Watch This Call of Duty Zombies Map Recreated in Dreams

If you’ve been keeping tabs on PlayStation news, chances are you’ve already seen some of the awesome user-created content in Media Molecule’s Dreams. It seems someone who’s a Call of Duty Zombies fan decided he’ll take a stab at recreating a Call of Duty Zombies map in Dreams!

Take a look at this fantastic creation below of Nacht der Untoten, which is, if I’m not mistaken, the first-ever Zombies map for the franchise.

No word on what the future of this project is, and I suspect Activision won’t take it lying down. That said, it’s a wonderful demonstration of just what players can do in Dreams. Who knows? Maybe the next big hit will come off it, no? Especially since there is still a multiplayer and VR update in the works that will eventually come out.

In other Call of Duty news, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3 is hitting tomorrow, and here’s a roadmap of the new content set to come in the season. The new season is set to introduce new maps, collectibles, and other content that will be detailed in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3 Patch Notes. We’ll be sure to post those once they go live.

The PS5 Controller “DualSense” Looks Even Greater in Other Colors

Are you not digging the official color scheme for the PS5 controller called the “DualSense“? Well, you’re in luck as many mock-up images have already surfaced, showing the endless coloring possibilities.

Personally, I’m digging the white look on the controller, but many have already been quick to call the controller “ugly” based on the current colors. Obviously, the controller is going to become available with different schemes, much like every other iteration before it. However, I have to say, looking at some of the mock-ups that are making their way around the internet, and this is undoubtedly going to be one sexy controller.

We’ll start with a basic, all-black one that is in-line with past Dualshock controllers. There are a few different designs that players have made, though the second one down is my personal favorite.

What makes the one above so good is that it maintains the individual coloring on the iconic PS Buttons and the Logo.

This one is featured in all grey with dark red on the lower section. That red light bar really brings it out.

These next ones show off the other color options, some of which will most likely happen. As a side note: If you happen to know the exact source, please let us know! Thanks, Facebook followers, in the meantime.

I like these, and as we pointed out, we are sure Sony will offer a wide variety of different colors, though it may not be right at launch. Don’t be surprised if we have many third-party retailers printing out their own controller sleeves.

DayZ Creative Director Joins DayZ Creator Dean Hall for a “Massive” New Survival Project

In case you didn’t know, the original idea man behind DayZ was former Bohemian Interactive developer Dean “Rocket” Hall. While he’s already set up shop in a new studio called RocketWerkz, it seems another DayZ dev is joining him, and that’s the former Creative Director of DayZ, Brian Hicks.

This was announced by Hall over on Twitter, where he also shared that Hicks will be an Executive Producer at the studio.

Super excited to announce today is the FIRST DAY that I am back working with the amazing @Hicks_206. He has joined @rocketwerkz as our Executive Producer on our massive (unannounced) survival game. We are about to start a play test! Incredible to be back working with you again!

Aside from releasing space station sim Stationeers and its sequel, and a VR game titled Out of Ammo, Dean Hall has left the survival genre he created alone. Well, it seems that’s about to change soon, though we don’t know where the studio is in the development stage.

If both devs’ history is any indication, this survival game will be multiplayer-focused, and will most likely be released on PC in early access form. The big question here is: will people embrace another survival game at this stage, though? We’ll know for sure once the studio formally announces their “massive” survival game.

PS5 Controller Revealed, Called the “DualSense”

While we already saw the Xbox Series X and what it can do, Sony has announced the PS5 controller and some of its new features today! Called the “DualSense,” the new controller has a different color scheme than the DualShock 4, and a few other key differences.

Sony, for the most part, decided to keep the original button layout and the DualShock design. However, the DualSense will have haptic feedback (as mentioned before), a new “Create” button, which replaces the “Share” button on the PS4 controller, the ability to chat without a mic, and even a two-tone color scheme!

Aside from our first-look, Jim Ryan, President & CEO, Sony Interactive Entertainment had a statement for the gaming community.

“DualSense marks a radical departure from our previous controller offerings and captures just how strongly we feel about making a generational leap with PS5. The new controller, along with the many innovative features in PS5, will be transformative for games – continuing our mission at PlayStation to push the boundaries of play, now and in the future. To the PlayStation community, I truly want to thank you for sharing this exciting journey with us as we head toward PS5’s launch in Holiday 2020. We look forward to sharing more information about PS5, including the console design, in the coming months.”

To date, while there’s a global pandemic happening around the world, Sony has said that the PS5 release date is still set for Holiday 2020.

Modern Warfare Season 3 Roadmap and Trailer Released

While today’s patch that brings in the Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare isn’t out just yet, Infinity Ward has released the Modern Warfare Season 3 roadmap and a new trailer too. Check both out below.

There are four new multiplayer maps coming this season, as well as Quads coming to Call of Duty: Warzone, a new Operator, new skins, and lots more!

We’re keeping an eye out on the patch, and once it’s out, we’ll be sure to let our readers know! Of course, we’re also looking forward to the patch notes and what’s in it.

Apex Legends Update 1.33 Now Out, Bring Old Ways Event

As expected, Respawn Entertainment has rolled out a new Apex Legends patch today for the The Old Ways Event. Console gamers will see this as Apex Legends update 1.33, and it’s hefty 3.7GB download. Check out the Apex Legends update 1.33 patch notes below.

DUOS AND MAP ROTATION

Starting on April 7th, Duos will be added to the game alongside Trios, as well a permanent map rotation that gives players the ability to play Duos or Trios on Kings Canyon and Worlds Edge.

Since the launch of Apex Legends, we’ve introduced Duos a few times as a limited-time mode, and overall it’s had a positive effect on the game’s health in regards to queue times and gameplay systems in addition to reinforcing teamplay (something that is paramount to every design decision we make for Apex Legends). So with the 4.2 update we are excited to be adding it as a permanent mode alongside Trios (Duos will not be available in Ranked).

Now, what about Solos? When we introduced Solos as a limited-time mode last year we saw it actually negatively impacted the game, especially when it came to new player retention. We’ve also purposely designed Legends and their abilities to compliment teamplay and squad composition, but when played Solo some Legend abilities become useless. These are just some of the reasons we decided not to include Solos in today’s update. We’re still exploring ways to allow a Solo experience, but for now grab a friend (or two) and jump into the arena.

We know players want to experience map variety when playing Apex Legends, so the 4.2 update will introduce map rotation that will include the current version of World’s Edge, Kings Canyon Season 2, and Kings Canyon After Dark. Ranked play will remain on the map dedicated to where we are in the current Series, which is currently Kings Canyon.

We want to keep queue times as short as possible, which is why we decided to go with rotation vs. selection as we believe selection could have a very negative impact on queue times across the world. We’ll be keeping the maps on a fairly quick rotation and tweaking it as we study the data and listen to your feedback. We’ll also be introducing other versions of previously released Kings Canyon and World’s Edge maps into the rotation from time to time to keep it fresh.

NEW TOWN TAKEOVER – BLOODHOUND’S TRIALS

Dive into Bloodhound’s Trials, where you and your squad battle against a horde of prowlers and claim high-tier loot as your reward. But beware the most dangerous game: fellow Legends who want to scavenge those goods for themselves. In moments of quiet, don’t forget to explore the enclosure, especially with a certain hunter at your side.

BALANCE CHANGES

G7 Scout

  • Reduced headshot scale from 2.0 -> 1.75.
  • Reduced leg shot scale from 0.9 -> 0.75.
  • Slightly reduced projectile speed.

L-STAR

  • LSTAR will reset its viewkick pattern much more quickly to avoid horizontal recoil feeling like it goes in an unpredictable direction while feathering the trigger.
  • Reduced time before overheat 2.4 -> 2.2 (25 shots -> 23 shots)

 

Kraber

  • Increased headshot damage multiplier from 2.05 -> 3.0. Now it should always down a target with a headshot, even if they are a fortified character with a level 3 helmet and a full evo shield.

 

Sniper Ammo

  • Reduced ammo per pickup from 10 -> 8
  • Reduced inventory stack size from 20 -> 16

 

Low Profile

  • Limb shots on Low-Profile Legends now deal as much damage as body shots.

 

Revenant – Player feedback that Revenant wasn’t feeling viable enough has been loud and clear and game data showed the same. Our goal is to bring his effectiveness up to parity with other Legends.

  • Silence
    • Increased duration of status effect from 10s -> 20s
    • Silence now disables Gibraltar’s Gun Shield.
    • Increased the duration of area of effect from 5s -> 10s
    • Silence has 2 charges now
  • Death Totem
    • Characters are now respawned with 50 health (or whatever health they had when they activated it, if lower) instead of 1

Removed Low Profile

Lifeline

  • New secondary passive: Lifeline can access secret compartments with more loot on Blue Bins.
    • Blue bins are found randomly replacing ordinary bins. These rare bins will have a secondary compartment that only Lifeline can open.
    • The secondary compartment will always contain some mixture of health items, weapon attachments and knockdown shields.

 

Wraith

  • Portals will now disappear after four seconds if both ends are outside the Circle. This change was made to combat players exploiting the Portal to avoid taking damage outside the Ring.

 

Evo Armor

  • Reduced the amount of damage required to evolve.
    • Blue Armor damage requirement reduced from 100 -> 75
    • Purple Armor damage requirement reduced from 300 -> 150
    • Red Armor damage requirement reduced from 500 -> 400

 

Kings Canyon and Kings Canyon After Dark

  • Increase to the total amount of loot items that spawn in the map.

 

BUG FIXES / QUALITY OF LIFE

  • Fixed bug for cases where matches results would not process correctly after players were disconnected.
  • Fixes for some script errors.
  • Fixed bug for cases where taller Legends could get stuck in geometry after using Wraith’s portal.
  • Fixed bug for cases where players that were under Revenant’s Death Protection could still be healed by Lifeline’s D.O.C. drone and Wattson’s Interceptor Pylon.
  • Fixed a bug where mantling with Wraith would cause the camera to clip through the character.
  • [PS4]Fixed lighting in some interior areas on World’s Edge that were appearing too dark.
  • Fixed bug where sometimes players would lose aim assist after being hit by Revenant’s Silence ability.
  • Fix for cases where players would not receive assist credit when using Crypto’s Drone to scan enemies.
  • Fixed issue where sometimes players could hear and in rare cases, be hit by Revenant’s abilities while in the Firing Range when he’s not there.
  • Fix for some cases where the Circle would end in a bad or invalid location.
  • Fix to help reduce cases of invisible doors.
  • Fixed issue with Bangalore’s Viceroy skin where the legs were showing the wrong skin while mantling.
  • Fixed bug for cases when Revenant places his ULT Death Totem on the train, a player is respawned to it while on the train, and the train is moving, the player could be respawned somewhere else on the map or even off the map.
  • Energize charge for the Sentinel Sniper rifle can now be cancelled with Y or Triangle button.
  • Fixed bug for cases where Dive Trails were visible before exiting the Drop Ship.
  • Fixes for map bug related to exploitable hiding spots and bad geo.

Red Dead Online Update This Week – Double XP on Showdown Modes & More

Rockstar Games has rolled out a new Red Dead Online update this week, and it brings double XP on Showdown Modes, Daily Challenge Streak Gift and more.

Red Dead Online update this week summary:

  • Double XP is now available in any Showdown Series, Showdown Mode, or Race
  • Any player who logs in by April 14th will receive 5 free Gold Bars
  • A special gift will be rewarded to any player reaching a 3-day Daily Challenge streak, including: 10 Special Health Cures, 10 Special Miracle Tonics, 10 Special Snake Oils and 20 Incendiary Buckshot Slugs

DICE Giving Away Battlefield 5 Company Coin Login Rewards, Game Giveaways on Streams

While there hasn’t been a lot of good Battlefield 5 news the past few days, that should change today. DICE has announced that the studio will be giving away Battlefield 5 Company Coin login rewards for players, as well as giving away the game via streams!

This was announced in the This Week in Battlefield V Community posts on Reddit. Note that the game giveaway starts Friday, April 10, while the Battlefield 5 Company Coin login rewards giveaway starts today.

Stream Drops – We’ll be popping into random Twitch/Mixer/FB streams playing BFV and giving the streamers codes for Battlefield V for giveaways

No Man’s Sky Update 2.40 Live, Introduces Mechs (Update)

No Man’s Sky update 2.40 has just been deployed, bringin with it the surprise introduction of mechs! The update weights a little over 11GB on the PlayStation 4 & 9GB on Xbox One (Steam version yet to deploy),  and while no patch notes have gone live yet, players are starting to see some noticeable changes.

For starters, there are new craftables, which are:

Orbital Exocraft Materialiser – Allows players to summon any Exocraft while in the same system of their freighter. To build it, you need 3 warp cells, 150 gold, and 50 ionised cobalt.

Electrical Cloacking Unit – This craftable will now automatically hide wires that are scene on base building!

Minotaur Heavy Exosuit Hybrid – This one happened to leak earlier via trailer, but No Man’s Sky not has Mechs! There’s no quest lines tied to this, all you need to do is simply travel to the Nexus and trunks in the required materials to claim it. Easy enough.

There are more changed that have been introduced, though as stated, Hello Games have yet to release the patch notes. We will be sure to update this post once the studio  releases the official No Man’s Sky update 2.40 patch notes, so make sure to check back later.

THE MINOTAUR

  • Added a new planetary Exocraft, the Minotaur Heavy Exosuit Hybrid.
  • Acquire the plans for the Minotaur Geobay at the Construction Research Station aboard the Space Anomaly.
  • The Minotaur allows exploration in even the most extreme environments, with a unique hazard protection upgrade that keeps the pilot safe from environmental damage.
  • The Minotaur comes with its own set of upgrades and technologies.
  • Blueprints are available to purchase from Iteration: Perses on the Space Anomaly.
  • Upgrade Modules can be found at the Exocraft Technology Merchant at your local Space Station.
  • Other specialist Minotaur abilities include the ability to upgrade its mining laser with Terrain Manipulation capabilities, and the ability to collect or harvest rare planetary resources such as Storm Crystals without leaving the safety of the cabin.

EXOCRAFT HAZARD CHANGES

  • Exocraft no-longer grant immunity to planetary hazards by default. External environmental conditions will now drain the player’s hazard protection, though at a reduced rate from on planet.
  • Specialist technologies have been made available at Iteration: Perses on the Space Anomaly that allow Exocraft to be upgraded to prevent environmental damage

NEW EXOCRAFT TECHNOLOGIES

  • Perses now also offers the Icarus Fuel System, an Exocraft upgrade that recharges the engine during daylight.
  • The Exocraft Scanner has been improved. Performing a standard scan will now reveal all nearby points of interest – i.e. all those that would be revealed by using the Analysis Visor.
  • Added an Orbital Exocraft Materialiser. This is a new freighter module that will allow all Exocraft to be summoned while the freighter is in-system.

EXOCRAFT QUALITY OF LIFE AND OTHER FIXES

  • Added new decal options to Exocraft customisation.
  • Exocraft cockpits now match the customisation of their exterior.
  • Improved the light cast by the headlights of all Exocraft.
  • Increased the base speed of the Roamer, Nomad and Pilgrim exocraft.
  • Tweaked a number of Exocraft cameras to improve visibility.
  • Increased the speed and acceleration of the Nautilon submarine, and tweaked its camera positioning.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Exocraft fuel efficiency stat not to increase fuel efficiency.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Exocraft speedometer to flash during a storm.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented items in the Exocraft inventory from being available for crafting.
  • Added a coordinates readout to the Exocraft HUD data.
  • Tweaked some early game rewards to give players access to an Exocraft earlier in a playthrough of the Artemis story.
  • Reduced the blueprint and construction cost of some Geobay blueprints.
  • Improved the Guide entry for Exocraft, including tweaking when it becomes unlocked and adding a mission to the Guide page to walk players through the Exocraft unlock and upgrading process.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Exocraft mining laser to be ineffective when used on minable objects.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Exocraft to turn invisible when saving and charting at a waypoint.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the object health indicator to either appear in the wrong position or not appear at all when mining objects in an Exocraft.
  • Fixed a soft-lock that could occur when the Inventory auto-opens to the Exocraft page and no Exocraft is present in the system.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the position and icon of the network player marker to be wrong when the player is in an Exocraft.
  • Fixed an issue where Exocraft could sometimes fall through planetary terrain.
  • Fixed an issue where the Exocraft customisation camera could be incorrectly positioned when swapping between Exocraft types.
  • Fixed an issue where exiting an Exocraft could cause a fade to black transition if the ship camera was set to first person.

GRAPHICAL IMPROVEMENTS AND OPTIONS

  • GTAO: improved performance by avoiding oversampling on distant objects.
  • GTAO: modified attenuation heuristic to avoid over-darkening of thin objects, particularly noticeable on grass.
  • GTAO: modified reprojection filter to improve AO temporal stability. This reduces flickering on moving objects, particularly noticeable on grass.
  • 3D rendering resolution can be now scaled as a factor of the window resolution. This means UI can render at a higher resolution to the 3D game view, offering more options for improving performance while keeping UI crisp. Additionally, the in-game resolution may be scaled larger than the actual screen resolution, allowing for greater image quality than possible when rendering at the monitor’s native resolution.

BASE BUILDING QUALITY OF LIFE

  • Added a new base part, the Electrical Cloaking Unit. This can be placed to hide power lines when outside of build mode.
  • Added the ability for console players not using VR to disable local base complexity limits (PC players could already adjust the Base Quality setting). This may come at a performance cost when viewing large, player-made, structures.
  • Added a Quick Menu option to immediately return to the Space Anomaly when visiting a featured base.
  • Fixed an issue that caused incorrect planet information to be displayed when previewing bases in a different galaxy.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause players to become stuck when warping to a featured base if the base computer had not loaded in time.
  • Fixed a number of soft locks that could occur when interacting with base parts that were outside the local complexity limit.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue that prevented AI ships from ever landing on player-owned landing pads.
  • Fixed an issue with the transition to a new galaxy that caused it to be entirely white.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the Blaze Javelin from being cycled while cooling down.
  • Increased the distance at which damaged frigate icons are displayed on the ship HUD and compass.
  • Added a timeout sequence to the start of Nexus missions to discourage players from going AFK on board the Anomaly after readying up.
  • Extended the time during which weekend missions are active to 9AM GMT on Mondays.
  • Added some additional graphic warnings when low on hazard protection or life support.
  • Fixed an issue that caused diplomatic frigates to award units as a substance rather than directly.
  • Fixed an issue with the trails on certain Royal ships not lining up correctly with their engines.
  • Fixed a number of graphical glitches that could occur when warping in a starship.
  • Fixed a graphical issue that affected the Bytebeat envelope rendering on console.
  • Improved the readability of the currency readout when browsing tech trees.
  • Added a recovery fix for players who lost their Void Egg after they come back through the Portal at the end of the final Starbirth quest.
  • Fixed a rare crash in the lighting system.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the audio environment to be set incorrectly while on Atlas Stations.
  • Fixed an issue where Armoured Clams could be destroyed with the Terrain Manipulator.
  • Fixed an issue where Weekend Event missions could sometimes have partially encrypted descriptions at the Nexus.
  • Fixed an issue where player models could sometimes inherit their scale from ships or Exocraft.

SMITE Update 11.37 Brings the Grim Omens Bonus Update

Just a few weeks ago, Hi-Rez Studios has released the big Grim Omens update for SMITE, and same as before, there’s a bonus patch set to roll out after two weeks. Well, that day is today. SMITE update 11.37 is out and it brings the Grim Omens Bonus Update.

SMITE update 11.37 patch notes:

BONUS BALANCE LIVE APRIL 7
Bonus Balance is being handled slightly differently this update for clarity reasons. Many players have been confused about what is going live when, and we are changing our process to improve that. Bonus Balance going forward will only be meta nerfs for top gods.
We are also doing a series of community, marketing, and in-game text changes to help better convey the concept of bonus balance.

 

CAMAZOTZ
Ever since his leap range buff Camazotz has been a dominant force in high MMR ranked and competitive play. This new found mobility has allowed Camazotz to either escape or engage in for more situations. His sustain has been nerfed recently and now his power buff will be as well. 20 bonus power at low levels is pushing him into an overpowered state in the solo lane. This change should make him a more reasonable matchup in solo while keeping him as a viable jungler.

SCREECH
  • Decreased Physical Power buff from Echo from 20/25/30/35/40 to 10/15/20/25/30
KUKULKAN
Kukulkan continues to slither through his nerfs and maintain sky-high stats. Making whirlwind slightly more reliable has improved his playability massively, and so we have continuously adjusted him. Following up some damage from the last update, we are now focusing on his mobility. Slipstream was regarded as a weak ability for years, but after multiple buffs it is now one of the most versatile movement abilities in the game. We are increasing the cooldown and decreasing the slow immunity window to give opponents a better chance at catching this slippery god.

SLIPSTREAM
  • Increased Cooldown from 15/14/13/12/11s to 15s at all ranks
  • Decreased Slow Immunity from 1s to 0.6s
PERSEPHONE
Persephone is a unique balance case, touting quite high pick/ban and win rates at high MMR, and some of the worst stats in the game everywhere else. Because of this we applied a shift last update to make Persephone’s Harvest ability slightly more usable for your average player, paired with multiple nerfs. Players were concerned that those changes buffed her when she did not need buffs due to her pro level performance. We want to keep the usability changes but agree with nerfing her at pro play, so we are adding another strong nerf this update.

GRASP OF DEATH
  • Decreased projectile speed from 150 to 120
YEMOJA
Yemoja received a group of nerfs during the 7.1 update and we have been closely monitoring her stats ever since. She continues to be one the top banned gods, highly played, and maintaining over 50% win rate so we are looking to nerf her again. In this round we are making sure to target Yemoja’s offense as well as her defense. Magical Power scaling reductions across the kit should ensure players can’t abuse this guardian in the mage role, and decreasing the slow duration at high ranks should make her easier to play around in the team-fight stage.

BOUNCING BUBBLE
  • Decreased Magical Power Scaling on Bubble Damage from 40% to 30%
  • Adjusted Slow Duration on Bubble from 1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8/2 to 1.4s at all ranks

MOONSTRIKE
  • Decreased Magical Power Scaling on Moonstrike Inner Damage from 45% to 40%

MENDING WATERS
  • Decreased Magical Power Scaling on Mending Water Heal from 20% to 15%
  • Decreased Magical Power Scaling on Mending Water Shield from 20% to 15%

FIFA 20 Update 1.18 Released

EA Vancouver has released a new FIFA 20 patch and it’s live now on PS4 and Xbox One. Console gamers will see this as FIFA 20 update 1.18, and it brings a bunch of bug fixes and even gameplay changes. Gameplay

Made the following changes:

  • Further increased the impact of the Overload Ball Side D-Pad Tactic on in-game Stamina.
  • Decreased the impact of the Team Press D-Pad Tactic on in-game Stamina.
    • This has been decreased to have the same impact that was experienced prior to Title Update 12.

CONMEBOL Competitions

Made the following changes:

  • Added Guarani and Barcelona SC to CONMEBOL competitions.
  • Updates to multiple stadia, teams, kits, and presentation packages.

Visuals

Made the following changes:

  • Updates to multiple kits, stadia, and ad boards.

The Division 2 Update 1.21 Now Out, Here’s the Changes in TU8.5

Following last week’s patch preview for The Division Title Update 8.5 (TU8.5), Ubisoft Massive has released the patch today! Console gamers will see this as The Division 2 update 1.21. Clocking in at just 1GB on PS4, this patch introduces a bunch of gameplay tweaks.

The Division 2 update 1.21 patch notes:

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue causing the stack acquisition of “Striker’s Gamble” to be inconsistent.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to be unable to revive other agents.
  • Fixed an issue causing the revive UI to disappear if a player was killed too fast.
  • Fixed an issue causing “Aggressive Recon” and “Crossbow Expert” talents of the “Tip of the Spear” Gear Set to trigger in the DZ Safe House or DZ Control Points.
  • Fixed an issue causing the Joyride weapon skin to not be applied to “The Stinger” LMG.
  • Fixed an issue causing League Reward Caches to be contaminated when leveling up in the Dark Zone.
  • Fixed an issue causing the Exotic BTSU Gloves to always roll at a minimum roll range from certain sources.
  • Fixed an issue causing the “Short Circuit” buff to not restart after the cooldown has expired for the Hard Wired Gear Set.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to be able to gain infinite ammunition.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to be able to gain more than intended Operation Dark Hour keys.
  • Temporarily removing Warhounds from the first mission beat in the Manning National Zoo Main Mission.
    • This workaround prevents Warhounds to get stuck on the roof in the Manning National Zoo. A proper fix for this issue is scheduled for TU9.
  • Fixed an issue causing the checkpoint for Heroic Difficulty Darpa Research Lab Main Mission to be missing.
  • Fixed an issue causing the checkpoint for Heroic Difficulty Pentagon Main Mission to be missing.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to receive self-damage when killing an enemy player with the Full Flag debuff from the True Patriot Gear Set.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the Season Level 60 and 65 rewards to be incorrect under certain circumstances.
    • We are adding these rewards to players inventory if they were not correctly delivered at level 60 and 65.

 


Gameplay changes

  • Control Points can now be reset by changing Global Difficulty.
    • Changing Directives will not reset Control Points.
  • League UI
    • The League UI should now be more intuitive when switching between week one and two.

 


Balance Changes

NPCs

BTSU Support Station:

  • Will now check line of sight between support station and NPCs more frequently.
  • Decreased tick rate of Support Station healing to 2 seconds (up from 1.5 seconds).
  • Elite Support Station now only provides overheal once per NPC.
  • The Support Station heal amount is now capped.
  • Support Stations no longer heal while affected by EMP / disruption effects.

 

Warhound Grenadier:

  • Increasing windup warning of triple shoot of Warhound Grenadier.
  • Increasing aftershoot delay of triple shoot of Warhound Grenadier.
  • Slightly increasing cooldown of moving shoot of Warhound Grenadier

 

Warhound Minigun:

  • Adjusting Warhound Minigun behavior to flank less frequently and to maintain more distance to the players.
  • Adjusting Warhound Minigun to path less close to players.
  • Increasing intention icon duration of 360 spin from Warhound Minigun to 2.5 seconds (up from 2)
  • Reducing 360 spin from Warhound Minigun to only 2 spins (down from 3)
  • Reducing range of 360 spin of Warhound Minigun to 30m (down from 70m).

 

Tank archetype reaction to Hive / Turret:

  • Adding more distance checks so Tanks don’t rush at a hive next to a player.
  • Reducing threat limit so Tanks don’t switch targets too suddenly.
  • Outcast Incendiary / Molotov:
  • Reducing duration and tick damage slightly.

 

Developer comment: Grenades were very strong compared to other factions’ grenades and this will bring them closer in line.

 

Pentagon Bosses:

  • Reducing Drone Helicopter health and damage.
  • Slightly reduce health and armor for Brenner.
  • Reducing Brenner’s mortar damage.
  • Decreasing armor of John ‘Architect” Figgs.

 

Mortars:

  • Reducing damage of mortars in Coney Island.
  • Increase delay between UI warning and explosion damage of mortars in the Washington National Zoo.
  • Fixing general damage scaling issues with mortars.

 


Skills

Assault Turret:

  • Improving auto-targeting of Assault Turret to better prioritize NPCs it can shoot, and which are close to it.

 

Assault Drone:

  • Improving behavior to prevent the Drone from becoming stuck.
  • Improving the consistency of firing and pathing.

 


Status effects

Poison Status Effect:

  • Reducing tick interval, damage and duration.

Developer comment: Even with the damage reduction to enemy NPCs poison continues to be extremely strong, this nerf will alleviate this further.

 

EMP:

  • EMP Skills and Shock effects will now do damage to several NPC Skills like the Jammer from Support units and the Nail Bomb from Thrower archetypes.

 


Leaderboards

  • Reset the leaderboards for Operation Dark Hours

Inside Xbox 2020 Debut Episode Coming Tomorrow

Microsoft has announced the first Inside Xbox show for 2020, and it’s happening tomorrow! The Inside Xbox 2020 debut happens on Tuesday, April 7, at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET.

According to Microsoft, there will be news on Groundd, Gears Tactics, Seas of Thieves, Xbox Game Pass, and some surprises from the ID@Xbox team. For those looking forward to more Xbox Series X news, that sadly, won’t be the available. Microsoft has confirmed that there won’t be any Xbox Series X news to share, though there will be a sitdown discussion with Director of Program Management for Xbox Series X Jason Ronald to talk about the recently revealed tech specs.

People will be able to watch Inside Xbox live tomorrow on MixerTwitchYouTubeFacebook, and Twitter, and of course, we’ll post a livestream up on the site once we can.

Following the episode, there will be a live, first-lok at the single-player experience in Grounded, and will also be broadcast live.

MP1st will post the big news, and relevant info as it happens so stay tuned.

In case you didn’t know, Respawn Entertainment is bringing a new event called “The Old Ways” to Apex Legends starting tomorrow. To help drum up hype, the studio has released the Apex Legends The Old Ways Event trailer that brings a mix of story, and what’s set to come in terms of gameplay.

Prepare to discover the Old Ways. Prove yourself before the gods in the new Town Takeover: Bloodhound’s Trials. Test your strength against the hoard of prowlers stalking the temple. Survive, and you will be richly rewarded. Master daily challenges to earn exclusive items. And should you desire to return to older modes and Arenas, you can now find Kings Canyon and Duos in the main menu. Are you ready to follow Bloodhound’s path and earn the favor of the Allfather?

This event will focus on Bloodhound, and as the trailer shows, there’s a new area that houses high tier loot that’s sure to be crowded with people starting tomorrow.

We’re expecting a full-fledged patch to drop along with the event, and if past events are anything to go by, we should get the patch notes within the day. Once we have it, we’ll be sure to let our readers know ASAP.

Elusive Target Reactivation – The Politician
Your target is Dame Barbara Elizabeth Keating a New Zealand tycoon and the former Minister of Trade and foreign affairs. Her recent actions have forced her to employ a body double, so stay sharp to identify the correct target.
You may only have 1 target, but 10 days of opportunity to complete the contract.

Curated Contracts
Our Curator for April is KevinRudd! He’s a well-known figure on Hitman Forum and Reddit. He’s a very creative soul and often creates humorous, mindpuzzling contracts and shares stylish screenshots. You could say he’s an Ansel master! Look out for his contracts in-game on April 16.

Elusive Target Reactivation – The Serial Killer
The identity of this target is currently unknown, but the recent discovery of two new victims indicates he’s now using Whittleton Creek as his new hunting grounds. Your task is to take him down and you have 10 days to do it. You’ll earn the Suburban Suit with Gloves for successfully completing the mission.

Finally, IO Interactive has mentioned that the last IOI Monthly stream was stuck at #13, and last month’s stream was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For now, the studio isn’t sure how episode #13 will unfold, bt they are working on something.

Report: Modern Warfare Season 3 Village Map Not a MW3 Remake

Just last week, a bunch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3 info got leaked via datamined info from the latest patch. Some of the info obtained there included the new maps and weapons Infinity Ward is set to introduce in Season 3, which starts this coming week.

In the datamined files, it mentions that there will be a Modern Warfare Season 3 Village map for multiplayer, which we all assumed would be a remake from Modern Warfare 3. Well, as it turns out, that won’t be the case.

Reliable dataminer Senescallo posted a new map layout of the upcoming Village map, and as you can see, it’s not really the same from Modern Warfare 3.

While this is good news for those tired of remade maps, the community has been mixed about it so far, with some not trusting the current Infinity Ward devs to release a proper map (Azhir Cave, anyone?), with others stating that given Infinity Ward’s current map design decisions, they’ll probably include a ton of windows and doors so newbies and campers have new spots to hide in.

Bear in mind once again, these are all from datamined files and have not been confirmed by Activision or Infinity Ward. That said, if the past seasons of Modern Warfare are any indication, these datamined info are usually super spot-on.

Nonetheless, the wait won’t be long now as Modern Warfare’s Season 3 starts April 8, and you can bet Infinity Ward will release a new trailer highlighting what players will be geting in it.
