Dead Dozen Is an Upcoming Multiplayer Horror Game That Pits Soldiers Against Zombies

Developer Fntastic has announced that it’s focusing on a new project called Dead Dozen. The upcoming horror game has survivors facing off against ghouls.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1BGqMlEHzk

DEAD DOZEN is a Multiplayer Action Horror Game where you turn into a ghoul after your death as a human. Loot, barricade and cooperate when you play as a Survivor or infiltrate, infect and eat your former human friends when you play as a Ghoul.

Dead Dozen is a 12-player based game. From what we can gather, one player will start off as a ghoul with 11 survivors. Slowly, one by one, players will fall victim, resulting in one survivor battling it out against 11 ghouls.

The aim of the game is to “no matter what, try to stay alive.” Playing as a survivor will give you free rein to collect loot, such as weapons, ammo and certain items to help defeat the ghouls. While in this mode, you’ll be able to obstruct doorways and other means of access to prevent Ghouls from reaching you.

While playing as a Ghoul, you aim to spread the infection and create terror among the survivors. Destroying “brittle walls” and other restrictions will get you one step closer to contaminating those around you.

Dead Dozen‘s upcoming alpha will release with a “core game loop,” and one multiplayer map.

The developers are planning to reveal a gameplay trailer this December, according to a forum post. The game is set to release January 8, 2018 in its alpha state.

You can purchase the First Infected Edition for $14.99 until November 30, or the Limited Supreme Edition for $39.99.

Fntastic has also announced that they sold their previous project, The Wild Eight, to publisher HypeTrain Digital due to some “internal conflict”:

This decision was very hard for us, because our team was hoping to always evolve the game. The Wild Eight is our debut project, it brought us first success and valuable experience. But nevertheless, because of internal conflict with partners within the company, we had to sell the project to the publisher, who is now successfully supporting the project. We will always love The Wild Eight, it’s in our hearts.

What do you think to this approaching horror game? Let us know below.

In other news, Call of Duty: WWII accidentally launched with double XP enabled, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford has said he’s “very much against” predatory monetization schemes, and an Overwatch movie is something Activision “would like very much.”

Star Wars Battlefront II Hero Unlock In-Game Prices Drastically Reduced, DICE “Fully Committed” to Community

Following news that it’d take 40 real-life hours to unlock Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Battlefront II that understandably made quite a few people upset, EA has now released an update on how Heroes can be earned in the game.

In an official post on the game’s website, Executive Producer at DICE, John Wasilczyk gave an update on how much Heroes will cost in the game. Note that by “cost,” I mean in-game currency (Credits) and not real-world money. According to DICE, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader can now be obtained for 15,000 credits (a 75 percent reduction), Emperor Palpatine, Chewbacca and Leia for 10,000 credits, and Iden Versio at 5,000 credits. Based on what the studio has seen in the early access trial happening now for Xbox One and PC gamers, DICE thinks this will make earning these Heroes an achievement, but one that will be accessible (read: doable) by all players.

Fans can look forward to the change today, as an update will be “loaded” into the game according to DICE.

Additionally, the studio is addressing the social backlash of Star Wars Battlefront II, and will even be doing a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) this Wednesday with “key leads” of the studio attending.

We’ve also been listening to how much you’re loving features in the game (Starfighter Assault, 40 player MP battles, Darth Maul lightsaber throws, etc.) as well as what you haven’t liked. We know some of our most passionate fans, including those in our subreddit, have voiced their opinions, and we hear you. We’re making the changes to the credit levels for unlocking heroes and we’re going to keep making changes to improve the game experience over time. We welcome the conversation.

For those of you already playing, thank you. For those of you looking forward to playing the Star Wars™ game you’ve been waiting for, thank you, too. The team is fully committed to listening to our community, continually adjusting the game, and providing even more great Star Wars content over the upcoming months and years of live service updates. More to come.

This is certainly a step in the right direction for Star Wars Battlefront II. Let’s hope this prevents other publishers from trying anything similar in the future, no?

Call of Duty: WWII US Matches Hosted on Dedicated Servers on PS4, “Encouraging” Results Says Developer (Update)

Update:

Sledgehammer Games boss Michael Condrey has given an update! Xbox One dedicated servers have also rolled out for US as well. No word yet on worldwide, though.

We’ll keep everyone posted if there are any changes.

Original Story:

Following news this weekend that Call of Duty: WWII dedicated servers have been turned off to fix the lingering connection issues with the shooter, Sledgehammer Games has given an update on the situation.

Over on Twitter, the official Sledgehammer Games Twitter account announced that US (NA) COD: WWII matches on PlayStation 4 have been hosted on dedicated servers, with tests being deployed on Xbox One “shortly.”

In case you couldn’t see the tweet, it reads:

DEDICATED SERVER UPDATE: US matches on PS4 have been hosted on Dedicated Servers. Results are encouraging and we will be deploying the test to XB1 shortly. Thanks for your patience – stability on dedicated servers remains our top priority.

Hopefully, dedicated server support will be available to everyone (worldwide) soon. Of course, that’s not the only issue plaguing COD: WWII currently. Sledgehammer Games even made a list of priority stuff that needs fixing ASAP. There’s supposed to be a patch released very soon that will fix some in-game glitches. Once it’s deployed, we’ll be sure to let people know.

Call of Duty: WWII – War Mode’s Most Useful Equipment

This time on Pixel Enemy, I’m sending out a PSA! If you’re playing Call of Duty: WWII‘s War mode, then please, please, please(!) use this equipment! It will help you and your team win more rounds!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zuMRYjesJQ

Click “play” on the video above to give it a watch, and be sure to leave any thoughts of your own in the comments below.

This is Mack, for Pixel Enemy, here with a public service announcement, of sorts. If you’re playing Call of Duty: WWII, and aren’t employing this tactic, then you’re not only letting yourself down, but also letting your team down, and likely contributing to a loss.

WWII’s War mode is a little different to anything we’ve seen before in Call of Duty, and it’s understandable that players may feel unconfident when trying it out the first few times. Having to complete multiple objectives and constantly switching classes to adapt to the new scenario, will be new to many players. And that’s all okay, so long as you learn quickly!

The tip I want every War player to know is this: Ensure you have a couple of classes at the ready which use the Smoke Grenade equipment. Using Smoke is key to winning several stages in War, and without it, the round just descends into a damn slaughter.

Don’t forget to check back regularly here on MP1st for the latest gaming news!

Destiny 2 Vault Space Is Too Limited for 100% Completion

Destiny 2 completionists have been stopped in their tracks, thanks to the game’s limited vault space. Those hoping to collect every single piece of equipment in the game, simply don’t have the room to do so.

Reddit user NotAnADC expressed his frustration, explaining how the 200 vault spaces provide just enough room for all armor sets, assuming the player fills their character slots and has nothing else stored in the vault.

This means collecting all armor and weapons (and shaders, class items, etc.) is completely impossible. Those wanting to maximize their enjoyment of Destiny 2, by making every weapon and armor drop count, are currently stumped.

There are 60 unique sets containing 240 different armors in the game (not including class items), the vault only has 200 slots.

Ok ok I know your character has 36 slots too, but that assumes that you aren’t storing any weapons/class items/shaders/etc.

Please increase the vault size. We bought the whole, “limited memory on the old consoles.” Don’t give us the same BS.

While we’re here, give us a way to display/swap our armor easily!

Users on NotAnADC’s Reddit thread have suggested that instead of additional vault space, it would be cool to see a complete list of weapons featured in the “Collections” menu. This is currently only used for Exotic loot, and it would be awesome to see it expanded.

Are you a Destiny 2 loot collector who is also experiencing frustration? Or are you more of a “just dismantle it and be done” kind of player? Let us know.

In other Destiny 2 news, the Curse of Osiris expansion got a new trailer and release date, the upcoming expansion will also increase the level cap, and the Destiny 2 Raid was beaten by a clan of deaf gamers

Star Wars Battlefront II Review Copies Do Not Feature Discounted Heroes

New rumors are going around suggesting that Star Wars Battlefront II review copies feature discounted Heroes, manipulating those scoring the game into thinking that the grind isn’t so bad. This is not the case.

The footage and screenshots showing Vader and Luke priced at 10,000 Credits, instead of 60,000, are from an earlier build of the game. During that time, Hero costs were not final.

Reviewers are seeing the same Hero costs as displayed in the Early Access version. This has been confirmed by a number of community members who have received review copies.

Rest assured that reviewers are seeing the same Hero costs as everyone else.

EA Achieves Most Downvoted Comment In Reddit History

The Star Wars Battlefront II release date of November 17 is fast approaching. Unfortunately, during what should be an exciting launch week, there’s a big elephant in the room dampening spirits and causing friction between developers and the gaming community.

The loot box and microtransactions systems are still causing an uproar, despite the efforts of developer DICE, who have been tweaking the system and communicating as best they can.

Clearly, for a large part of the gaming community, that hasn’t been enough. Over on Reddit, EA attempted to explain the high cost of Heroes, saying that “the intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes.”

The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes.

As for cost, we selected initial values based upon data from the Open Beta and other adjustments made to milestone rewards before launch. Among other things, we’re looking at average per-player credit earn rates on a daily basis, and we’ll be making constant adjustments to ensure that players have challenges that are compelling, rewarding, and of course attainable via gameplay.

We appreciate the candid feedback, and the passion the community has put forth around the current topics here on Reddit, our forums and across numerous social media outlets.

Our team will continue to make changes and monitor community feedback and update everyone as soon and as often as we can.

That response  now sits at -291,000 score, making it the most downvoted comment in Reddit history. Clearly the community wasn’t impressed!

Do you think EA’s response is worthy of the most downvoted comment? Or is the community overreacting? Let us know!

Sledgehammer Games Give an Update on Call of Duty: WWII Issues

To say that Call of Duty: WWII has had a rocky launch might be an understatement at this point. Players have experienced server downtimes, lost progression, glitched lobby screens and more. While Sledgehammer Games has mentioned that a new patch is supposed to drop today to fix the end of match disconnects (we found an impromptu fix, by the way), the studio has finally issued a statement to fans.

Over on the studio’s official site, Sledgehammer Games thanks fans for their continued support, and mentions they see “millions of fans play every day” that they know are frustrated with the on-going issues. Check out the important details of the statement below.

Our highest priority is to deliver the best online experience possible. We’re not there yet, and we won’t rest until we are.

Our entire team is working around the clock, and we would like to share our current status update:

Online Connectivity – While our previous Game Update which released early Friday solved several critical needs, unfortunately it also had an adverse effect on server performance.  As a result, we moved to P2P (listen) servers.  Overall, the game is stable, however we know that P2P brings things like Host Migrations and other issues that make for inconsistent gameplay experiences. Our objective to return to dedicated servers is our highest priority.

Dedicated Servers – This weekend we rolled out various test solutions in limited markets in order to fully analyze real-world conditions without risking disruption. This level of data and diagnostics is helping us work toward a permanent solution as quickly as possible.  We’ve begun to test dedicated servers today in the US. We’ll watch this test closely, and once we analyze the results we’ll look to expand.

Game Disconnects From Server – After much testing, our engineering teams identified the root cause of this issue, which can also result in lost stats and post match lobby freezes.  Later tonight, we plan to deploy a patch across both consoles worldwide. We’ll monitor the results, and keep everyone updated.

Headquarters – As we focus on the return to dedicated servers as our highest priority, we will continue to utilize a solo-HQ experience.  Players can still invite friends, which we encourage everyone to try.  But we get it, HQ is best enjoyed with a thriving, fully populated social community interacting together. So hang in there while we address the most pressing concerns first.

We also want to reinforce our commitment to PC fans. We have the next PC Title Update ready to go, but we believe we need to work through the issues noted above first – many of which also affect PC players. For this reason, we’ll wait a bit longer before deploying the patch to the PC in order to ensure everything is the way it needs to be first.

This is definitely a step in the right direction. Let’s hope that aside from the technical issues, Sledegehammer Games also implements the changes from the beta that it promised will be in the final game (but are not).

Are you happy with Sledgehammer’s current update? What other important issues have they failed to list down?

In other COD: WWII news, we posted an Infantry Division guide earlier today. There’s also a super funny glitch that has players racing while they’re sitting down (not joking!).

Star Wars Battlefront II: DICE Issues Statement Regarding Credits Grind for Unlocks, Progression Iteration Coming at Launch

In case you haven’t read it yet, a Reddit user compiled and calculated how much time it would take for players to unlock Darth Vader and other high-profile Heroes in Star Wars Battlefront II. Let’s just say, you won’t be playing as these iconic characters for quite some time — unless you’re willing to pony up some real-world cash to expedite the process.

Understandably, a lot of people were upset about this, and with good reason. EA has previously released a statement that talks about an updated progression system to prevent a pay-to-win scenario from taking place, and it seems it’s still that way for the final version. We’ve posted the entire statement in full, which you should read below.

Over on the Star Wars Battlefront II subreddit, DICE Associate Design Director Dennis Brannvall posted a lengthy explaining the actual grind, and mentions that the progression system will be getting “another iteration” at launch on November 17 (currently, the game is available as a timed early trial for Xbox One and PC gamers).

Hey all,

Apologies for not being more active these past weeks leading up to launch – as you know things get really hectic and you tend to spend whatever spare freetime you have recovering. I really regret not being here on the subreddit at the start of the early access. Hopefully some of these replies will bring some clarity and hope.

  • Performance during games will affect the amount of credits you get at the end of a match.
  • Matchmaking will take into account not only player skill, but also total gametime and rarity of star cards. This means that you will be matchmade with players with an average performance similar to you and (to the largest extent possible) not against players who are much better than you, whether by having higher rarity cards or by showing higher skill.
  • Heroes that are locked at launch will only be unlocked with credits, not crystals. The heroes, similar to the locked weapons for Troopers, are sidegrades instead of upgrades (Darth Vader should be on similar power level as Darth Maul, etc). The goal is to keep you playing for a long time and have something cool to look forward to as you earn credits.
  • Speaking of earning credits, we’re constantly evaluating and tweaking the earn rates versus the cost of crates and heroes. The current rates were based on open beta data, but you should expect us to constantly evolve these numbers as we hit launch and onwards. There will also be more milestones that award credits and crafting parts available, as well as star cards only unlockable through those milestones. If all you want to do is play and grind towards your next unlock that will be fully possible and we’ll continue to tweak the numbers until the requirements feel fun and achievable.

Working on a game with a live economy and without a premium content lineup is a new challenge for us at DICE. We had one progression system in the closed alpha and heard your feedback back then. We made another iteration for the open beta and heard your feedback then too. For launch, we’re having another iteration and there will definitely be more iterations as we evolve this game post launch.

Your continous feedback as you play the game is absolutely invaluable and I encourage you to keep sending it our way. There is really no reason to “rebel” against us – we want this game to be as great and enjoyable as it can be – we’re reading all your feedback and working as fast as we can to adjust the game to your liking.

The dev team will be around Battlefront II for a long time. I sincerely hope you’ll be here with us!

Thanks,

Dennis

First off, kudos to DICE for tackling this head-on and not just hiding from the public eye until release and waiting for things to flame out. That said, let’s hope the grind isn’t really this long, since game-changing items, characters, etc. should never take that long to unlock. Maybe make it so it’s cosmetics that are the carrot-on-a-stick hook for high-level players?

Whatever the case might be, let’s hope DICE can sort it out for the betterment of the game, since Battlefront II’s loot crates are starting to overtake the actual game, which is a shame given what we’ve played so far have been fantastic

What changes should DICE do in order to prevent the backlash? Implement a Season Pass again and take away loot crates? Or maybe just have cosmetics behind loot crates and leave all meaningful progression items via character levels? Share your thoughts in the comments below, and let’s get a discussion goin.

Call of Duty: WWII Down on PS4, Says Service is Unavailable at This Time

If you can’t connect to Call of Duty: WWII right now, and you’re on the PlayStation 4, it’s not you, but the game seems to be having connectivity issues as we speak.

Checking now, error code #65568 shows up for me and the usual :The Call of Duty: WWII service is unavailable at this time. Please try again later or visit http://www.callofduty.com/wwii/status for updates.”

On Activision’s support site, it lists the PS4 version as having an “outage” with the message, “We’re currently experiencing connectivity issues. This incident is under investigation.” The official Sledgehammer Games Twitter account has not mentioned anything so far. Once we know what’s up, whether other platforms are affected, we’ll be sure to update the post.

Could this downtime be for the upcoming COD: WWII patch set for today? Maybe dedicated servers are finally being switched back on? While you’re waiting for online services to resume, go check out this funny glitch, or read up on our Infantry Division class guide.

Worst Battlefield Game Features Compiled: UCAV, Mortar & More

Battlefield is a franchise which has never been afraid to really shake things up. The games have been set in the future, the past and the modern day. In each era, we’ve seen some fantastic gameplay mechanics used to give players many options in battle. However, we’ve also seen some less awesome features make it into Battlefield titles; features that make us question what exactly the developers were thinking.

YouTube user DANNYonPC has put together a list of the top 10 silly additions to Battlefield. These include the UCAV, the mortar, lock-on and more. Oh, and rest in peace to C4 and all of those epic stunts!

Check out the full list, complete with gameplay examples, in the video below:

If you’re a keen Battlefielder, be sure to let us know which features you find the most silly! Or, if you’ve got a favorite gameplay mechanic which you’d like to highlight, tell us that in the comments instead.

Call of Duty: WWII End of Round Disconnect Glitch Fix, Patch Incoming Today

If you’ve been playing Call of Duty: WWII since launch, then you know there’s a few bugs still festering the game. One of these said bugs is being disconnected after every match, which leaves some players in doubt on whether their stats or XP registered (more on that later).Rejoice! There’s an impromptu, unofficial fix that you can do right now!

Thanks to ResetEra forum member “angel,” we seem to have found a way to stop this little annoying bug from happening, and it’s super simple! Ready? Just clear all your challenges! Delete or “abandon” your Daily and Weekly Orders, Contracts, etc. After testing it, I can confirm this works. Check out the video below to see how it showed a discon screen, but transitioned to a regular end-of-match recap.

It’s not ideal since you’re missing out on XP and Supply Drops from the various challenges, but at least you can now see the end-of-round screen and confirm that your stats and progress have registered.

Speaking of progress, we also have video confirmation that even if your game disconnects after the match, you still keep the XP! Check out the before and after stats as evidence.

Finally, Sledgehammer Games boss has mentioned on Twitter that a patch is coming today to fix this nagging issue! Hopefully, it comes with a few other fixes as well.

That’s good news, right? While we wait for the official patch to fix the discon issue (and hopefully, a few other bugs as well), try out our suggestion to know exactly what you earned per match, and just to avoid seeing endless black screens.

Have you encountered a COD: WWII issue we haven’t reported on yet? If so, email us about it.   Once the patch hits, we’ll be sure to let people know ASAP.

Track Enemy Footsteps In Upcoming Battle Royale Game “The Darwin Project”

With battle royale experiences like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite Battle Royale already out and growing at a rapid rate, upcoming games in the same genre really need to offer something different in order to stand out.

Introducing The Darwin Project, coming to PC and Xbox One, which aims to make encounters as frequent as possible. In order to encourage interaction, developer Scavengers Studio will be adding mechanics that allow players to track one another.

Campfires are one way that players can locate enemies. Fires are required to keep the cold at bay and prevent freezing to death, but they also produce smoke and alert enemies to the location.

The snow makes footsteps visible, giving players a clue as to which direction enemies are heading in. Remaining on a player’s trail for long enough will cause their outline to be spotted, which can be seen through walls.

Players who craft new items will leave “clues” behind, and powerful maps will provide the real-time location of an enemy.

If you want to try out these features, you’ll want to pay close attention to @ScavengerStudio on Twitter for closed alpha opportunities.

For a better look at the game, check out this 4K trailer:

Call of Duty: WWII Glitch Lets You Race Around on Your Backside

Call of Duty: WWII hasn’t had the most stable of launches. Server issues have plagued the game for over a week now, and players are becoming pretty impatient with the lack of support. Even the new patch did little to reassure the community.

Happily, there’s an upside to WWII‘s lack of polish. Over on Reddit, user faded4898 posted a .gif of him and friends racing around the Headquarters. What makes this so hilarious, is that each player is speeding around while using the sitting animation.

Check it out:

How exactly you do this is explained by faded4898 in the comments:

“After doing the sitting emote, if you hold the W and C keys then you start to glide around like in the gif
EDIT: And yes it works on console too, after sitting down move forward and crouch at the same time. It might be hard at first, it’s all about timing” – faded4898

Give it a try on your next trip to the Headquarters! Let us know if you succeed!

Call of Duty: WWII Infantry Division Tips and Guide

Following our Call of Duty: WWII Airborne guide that seems to be well received by our readers (based on data), we now take a look at the Infantry Division, or otherwise known as the Assault Rifle class.

In this quick class guide, we talk about general tactics, what guns to use, what Basic Training Perks come in handy and why. Think of it as a beginner’s guide of the Division along with a few handy tips for vets.

General Tactics:

  • Know your distance of engagements: don’t try to take on an SMG up close, or you’ll be at a disadvantage just on the fire rate alone; at the same time, don’t go battling snipers, either. Sure, you can win both gunfights, but you’re fighting at a disadvantage right off the bat.
  • Use your Assault Rifle with the Division that suits your playstyle. Want to run and gun? Use the Airborne Division with your preferred rifle and so on.
  • Remember to “panic melee” given the rifles have bayonets attached. What’s panic melee? It’s when the player mashes the melee button whenever someone sneaks up to them up close. It worked in past COD games with one-hit kill knife attacks, and it works again in COD: WWII for guns with bayonets.
  • Assault rifles are usually the best guns in any multiplayer game, due to their versatility. Remember it, go with it.
  • If you like a particular but find that it needs a buff, don’t forger that some attachments do that. The M1 Garand is infinitely better once you unlock the Rapid Fire attachment to it.
  • Some of rifles have decent iron sights, so save that spot to put in Advanced Rifling or something more important.
  • Don’t forget to use the headglitch spots that are perfect for rifles. Head glitch spots are cover that covers a significant portion of your character’s body, but for the enemy, they can only see your head. Rifles are peter for these engagements due to their range, modest recoil, and son.

Which Weapon to Use?

Note that these are all suggestions and should not be taken as fact.

This is a toss-up. While we named the FG-42 as the best gun in the game, it got hit wit a nerf, and truth be told, the other guns aren’t bad, either. However, the FG-42 is still a beast in the proper hands. It has an insane three-hit kill range, low recoil, and decent iron sights.

For those who want little to no recoil, decent iron sights (that means an extra attachment spot for something else!) might want to consider the STG44. It’s unlocked early on, has the easiest recoil to control for its class, iron sights might be the easiest to use too, and a fantastic fire rate. It’s easily one of the most popular guns and it’s easy to know why. Check out the stats below.

Finally, we have the BAR, which got hit with a major nerf (as expected) given how easy it is to use. It’s still a viable option, thought be cautious when meeting enemies head-on given its decreased rate of fire. More and more people are using the BAR given its fast fire rate, above average damage, and moderate recoil. It’s only drawback is the magazine, though it can easily be remedied by the Extended Magazine attachment.

With these three weapons, it all boils down to personal preference, but for a gun that has virtually no weakness at all, the STG44 wins.

The FG-42 has a super slow fire rate, but can three-hit kill anyone on almost the entire map. Give each one a go, and see which one suits your playstyle best.

Which Basic Training to Equip?

Same as the guns, this one boils down to personal preference. I’ve mostly stuck with the Hustle (fast reload) Basic Training since I have a habit of hitting reload whenever I get a kill, and it’s just dead useful when you run out of ammo and need to pick a gun up (since you can reload any gun fast).

For those who prefer to be aggressive but not be penalized by deaths when it comes to scorestreaks, use the “Requisitions” Basic Training (remember to choose the proper high-powered streaks first before starting the match!), or the Ordnance perk to re-roll Care Packages and have scorestreaks be cheaper.

Those who want to go overboard on gun attachments and want gun flinch reduced, there’s the “Primed”perk that nets you both. We even made a feature that shows you how to put in five gun attachments in one weapon!

Now, if you want to run-n-gun with an assault rifle, you should pick the “Energetic” Basic Training, but you need to Prestige the Airborne Division first.

Prestige Basic Training

Entering Prestige for the Infantry Division gets you the “Scoped” Basic Training which lets you move faster when aiming down your sights, and have less idle scope sway. Truth be told, I only tried this a few times until I went back to some of other Basic Training perks, since they’re more useful.

But hey, you might want to use this perk when sniping though!

Prestige Weapon

I’m sad to say, the Infantry Division’s weapon for Prestiging is the SVT-40. After messing around with it, I found it the most underwhelming gun gated by Prestige. It fires super slow, which means you should avoid enemies head-on, and it’s basically outclassed by the Garand, etc., when it comes to sheer effectiveness. Stay with the base guns we mentioned above! There’s a reason you (might) have never heard of this weapon, and it’s due to how inferior it is.

That’s it for our quick Call of Duty: WWII Infantry Division tips and guide! Stay tuned in the coming days as we cover the other Divisions and offer our thoughts.

Warface Battle Royale Mode Is Coming With Next Update

Every man for himself scenarios are the latest gaming craze, with “Battle Royale” games dominating with the largest player counts. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite Battle Royale continue to grow at a ridiculous pace.

Now it looks Crytek wants a slice of that pie, with the next update for their free-to-play PC first-person shooter, Warface, getting a new Battle Royale mode. The new game type will be available for a limited time, before undergoing some changes and improvements, and then being made available once again.

Here’s details on the map and main features:

Map

Warface has a broad variety of game modes available — some are more conservative and classic, suited to the 5-on-5 scenarios, whilst some others are more dynamic and perhaps even, arcade. With Battle Royale, we wanted to create something on the thin verge between the two, and here you have it: quick-paced combat with an element of the unknown — you never know which gun you’re going to get, with action taking place on the largest PvP map ever seen in the game.

Main Features

  • The game mode takes after the most classic scenario: each man for himself.
  • Dynamic engagement, that always keeps you on the move — linger a minute too long and you’ll be caught outside the shield and left for dead.
  • An enormous new map with plenty of areas to explore. No round will ever feel the same — you never know where you’re headed until the “Zone” hits.
  • Plenty of achievements to unlock!

Click here to see all of the achievements.

Take a look at the teaser trailer:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lXgDWQVfNE

I wonder if Battle Royale can help give a boost to Warface, a game that released back in 2013.

Will you be giving the new mode a go? Let us know.

In other news, Call of Duty: WWII accidentally launched with double XP enabled, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford has said he’s “very much against” predatory monetization schemes, and an Overwatch movie is something Activision “would like very much.”
