The Division 2 New DLC “Warlords of New York” Announced With New Trailer & Details

While Ubisoft Massive has been rather quiet when it comes to The Division 2 new content, that’s about to change soon as The Division 2 new DLC has been announced, and it’s called “Warlords of New York.”

Note that this is paid DLC, and will be a story-driven expansion, and is out on all platforms this March 3, 2020. Watch the explosive trailer below.

A Narrative Expansion to Discover a New Area in New York City

In Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Warlords of New York, Division Agents will go on the ultimate manhunt for Aaron Keener, a former Division Agent who has now gone rogue. Keener, along with his network of Rogue Agents, is now a major threat to the burgeoning rebirth of civilization. To track down Keener, Agents will roam the untamed living open world of Lower Manhattan; a former Dark Zone that was recently hit by a devastating hurricane that hit New York City harder than anywhere else in the US. Agents are tasked to explore new zones, each with iconic locations such as Two Bridges, Chinatown, and Wall Street. To get to Keener, players must take down each of his Rogue Agents.  Each Rogue Agent has their own unique back story and skill – which you gain once you take them down.

The Ultimate Vision of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Warlords of New York

After taking the time to hear and gather community feedback, core gameplay enhancements have been implemented across various topics such as build diversity, gear streamlining and even more meaningful loot.

Along with The Division 2 Warlords of New York, Title Update 8 will include an RPG overhaul, allowing players to better read and manage their gear inventory. The UI screen will be updated to always show the roll ranges for each stat on a piece of gear or weapon. The overhaul also includes the return of god rolls, improving readability and helping players make better decisions on the gear’s usefulness to their build. Additionally, players will see a more streamlined gear recalibration system, with item and stat usefulness indicators, as well as permanent attribute and stat storage at the recalibration station. This will allow Agents the flexibility to plan the perfect build.

The existing Dark Zones in The Division 2 are also being revitalized, returning to a simpler rogue mechanic. The focus is on rewarding player-to-player interaction, whether it’s fighting against each other or helping a fellow Agent against a tough Rogue player.

In The Division 2 Warlords of New York, the players’ level cap will increase from Level 30 to Level 40, but it doesn’t stop there. The Division 2 Warlords of New York is also introducing an infinite progression system, the SHD level, and 4 new skills that can be used throughout the game. Owners of the expansion will also get access to new gear and new weapons.

Modern Warfare Battle Royale Teased in New Season 2 Intro

Remember those Call of Duty: Modern Warfare battle royale rumors that cropped up since last year? Well, to probably no one’s surprise, it seems to be legit. In the new Modern Warfare Season 2 intro, guess what what’s shown? Yep, it’s an actual tease (if not outright confirmation) of battle royale!

As you can see, the soldiers mention “gas” which sounds like Modern Warfare’s version of the ring of fire/death that’s now standard in battle royale games. We also get a shot of a huge overhead map, and the clincher, we see soldiers jumping from a dropship parachuting down below just like in your standard battle royale game.

In addition to that, the main menu now has a “Classified” section in between Multiplayer and Co-op! Check out the image below (via PrestigeIsKey):

Given how Activision’s top brass themselves teased that “entirely new experiences” are coming to the Modern Warfare universe, the chances of them referring to battle royale are very, very high.

The big question now here is, when will we actually get the mode? I’d hazard a guess that given the teases, it’s going to be released sometime in Season 2, though we don’t know exactly how long Season 2 will last.

For more on Modern Warfare, check out the new Battle Pass trailer for Season 2 to know what you’re getting for buying it.

To help drum up excitement (and revenue) for this new season, Activision has released the Modern Warfare Season 2 Battle Pass trailer! The short video showcases the new items players will get for forking over real-world money and completing Battle Pass tiers. The big draw here is the Ghost Operator skin, as well as the other Operator skins available. There are gun charms as well, along with new Calling Cards and more.

The biggest new stuff included in this Battle Pass are the two new weapons, which can be obtained by anyone as long as they reach the tiers for ’em.

Stay tuned for more Modern Warfare news here on MP1st! We’re sure there’s bound to be a stealth change from Infinity Ward in this new patch, and once we know most or all of them, we’ll let our readers know.

In the all new Atlas Superstore, players set foot into a large-scale supercenter warehouse taken over by Al-Qatala forces with unique lines of sight. Later in the season, Khandor Hideout will join the rotation with an isolated desert turned battleground, suitable for versatile tactics and diverse playstyles.
Modern Warfare update today/Season 2 new content:
  • New Ground War Map: In Zhokov Boneyard, an expansive airplane junkyard in Verdansk, bulldoze through buildings with a tank, find the ideal sniping position, or go rogue with a run-and-gun mentality.

In Bazaar, coming later in the season, experience a tension-filled Gunfight amongst a tightly contained cross-section of the streets of Urzikstan.
  • New Multiplayer Modes: In the Call of Duty League Ruleset Playlist available now, all fans can play like the pros. Later in Season Two, Gunfight Tournaments will make a return as players enter the single elimination 2v2 firefight and battle to win rewards. Throughout the season, additional modes will be available including fan-favorite mode Demolition, pitting two teams against each other with the objective of attacking or destroying bomb sites.
  • New Trials: Four new trials will be included in Season Two for players to put their skills to the test and earn up to a three-star ranking and XP. In Quad Race, hop onto an ATV and master the course for the fastest time. In Fire in the Hole, practice throwing skills by tossing lethal equipment on a target. In Price’s Alley, sharpen decision-making and eliminate the enemy as you face waves of hostiles mixed with civilians. In Behind Enemy Lines, find and eliminate all hostiles in the area of operations as quickly as possible.

Once Infinity Ward releases the full patch notes, we’ll update the post.

Rainbow Six Siege Update 1.82 Released and Here’s What It Does

While Ubisoft fired out the big Rainbow Six Siege Y4S4.3 patch last week, there’s a new Rainbow Six Siege update today, and it’s live on both PS4 and Xbox One! As one might expect, Rainbow Six Siege update 1.82 is a small download on both platforms, and is considered a hotfix just to fix something that affects gameplay.

According to Ubisoft, Rainbow Six Siege update 1.82 for consoles is to fix the stun/concussion leaning bug on both PS4 and Xbox One…and that’s basically it.

While some players might be hoping for more gameplay changes, we’ll need to wait for Season 5 for that it seems.

In other Rainbow Six Siege news, Ubisoft has announced that there are now over 55 million registered Rainbow Six Siege players worldwide on all platforms. Not only that, while the game is a few years old, the DARPU (Daily Average Revenue Per User) has reached a new peak last year! Read about all of that here.

If you spot any gameplay changes not mentioned by Ubisoft, leave a comment to let the other Siege players know. We’ll also update the post if we find any changes outside the stun/concussion leaning bug.

Don’t forget to check out where Rainbow Six Siege ended up on our Best Multiplayer Shooters of the Decade list.

SMITE Update 11.30 Released, Is the Bonus Balance Update for February

Hi-Rez Studios has once again released a new SMITE update today, and this one is the bonus balance for February! Console gamers will see this as  SMITE update 11.30, and has a handful of updates included for the February 25 patch. Check out the full SMITE update 11.30 patch notes below, as well as an explanation for what “bonus balance” mean for the game.

SMITE update 11.30 patch notes:

tems

TOXIC BLADE
  • Fixed a bug where the price of this item was higher than intended by 100g

WITCHBLADE
  • Fixed a bug where the price of this item was higher than intended by 100g
Gods
BASTET
Bastet has pounced back into action in a big way with her rework. Through our Season 7 PTS we reduced her initial damage by a significant amount. Now that she is out in the wild, we are seeing her succeed but in a much healthier position than she would have been without PTS adjustments. Given her current strength we are making a small adjustment to Pounce to take the edge off her power.

POUNCE
  • Decreased Physical Power Scaling from 100% to 90%
HEIMDALLR
Heimdallr’s last adjustments heavily affected his damage done in but he is still doing too much. In this patch we want to focus more directly on his strong Basic Attacks and the Gjallarhorn’s damage and utility. We are reducing his cleave attacks damage which will affect him throughout the entire game. Gjallarhorn is seeing a significant scaling decrease and a removal of the protections while channeling. His knockback, ultimate, and clever use of the Bifrost are his means to survive. He does not need those protections to get the job done.

BASIC ATTACKS
  • Decreased first and second Basic Attack Scaling from 130% to 125%.

GJALLARHORN
  • Decreased Physical Power Scaling per tick from 35% to 30%.
  • No longer provides protections while channeling.
ODIN
The Allfather has shown he is more than capable of wielding Runic Magic. While we made adjustments similar to Bastet in the PTS, Odin is still seeing a high level of success and frustration. Gungnir’s Might provides strong cleave and engage power, while the punishment for leaving Ring of Spears is a hair too potent. We are toning these aspects down to help him feel more fair to fight.

GUNGNIR’S MIGHT
  • Decreased Pulse Damage from 25/45/65/85/105 to 20/40/60/80/100
  • Decrease Gungnir Throw Damage from 80/130/180/230/280 to 60/110/160/210/260

RING OF SPEARS
  • Decreased Damage dealt from leaving the ring from 140/210/280/350/420 to 120/190/260/330/400
SUSANO
We were cautious with Susano when it came to Season 7. We knew adjustments to the jungle and Hydra’s would have some impact, but his ban rate and performance indicate he is doing well in this new Season. We want to target the bonus damage Gathering Storm provides, lowering his top end burst potential and giving players more time to react to his damage.

GATHERING STORM
  • Decreased Physical Power Scaling of the bonus damage from 60% to 40%
THOR
Thor provides strong jungle clear with high ganking strength and a strong late game burst. We want to reign in some of these strengths to give enemies better opportunities to fight the God of Thunder. Beserker Barrage is seeing a scaling reduction and a cooldown increase which should tone down his late game scaling and jungle clear speed respectively.

BERSERKER BARRAGE
  • Increased Cooldown from 8s to 10s
  • Decreased Physical Power Scaling on the first two hits from 40% per hit to 35% per hit.
  • Decreased Physical Power Scaling on final hit from 60% to 50%
YEMOJA
Yemoja when she is able to lock down a target with moonstrike, or sustain a team with Mending Water, can be difficult to fight against. We are reducing the effectiveness of both of these abilities to not only improve counterplay but encourage diverse usage of her abilities.

MOONSTRIKE
  • Decreased Inner Area Magical Power Scaling from 55% to 45%
  • Decreased Outer Areas Magical Power Scaling from 20% to 15%
  • Decreased Stun Duration from 1/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4 to 1s at all ranks

MENDING WATERS

What is Bonus Balance?

  • Certain changes planned for the next update will be launched into the live game earlier than the official update
  • Bonus Balance changes will launch 2 weeks before the official update
  • We are planning to do this for the next few updates going forward and then check player feedback and data before deciding if this will be a permanent system. We might need to change this process in the future for other reasons.
  • Often these changes will need to be purely numerical balance changes, as code and art changes are not as easily launched without a full update
  • These changes will focus on the most pressing community frustration or the situations with the most definitive data

Once the full update is out, we’ll let our readers know.

Anthem Rework Confirmed, Seasons Canned

Remember when a rumor surfaced last year that BioWare was looking to overhaul Anthem and not abandoning it as most people assumed? Well, as it turns out, this is legit! Of course, BioWare refrained from using calling it an reboot, overhaul but rather referred to it as an Anthem rework or a “redesign.”

BioWare General Manager Casey Hudson penned a letter explaining to fans what the studio is doing with Anthem, and how BioWare is putting “gameplay first” in this Anthem rework.

Over the last year, the team has worked hard to improve stability, performance and general quality of life while delivering three seasons of new content and features.  We have also heard your feedback that Anthem needs a more satisfying loot experience, better long-term progression and a more fulfilling end game.  So we recognize that there’s still more fundamental work to be done to bring out the full potential of the experience, and it will require a more substantial reinvention than an update or expansion.  Over the coming months we will be focusing on a longer-term redesign of the experience, specifically working to reinvent the core gameplay loop with clear goals, motivating challenges and progression with meaningful rewards – while preserving the fun of flying and fighting in a vast science-fantasy setting.  And to do that properly we’ll be doing something we’d like to have done more of the first time around – giving a focused team the time to test and iterate, focusing on gameplay first.

While this in itself is good, there is a downside. Hudson also confirmed that seasons have been canned. It seems like the Icetide season we got back in December is the last one! There will be events and store refreshes to keep the current player base engaged though.

In the meantime, we will continue to run the current version of Anthem, but move away from full seasons as the team works towards the future of Anthem. We’ll keep the game going with events, store refreshes, and revisiting past seasonal and cataclysm content – starting with our anniversary towards the end of the month.

What’s worrying here is, BioWare has no timetable or date to share, which means Anthem players are in for a long wait to finally play the game with BioWare’s real vision and whatnot.

This news also explains why Christmas decor is still in the game and we’re in February already.

Modern Warfare Season 2 Roadmap and Full Details Revealed

Following the past few days’ leak when it comes to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2, which starts tomorrow (February 11), Activision has today launched the full Modern Warfare Season 2 roadmap of content, as well as the trailer (which already got leaked).

In case you want to watch the trailer again, check it out below.

As for the Modern Warfare Season 2 roadmap, we’re going to get more than just two weapons, and even another new map within the season!

Aside from Rust, we’ll be getting Atlas Superstore and Khandor Hideout for multiplayer! Check out the official map descriptions straight from Activision below.

Rust – Standard Multiplayer and Gunfight (Launch Day)

The classic map returns! A small map for fast-paced combat, Rust brings the battle to an oil yard in the middle of the desert. The site of the Modern Warfare 2 Campaign mission, “Endgame”, may be just that for players who don’t learn the tricks to master this arid field of play. Utilize the environment for cover and grab the high ground and low ground to take advantage of your enemies.

Atlas Superstore – Standard Multiplayer (Launch Day)

Go shopping in Atlas Superstore, a new Multiplayer map that takes place in a supercenter warehouse that has been taken over by Al-Qatala forces. Battle in dense lanes of traffic, over fallen shelving, and throughout the shipping, receiving, and employee-only areas. Clean up on aisle six!

Khandor Hideout – Standard Multiplayer (Mid-Season)

[Redacted Intel]

Zhokov Boneyard – Ground War (Launch Day)

A resting place for discarded airplane parts, Zhokov Boneyard is a Ground War map in Verdansk. Traipse through this airplane junk yard and avoid the turbulence of the enemy team while capturing your objectives.

Bazaar – Gunfight (Launch Day)

A tightly contained cross-section of the streets of Urzikstan is turned into a battleground in Bazaar. Experience the tension-filled Gunfight while navigating a new zone of combat. The randomized Gunfight loadouts all have a chance to shine as the maps symmetrical layout offers opportunities for big moments and epic plays.

As for new game modes, players will be able to play Gunfight Tournaments, which will be live for a limited time, and will have 32 teams of duos going up in 2v2 gunfights.

For those keen on playing like the pros, the CDL or Call of Duty League Ruleset Playlist will be live tomorrow too. Expect specific maps, weapons, and modes to be altered in tune to how the pros play it. Read up on the official changes and ruleset here.

Mid-season, three new game modes are set to become available called Demolition, Infected Ground War, and NVG Reinforce.

Demolition (Mid-Season)

Similar to Search and Destroy, this respawn mode pits two teams against each other with the objective of attacking or destroying bomb sites. The attacking team must destroy both bomb sites within the time limit to win the round. Decimating one bomb site adds to your time. Destroy, defend, and be mindful of explosives in Demolition.

Infected Ground War (Mid-Season)

An outbreak has occurred in Ground War. Join up with your fellow Survivors to hold off the Infected horde until the time expires. Infected players will have limited loadouts but increased movement abilities, so be wary of their crafty play. If you do get infected, attack with the horde to assault and takedown any remaining Survivors in a large-scale match of Infected.

NVG Reinforce (Mid-Season)

Battle under the cover of darkness in the NVG Reinforce playlist. Reinforce is a hybrid objective mode that blends elements of Domination with Search & Destroy.

There are more modes planned by Infinity Ward to be made available during the course of Season 2. There are also new Trials and Missions, a new Battle Pass and lots more. First up, here’s what people will get for free with Battle Pass Season 2:

Battle Pass System Free Tiers: The Season Two Battle Pass system features two Free weapons: A lightweight and mobile assault rifle the Grau 5.56 (Tier 15) which excels at range and a powerful SMG, the Striker 45 (Tier 31), that has potential at longer ranges compared to its class with a moderate rate of fire. And along the free Tiers, players can earn up to 300 Call of Duty points, calling cards, weapon charms, and more.

Aside from the free stuff, there’s going to cosmetic items available for those who purchase the Modern Warfare Season 2 Battle Pass.

Battle Pass: Purchase the Battle Pass to get access to unlock up to 100 Tiers of content featuring over 100 items you can get by just playing. Unlocked at Tier 0, get Ghost alongside additional goods including a new Operator Mission instantly after picking up the Battle Pass. Simon “Ghost” Riley first originated in Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 and is a British special forces Operator and a commanding officer in Captain Price’s Task Force 141. He is an expert at clandestine tradecraft, sabotage, and infiltration. Alongside Ghost, players who purchase the Battle Pass will have access to weapon blueprints, XP tokens, Operator skins and challenges, watches, and the ability to earn up to 1,300 Call of Duty Points.

The Battle Pass will, of course, be complemented with new items in the in-game store.

Finally, for those interested in new Trials and Missions, read on below.

New Trials

Trials are solo ventures where players can earn a star ranking (up to three stars) which gives them XP. Four Trials will be available at Season Two launch:

Race (Launch Day)

Hop on an ATV and finish the race as fast as possible. Master the course to get your best time and hopefully earn a three-star ranking and some sweet rewards.

Pitcher (Launch Day)

A more explosive version of Cornhole has arrived. Practice your throwing skills with lethal equipment and toss as many Frags on target as possible within the time limit.

Gun Course 3.0 (Launch Day)

A quick decision isn’t always a good decision. Sharpen your decision making and eliminate the enemy as you face waves of hostiles mixed with civilians.

Clear the Area 2.0 (Launch Day)

Do your best in this live fire exercise. Find and eliminate all hostiles in the area of operations as quickly as possible.

New Missions

Earn rewards and XP by completing daily challenges and missions. Plus, new Operator missions to earn unique gear for your Operator are available through the Battle Pass. New in the Missions & Challenges tab in Barracks this Season are Special Ops missions. These can be activated in Barracks in the Missions tab for XP rewards earned during Co-Op play.

Whew! That’s a load of stuff, no? Once the patch is out tomorrow that enables Season 2, we’ll let our readers know ASAP. Given the content, expect a heavy download tomorrow, folks! Hopefully, there’s no errors that come along with it.

World War Z Difficulty Spike on Consoles Not Intended, Caused by Crossplay Integration

Those playing World War Z on consoles, you might have noticed a sudden World War Z difficulty spike when playing the game. Well, as it turns out, you’re not imaginging things, and the game is a bit harder on consoles as confirmed by developer Saber Interactive.

Over on Twitter, Saber Interactive confirmed this and mentioned that this was caused by integrating crossplay, which is set to come in the next few weeks.

https://twitter.com/wwzthegame/status/1225727423163097089?s=20

Hello Survivors! If you’ve noticed a sudden difficulty spike on consoles, don’t worry! This was an unforeseen consequence of preparing the platforms for Crossplay. We will restore the correct balancing shortly. Crossplay is only a few weeks away now!

No exact date on when crossplay will be enabled, but we’re guessing it’ll be a while since they did say “weeks.”

In other World War Z news, don’t forget to check out the new patch released last week that includes a new set of character skins.

Modern Warfare Season 2 Trailer Leaks, Shows the New Maps & More

While Activision itself might have leaked a mess of details regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2, this time, it’s Xbox’s turn to accidentally let something slip! The Modern Warfare Season 2 trailer has leaked, and it names the maps and more.

Modern Warfare Season 2 trailer:

The trailer, which is the official one most likely set to be released later today or tomorrow, names the maps included, which include two maps for 6v6 (ot 10v10), a new Gunfight map and a new Ground War map. In total, we’re getting four maps in Season 2 which are: Rust, Atlas Superstore for the regular modes, Bazaar for Gunfight, and Zhokov Boneyard for Ground War.

These maps will, of course, be free for everyoe, and will complement the two new guns nicely. Infinity Ward also mentioned “new ways to play” in the trailer, which could be  connected to Activision’s tease that “entirely new experiences” to play set within the Modern Warfare universe is incoming. If so, this could very well be the battle royale mode rumored to launch in early this year.

Modern Warfare Season 2 launches February 11 on all platforms, and once the patch is live, we’ll be sure to let people know ASAP.

What are you excited about in Season 2? Let us know down in the comments.

Ubisoft Says PS5 Backward Compatibility Could Run “Almost” All Previous Consoles Catalogue

Although the company didn’t elaborate on how far back the PS5 Backward Compatibility would go.

Speaking during their recent quarterly financial earnings call, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot discussed briefly about next-gen consoles, empathizing on the importance of backwards compatibility on the new systems.

Those consoles will be running almost all the back catalog of the previous consoles. It will be something new in the industry. It will help the old generations to continue to be big consoles on the market for years to come

The statement is pretty vague in it’s meaning, especially with the PlayStation 5 since everyone assumes the system will be able to play, in the very least, all PS4 titles when it releases. Still, the use of the word “almost” indicates that there may be some titles not being compatible with the systems. Sony hasn’t revealed any plans or released any official statement concerning it, though current rumors suggest that the PlayStation 5 will indeed be able to play games not just from the PlayStation 4 era, but as far back as the original PlayStation 1. We aren’t sure how they are hoping to accomplish this, but with modders capable of developing a PS3 emulator we don’t see how the guys behind the system won’t be able to do it even better.

As for Microsoft, it’s safe to assume the support for old titles stretching as far back as the original Xbox will continue to grow going into next-gen as they have been really supportive of the feature during this generation. Phil Spencer himself stated the reason behind next-gen Xbox being named Xbox is because they want the system to be the best place to play all Xbox titles as they look for ways to improve old titles with newer specs. So backward compatibility is without a question going to play a major role for Microsoft next-gen.

Report: Destiny 2 Tower Loading Time Is Longer and Here’s a “Fix”

Have you experienced that going to the Tower in Destiny 2 seems to take a lot longer than before? If so, it’s not just your imagination, as the Destiny 2 Tower loading time has increased, and we now know why.

Over on the Destiny subreddit, user Cinobite has posted that since the last update (patch 2.7.1.), Bungie seems to have changed how loading players into the Tower works by loading users in batches instead of solo loading like before. Of course, this wouldn’t fly without evidence, and fortunately we have just that. Check out the short clip below, and keep an ear out for the when the character loads, where you’ll hear a lot of other players load in as well.

When they changed the “no more black screen” issue for activities by not loading people in until everyone was ready, it changed the tower loading, if you pay attention, we’re not loading in per player like we used to, we’re loading in in batches

This means we’re all waiting in the load screen until the slowest person is ready. Watch the radar and listen to the audio and you’ll see now that when you load in you get dumped in with 5-10 other players at the exact same time

Yep, you can definitely hear the other players loading in at the same time, right? The user cites that he now has six-minute load times on the PS4 using an SSD (solid state drive), while others have mentioned how it takes them 10 seconds to load to the Tower at night, but 3-4 minutes by day.

If you want to “fix” this yourself, user Cayde-4043 suggested that it’s actually faster to go into your console’s settings and change it, than having to wait fort everything to load.

Another user tried this method, and claims it worked since it only took him 20 seconds to load into the Tower by changing the time.

Is this a cost-cutting move by Bungie to save on resources or something else? We’re hoping it gets sorted soon. Now, while this isn’t game-breaking at all, it does dampen the fun of doing missions and going to the Tower for bounties and whatnot.

Anthem Christmas Decors Are Still Up and It’s February 2020

While it might not have been the mega-hit BioWare and EA were hoping it would be, Anthem is still alive and being supported by the studio currently with weekly event updates and the like. Back in December, the studio rolled out the Icetide season which also brought in Christmas festivities to the game.

In perhaps a perfect example of the game’s state, the Christmas decor put up in-game by BioWare back in December, is still present in the game and it’s February 2020! Maybe the studio is hard at work on the next season and launching it soon, and they wanted to just change everything in one go? Regardless of reason, it doesn’t make the game look good — especially if you think about how other similar games are already prepping to launch Valentine’s Day events.

If others think this is BioWare abandoning the game, a reliable rumor surfaced last year that BioWare and EA are rebooting Anthem. While there’s no timetable for that (since it’s a rumor after all), I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens this year and coincides with the release of the next-gen consoles.

While BioWare has already released a patch for Anthem this year, let’s hope that the next one not only fixes bugs, but also brings in new content and maybe update the decors a bit too.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 DLC Introduces Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku

The first Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 DLC is dropping this month as the Bandai Namco revealed today the first couple of fighters. To no one’s surprise, Ultra Instinct Goku is joining the ever-growing Dragon Ball FighterZ roster later this Spring.

For those who don’t know, Ultra Instinct is yet another transformation that Goku attains in the latest Dragon Ball series, Super. The transformation is one that is very hard to come by, that even the gods in Super themselves have had trouble learning it. Basically, the transformation allows users to react automatically in situations without them even acknowledging it. In most cases, as shown in the anime, we can see Goku dodging attacks with little to no effort. Outside of this, his hair is also silver/white along with the aura he emits. We’ve known about the character for some time now as he was teased back in one of the V-jump issues, similar to how Android 17 was. You can catch the trailer for Ultra Instinct Goku down below to get a better idea of the playstyle this version of the character will have to offer.

He will be released sometime this Spring. As for what’s dropping soon, players can expect the Potara fusion DLC character Kefla, who was also introduced in the Dragon Ball Super series. Similar to Vegito (Vegeta+Goku,) Kefla is the fusion of both Universe’s 6 Caulifla and Kale through the use of the Kai’s Potara earrings. The character has her own unique set of moves that a mix of the original fused characters, and boasts quite a large power level, so much so that Goku ended up resorting to using Ultra Instinct to defeat her in the tournament of power.  Season 3 owners of the FighterZ Pass will be able to play Kefla starting on February 26th, while non-pass players can purchase her separately two days later.

There are currently three more characters slated to release later this year, although those are yet to be announced. Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch along with the Season 3 pass.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Galactic Assault Being Neglected Acknowledged by DICE

While DICE’s post-launch support of Star Wars Battlefront 2 in terms of new content like heroes, modes and gameplay balance passes, the same can’t be said for the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Galactic Assault mode support.

Over on Twitter, user neednojacket posted a thread mentioning how DICE has not released new content to the mode in the past 18 months, which is absurd if you think about it. Fortunately, DICE  employee Ben Walke (posting under his username F8RGE), acknowledged the situation, and while he didn’t promise anything specific, he did mention that they are working on various stuff that fans have been requesting, which will be revealed when the “time is right.”

Quite a lot of people have been asking us to bring more OT content to the game, to bring it to Co-Op and to Supremacy – so that’s what we are doing.

Before that it was the likes of the Droideka, Commando, Clone Legions and various other bits.

There’s various other things that we are working on that you have been requesting as well, and those will be revealed when the timing is right.

Those not familiar with Galactic Assault, it’s a large-scale game mode in Battlefront 2, which features 40-player matches that involve heroes, vehicles, infantry and more.

Walke does have a point, as the studio has been delivering the goods when it comes to bringing content that the fans are asking for. Speaking of which, the studio has released a new patch for Battlefront 2 just last week, which introduced new heroes and more.

Let’s hope DICE announces more Galactic Assault new content soon.

Just a few weeks ago, Bungie released Destiny 2 patch 2.7.1 which saw quite a lot of gameplay changes and tweaks. Well, get ready for more! Bungie has revealed the Destiny 2 upcoming updates, which include a smaller set of fixes — at least from what’s revealed so far.

Set to be released this February 11, which is also the start of the Crimson Days event,  Bungie will roll out Destiny 2 hotfix 2.7.1.1., and here’s what’s in it so far:

HOTFIX 2.7.1.1 AND RESOLVED ISSUES
Next Tuesday, February 11, we will release Destiny 2 Hotfix 2.7.1.1. This update will resolve some issues currently affecting players. Here is another preview of some of the issues that will be resolved:
      • The Efrideet’s Gift Triumph will retroactivity unlock for players who turn in 50 Iron Banner packages in Season of the Dawn.
      • The Get Closer pursuit will no longer have its progress reset when resetting Infamy. This is retroactive and will auto-complete for any player who has already been above Mythic rank this season.
      • A Season 9 Iron Banner Triumph has been added that tracks purchased packages from Lord Saladin. This is also retroactive.

Speaking of the Crimson Days event, Bungie has already listed some of the known issues about the event before it’s even out!

Crimson Days event known issues:

Here are a few known issues about the event:
      • Players will be unable to accept Lord Shaxx’s “Fire of the Crimson Days” emblem if they already have this emblem in their inventory. Deleting the emblem will allow them to accept the new one and complete the “Welcome to the Crimson Days” Milestone.
      • Players who are removed from a match and rejoin will not be able to respawn until the current round ends. These player will see “Waiting for Ally to Revive” for the remaining duration of the round.
      • Crimson Days bounties do not advance the Crucible Bounty Vendor Challenge.

In addition to that, here’s the list of known issues reported by the Destiny 2 community:

CURRENT KNOWN ISSUES
While we continue investigating various known issues, here is a list of the latest issues that were reported to us in our #Help Forum:
      • Players are continuing to report increased Tower load times after Update 2.7.1.
      • The Playin’ the Odds emblem doesn’t drop and cannot be reacquired from Collections. While we investigate, the only way to receive this emblem right now is to reset your Infamy rank three times in one Season.
      • In the Bright Future quest, Orbs of Light that are collected sometimes are not accurately reflected in the quest’s progress. Some players have reported that deleting or claiming a bounty may help with progression issues.

Expect the patch or hotfix (most likely it’ll be a server-side fix) to be released during the maintenance period. Once it’s out and we know more details, we’ll let our readers know.
