New PUBG Xbox Update Hits Vehicles Hard With Nerfs

A new PUBG Xbox update has landed on the console, implementing a host of changes. The main focus of this patch, as seen in the entire list of gameplay tweaks below, is nerfing the vehicles. The developer is hitting transport incredibly hard with this patch, making them much more vulnerable.

Here’s the new PUBG Xbox update patch notes:

Gameplay

  • We’ve listened to your feedback and further modified the damage players can inflict on vehicles, increasing areas of vulnerability. This includes:
  • Increased damage to the vehicle body, and significant damage to the wheels when targeted with gunfire
  • Increased vehicle damage when successfully targeted with a grenade
  • Both driver and passenger will suffer increased injuries from crashing into objects or other vehicles (Dacia, UAZ, and Buggy)
  • Slight reduction to player damage when being struck by a vehicle

Optimization

  • Continued optimization to controller input lag
  • Visual quality of the reticle is improved for Xbox One (Red Dot, Holographic, and 2x Sight)

Bug fixes

  • Resolved issue where inventory may highlight the wrong column when looting
  • The sensitivity setting for 4x Scope is now also applied to the permanent scope on the VSS
  • Auto-run (double-clicking the left stick) is disabled when aiming down sights
  • Players can now use the D-Pad while in the map view without switching melee, pistol, or throwing weapons
  • Removing the marker from the map when pressing (Y) will no longer switch primary/secondary weapons
  • Fixed issue where the crosshair is not correctly displayed after players reconnect to a game session

It looks like players will have to start learning how to actually shoot, instead of just running folks over… Good luck with that, Xbox users!

In other PUBG news, Xbox has said that sales for the console version are “very big,” netcode analysis shows that the game has a big problem, and the Battle Royale Trainer is here to help players improve.

New PUBG Test Server Update Improves Miramar Desert Map, Updates Replay System & More

A new PUBG Test Server update is available to download and install on PC. It comes in at 4.8 GB, which is pretty damn huge. The main focus of this patch is to improve the Miramar map. The developers want to make the “engagement experience” more enjoyable. The replay system is also getting updated to a newer version.

Here’s the full list of patch notes for the latest PUBG Test Server update:

World

  • Miramar improvements
  • Added more buildings and cover across the map to improve the engagement experience
  • Added more off-road routes for easier vehicle navigation
  • Upgraded the item spawn level of certain areas for loot balancing (some areas will spawn better loot)

Replay

  • The replay system has now been updated to a newer version and past replay files cannot be played anymore

Bug fixes

  • Fixed the issue where heal and boost items could be used underwater
  • Fixed the issue where characters would get stuck in certain areas on Miramar
  • Fixed the issue where wall textures on some Miramar buildings were not displaying correctly
  • Fixed the issue where certain buildings near by Hacienda del Patron were not displaying correctly

You can expect this update to hit live servers soon. For now, go help test it out on the Test Server.

Cloud9 Become First North American CS:GO Team to win Major Championship

Cloud9 has become the first North American Counter Strike: Global Offensive team to win Valve’s Major championship, beating out the favored European superteam FaZe Clan to claim the title.

Many fans of CS:GO were left on the edge of their seat as Cloud9 mounted an incredible journey to finals, a feat only achieved once before in 2016, before managing to pull off a win against the team that was expected to take first place, FaZe Clan. In doing so, Cloud9 have shown that North American teams should no longer be considered below European teams in terms of skill, a long-held belief by many.

Cloud9 will take home a hefty sum of $500k in prize money, immense bragging rights, and will be put down as the first North American team in CS:GO to win a major championship. If you’d like to watch the heart-pounding action because you missed it, or you want to relive the spectacular moment, you can check out the highlights here.

Call of Duty: WWII Resistance Live-Action Trailer Breaks Out, Sledgehammer Teases “Flak Guns”

In case you didn’t, the first map pack for Call of Duty: WWII is due tomorrow! Called the “Resistance” DLC, it’ll add three new maps for the base game, a new War scenario, and a new chapter in the Nazi Zombies mode.

Continuing with the franchise’s surprisingly good live-action commercials, Activision has released the latest one, and yeah, it’s not bad.

Don’t forget, the Resistance DLC is only available tomorrow on the PlayStation 4, with the Xbox One and PC getting it 30 days after.

In other Call of Duty: WWII news, Michael Condrey, boss of Sledgehammer Games, posted a rather vague message on Reddit where he titles it “Grease Up Those Flak Guns” with the text “justsaying” in it. Yep, that’s it.

Grease Up Those Flak Guns
byu/Mcondrey inWWII

Is this a hint at the Flak Guns scorestreak being more usable now since Domination XL will be coming? Maybe a Headquarters event? Or maybe Condrey is just trolling. I guess we’ll know for sure tomorrow when the map pack drops.

Monster Hunter World Character Creation Reset Option Might Be Added If Enough Fans Want It

If you’re one of the millions playing Monster Hunter World, chances are you’ve created a character from scratch to be your avatar in the game’s lush, living world.

Well, what if, after hours of game time, you suddenly don’t feel like your character is the perfect embodiment of you? Sure, you can choose to have your helmet up for the entire time you’re playing but even so, what if you could do a Monster Hunter World character creation reset for your current character? It seems the folks at Capcom are considering it! This was revealed in a recent interview with Game Watch Impress at the Taipei Game Show 2018.

Game Watch Impress: About the character creator, while we can go into exceptionally high details for creating characters this time, the faces ended up looking a little different than expected. Are there any ways to redo it?

Ryozo Tsujimoto, Producer: You can’t redo it, but when making a character you can check their expressions, so you might want to do that first while making a character. However, if there’s enough demand for it then I’ll put it under consideration.

Yuya Tokuda, Director: You can change the lighting on the bottom-left. Using that, not only see what it’s like during the daytime, but you can also check the expressions and such for night. I think if you use that while making it, it might not be as off.

This is definitely a nice addition to have in the future. Bear in mind though, the studio has already promised us new free monsters post-launch, so the slaying won’t be stopping anytime soon.

In other World news, go check out the most popular weapons the community has picked so far. Make sure to read our review as well to see why we gave it an almost perfect score.

Monster Hunter World Most Popular Weapons by the Community Revealed

While Monster Hunter World is just a few days old, the action game seems to already be a hit among critics and consumers alike. If you’e World player, and curious whether your weapon choice is the same as the rest of the gaming population, here’s your chance to find out!

Over on Reddit, a poll was conducted where players get to vote on what their weapon of choice is! At the time of publication, the #1 choice seems to be the Charge Blade with 12.3 percent of the total votes, but the Insect Glaive (11.73 percent) and Bow (10.38 percent) aren’t far behind.

What weapon are you using now?

  • 12.3 % (949 votes)Charge Blade
  • 11.73 % (905 votes)Insect Glaive
  • 10.38 % (801 votes)Bow
  • 10.22 % (788 votes)Hammer
  • 9.36 % (722 votes)Long Sword
  • 8.57 % (661 votes)Dual Blades
  • 8.3 % (640 votes)Switch Axe
  • 8.19 % (632 votes)Great Sword
  • 4.28 % (330 votes)Gunlance
  • 4.03 % (311 votes)Sword And Shield
  • 3.82 % (295 votes)Lance
  • 3.25 % (251 votes)Heavy Bowgun
  • 3.01 % (232 votes)Hunting Horn
  • 2.55 % (197 votes)Light Bowgun

7714 total votes.

You can check real-time results over here to see how it fares along the days and week.

As someone who chose the bow after trying the other weapons, I’m kinda surprised it ranks that high. Who’d have thought everyone wanted to be Green Arrow or Legolas when taking down monsters instead of being a badass with a big sword, no?

Surprised at the results? What’s your weapon of choice in Monster Hunter World? If you’re on the fence on whether to pick it up, make sure to read our review, and see why I had this to say about, “If you like going up against bosses in games, and find that thrilling, then think of Monster Hunter World as Boss Fight: The Game. It’s one compelling boss fight after another, that’s sprinkled in with loot, crafting, and other RPG nuances that make the journey exciting even after the numerous missions. Monster Hunter World is one monster you’ll want to take home and nurture.”

Here Are Five Must-Know Tips for SOS, the New Survival Game

I’ve been playing a lot of SOS. It’s super addicting, and every round is a surprise. Following a weekend of play, I’ve put together a video detailing five must-know tips, which will help you survive the island and get the win.

Click “Play” to give it a watch!

For a quick rundown of what the game is about, check out the description below:

Congratulations, contestant!

You’ve been chosen to participate in SOS. An interactive game show in which you and 15 other contestants will be dropped onto La Cuna Island with one simple goal – Get the hell off La Cuna Island.

How it works is simple: Find a hidden relic, signal for extraction, and escape on the chopper. How to do it is hard: You’ll have to use your personality to build alliances, out-scheme opponents, and entertain the audience. Oh, not to mention avoid hordes of bloodthirsty monsters.

If you’re lucky enough to survive, you’ll be greeted with fame and fortune. And more importantly, you’ll still be alive.

KEY FEATURES:

SURVIVE THE SHOW – Contestants only have 30 minutes to find a relic, signal for extraction, and grab one of three spots on the rescue chopper.

REAL-WORLD VOICE RESTRICTIONS – Players must find and interact with other contestants to survive, but like the real world, they can only communicate with those within shouting distance.

BECOME A STAR – Harken back to the days of 90’s reality shows by setting up alliances, stabbing your friends in the back, winning the affection of viewers and becoming the ultimate star.

COMMUNICATE AND WORK TOGETHER – In SOS, a player’s voice and personality become their ultimate tools for survival. With limited resources and no long-range weapons, a player’s ability to buddy up with other contestants, share resources and know when to go it alone is key. Three people can escape the island, make sure it’s your group!

HERO PLATFORM INTEGRATION – Streamers have the ability to use Outpost Games’ Hero platform with SOS, giving them a new way to engage with viewers and grow their channels, while viewers can watch their favorite streamers play the game and become an interactive part of the experience like never before.

Don’t forget to check back regularly here on MP1st for the latest gaming news!

Rumor: Microsoft Might Be Looking to Acquire EA

It’s no secret these days that Microsoft has a little problem when it comes to software; namely, having enough exclusives to combat Sony’s PlayStation 4 games onslaught with titles like God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, The Last of Us Part II, and more.

Well, it seems Microsoft is indeed looking to shore up its software output, but it could be doing so at great cost for the gaming community. In a report by Polygon, the most “recent” acquisition murmurs the publication has heard (from a “reliable source close to Microsoft,” even), is that Microsoft is looking to acquire Electronic Arts, more commonly known as EA.

Some of the names being thrown around as possible acquisitions by Microsoft are, frankly, astounding, even unthinkable. But the fact that they are doing the rounds is instructive. The most recent one we heard (from a reliable source close to Microsoft) was, in fact, Electronic Arts. We also heard a whisper about Valve and about Korean outfit PUBG Corp., which Microsoft last year signed to a timed exclusive for its hit survival shooter, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

Important to note that Microsoft has a massive war chest of at least $130 billion, and given the market capitalization of EA is at $35 billion, well, you can see how this can work out financially.

Of course, treat this with a huge bag of salt right now. However, if this indeed come true, there’s a lot of repercussions that will be felt by the gaming community. Chief among them is not being able to play EA-published titles on any platform other than Microsoft’s. Sure, there’s a chance Microsoft will let the games from a Microsoft-owned EA be released on other platforms, but if that happened, it would kind of make the acquisition pointless, no?

Will this actually happen? For gamers’ sake, I hope not. While EA’s internal studios can splinter off and create their own thing, thus leaving Microsoft with the brands, that’s going to be a long ordeal.

Would you want Microsoft to acquire EA? If not, what steps can Microsoft take to bolster their first-party offerings?

Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Review – Audio Hack

While gamers can play multiplayer games with their TV speakers, more and more players are opting to buy and use proper headsets — and with good reason. Not only do headsets give off better sound quality than your standard TV speakers, they can immerse you in the action better as well. And if that’s not enough, some headsets can even give you an advantage in multiplayer too!

This is the case with the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 headset. Touting something it calls “Superhuman hearing” on the box, it’s said to give wearers an advantage by letting them hear enemy footsteps at a much larger audio footprint, and even the direction it’s coming from as well. Is it a gimmick? Does it work? Short answer to both is: yes, which we’ll talk about in a bit.

Specs Deck

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 for the PS4 (and Xbox One) is a wireless headset that has a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz using 50mm-sized speakers. The outer casing is made out of sturdy plastic, with the headband and ear pieces having foam cushioning in the inside layer.

It’s quite comfortable to use even after hours of constant gaming. It’s not heavy at all, won’t get your hair caught up in any crevice, and best of all, has an amazing battery life. I don’t have hard numbers, but the official product specs list the Stealth 600 as having 15 hours of use before it needs a recharge. While I can’t confirm the 15-hour battery life, It’s definitely more than 10 hours given it survived a week (five full days) of two-hour Call of Duty/Battlefield sessions from me and still have enough juice.

Recharging it is easy enough with the supplied charging cable, and yes, it will recharge even if your console is in rest mode.

For the mic, it’s super easy to use. Just flip it down to chat, flip it up to turn it off. You’ll hear an audible beep when it’s on or off. Regarding volume controls for both audio and the mic, it’s changed by sweeping the dials up or down, which might seem simplistic, but it gets the job done. Just don’t expect any digital or numbered marker to see what volume level you’re at. Rounding out the controls are the power button, and mode button, which can be pressed and held to toggle. The “buttons” themselves are built into the headset’s plastic casing, with visible markings for each, though contrary to the dials, I would have preferred buttons for these for a less clunky feeling.

Comfort and Performance

One thing I didn’t mention in the specs part that’s very much appreciated is how good the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 headset feels when wearing glasses. I’ve yet to feel the headset dig in, or have it weigh down my glasses during the entire time I used it.

For comfort, the padded ear cushions feel very comfortable, though they might soak up sweat if you’re playing in a hot environment. Rounding out the comfort features is the padded headband which also helps in making sure no hair gets stuck up there. Possibly the only minor gripe I have is the headset adjustment slider, which has the user pulling or pushing the headset bands until they find their preferred size. That said, once you sort it out, chances are you won’t tweak it over and over again, so it’s a minor annoyance at most.

When it comes to actually using the Stealth 600 headset, it’s a breeze. Just plug in the USB dongle, match it with the headset (super easy to do), and voila! Using the mic is as easy as flipping it down (as I’ve mentioned previously), and turning the knobs to adjust the volume. For those wondering, there’s no mute button, though you can easily mute both the mic and the audio just by spinning the knobs downward (faster than buttons, in my opinion).

Sound quality is fantastic based on the games I played it with, and there a four modes to choose from: Bass Boost, Signature Sound, Bass and Treble, and Vocal Boost. Personal preference for me is the Bass Boost, and it brings a new layer of immersion when playing audio-heavy games like Battlefield 1.

There’s no tinny, canned sound from the 50mm speakers, which I admit,  I was surprised given the price point.

However, I do have a few nitpicks and chief among them is the way the headset seems to overtake the console when booting up. By this, I mean, say you have your PS4 in rest mode, and the USB dongle for the headset is connected, once you wake up from rest mode, it’ll automatically output sound via the headset even if you haven’t turned it on yet. Simple solution is to unplug the dongle after use or turn the headset on and off again, but it’s still a nitpick regardless.

Also, while the build quality has been sturdy enough for me (I sometimes throw the headset to the couch or carpeted floor to test it), some might not like the overall plastic feel and make. That said, I value comfort and function over style, so it’s not a big deal for me.

Superhearing Hack

Some gamers might be checking out the Turtle Beach Stealth series for one thing and that’s for “Superhuman hearing,” and the big advantage it brings when it comes to gunfights.

If you’re looking for an affordable headset that will let you gain an advantage in multiplayer shooters, then the Turtle Beach Stealth series fits the bill. If that’s the only thing you’re after, then this is an easy buy for you.

The Superhuman hearing feature might sound like a marketing gimmick, but it honest-to-goodness works! Even for someone who’s not that big on relying on audio when it comes to shooters, I could easily tell if someone was near me or even the direction where they’re coming from (tested on both Call of Duty: WWII and Battlefield 1). Mind, I didn’t even use any “silent footsteps” or “make footsteps louder” perks but just relied on the headset’s innate feature.

Is it an unfair advantage? Maybe, but it won’t immediately turn you into a killing machine, though it will help in most instances where you’re trying to guess if there’s an enemy close to you or not.

Audio Slave

The closest headset I can compare the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 headset to is Sony’s PlayStation Gold Headset, which might look a lot sexier, but has an inferior build quality, and user interface when compared to the Stealth 600. If you’re looking for a good headset for the PS4 or Xbox One, then the Turtle Beach Stealth series is an easy buy. Add in that the 600 series is selling at just $99.95, then that choice is made a lot easier.

For those who want to pick it up for the “audio hack,” you’ll be glad to hear it works as intended. And for the rest who just want a competent headset at an attractive price point, then you just found your first must-buy video game hardware of 2018.

Pros:

  • Easy-to-use dials and features
  • Comfortable to use even for long stretches
  • Battery life can last for more than 10-12 hours of use on a single charge
  • “Superhuman hearing” works as advertised

Cons:

  • Plastic build quality might not be for everyone
  • Headset audio output hijacks console when waking up from rest mode or being turned on
  • Headset size slider could be less “click-y” and easier to use

Turtle Beach Stealth 600 series headset provided by manufacturer for review purposes. Used on PS4 Pro, played Call of Duty: WWII, Battlefield 1 a lot for testing purposes. You can find our Review Policy and Scoring System detailed here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Player Count Keeps Rising, Causes Suspicion Within the Community

I visit the Call of Duty subreddit on a daily basis, and constantly see updates about the rising Black Ops 1 player count. At first, I put it down to Xbox One backwards compatibility, and players who were returning to the original game in anticipation of Call of Duty 2018, which is rumored to be Black Ops IV. But then the player count started increasing further, to the point where I felt it couldn’t be ignored.

User Dragonborn7142 posted the most recent player count screenshot, showing over 160,000 players on Xbox.

That is an absurd number of people playing. Many believe this to be some kind of glitch, while others think it could be an Easter egg pointing towards a Black Ops remaster. (Yes, the latter is a bit of a stretch!)

Okay, I’m getting more and more confident that this is some sort of glitch. Yeah 100k is very abnormal, but the playercount keeps rising and rising and now it’s nearing 200k? Something is definitely up – MJIndian

It has to be broken. There is no reason for both the xbox 360 and ps3 player counts to be over 100k. Especially the ps3 version with no backwards compatibility – jtcamp

Maybe it’s an Easter egg for a bo1 remaster? That would be insane. – icecoldcoke319

We’ve reached out to Activision for more information. Stay tuned for any updates!

Earn £50,000 by Completing These Monster Hunter: World Real-Life Bounties

With over five million Monster Hunter: World players taking down creatures in-game, Capcom clearly feels it’s time to turn the difficulty up a notch. The publisher is now offering £50,000 to anyone that proves the existence of a mythical beast.

Judging the evidence will be cryptozoologist Jon Downes. If several people submit “comprehensive evidence,” then the £50,000 will be split between the winners.

Here’s the list of valid monsters:

1. Bigfoot

Bigfoot (also known as Sasquatch) is a monster from American folklore; supposedly an ape-like animal, usually walking on its hind legs that inhabits forests, especially those of the Pacific Northwest. There have been a number of films taken which are alleged to be of these creatures, but opinions on their veracity are massively divided.

2. Scottish lake monster (Loch Ness Monster)

Everyone has heard of the Loch Ness Monster; a dinosaur-like creature with a long neck and barrel-shaped body reputed to haunt Britain’s largest lake. But not only are all the eye-witness accounts of something else entirely, but similar creatures have been reported from other lakes in Scotland and Ireland, and even in Northern Europe, Siberia and North America.

3. Mongolian Death Worm

These creatures of the Gobi Desert are purportedly between two and five feet long (60 cm to 1.5 meters) and are thick-bodied. Mongolian Prime Minister Damdinbazar in 1922 described the worm: “It is shaped like a sausage about two feet long, has no head nor leg and it is so poisonous that merely to touch it means instant death. It lives in the most desolate parts of the Gobi Desert.”

4. Mermaid

Grotesque humanoid creatures with the torso of a human being and the nether regions of a fish have been described by mariners for many hundreds of years before Disney made them so popular. But real mermaids are far scarier than their cartoon counterparts. One Cornish church has a carving to commemorate an incident when a mermaid abducted one of the parishioners a few hundred years back. And – believe it or not – people sill report seeing such things to this day.

5. Earth Hound

A 19th century clergyman described “…a mysterious dreaded sort of animal, …believed to live in graveyards, burrowing among the dead bodies and devouring them.” Believe it or not, this terrier sized animal has been reported in remote Scottish graveyards until the present day.

6. Yeti/Almasty

Two superficially very similar, but very different monsters. Also known as the Abominable Snowman (a misnomer because it is not abominable, nor is it a man, and very rarely strays beyond the snowline) the yeti is a collective term for one of two or three different animals reported in the foothills of the Himalayas and surrounding areas. Described as a huge ape-like creature with dark fur (white yetis are only seen in cartoons) it is probably the best known real monster in the world. The almasty, however, appears to be far more human than any of the other creatures described herein. Almasti/Almas/Almasty have been reported across a huge swathe of central Asia, from the Caucasus mountains in the west to China in the east. Researchers believe that they may be a very primitive species of human.

7. Chupacabras

In 1995 there was a spate of mysterious animal killings on the outskirts of Canovenas in Puertio Rico. The perpetrator was supposed to be a peculiar, semi-bipedal beast with spines down its back. A local civil defence official, Ismael Aguyo dubbed it the Chupacabras (chupa: suck cabras: goats) to commemorate the grotesque creature’s first publically accepted meal. The sightings continue.

8. The flying snake of Namibia

There are five well known species of “flying” snake in southern Asia. They don’t actually “fly” but launch themselves into the air, gliding from tree to tree. But the largest is only four feet long. In the southwestern African country of Namibia, however, there are stories of a much larger creature, that is supposed to reach a length of 25ft, and has a shining scale in the middle of what would be its forehead if snakes had foreheads. The story is so credible, however, that even the legendary Marjorie Courtenay-Latimer, discoverer of the coelacanth, was interested in it.

9. Yowie

This is the only monster (as far as we know) to have been immortalised by confectioners as a chocolate sweet. It is also the name of a baffling ape-like creature from Australia. Baffling? Yes, because as far as we know there have never been any primates in Australia apart from man. So, if it is not a primate, what on earth is it?

10. Cornish Owlman

Ever since 1976 children – nearly always girls – have been reporting a grotesque, feathered bird-man in and around the churchyard of Mawnan old Church, near the village of Mawnan Smith in Cornwall. The sightings have been linked with various strange phenomena and even with a Phoenician cult which sacrificed small children to an owl god. It doesn’t get weirder than this one guys.

New Borderlands Game Will Feature Elon Musk’s Flamethrower

We don’t know all that much about the upcoming Borderlands game, with Gearbox Software and 2K Games remaining tight-lipped, for the most part. There have been hints that 90 percent of the studio is working on Borderlands 3, and Gearbox job listings for an “unannounced AAA FPS/RPG hybrid” have been spotted, but other than that, little is known.

However, thanks to a brief interaction between Gearbox Software’s president Randy Pitchford and Elon Musk, we now know of a weapon that will be featured in the new Borderlands game.

Elon Musk’s “The Boring Company Flamethrower,” which is currently going viral across various social media sites, and is available to pre-order for $500, will be making its way into the new Borderlands game.

Borderlands games are renowned for parodying real-life events, so I’m sure we’ll see a funny application for Elon Musk’s flamethrower. Maybe Tesla will get the spotlight, too!

What other weapons do you want to see featured in the new Borderlands game? Let us know.

Monster Hunter: World Sales Figures Show Huge Success, Smashing Previous Records

Monster Hunter: World has launched on PS4 and Xbox One, and the general consensus is that it’s a great game. We gave it a very high score in our review, and other outlets are singing its praises, also.

However, not all great games sell well. Some titles can release at a bad time, fail due to poor marketing, or go ignored for a variety of other reasons. Happily, Monster Hunter: World does not appear to be one of those games.

Since its January 26 launch, Monster Hunter: World has shipped over five million units. According to Capcom, that’s more units shipped in the first three days of launch, than any other game in the franchise. This includes digital downloads.

Taking a look at the UK charts, we see Monster Hunter: World sitting at the top, following by Dragon Ball FighterZ:

1 – Monster Hunter: World

2 – Dragon Ball Fighterz

3 – Call of Duty: WWII

4 – Fifa 18

5 – Grand Theft Auto V

6 – Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

7 – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

8 – PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

9 – Rocket League: Collectors Edition

10 – The Inpatient

11 – Assassin’s Creed Origins

12 – Pokemon Crystal Version

13 – Gran Turismo: Sport

14 – Crash Bandicoot N.SANE Trilogy

15 – Forza Horizon 3

16 – Super Mario Odyssey

17 – Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6: Siege

18 – The Sims 4

19 – Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2

20 – Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Monster Hunter: World is expected to launch on PC this spring. Keep on holding on!

Report: PS4 Users Are Downloading Monster Hunter: World for Free (Update)

Update:

The OzBargain listing has been marked as “Expired.” Congratulations to the lucky ones who got a free game! (Assuming you weren’t all lying!)

Original Story:

It seems like some PS4 users are having a very happy Monday, nabbing free copies of Monster Hunter: World via a multi-use voucher code.

The code has been posted on OzBargain, where it has received many comments verifying that it works, in addition to over 50 upvotes.

Thanks, it worked. – Hayness

Huh, I thought this might just be the digital deluxe upgrade but it’s actually the full game. Already bought it on launch day but it’s insane that this is not a one use code. – pakon29

its working for me and im downloading it now. But i doubt ill be able to keep it since it seems like a big glitch in the system. – peter369

Fingers crossed they don’t remove it! Thanks op, legend! – Shads

What a deal! Thanks OP worked a treat. I wasn’t sure if I had to be on the PlayStation itself to purchase using a coupon. I ended up just using my computers web browser via the PS Store and worked (had to select prepaid card – then pasted the voucher). – PR0r

According to the post, the code is for US accounts, and grants the Digital Deluxe version of the game.

However, it’s not been a total success, as many of the more recent comments are reporting error messages, and no free game.

It’s possible that the code was working, but has since been disabled. It’s also possible that this is a group trolling effort.
