Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris Info From Livestream All in One Place

In case you didn’t know, Bungie livestreamed the reveal of Destiny 2’s first expansion. Curse of Osiris. As one can expect, a ton of new details have shot out of the reveal. If you weren’t around to see it, don’t fret! We have a Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris info recap here.

Thanks to Reddit use DTG_Bot, check out the details Bungie revealed about Destiny 2’s first DLC.

  • New level cap: 330 + 5 = 335.
  • New Destination: Mercury, with its own tokens and faction NPC (Brother Vance, IIRC).
    • The social space is The Lighthouse.
    • The Infinite Forest (the Vex’s reality simulator, and a patrol space, I think) is different each time you enter it.
  • New Egyptian-themed armor drops on Mercury.
  • The Heroic Strike Playlist is back.
  • There is a new full raid on the Leviathan called “Eater of Worlds”, but it’s shorter than the original Leviathan raid.
    • There will also be a Prestige version of Eater of Worlds.
    • They are calling Eater of Worlds a “raid lair”.
    • Eater of Worlds will not go live on Dec 5, but will shortly thereafter.
  • The original Leviathan raid is having its level cap raised, so you can play the original Leviathan (in Normal Mode) to level up to 335.
  • The second expansion will have an additional “lair” on the Leviathan.
    • Again, a shorter raid than the original Leviathan, I think.
  • Here’s a transcript of a part of the reveal that states just how big Eater of Worlds will be:
    Q. What is the scope of a raid lair, if you were to try to size it up?A. It’s not as lengthy as the original Leviathan, but there’s still a boss and all the challenges leading up to the them. So it’s going to be a pretty sizable addition.

And it’s no less challenging or less fun than any other raid we’ve made. This raid is a ton of fun. We’ve been playing it a lot internally. It’s extremely challenging. You’re going to die a lot.

Don’t forget to check out our latest report on token farming technique that should net people stiff right away.

Curse of Osiris will be out this December for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Secret World Legends Patch Introduces Anima Allocations, Quality of Life Tweaks & More

Secret World Legends latest update allows you to control the power of Anima. Upon reaching level 20, you’ll be granted access to a new tab in your Ability Window. This tab allows you to adapt your combat stats to certain situations.

In addition to this, ten new Waist Talismans have been created: nine being weapon-specific and one which works with all weapons.

For the full list of patch notes, see below:

GENERAL

  • Anima Allocation has been added as a tab in the ability window. This tab will allow you to freely allocate your Power Rating towards damage, survivability, or healing.
  • With the release of the Anima Allocation system, all characters have had their Anima Allocation set to 90% Damage, 10% Survivability. Characters who are level 20 or above can alter this setting upon login.
  • Removed duplicate talisman drops from basic talisman loot tables now that all talismans grant the same base stats with Anima Allocation. For example, loot tables will no longer include health, healing, and attack talismans for the neck slot, but rather one neck talisman.
  • Purchasing Patron will now reduce existing mission cooldowns to a maximum of 8 hours.
  • Players will now receive the bonus cache key on the day they purchase patron, even if they have already claimed their daily login reward.
  • Players will now receive the bonus Dungeon, Scenario, and Lair keys on the day they purchase Patron.
  • Added a report option to the social GUI.
  • Fixed a case where glance chance would not update in real time on the character sheet when equipping talismans with defense rating.
  • Investigation missions are now properly labeled as investigations instead of action/sabotage missions in the mission journal.
  • Action Button 9 in the controls screen has been renamed “Ultimate Ability” to make it more obvious what the button is for.
  • Made several optimizations to the Assault Rifle weapon status display.
  • Fixed a case where re-entering reticule mode did not update the current offensive target if the camera had been moved while not in reticule mode.
  • Entering reticule mode will no longer close the Emote UI. This should make it easier to perform multiple emotes while moving around an area.
  • Closing the Emote UI will no longer put the player back into reticule mode. This should make it easier to take screenshots while performing emotes.
  • The player interaction dropdown will now appear next to the player being interacted with when using F to interact with another player.
  • PvP locations in the Social UI have been updated to more accurately reflect possible PvP locations.
  • Nightmare difficulty is no longer available in the Social Window. Players can choose to list for either story or elite difficulties for activities that have multiple difficulties.
  • Manufactory, Manufactory Breached, and the Orochi Tower Penthouse have been removed from the social UI.
  • Social UI no longer allows you to select a scenario location, since scenario locations are randomized.
  • Inspection window now shows levels of equipped items.
  • Added a display for the current Anima Allocation of inspected players to the Inspection window.
  • Attempting to inspect a player that has left the area no longer opens up an empty inspection window.
  • When a player that is being inspected leaves the area, the inspection window will now close.
  • Purchasing something from the inspection window will no longer return you to reticule mode.
  • Changed the text on step one of the glyph fusion tutorial to specify that the player should place equipment in the target slot, instead of specifically telling them to place a weapon there.
  • Signets of the same slot (Neck -> Neck) will now qualify for the 2.5x bonus XP multiplier for Empowerment. Fusion remains unchanged. This should allow better value out of getting signets of the same slot but not necessarily the exact signet you are looking for.
  • All talismans of the same slot will now provide 2.5x bonus XP when used in Empowerment.
  • Weapons, talismans, signets, and glyphs which have gained XP will now grant a portion of their invested XP when used as fodder in empowerment. Note that once an item has been fused into a higher quality the XP in it is reset to 0.
  • Reduced the cost to recover glyphs and signets from items at Mythic and below qualities. The cost is based on the quality of the glyph or signet being recovered:
    • Green: 300 Marks of Favour
    • Blue: 1200 Marks of Favour
    • Purple: 5000 Marks of Favour
    • Orange: 10000 Marks of Favour
  • Added the potential for blue quality items to drop in scenarios, elite dungeons, and the Manhattan Exclusion Zone. The chance increases based on the difficulty of the content.
  • Increased the amount of distillate XP gained when opening a rare chest in an Elite 10 dungeon or scenario.
  • In an effort to increase the efficiency of each activity in terms of increasing your character’s power, we’ve added some of the loot from various activities into each activity’s loot chest. The goal is to allow each activity to still be the best at providing progression in its specific area while still allowing progression on the other aspects of your character at a lower rate. The changes are as follows:
    • Added Glyph Distillates to dungeon final boss loot chests.
    • Added a chance to gain a signet when opening dungeon final boss loot chests.
    • Added Anima Shards to dungeon final boss loot chests. The amount gained increases based on the difficulty of the content.
    • Added Talisman and Weapon Distillates to all Lair loot chests.
    • Added Anima Shards to all Lair loot chests.
    • Added Glyph Distillates to all Lair loot chests.
    • Added a chance to gain a signet when opening Scenario loot chests.
    • Added Talisman and Weapon Distillates to Scenario loot chests.
    • Added Anima Shards to Scenario loot chests.
  • Reduced the amount of Anima Shards gained from Tokyo container bosses. These bosses are great for supplying Anima Shards and will still do so, but we wanted to encourage other activities as well. As noted above in the loot changes, we’ve essentially removed some Shards from the containers and spread them around to Scenarios, Lairs, and Dungeons.
  • Due to the additions to the final boss chest in elite dungeons, elite final bosses now have a unique rare chest which contains those new items.

GAMEPLAY

  • The Cache Locksmith in Agartha now sells a consumable item which will summon a vendor to your location for a short time.
  • Added a level requirement to the purchase of weapons from Mr. Knickknack in Agartha.
  • Cheap Jack and Cheap Jill are no longer selling wares in Agartha. Dr Caligari reports having heard Mr. and Mrs. Knickknack cackling evilly.
  • Added teleports to London, Seoul, and New York. These are acquired when you visit these locations.
  • Added a teleport to the Museum of the Occult which is acquired when unlocking the first pedestal. Players who have already done this have been given the teleport.
  • The Seoul Fight Club has been updated with Equal Footing and PvP role selectors in the safe area.
  • Filth Guardian legend #7 is now available for pickup.
  • Spectres legend #4 and #6 can now drop from more enemies.
  • Each region boss now has a chance to award a Congealed Essence item specific to that boss.
  • Repeating Youth Outreach will now properly reward anima shards.
  • The Piecemeal Chopper used during the mission Piece of the Road will no longer sometimes appear in Agartha or other strange places.
  • Effigy X66 Familiars should now correctly count as Familiars for monster kill achievements.
  • Fixed an issue where certain Lair summoning items were not dropping from rare lair chests.
  • Increased the point value for 750 Jinn kills (Paradise Lost) to 10 points, to match other kill tracks.
  • Increased the point value for 750 Komainu kills (Ungyo) to 10 points, to match other kill tracks.
  • Fixed display issue with the names of the achievements Ungyo, Nio, and Agyo.

COMBAT

  • Created 10 new Waist Talismans. There are 9 that are weapon-specific and 1 that works with all weapons. These talismans can be acquired via the loot bags that drop off from enemies which would usually contain caches. There will now be a chance that instead of gaining a cache, you gain one of these new Waist Talismans.
  • Increased the overall power of all extraordinary talismans.
  • Reduced the cooldown of Incendiary Grenade, Anima Canister, and Essence Grenades to 2 seconds. This should allow rapidly loaded grenades to be launched in a timely fashion when using weapons like the KSR-43.
  • Fixed an issue which allowed the Assault Rifle capstone effect to grant you an increased capstone cap.
  • Adjusted hashmarks on the elemental UI to more accurately reflect useful heat values. Marks are now placed at 25, 50, and 75% of the bar.
  • Elemental abilities no longer use hotbar swaps to switch into their higher heat versions of their FX. This transition is now seamless and should not interrupt ability usage any longer.
  • Updated Crystallised Blaze in light of the above change. This passive will now always modify Crystallised Flame regardless of heat level.
  • Reduced heat generated by Chain Lightning and Fire Bolt to 12 (was 20).
  • Reduced heat generated by Mjolnir and Inferno to 18 (was 30).
  • Increased heat reduced by cold abilities to 40 (was 30).
  • Reduced the additional heat removed by Frozen Figurine to 50 to compensate for the above change (was 60).
  • Increased the heat loss when using Overload with the Elemental Force passive to 50.
  • Blizzard’s passive “Frigid Tempest” will now also increase the damage dealt by Blizzard by 21%.
  • Lingering Frost now also applies a damage over time effect to enemies damaged by your cold abilities.
  • Thermocoupler now additionally deals bonus damage after triggering its heat reduction effects 4 times.
  • Supercooler now also reduces the remaining cooldown of all cold abilities when the heat reducing effect triggers.
  • Calorimetry now also allows your Elementalism attacks to deal an additional damage hit at the start of combat and every 10 seconds afterward.
  • Increased the overall bonus damage granted by the Elementalism heat mechanic. Also, removed the bonus damage dealt when at 0-24 heat and increased the damage bonus gained at all higher heat levels.
  • Fixed an issue where the additional heat reduction from Frozen Figurine was occurring before damage was dealt, resulting in the cold abilities dealing less damage than they should.
  • Removed the heat level requirement from Totemic Hell Lord to address issues with the effects not triggering reliably. The associated effects have been slightly reduced in potency to compensate for this.
  • Totemic Hell Lord’s damage over time effect should now show properly in the combat log.
  • The initial damage from placing Crystallised Flame and Crystallised Blaze will now properly trigger Unstable Electron Core’s damage and Totemic Hell Lord’s damage over time effect.
  • The initial damage from placing Crystallised Storm will now properly trigger Unstable Electron Core’s damage.
  • Damage from Unstable Electron Core will no longer be reported in the combat log as coming from Crystallised Flame.
  • Fixed an issue where the bonus heat reduction from Cryo-Charged Conduit was not being applied to Overload’s cold damage.
  • Increased Crimson Pulse’s damage by 200%.
  • Fixed an issue which caused the damage displayed in the tooltip for Ice Beam to be modified by the wrong types of bonuses. This only affects the tooltip damage and not the actual resulting damage.
  • The Protection bonus from Belobog’s Ring can now be applied to multiple targets with a single cast, such as Communion.
  • Fixed an issue with the Ankh talisman that caused the beneficial effect to not be removed in certain cases.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the movement speed bonus from Jaguar Cord to not apply.
  • By default, Reap will no longer deal damage based on your Corruption level. Only healing will occur.
  • Eldritch Scourge will now generate Corruption when used at a neutral Corruption/Martyrdom position.
  • Increased the cooldown timer on the Ak’ab’s Royal Jelly from 5 seconds to 20 seconds.
  • Reduced the healing of the Ak’ab’s Royal Jelly by 10%.
  • Mnemonic Guardian – Ak’ab (all versions) – Fixed the Ak’ab not moving to melee range of the target.
  • The Savage Dream should no longer deal charge damage to players as it retreats and prepares to cast Blind Rage.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the damage from Skadi’s Ring to not show up in the combat log.
  • Fixed Warrior Spirit of Hemitneter using male sound FX in combat.
  • Fixed an issue where the bonuses from Unbridled Wrath were not triggering properly if you were below 50 Rage and Pneumatic Maul’s bonus was active.
  • Fixed an issue where healing procs from talismans such as Timeless Watch would apply to the caster rather than the target when using abilities such as Leeching Ray, Mend, or Nurture.
  • Fixed an issue which caused the bonus hate from Black Sash to not apply.
  • Fixed an issue with using the Blizzard ability and the simple ground targeting option.
  • Fixed a typo in the description of the Incandescent Capacitor talisman.
  • Fixed an issue where the bonus from Razor Fossil could accrue more than once per target killed.

DUNGEONS

General

  • Increased the duration before the following loot chests will despawn, to account for the longer run from the Anima Well:
    • Polaris
      • The Varangian
      • Primordial Dweller

      • Corroder

Hell Raised

  • Re-worked the Machine Tyrant’s basic attack to have a much higher chance to deal additional bonus damage, but with much less additional bonus damage dealt.

Star Wars Battlefront II End of Match Rewards to Be Changed Confirmed

During DICE’s Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session earlier today about Star Wars Battlefront II, DICE employees sat down and answered as many questions as they can about the game. One of the things asked was the end-of-match rewards in Battlefront II.

If you’ve played the game, you might have noticed that players are given rewards at the end of every match. That alone isn’t really news, since every game does that. However, what is news is how random everything is. It doesn’t seem like your rewards are commensurate to how well you’ve played and so on.

Over on Reddit, John Wasilczyk , Executive Producer at DICE, confirmed to gamers that DICE is adjusting the rewards given at the end of every match.

Here’s what DICE said about it in case the Reddit embed didn’t load.

Regarding the second part of this question: We’re constantly looking at the rate that players are unlocking Crates and Star Cards and will continue adjusting values to make sure that players are able to progress towards their goals without it feeling like a grind. We’re also going to be adjusting end of match rewards as we revisit the system to reward people differently based on the way they play.

This is a step in the right direction. Let’s hope DICE can turn things around so we can play the Star Wars game we wanted, not what publisher EA wished the public wanted.

Stay tuned for more Battlefront II news snippets from the AMA, as we’re reading through them to make sure nothing important slips the cracks.

Call of Duty: WWII Multiplayer Improvements We Want to See ASAP

[tps_header]

With Call of Duty: WWII now out for more than 10 days, and players getting our first patch, we decided it’s time for us to bite down and chew through the issues the game still has. Important to note, the changes we want implemented that’s listed below are purely gameplay-related, and not technical issues.

While Call of Duty: WWII has ran into some unexpected technical issues, we’re pretty confident (or at least hoping) that Sledgehammer Games will eventually sort it out. So, in no specific order, here are the top Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer improvements we want to see ASAP. Note that we didn’t include bugs, or technical issues, since these touch on gameplay mechanics, design decisions and the like exclusively.

Ready? Here we go.

[/tps_header]

[tps_title]Domination and TDM Scores Should Be “Fixed!”[/tps_title]

Sledgehammer Games said during the beta that each kill in Domination will count as 100 instead of 50. However, here we are and each kill in the mode is just 50! This makes even earning a UAV an unwelcome challenge.

Team deathmatch score limit being 75 instead of the promised change to 100 needs fixed as well. Please, Sledgehammer!

For Honor Update Adds Two New Heroes, Two Maps, Tribute Mode & More

For Honor‘s latest update is now live and rolling out. It brings two new Heroes into the fight, two new maps and a new game mode called “Tribute”.

In addition to this, Ubisoft have added new customization options, allowing each Hero to equip four executions instead of two, and more.

For the patch highlights, see below:

New Heroes

Shaman

The Shaman fights like a wildcat on the battlefield. She uses a dagger and hatchet to stab and slash relentlessly, overwhelming their opponents. When she smells blood, she will pounce upon her prey and remorselessly deliver the deathblow.

Difficulty: Medium

Fighting style details:

  • Predatory combatant
  • Fast attacker

Special Capabilities:

  • Fast attacks let her strike at will
  • Short range stabs inflict Bleed
  • Becomes more deadly when the opponent is Bleeding

Aramusha

The Aramusha uses his blades for offense and defense. He can move very carefully or dodge very quickly on the battlefield. He capitalizes on the mistakes of his opponents to unleash a never-ending flow of fast attacks in every direction.

Difficulty: Hard

Fighting style details:

  • Counter Attacker
  • Fast attacker

Special Capabilities:

  • Infinite chains
  • Very good special block move
  • Very good dodges

New Maps

The Gauntlet

A pair of massive stone skulls stand as welcome or warning to those who seek to enter the Viking Fortress. Perched high on a hill, the Fortress is protected by a defensive gauntlet, built by seasoned warriors to stop attackers from reaching their most valued haven.

  • Few have ever made it in the Viking citadel, and none have made it out.
  • Available in all gamemodes except Tribute.

Market Town

Out of tranquil marshland rises a Samurai village, a densely populated maze of twisting alleys and unusual architecture. Here the people live in stilt houses above the water, and the landscape has necessitated a push skyward, creating multi-tiered neighborhoods at varying elevations.

  • Navigating the village is a significant challenge for visitors and invaders alike, but a system of ziplines is sure to expedite travel.
  • Available in all gamemodes except Dominion.

New Gamemode

Tribute

Two teams of four players fight for the favor of the gods. Each team must gather or steal offerings and bring them back to their shrines to unlock powerful blessings. The first team with three offerings (or the team with the most offerings at the end of the timer) wins.

Tribute is playable in Tower Ruin, Canyon, Shipyard, Cathedral, Cinder Mill, Forest, Viking Village and Market Town.

Improvements since Public Test

When the timer reaches 0:00 (during any phase of the match) the phase will not resolve until the latest interaction with a Shrine is completed or interrupted. The match carries on or finishes according to the result of that interaction.

  • Example: If the score is 3-0 for the blue team. Win confirm state starts. After 40s an orange players tries to steal an offering. Before he finishes, the timer ends. On Public Test, this meant a victory for the blue team. Now, if the orange player successfully steals the offering, the match exits the win confirm state and goes back to the regular timer with the score being 2-0.
  • This effect can be triggered with a steal AND/OR a secure.

Drop conditions when carrying an Offering have been refined, they should now be consistent throughout:

  • On PTS, moves and feats that controlled other players would not make the offering drop. They now do.
  • Being in revenge gives you the same immunity super armor gives you pertaining offering drop conditions
  • Renown gain has been rebalanced, players should unlock their 4th feat towards the end of the match if all teammates contributed equally to the game. It was too fast on the Public Test.
  • The damage boost from the “Vindicator’s Blessing” has been reduced to 20% (from 25%) and it does not affect feats anymore.
  • The shield from the Guardian’s Blessing now has accurate regen rules, it will fill back up to 25 health (same amount as Public Test) 9 seconds after the last attack received (blocked or successful). This timer resets every time the character is attacked. The shield can still regen while in combat.
  • Respawn rules have been improved to greatly reduce the chance of players respawning in front of an opponent.

Are you looking forward to trying out the new game mode and/or testing out a new character? Let us know below.

Over 100,000 PUBG Cheaters Banned During This Past Weekend

While PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds continues to attract a huge number of good, upstanding players, who enjoy the game’s hardcore skill level and continue to improve naturally, there are other gamers out there who prefer to cheat. These scumbags spoil the fun for others and should be banned.

Fortunately, PUBG‘s anti-cheat system, BattlEye, has been effectively policing servers, banning an extraordinary amount of offending players.

After releasing new security updates last week, we banned almost 100,000 PUBG accounts this past weekend totaling over 700,000. That being said, fighting cheaters will always remain WIP and never be solved completely, especially in the most popular Battle Royale game.

100,000 accounts banned during a weekend period. Pretty nuts, right?

In other PUBG news, the desert map minimap has been mined from the 1.0 test patch, new official desert map screenshots have been released, and developer Bluehole has revealed a new game

FIFA 18 Update Fixes AI Exploit That Allowed for Easy FUT Wins

A new update for FIFA 18 has been released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The update’s primary goal is to prevent players from abusing the AI, which was being exploited to achieve easy victories in higher level FUT Squad Battles.

For the full list of patch notes, see below:

Removed the chance for the CPU AI controlled player to receive a second yellow card when trying to push or pull an opponent, with the exception of an attacker who is through on goal and 1 on 1 with the keeper.

  • This has no impact on human controlled players.

To better explain this change we wanted to provide some additional context around how the CPU team plays the game.

  • The CPU plays the game as you would, limited by the same input restrictions as a human player is.
  • This means that the CPU team has an active player, just like you do, which we call the CPU AI controlled player.
  • A CPU AI controlled player exists in the following circumstances:
    • On a team with no human players.
      • For example, the CPU controlled team in Squad Battles.
    • On a team with human players who are all locked to specific players, that also has CPU teammates.
      • For example, a Pro Clubs team, with less than 11 human players, with no ANY player.
  • A CPU AI controlled player does not exist in the following circumstances:
    • On a team with human players who are not locked to specific players.
      • For example, a team in FUT Champions.

Are you grateful for this change? Or has it spoiled your fun? Let us know below.

Star Wars Battlefront II AMA Is Now Live on Reddit, Three Developers Await Your Questions

The controversy surrounding Star Wars Battlefront II is never-ending, it seems. EA’s continued attempts at appeasing players and attempting to defend the Hero grind, loot box and microtransactions systems, has backfired time and time again.

Well, EA isn’t giving up just yet, and is sending three Battlefront II developers into the dragon’s den (a Reddit AMA), in what is sure to be a heated debate.

Head here to find the AMA, where you’ll see the community’s most burning questions (hopefully) being answered.

These are the three developers who are answering questions:

– John Wasilczyk, Executive Producer (/u/WazDICE)

The r/Battlefront subreddit has listed some ground rules for the AMA:

1) Keep it civil. You don’t have to be nice, but we will not allow the AMA to devolve into straight up harassment. EA employees are users of the subreddit, too. We will be heavily enforcing Rule #2 during the AMA: No harassment or inflammatory language will be tolerated. Be respectful to users.
EA has also informed us that if the AMA becomes hostile, their team will pull back and stop the AMA.
They want an open dialogue with this community to address the community’s concerns, not a cage match. So, violations of this rule during the AMA will result in a 3 day ban.

2) Post questions only. Top level comments that are not questions will be removed.

3) Limit yourself to one comment, with a max of 3 questions per comment. Multiple comments from the same user, or comments with more than 3 questions will be removed. Trust that the community wants to ask the same questions you do.

4) Don’t spam the same questions over and over again. Duplicates will be removed before the AMA starts.
We know you all want to ask about the progression system, and the credit costs, and the events of the past couple of days. But repeat questions only hurt this community, they don’t “make sure EA answers this.” Think of it this way: one question with ten upvotes is going to be higher up on the list (and more likely to get attention) than ten similar/identical questions with one upvote each that get buried at the bottom of a very large comment section. We will be going through and removing repeat questions before the AMA starts, so that John, Dennis, and Paul only have to answer the same question once. Just make sure you upvote questions you want answered, rather than posting a repeat of those questions.

I’ll be lurking to see what comes of this! It’s sure to be interesting, one way or another…

Battlegrounds

Bloodlust Brawl

  • All Minions, Mercs, and the Dragon Knight now have permanent Bloodlust.

Developer Comment: When looking at this Brawl, we really love the Bloodlust buff. By powering up the Players and the Dragon Knight so much, the poor Minions really struggled to provide much value during the Brawl. In order to bring them up to speed with their Mercenary buddies, we’ve decided that all Minions could use permanent Bloodlust as well.

Ranked Battleground Rotation Update

  • Added to Rotation
    • Battlefield of Eternity
    • Infernal Shrines
  • Removed from Rotation
    • Haunted Mines
    • Garden of Terror
  • The full Ranked Battleground Rotation is now as follows:
    • Battlefield of Eternity
    • Braxis Holdout
    • Cursed Hollow
    • Dragon Shire
    • Infernal Shrines
    • Sky Temple
    • Tomb of the Spider Queen
    • Towers of Doom
    • Volskaya Foundry

PUBG New Weapon & Vehicles Discovered in Datamine

In addition to introducing vaulting and overhauled ballistics to the game, the recent PUBG Test Server update also included files for upcoming assets. We’ve already taken a gander at the desert map minimap, as well as jet skis, and now there’s more!

Reddit user Art_7s shared images of a new weapon and two new vehicles. These are the DP-28 rifle, minibus and pickup closed truck.

If you think they look pretty low-res and unimpressive, Art_7s has explained the reason behind the low-quality assets:

These are just the raw assets without the UE4 PBR materials so they’re gonna look like crap as is. But when they’re in game they should look about the same quality as the rest of the vehicles

What do you make of the upcoming weapon and vehicles? Looking forward to potentially riding around the new desert map in a VW minibus, while firing off that brand new rifle?

In other PUBG news, the desert map minimap has been mined from the 1.0 test patch, new official desert map screenshots have been released, and developer Bluehole has revealed a new game

Warfame Console Patch Notes Now Live, Huge List of Changes Detailed

Patch notes for the latest Warframe console update have been detailed. The new patch features many changes, including a huge list of ability alterations and bug fixes.

In addition to this, Plains of Eiodolon has officially released. This expansion features a “day” and “night” cycle, with day lasting 100 minutes and night lasting 50.

For the list of highlights see below:

  • All trace fire weapons trace distance reduced to 300m apart from Sniper Rifles which stay at 1000m.
  • Magnetic Damage Status Effects now drain energy over time as opposed to completely draining all energy.
  • Changed Ayatan Star markers to only display if you’re within 100 meters or so range of the drop.. Amber Star markers will also appear larger due to their rarity and to avoid confusion.
  • Maroo’s Bazaar is now located on Mars.
  • Adjusted the Nyx Carnifex Helmet and Skin colors to match original design.
  • Toned down the density of the Zenistars FX.
  • Removed stagger on hit from Grineer Flameblade units.
  • Capture missions will no longer have the chance to change to the Exterminate objective in Kuva Siphon missions.
  • Improved the mesh quality of the Angstrum and Prisma Angstrum to avoid blocky textures.
  • Companions will no longer lose integrity if a print is in the process of being distilled to prevent unexpected death.
  • Changed metal material assignment for ceilings in the Corpus Tilesets to improve performance.
  • Improved Corpus Dropship passenger animations and increased the speed at which they drop the Corpus reinforcements.
  • Cranked down the intensity of Nox’s helmet smash and explosion upon death sound FX.
  • The following items are now color tintable:
    • All Vandal and Wraith weapons.
    • The Harkonar Wraith Armour and Syandana.
  • Updated icons for the Lato and Braton Vandal.
  • Improved Jat Kusar weapon trail so that it is more visible.
  • Toned down lens flair on Nekros’ idle.
  • Improved Operator movement animations in the Landing Craft to remove weird leg and arm motions.
  • Changed the TennoGen Knaita Mag skin’s default colors to match the Steam Workshop’s main image. Icons for Helmet and Skin have been updated to match as well.
  • Updated Grineer reaction animations to be snappier.
  • Updated the Shield Lancer’s shield to PBR.
  • Polished Grineer mobility animations.
  • Ash’s idle smoke now reacts to lighting.
  • Reduced particle count on one of Rell’s manifestation abilities.
  • Players who have the blueprints for The Limbo Theorem, Hidden Messages, or Patient Zero will now automatically receive the quest itself upon logging in. The blueprints will be removed and if they were under construction, the resources and credits will be refunded (except for the argon crystals for The Limbo Theorem, sorry!).
  • Anti-MOAs are now able to spawn in Exterminate and Mobile Defense missions on Jupiter.
  • Tweaked the glass material on the Orokin capsules in the first mission of Vor’s Prize.
  • Updated Quaro Sugatra’s material rigidness to make it perform more like metal.
  • Updated the Liset’s appearance in the cinematic during the first mission of Vor’s Prize.
  • Cleaned up a small patch of unintended Infestation on the Corpus Outpost tileset. Looks like those Corpus janitors were really slacking!
  • The Gear wheel can now have up to 12 items!
  • The in-game Market now includes a separate category for Warframe Deluxe Bundles!
  • The Ayatan Star installing prompt will now only display once per Ayatan installing session rather than on every socket.
  • Improved Hydroid’s Tempest Barrage when aiming through doorways. The Barrage will better hit the aimed location than the actual doorway.
  • Tweaked the Hydroid Graxx Skin default colors to better match original design.
  • Reduced the range at which NPCs see ragdolls / projectiles etc – this helps reduce the chance an NPC will see a body a long distance away and become alert.
  • Optimized scripts used by Defection missions.
  • Optimized the Infested Tar Moa sounds.
  • Made many small performance optimizations to all Warframe abilities.
  • Optimized Coolant Leak Mod slightly.
  • Removed being able to Quick Revive yourself when dueling in the Dojo.
  • The Sharpened Claws Kavat Mod now only applies the Armour debuff when actually dealing damage. Previously the Armour debuff would activate even if no damage was dealt.
  • Changed Juggernaut’s response to Warframe abilities to be consistent with other bosses.
  • Grineer Blunts now only take Melee damage and have a passive Health drain.
  • Reduced the radius on a light used on a few of Volt’s abilities.
  • The Simulacrum “Invincibility” option now works on Operators!
  • Updated the Ogris and Grineer Napalm’s fire FX.
  • Made sound optimizations for Nezha’s Fire Walker.
  • Toned down the smoke FX of Excalibur’s Radial Blind.
  • Kela De Thaym is no longer weak to finishers.
  • Slightly tweaked the visual FX of Frost’s Snowglobe
  • Vor’s Prize will now appear as “Completed” in the Codex for players that chose to skip it back in the day. This was causing confusion on prerequisites for Saya’s Vigil – it wasn’t stopping progression, just adding confusion.
  • Updated an old Waypoint used in Stolen Dreams and The New Strange quests which was missing an in-world marker and yellow tint, this may have caused some confusion as all missions use the in-world marker now.
  • The Focus School selection screen will now appear on login if a player has completed Second Dream but doesn’t have a Focus ability selected yet. This should also fix people stuck in the War Within quest or The Second Dream quest.
  • End of mission Endo rewards will now appear as a sum instead of multiples (ex. 200 Endo as opposed to 50 Endo x 4).

Not exactly subtle!

What do you make of this? Is it funny? Or a tad unprofessional? Let us know!

Check Out “Project Xandata” an FPS Being Made by Filipino Developers, Watch the Trailer Now

While there’s no shortage of first-person shooters out in the market or released each year, add “Project Xandata” to the list! According to developer Secret 6 (who’s worked on the Uncharted franchise and other game IPs), Project Xandata is a first-person, competitive shooter being made by Filipino (Philippines) developers, that’s said to blend sci-fi, fantasy and Philippine mythology

Game features listed below straight from the developers along with the closed beta trailer .

Proudly Filipino-made

Promotes Filipino ingenuity and talent, both locally and internationally. Proudly developed by Filipino veteran game developers in Secret 6.

An eSports Title in the Making

A fresh competitive first-person shooter in the market, and the first e-sports title to be developed in Southeast Asia.

Playstyle Customization

Features play style customization, with extensive options to modify classes, armor, and weapons, as well as abilities and elemental affinity. Team strategies evolve based on the preferred play style of the team or individual players.

Visually Exciting Style and Aesthetics

Set in the sci-fi fantasy and visually stylized world influenced by modern science fiction, artist Toru Nakayama, and traditional Filipino aesthetics.

There’s even a robust story being developed that talks about multiple countries banding together to stop a common foe, technology that harness the power of the elements and more. You can read it in full here.

Will it be able to carve its own niche in the highly-competitive shooter genre? We can’t say for sure, but color us intrigued for now.

Currently, “Project Xandata” is scheduled for release on PC at a still-unannounced date.

Star Wars Battlefront II to Have Patches “Every Two Weeks,” DICE Taking a Look Into Progression & “Balance” Credits System

It’s been quite a hectic week at EA when it came to Star Wars Battlefront II — and understandably so. While the publisher pulled back on the game’s loot crate-infused progression system a bit, gamers aren’t quick to forget, and it’s easy to see why.

Having said that, DICE developers are doing an AMA tomorrow evening to try and answer as many questions as they can for gamers, and even before that, more info seems to be being made available. Over on YouTube channel “BattlefrontUpdates,” DICE Associate Design Director Dennis Brannvall shared a few nuggets of info about Battlefront II’s post-launch plans and more.

According to the video, which you can watch above, Dennis Brannvall has been promoted and is now the Design Director of Battlefront II. Why is that important? Well, it seems Brannvall made a few changes (for the better) for the first Battlefront, and they are aiming  to do the same with Battlefront II.

In the video, Brannvall was quoted as saying, “we’re going to take a look into progression and balance the credits system” which should be in line with what fans wanted in the first place. Additionally, Brannvall revealed that there will be “patches” every two weeks, though it wasn’t specified if this was for all platforms, whether these are server-side hotfixes, or full blown balance patches.

Additionally, the continuous music option is said to be coming “very soon,” and when it comes to customization, a “significant amount” is coming, though it wasn’t specified when and how.

We’ll be reporting on more info once the AMA is over — regardless if it’s good or bad news. Sta y tuned to our Battlefront II review hitting the site once we’ve gotten enough time with the multiplayer and the other modes.

Call of Duty: WWII Domination Spawn Guide – Where Enemies Spawn in Each Map

[tps_header]

While team deathmatch (TDM) might be the most popular mode in Call of Duty, Domination has its fair share number of fans, too. However, one thing that might infuriate people in Domination (Dom) can be the spawns. By this, I mean not knowing which side the enemy spawns which means you’ll get killed from behind, which is a problem every Call of Duty game has, and COD: WWII is no different.

Thanks to Reddit user  jgod_316, a Call of Duty: WWII Domination spawn guide just got made, and it looks solid enough. Check out how you should approach each map in a match of Domination in COD: WWII!

The Areas Highlighted in Red are from the TDM Spawns, the Areas in Purple are the added Spawns within each map for Domination, and Lastly Areas Highlighted in Orange are areas they removed from the TDM Spawns.
