island’s eastern section is the least complex of the new point of interest. Newer players, or those looking to start slow but strong during a Resurgence game, may want to set their drop point near here.

6. See You at the Crossroads. A high-traffic area of the map is a four-way intersection between the Winery, Camp, Lighthouse, and Keep. It’s central to traversing the map quickly, but offers little cover and is highly visible, making it a risky route across multiple points of interest.

7. Escape Smuggler’s Cove. Especially during circle collapses, Operators can get easily trapped within Smuggler’s Cove and its intricate tunnel system. Use arrows painted on the cave walls to find the nearest exit, and be sure to pick up those free Gas Masks lying around.

8. Get Cash Before Visiting the Market. The Black Market Supply Run Contract offers a potentially game-changing strategy that only gets more lucrative with more Cash. Complete the Cash Extraction event and other contracts, or explore Fortune’s Keep to stack up those gold reserves before taking on this new Contract.

9. Same Storage, New Tricks. Storage Town’s new location in Caldera makes it a prime position for sniping adjacent areas such as the Airfield. Use your past knowledge of this fan-favorite area to scavenge for items; then take to the nearby cliffs or warehouse buildings to wrest control of this area.

10. You Got Boost Power! The Armored SUV’s most powerful weapon might be its turbo boost — use it to get out of open areas, escape intense engagements, or make long jumps to create shortcuts across Caldera.

There are also changes coming to Caldera, which you can check out right here.

Warzone Mercenaries of Fortune will launch on June 22! We’ll have the official patch notes posted on the site then. In the meantime, go check out the new stuff incoming right here.

Black Ops Cold War Update 1.032 Sneaks Out This June 20

Treyarch has rolled out the (Call of Duty) COD: Black Ops Cold War update 1.032 patch on all platforms, and this is in line with the launch of Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortunte for both COD Vanguard and Warzone! This is an unannounced title update, so don’t expect much outside of bug fixes and new cosmetics.

Black Ops Cold War Update 1.032 Patch Notes | New BOCW Update Patch Notes:

Size: 4GB

Treyarch has not released any official patch notes just yet, but here are some of the known issues the studio is looking at (via the official Black Ops Cold War Trello board):

BOCW Global Known Issues:

Scythe: Progress and Unlock Update

Description

Status: The Scythe melee weapon unlock challenges were unintentionally available for a short time on June 6th, 2022, and were then removed in an update later that morning. Players who unlocked the Scythe prematurely will also note that they will no longer have access to it in loadouts at a later date.

Unlock Progress:

  • Players who began the unlock process, but did not obtain the Scythe, will retain their previous challenge progress.
  • Players who completed the unlock process will be placed at 14/15 match completions for Multiplayer or 199/200 enemies killed in Zombies. As in previous scenarios, due to technical limitations with player inventories, this compromise will allow us to adjust inventories appropriately and establish a path of least resistance to obtain the Scythe at a later date.

Camo Progress: Players who previously unlocked the Scythe melee will retain their camo progress.

Scythe Release Date: The Scythe is currently scheduled to release later this year with timing subject to change. Make sure to follow Treyarch on Twitter for the latest news and updates.

Also of note, Treyarch has also promised new content incoming for Black Ops Cold War as well, though there’s no definite release date for it yet.

INCOMING BLACK OPS COLD WAR CONTENT

Our first batch of Black Ops Cold War content for 2022 arrived in March with the release of WMD, the Vargo 52 Assault Rifle, and the Ferro Fury Reactive Mastercraft Bundle. We were thrilled to see the outpouring of support for this content, and we’ve got more to come.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be releasing an all-new ranged weapon to take into Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, as well as a familiar face from the Campaign as our newest Operator. In Multiplayer, another classic Black Ops remaster will join the 6v6 rotation when we bring Jungle to the game. This one’s an absolute favorite of ours, and we can’t wait for you to experience it with everything Black Ops Cold War’sMultiplayer has to offer for the first time.

In the not-too-distant future, we’re planning to release a new Melee weapon for use in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. We’ll also have new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Finishing Moves, Calling Cards, Charms, Emblems, and other cosmetics arriving in a new series of Store Bundles throughout the months to come. In fact, our old friend Hudson should be getting some new threads any day now…

You can check out some of the new cosmetics that might (or might not) come to Black Ops Cold War with the launch of Season 4 right here.

Once the studio releases the official patch notes, or if we spot any gameplay improvements or bug fixes, we’ll be sure to update the post. Go check out the new stuff incoming to Warzone and Vanguard Season 4 right here.

The only patch notes we know so far come from the PS4’s update history. You can read the details down below.

  • General bug fixes
  • Gameplay and character tweaks

We will update this post if more detailed patch notes are released in the near future. The last update to be released for the game was patch 1.13 and this added the long awaited voiceovers. The game was pretty boring at launch when the characters weren’t able to speak!

The developer is sure to release even more updates in the future to further balance out the gameplay. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is out now for all major gaming platforms.
